I was in the coffee shop with my family and we had a delicious meal. A few hours later I had severe stomach pain and symptoms of mild food poisoning. That left me lying flat for 1.5 days!

A top address in Halle if you want to treat yourself to a good drink with the boys in a relaxed atmosphere in the evening. Young, very friendly staff provide the service as it should be, thank you for the nice evening, we will come back when we are in Halle! ❤️

I have to push the star rating a bit. I've known the coffee shop for a quarter of a century and am always happy when I visit my hometown that some of my favorite places are still there. So does this location. I don't know anything about the change in ownership and I was there again a month ago. Hardly anything has changed and I still feel comfortable there. But there are still two points of criticism: 1. This glass-enclosed “smoking compartment” in the entrance area is an imposition. It smells so bad in there that you don't want to smoke a cigarette anymore. And 2. I miss the live music. Maybe that as a suggestion for improvement. Best regards from Antje from Halle

If you're a little hungry, you can stop off for a break. Not high quality but ok. Prices are well adapted to the surrounding restaurants. Service is a bit annoyed in the small room but always does its best.

After the last change of ownership, it is much brighter and no longer so cluttered with decorations. But I liked the menu better before.

Had breakfast in the middle of the week and it was very nice! Service was very slow at the beginning but that got better over time. Unfortunately the place was still very cold... The breakfast was great and everything was fresh, no JA' salami or anything like that. Really good!

Service 0 Super child unfriendly!! I went in there with my one-year-old child, who was sleeping in the carrier, it was raining outside and I had no idea how to protect ourselves. I asked if I could wait a moment, my husband was on the way and it took him exactly 3 minutes by car to get to the cafe. The staff first looked at us with real disgust and then told me that we were irritating the boss by standing inside, and we should stand behind the curtains, in front of the door, where no one could see us... and then she was back in went into her cabin and continued diving. I was so insulted and shocked at how inhumane it was that they turned me out again with my 1 year old daughter. I don't care what their food tastes like if no "human" is working there.

It's actually nice that the coffee shop still exists But there is still plenty of room for improvement earlier We had reserved for a birthday party but the table we had previously agreed to was not available. We were assigned a small table for 7 people - unfortunately too small for food and drinks. Starter comes with the main course and there were always smells of toilet coming from the basement. And the fact that since the reopening there has only been cash payment is a real imposition, especially for a larger group with one paying person.

Been there for the first time since the change of operator. Not much has changed, which I think is a good thing as a creature of habit. Unfortunately, the service was a little chaotic, some things were forgotten or there was probably no agreement between the staff. At least one waiter has identified himself as new, so maybe that will work out. The food was delicious, but unfortunately I didn't really like the café latte.

Having breakfast in Kaffeeschupoeb with my Potsdam guest was embarrassing. Map dingy (paper on plate great, but please change!!!!) Although we were almost the only guests at 9, it took some time to greet us, and the breakfast menu was unimaginative. The black tea came without honey or sugar, milk or lemon, it took a while...., the salmon and egg breakfast was just loveless and tasteless. I've had Cai latte before in a double-walled cup, which is better, spritz berry is very good. I was very happy about the continued existence of the coffee shed, hence my repeated attempt to contribute to its preservation. Guys, you have to step on the gas a bit. I don't think anyone expects a luxury breakfast from you, but a little more motivation. I would like to try it again, even with breakfast. I bet word of something special is getting around. Little things, it's not that difficult. Service was still good, I know how difficult it is to work on Sundays. Good luck!

I'm pleased that the coffee shop continues to exist. It's also always good to modernize and adapt things. Unfortunately, the new menu is not good. Many dishes are missing or are only available at lunchtime. Beer is primarily drunk in the shed, the pub invites you to relax. You need hearty food here. The fries are gone, the farmer's breakfast, the snacks too, the fish and chips are no longer available in the evenings. And the new card is no longer laminated and therefore quickly looks old and worn out. What a shame!

I was so happy that the coffee shop was open again. Last night we wanted to have a drink and a bite to eat there. We were "sacked" again by an unmotivated barman who pointed out that the last round had already been served. That was around 9:20 p.m. The dining room was empty and the competition was a bear dance. We found what we were looking for there. Too bad!

Nice pub with good beers and a nice atmosphere to spend an evening with friends.

Mega long waiting time (45 minutes for drinks with around 5 employees and few guests), no structure and then the beer was spilled over the table and three guests. We wanted to give the new owners a chance...but that's just not possible.

The waitress greeted us personally, brought us to the table and then forgot about it... after 15 minutes we left without a word and no one noticed... service is different... that's why there's only one star

It used to be better. Yesterday the service was very, very slow. Otherwise always good for going out.

