Das nächste Mal vielleicht einfach nicht mit PayPal bezahlen. Vielleicht wartet man dann nicht über 2 Stunden auf sein Essen.

Wir haben das Angebot aus den Internet bestellt. Xxl Jägerschnitzel mit Pommes und Salat. Also ,die Werbung hat nicht zuviel versprochen. Ein Ruesenschnitzel welches nach 20 Minuten noch warm und lecker war. Auch die Pommes und der Salat Waren Spitze. Und das zum Komplettpreis von nur 10 Euro. Wir bedanken uns und kommen gerne wieder.

Würde am liebsten null Sterne geben , haben zwei Stunden gewartet und am Telefon war ihr das komplett egal was mit uns oder dem Essen ist ich wurde mit einem " sie können ja auch stornieren " belehrt , ja genau das ist mein Ziel wenn ich essen bestelle , essen war ungenießbar und das Gyros total schwappelig und teilweise roh ! Bestellt dort nicht , 9€ für ein Gyros wow

2 Stunden nach Essen gewartet, mit dem Begründung dass die heute nur ein Fahrer haben,das Essen war schon kalt, nie wieder da bestellten enttäuscht!

Bestellung lieferando . Abholung 15 min. Meldung lieferando Abholung 1 sth. Völlig daneben . Und das bei ner Qualität die eher naja ist. Kann man essen mal schnell aber und so wars gedacht . Es ist ne Imbissbude plus paar Stühle . Sorry nie wieder !!!

essen und service super, werd defintiv oefters dort essen, auch wenns etwas teuerer ist als zum mitnehmen, was aber normal ist. wenn man das steuergedoense bedenkt, ansonsten kann ich joti wirklich jedem ans herz legen.

Portionen, Geschmack, Preis-Leistung sind top. Habe den Gyros Teller mit Salat vom Salatbuffet kaum geschafft. Top!

Der beste Grieche im Kreis Recklinghausen. Alles wird frisch zubereitet und in der großen Salattheke findet sich nichts, was von gestern ist. Wir lieben ihn!! Edit 26.4.2026: Ich hatte heute mal wieder Lust auf Joti... Ich habe mir dann mal die Preise angesehen. Tut mir leid, bei den Preisen kann ich auch in ein gepflegtes, griechisches Restaurant gehen. Das hat nichts mehr mit IMBISS zu tun. Daher, und auch mein letzter Besuch vor 2 Jahren, sehe ich mich gezwungen, mal meine Bewertung anzupassen. SORRY ... wenn was geändert wird, kommen wir vllt wieder.

War schon mal besser, aber leider wird die Qualität immer schlechter.

Wir haben letzten Sonntag (12.4.) zum mitnehmen geholt. Die Pommes waren hart , nicht knusprig sondern ungenießbar. So war auch das gyrosföeisch auf meiner Pita. Das Pitabrot war auch zu lang drin , liegt vielleicht daran das die Bedienung die ganze Zeit dabei privat mit dem Vater telefoniert hat. und die Soße zum Schnitzel war wie Wasser. Früher waren wir gern dort, jetzt aber nie wieder

Joti war damals die Adresse um gyros und ähnliches zu essen. Es kamen sogar Leute aus dem umliegenden Städten. Preise sind wie überall teuer geworden, dass kann man also nicht bewerten. Jedoch die Portionen, die waren früher immer xxxl. Heute normal. Am schlimmsten ist aber die Qualität, das ist mit Abstand das schlechteste gsyrosfleisch in datteln. Mit jedem bisschen hat man ein Stück Fett im Mund was man ausspuckt. Pommes waren letzte mal teilweise roh. Schnitzel sind im Vergleich zu früher immer noch gross aber allerletzte Qualität. War früher immer mein Lieblingsladen, deshalb versuche ich jedes Jahr einmal mein Glück in der Hoffnung dad sich was bessert. Aber nix da. Der alte Joti hätte es nicht abgeben dürfen. Der Jan B. Hat es total runter gewortschaftet. Einfach total egal was mot den Kunden ist. Hauptsache Gewinnmaximierung.