Unfortunately, not much has happened in terms of innovations. Staff seems overwhelmed. Long waiting times. Menu already worn and dirty. Access to the toilet is still a bit of a construction site and unclean. Sorry either come back really well or leave it.

What disgusting food! NEVER AGAIN! AND WARNING FOR ALL PEOPLE! – “Sauerbraten”: Served without sauce (“oh, I guess they forgot that”). What came next had absolutely nothing to do with “Sauerbraten” - then a meat - which piece of pig did it come from? Hard and a strange taste. Decency was why it wasn't returned straight away. – The potato dumplings… finely even (surely rolled personally by the boss – no, clearly frozen industrial dumplings) were still raw inside. – The result: sick for two days with diarrhea and gastrointestinal cramps. Dish No. 2 “Beef cheeks”: Two pieces on the plate – one “normal”, one hard and chewy and dry. Even the friends at the table noticed this: “You must be doing a lot of sawing.” Their juice spritzer and potato soup were only eaten with the corners of their mouths turned up. – What a good reputation the coffee shop once had. It was an “institution” with good food and friendly service. Let it be or learn your craft so that you are spared such “experiences”. We will not pass on any recommendations for the time being.

For a coffee shop there were only 2 different cakes, which left something to be desired. The coffee and the Russian chocolate didn't taste good and didn't correspond to the recipe. Not recommended.

Slow, unmotivated service, good beer, normal food... the change of ownership didn't help...

Very disappointing experience. We came here very hungry and ordered the cordon bleu and the cheese meatballs. The food comes very quickly, which made me doubt its freshness. We ate the cordon bleu first and it was edible but the worst cordon bleu I've had. Then I had high hopes for the meatballs, which by the way cost around 20 euros, and we couldn't even stand the taste. The meat tasted so strange and was probably already expired. It smelled and gave me a stomach ache. The waitress was kind enough to bring it back and said there was something wrong with the meat. Then she told us that we didn't have to pay for the meat, but charged us for the fries that we had with the meatballs (which were the only good thing about the meal). Surely we paid 35 euros for just a good portion of fries and nothing else was edible. Really really disappointed, the only thing was that the waitress was nice and helpful.

Friendly service, we had to wait a long time until someone came. The restaurant was full, there weren't enough staff, as requested by the boss. The food was good, unfortunately it wasn't hot anymore, the salad already had brown spots, the glasses weren't clean, the previous person's lipstick was still on.

Many types of tap beer, generally delicious food, friendly staff, various seating options, pleasant music, often evening programs (especially in winter), popular with young and old.

Everything is clean inside and outside..Frdl service..food tastes great and plentiful..a visit is worth it..Prices for food and drinks are acceptable..you don't go there every day..recommended

Rustic restaurant with the character of a pub that is unique in Halle. According to the owner, who took over on January 1st, the coffee shop has been around for over 20 years. The great ambience invites you to linger. What is special are the regular live music events with folk, rock and Irish music. Thanks to the good soul Conny, the cuisine is varied, plentiful and good, everyone can find something tasty here.

Homemade lemonade could have a little more flavor and the fruit should be fresh. A very nice service!

I actually really like going to the coffee shop. The prices have risen significantly, but the food is delicious and plentiful. However, the service has left a lot to be desired during my recent visits. Today was the last time I was there. We waited forever to place our orders. The drinks only came with the food. The waiter always had to be informed that we wanted to order something, even though there were only four tables occupied. For the prices now quoted, I expect at least reasonable service. However, the staff today could not come close to fulfilling this wish. It's a shame, because not all of the employees in the coffee shop do a bad job.

Very friendly service, food is good and plentiful, but the prices are quite high. For a breakfast with drinks you can easily reach 25€/person or more.

It was very popular for many years, but not anymore. Waited forever, loud "cracking" with the dishes, far away from comfort. However, the quality of the food is definitely better again.

The legendary cuisine and the extraordinary ambience. An institution in small Ulli since around 1991. Great service. It's basically part of Halle's gastronomy like salt on fried potatoes. 12 types of beer on tap. The farmer's breakfast - my special tip. Card payment. outdoor seating. Smoking lounge in the basement.

The three of us wanted to try out the (comparatively expensive) breakfast. Unfortunately, after waiting for over 20 minutes, despite the fact that it wasn't particularly full, our order still wasn't taken. So we got up and went over to the Red Horizon. A pity. No need for a repeat.

In a relaxed atmosphere you find yourself in the company of students and people who are young at heart. The waitress is very friendly and asks about your well-being. The food was very tasty and there was something on the menu for everyone. Definitely worth a visit.

On our first visit to the ground floor apartment at the back of the house, the coffee shop is always our first choice in little Ulli.