Kann ich leider nicht empfehlen Gyros und Pommes viel zu viel Salz und Einrichtung nicht mehr Zeitgemäß dunkel und Schmudelig das ganze

Essen war lecker und die Portion groß, Bedienung nett. Ärgerlich war nur, daß wir beim bezahlen "beschissen" wurden. Wer im Lokal isst, bezahlt höhere Preise als in der Karte angegeben. Und das mit VORSATZ. Es gab keine Information oder Hinweis auf den Preisunterschied. Bemerkt haben wir es nur, weil wir passendes Geld geben wollten. Der Unterschied Betrug mehrere Euro. Auf Nachfrage bekamen wir die lapidare Auskunft, daß die "richtigen" Preise über der Theke stehen würden. Eine langsame Druckerei mußte als Ausrede herhalten. Beim ersten Mal, vor ca 6 Monaten, habe ich es noch geglaubt, aber nach sooo langer Zeit, halte ich es für vorsätzlichen Betrug. Grund genug für diese Rezension.

Lleider hatten die keinen Platz frei.Doch sie waren sehr freundlich und das Essen war schnell fertig.Es schmeckte sehr gut und es war auch sehr viel auf dem Teller.

Waren heute in unserer Mittagspause hier essen . Unser Essen war sehr lecker . Riesen Portion davon hätte glatt noch jemand satt werden können. Gyros nicht fettig und sehr lecker . Service 1a und sehr zu empfehlen. Location sehr rustikal ist halt Geschmacksache aber wir fanden es gemütlich . Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder . Bine & Robin

My wife and I went to Joti's this afternoon. The waitress was very friendly, and the peppercorn schnitzel she brought was huge and delicious. My wife was also very happy. She ordered gyros with caramelized onions. We can wholeheartedly recommend Joti's Grill. Anyone with a real craving for a good meal will be in good hands here!

We waited over 30 minutes at the restaurant. The fries were too hard and unsalted. The gyro was too hard.

The place is a disgrace. I will never order from there again. The food was delivered after only 1 hour and 45 minutes. The stated 1-hour delivery time is already a long time. Nobody answers the phone at the snack bar; you're constantly being slapped down. That's customer service. One customer less...

If you're really hungry, this is the place for you. The food is delicious and good 👍

The food was okay. Just a chip shop. The restaurant itself is very dated and needs a thorough professional renovation. A quick dusting would also be appropriate. The service was abysmal. We felt unwelcome. She was obviously not in the mood. A friendly tone or a smile? None. What a shame.

The Greek and German snack dishes were delicious. The fries were well-fried, the gyros were seasoned to perfection, and the salad from the small buffet was plentiful. The portions are large and filling. The service is friendly and attentive. A definite recommendation if you want to eat at a Greek snack bar in Datteln.

We took food with us. The fries were still cold inside, not to mention half-frozen. Everyone makes Metaxa sauce differently, but this one was so sour and tingly on the tongue that it all went straight into the trash. What a waste of money.

No longer recommended. Currywurst fries, very small portion. The sauce was a thick mush that was completely overseasoned. The fries were cold inside. I had to pour out who knows how much fat from the baked gyro. Unfortunately, it's nothing like the Jotis Grill from a few years ago. I was surprised it wasn't busy. It's a shame.

We were looking for something spontaneously after arriving at our campsite. Parking is right outside. It's small inside, but there's plenty of room at the table. Drinks and the ordered food didn't take long and tasted great. We'll definitely be back.

Delivery was about 45 minutes late. Schnitzel and sauce too salty. Gyros rock hard. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time. No longer recommended since the change of management! From one of the best snack bars in Datteln a few years ago, to one that's no longer recommended.

Incredibly cool restaurant! 🫶 A very cozy atmosphere, everything is thought out to the smallest detail — both in the interior and in the service. The staff is friendly, the service is at the highest level. And the food… just WOW! Everything is fresh, the flavors are harmonious, the presentation is beautiful — you want to try everything on the menu. If you are looking for a place where it is really good, tasty and comfortable — this is definitely the place for you. This is the restaurant that you want to visit again and again. Hands off!!!! I'm furious and, to be honest, really disappointed. This has been my favorite restaurant for several years. Emphasis on was. I was really excited after it reopened – but what arrived today via delivery was simply a disgrace. The schnitzel, which used to be decent, is now at least 20-30% smaller and dripping with fat, but the price? Still the same. For what, please? And then the cheese sauce... I don't know if it went bad in the heat or if they just mixed some crap together, but sour, bitter, almost tasted spoiled – it wasn't just disappointing, it was disgusting. Unbelievable that something like this even gets sent out. Why don't you guys taste your food before it goes out?! The fries? Soggy, dry, without any bite, without any seasoning. Simply dead. As if they had been fried the day before and then reheated in the microwave. I'm really angry. Before the renovation, the food here was really good and there was never anything to complain about – now it's an expensive nuisance that spoils your appetite and every good memory. For 24 euros, I expect quality – not a carelessly cobbled-together disaster. This is my last order from you for now...