An inconspicuous location from the outside. But with everything that can satisfy a guest who likes rich food. The range of drinks is also surprising and the seating is nice and comfortable.

An institution in Halle for cozy coffee house chats and meetings with friends!!! Very comfortable. Pub atmosphere with the flair of a small Viennese coffee house. Highly recommended !!

It was really great, we were thrilled.

I've been a regular here for decades. I associate many fond memories, moments, evenings, mornings and afternoons with him. I was already there in the old coffee shed.

The staff is uncoordinated and unfriendly. It only comes to the table when it is called (and even then not necessarily). The atmosphere is very loud because the dishes are clattering loudly and the milk frother is also very loud.

Food was cold and apparently only warmed up. The service reacted to criticism in an unfriendly and dismissive manner. Not recommendable.

Unfortunately, we weren't that thrilled with our visit here. Very very disorganized and unfriendly. At first we were completely ignored when we came in. So we sat down somewhere where we were unkindly sent away. We were told to sit somewhere else because it's a closed society here. There was no sign indicating this. We waited ages at the new table before we were served. A second time no one came to ask if we wanted anything else or wanted to pay. Only when we went to the counter and asked how the payment was going was a colleague sent to us. It's a real shame as it was otherwise delicious.

We were here for the first time today, had coffee and a hot chocolate. Drinks were good and so was the service. Friendly staff, were also relatively quick. Toilets are also absolutely fine. If we're in the area again, we'll be happy to come back. 😉👍🏻👍🏻

We were there with an admittedly very lively 5-year-old, the child of our companions. Breakfast took a bit long, but was tasty. Unfortunately, in the end we were asked rather rudely to ensure that the child accompanying us remained seated quietly at the table. By the way, other guests showed us understanding. My recommendation: instead of annoyingly demanding that a toddler sit still, rather... - Bring food to the table more quickly - Offer activities such as painting, puzzles, books or a play area - Stay friendly instead of showing your nerves - as parents you manage this every day and are happy about support and structures that make things easier instead of adding additional stress due to such unpleasant moments Unfortunately we won't be coming back as a matter of principle. I don't have children myself, but I can empathize with the parenting challenges and would like to have more understanding and empathy for them. Disclaimer: I added the last sentence later so that you know that your apparently well-intentioned tips and the GUEST-friendly greetings are unfortunately not correctly placed for me.

Cozy, cool music selection, friendly service, lots of options for vegetarians & vegans - the food generally tasted good, but the fries were a bit dry and the burger sauce was very mayo-heavy. But the cappuccino was very tasty :)

Wollte hier meinen Geburtstag feiern, da ich bis zu dem Zeitpunkt auch immer einen ziemlich positiven Eindruck hatte... Aber naja: Erstmal kam 20 Minuten lang keine Karte und dann auch nur auf Nachfrage. Das bestellte Essen war in mehreren Fällen schon kalt. Das Highlight war jedoch, als einer meiner Gäste das "Volle Brett" bestellen wollte und mit den Worten abgewatscht wurde, dass das viel Arbeit mache und "ob er nicht einfach ein normales Bier bestellen könne". Da konnte der Kellner froh sein, dass ich am anderen des Tisches saß. In meinen Augen ein volles Desaster, was mir dann auch unangenehm war. Sind dann frühzeitig gegangen. Also für 2-4 Leute eine ganz gute Idee. Aber für größere Gruppen, meiner Erfahrung nach, sicher nicht zu empfehlen.

The lady at the counter just shouted at us "Stop, stop" when we wanted to check one of the rooms after we entered because everything else was full. There are whole lot more ways to politely say that someone is not supposed to enter a certain area. Shouting "Stop, stop" is just outright rude.

Leider ist der Kaffeeschuppen für uns gestorben. Mieser Service (mussten ewig warten) & Essen war auch nicht gut. Schade.

Essen und Trinken ist Top. Bedienung leider total überfordert und die Rechnung ist mehr als falsch weil am Ende die Übersicht über Bestellungen fehlt. Alles sehr eng und die Stühle laden leider nicht zum länger sitzen ein. Aber trotzdem gern mal wieder!

Nette "Kneipe" lecker Fassbier, gute Weine. Eine Gaststätte wie ich sie mag. Unsere Essen waren total gut, Burger und Bratkartoffeln. Preis Leistung top. Bedienung nett und zuvorkommend. Würde hier gerne mal Livemusik erleben. Vielleicht führt uns eine Reise wieder mal nach Halle.

Immer wieder gern hier zum Frühstück ab 9.00 Uhr. Toller Service, leckere Frühstücksvarianten (von schlicht bis extra) und gutes Ambiente im Herzen von Halle.