Gyros were cold! Order was supposed to be delivered after 40 minutes. It took 2 hours. Once and never again.

I went there on Monday to get some food. Unfortunately, it wasn't nearly as good as other reviews say. The very unfriendly woman behind the counter just touched all the ingredients without washing her hands. We waited about 20 minutes and didn't even see her wash her hands. She preferred to wipe her hands on her T-shirt and keep digging into the food... The food was relatively cold and tasteless. Absolutely not recommended and very disappointed.

Everyone is full from the portions offered here, the salad bar is delicious and the service is quick...the place was full but we still got our food within 15 minutes. The sauces aren't that great - unfortunately they're not my thing, but everyone's tastes are different...I've been back after 2 years and the sauces are still the same as before...I don't understand how anyone can enjoy a hollandaise sauce that tastes of nothing...the portions are still large...and I can recommend the BBQ schnitzel with onions, egg and bacon...

I've known Yotis Grill for as long as I can remember and have lived in Datteln. Gyros are a matter of taste. It's always been a good alternative in Datteln. But last year I had an unpleasant experience (the review wasn't published), so I'm trying again. At lunchtime, I asked if I could order in the evening for at least 6 people and was told to call between 4 and 5 p.m. with the order. By then, I had collected everyone's preferences. I also asked what the prices would be if we ordered directly and not through Lieferando. I was told it would be roughly €0.50 to €1 less than the Lieferando price list. So I called on time and placed the order. At the same time, I opened Lieferando's price list and asked about the prices (which were for my fellow orderers). Suddenly, I was given higher prices than listed. I politely pointed out what was explained to me and asked them to state the correct price for the dishes so we could pay the correct price. After the third or fourth dish with a price, I was rudely told, "The place is full and I don't feel like running back and forth about the prices, it's the holidays and the place is full." I then ended the conversation, and for me/us, Yotis Grill is over (and not just for me). Just so you know: we ate there in March, asked for price lists, and asked again by phone 3-4 weeks later. We always get the answer: they're not ready yet. It may take half a year to print price lists, but then you act like that?! The customer can't help it! Dear owners: *It's the same time every year, so why don't you hire another temporary worker, or schoolchildren/students, etc. - holidays don't come as a surprise. *If you don't need to, you can continue to treat guests like that. We WERE guests for years, too, but that was just so unnecessary and outrageous. *Price lists for customers would prevent this kind of nonsense!

Wir waren an einem Sonntag Abend spontan dort essen. Da wir den Jotis Grill in Datteln in guter Erinnerung hatten, sind wir sogar extra aus Marl gekommen. Nunja, so wie es mal war ist es bei weitem nicht mehr und wir hatten eine schlechte Erfahrung. Es war nicht sonderlich voll im Restaurant, das Restaurant bietet aber auch einen Lieferservice an, daher konnten wir verstehen, wenn es etwas mit der Bestellung dauert. Wir waren zu sechst. Allerdings sagte uns die unfreundliche Bedienung direkt am Anfang, dass wir bitte nichts mit Gyros bestellen sollen, da es mindestens EINE Stunde dauern würde. - Schade, ich esse eigentlich gerne Gyros in einem Griechischen Restaurant. Dann auf die schnelle was anderes ausgesucht, was dann hinterher auch ausverkauft war. Ich hatte mich für ein Schnitzelgericht entschieden, was wohl ein Fehler war. Die Getränke bekamen wir schnell, das Essen hat etwas gedauert, was man auch nachvollziehen kann. Als alle ihr Essen bekommen hatten hatte nur noch das Schnitzel gefehlt, ohne eine Info, dass es noch etwas dauern würde. Weitere 20 Minuten sind vergangen und das Schnitzel war immer noch nicht da. Auf Nachfrage bei der Bedienung, wie lange es noch dauert, da alle schon fast aufgegessen hatten, sagte sie in einem sehr Patzigen und genervten Ton "Ja.. das dauert halt, wir haben ja auch Fritteusen für 20 Schnitzel." Ok, da ist mir dann auch schon fast der Appetit vergangen. Allerdings kam dann kurz darauf das Schnitzel. Das Schnitzel war leider nur noch okay auch von der Größe nichts Besonderes mehr. Da können andere Restaurants preislich besser mithalten. Niemand war wirklich zufrieden mit dem Essen. Die Pommes waren bei allen knüppel hart und ungenießbar. Kurz bevor wir gegangen sind, hat ein junger Mann einen "Otto Teller" bestellt (wie Taxi Teller). Trotz dass dort Gyros drauf war, hat er seine Bestellung innerhalb von 15 Minuten erhalten. Also werden Stammgäste wohl bevorzugt. Wir können dieses Restaurant leider nicht mehr empfehlen!