Sau gutes Frühstück. So ein gutes Rührerei habe ich schon lange nicht mehr gegessen. Liebevoll angerichtete Teller mit viel Obst und Gemüse - einfach lecker. Gerne wieder.

Zentral in der kleinen Ulrichstraße, quasi der Kneipenstraße von Halle, gelegen. Ich war bisher dreimal hier. Die Bar an sich ist sehr hübsch, aber sehr eng. Sie ist zwar stets gut besucht, aber man ist gerade zur Stoßzeit alleine durch die verwinkelten und schmal geschnittenen Räume sehr aneinander gepresst. Die Bar steht gleich im Eingangsraum, dem gefühlt schmalsten von allen, sodass der Kampf um das Ringen nach Luft gleich beim Eintreten losgeht. Drinnen angekommen versteht man allerdings kaum ein Wort. Es ist wirklich sehr laut dort. Ein paar sehr angenehme Plätze gibt es aber auch. So sind vom hinteren Hauptraum eine kleine Treppe nach oben oder ein paar sehr gemütliche Sessel am Fenster vorzufinden. Einmal war ich zu einem Konzertbesuch hier, der die Band zwischen den Haupträumen auftreten lies. Das Einkehren in den zweiten, größeren Raum war damit quasi unmöglich. Draußen ist es deutlich angenehmer zu sitzen. Allerdings wird dort dann das Raucherklientel platziert. Als Nichtraucher hat man also dieselben Luft-Probleme wie drinnen. Größtes Manko ist die Bedienung. Jedes Mal wartet man mehr als eine halbe Stunde auf Speisen und Getränke. Wir bestellten zusätzlich, nachdem wir die Pommes erhielten, noch einen kleinen Dip dazu. Das dauerte ebenfalls mehr als eine halbe Stunde, in welcher uns der Kellner mit mehreren Signalen vermittelte, dass er uns nicht vergaß. Unterdessen wurden noch Leute bedient und abkassiert. Dabei wollten wir nur einen kleinen Dip... Die Auswahl an Getränken ist hervorzuheben. Die ist wirklich beeindruckend und hebt sich deutlich von anderen Bars ab. Auch werden viele hausgemachte Getränke (Biere, Cider, Weine und Cocktails) aus der Region angeboten. Die Auswahl der Speisen ist für eine Bar Wahl auch gut und es gibt sehr abwechslungsreiche Angebote. Zur Qualität kann ich aber nichts sagen, weil ich hier nie gegessen habe. Preislich bewegt sie sich dann aber doch eher im höheren Segment. Andere finden sie gut, aber mein Fall ist es nicht.

Tolles Kaffee und auch Speiserestaurant. Leider ist der Service nicht immer up to date.

Extrem zufrieden. Es gibt eine ordentliche Frühstückskarte mit "kalten" (Brötchen, Wurst, Käse, Süßes usw.) und warmen (Rührei, Omelett, Bauernfrühstück usw.) Gerichten. Ich war mit allem restlos zufrieden, aber ein 0,4l frisch gepresster Orangensaft für € 7,90 ist schon einigermaßen unverschämt, wie ich finde. Alles andere: Empfehlung. 👍

Ich komme jetzt seid Jahren immer wieder gerne mit Freunden in diese Kneipe. Auch wenn der Name etwas irritiert ist es ein Lokal mit guten Getränken und leckeren Essen mit Toach eines Irish Pubs. Ich freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Besuch.

... im Herzen von Halle gelegen, ist das ein idealer Treffpunkt. Auf der Karte gibt's für jeden Hunger und Geschmack garantiert diese oder jene Kleinigkeit. Und als "alter Hallenser" treffe ich hier früher oder später immer jemanden, den ich kenne. Wenn Du Pech hast, musst Du Dir allerdings auch hier lautstark am Nachbartisch aufgesagtes, mit albernen Anglizismen gespicktes, pseudointelektuelles Geschwafel irgendwelcher Szenetypen anhören. 😉 (Aber das ist doch überall so😆) Wir sind gerne hier und fühlen uns immer sehr wohl. Besonderer Dank an die Mitarbeiter(innen)!! 👍👋

Vor allem in den Abendstunden herrscht hier ein cooles Ambiente. Die Bedienung ist nett und der Service recht schnell. Die Auswahl ist groß und die Speisen wirklich schmackhaft und ansehnlich hergerichtet. Ich bin immer gerne hier. Besonders hervorzuheben ist auch das „Bier-Testpaket“.

Ein gemütliches Lokal, in dem man innen schön sitzen kann und es gibt einen großen Freisitzbereich. Wir sind regelmäßig dort