Bad food Gyros very greasy and swimming in fatty sauce which wasn't tasty it was supposed to be Metaxa sauce but it was paprika sauce Broccoli schnitzel with hollondais sauce the broccoli was hard and cream sauce the salad was also swimming in fat from the cheese unfriendly staff counter full of fat splashes unclean and overpriced

Depending on the schnitzel dish, the schnitzels are huge and delicious, friendly staff, parking spaces in front of the house. Unfortunately, it's no longer as good as it once was. The sauce from the asparagus schnitzel was not tasty, the inside of the cordon bleu was thickly coated with mustard or mustard sauce, which has absolutely no place in a real, good cordon bleu. My daughter ordered a chicken schnitzel with fries and curry sauce and got cream sauce on it. When she complained about it, the chef came to the table and said that was usual and that's what it said on the menu. But it said: with sauce of your choice! All in all ok, currywurst and gyros are delicious.

Very tasty food in generous portions. The schnitzels have always been large, often impossible to make and available in a variety of variations. Dattelner Schale (chips with sauce, gyros on top and delicious cream cabbage as a topping) is highly recommended.

Impudence!!! After waiting 10 minutes at the counter in complete ignorance of the owner (who prioritizes a private chat over an order), I drove to another snack bar. The drinks offered to take away are also really outrageous (by far the most expensive in Datteln, e.g. small beer 0.3 / 3 euros to take away!). I'm done with the store, which is already showing its age.

Huge schnitzel for little money. Cleanliness and service good. The only drawback is that the sanitary facilities in the basement are up stairs and cannot be reached by people with disabilities. Sanitary facilities clean but outdated

A German/Greek snack bar with addictive potential! The portions offered here exceed anything you can imagine! I would particularly like to highlight the huge schnitzels! These are so huge that one schnitzel can easily feed two people! A snack with tradition and passion! Delicious food to enjoy and simply feel good. The price/performance ratio is absolutely amazing and, starting with the huge portions, absolutely unbeatable for an extremely good price! Yummy! Yummy! Yummy! Absolutely recommended! If you don't stop here, you've missed something!

Our regular Greek in Datteln for decades. Price / offer: Very good. The classics (Greek dishes and schnitzel) are great, but the BBQ burger, for example, is also worth a try. A few weeks ago I was visiting Joti with a Canadian visitor and the visitors are still raving about it today ;-) . Yes, there are sometimes differences in the preparation of the dishes. But that's human and not system catering. In any case, the team always understands criticism and offers solutions. My tip: If possible, it's always best to eat on site or pick up your orders yourself. A portion of CWP doesn't get any better with delivery and transport times.

Been there again last night for a few years...were there at 7:30 p.m....immediately they said it would take a long time today...you immediately had the feeling you wanted to get rid of someone. The salad buffet was still only 1/4 full at most. .at the front behind the counter there was a scream from an employee, absolute catastrophe..the food came after just 30 minutes, which was completely ok..unfortunately the gyro meat was really not tasty, poor quality, I hardly ate any of it... and then 13 euros for it... at least the fries were good. Conclusion - we won't be coming back

The food has always been very tasty and the service has been good. You have to like the facility. The portions of the schnitzel are quite large, so be sure to be hungry. :-) Parking is sometimes a bit difficult, but so far it has always worked reasonably well.

Good Greek chip shop, friendly owners and nice staff, delicious fries, good gyros, known for the mega schnitzel, delicious currywurst. Old but clean inventory, clean toilets, fast delivery service. Unfortunately I have to update the review: tried shish kebab for the first time today: great sauce, but absolutely dry, hard meat. Lumberjack steak plate: meat was not lumberjack steak (soaked) but dry, lean lobster, without any taste of its own, grilled to death with fatty onions and two fried eggs (which were ok) Bratwurst had been on the grill for a long time and without curry sauce: strange taste that is reminiscent of Maggi broth. Expensive! For a snack I find a portion of gyros with rice for €12, simply salted. The boss is simply not friendly, points the finger at paying customers and makes stupid comments about these customers while they are still in the store...that doesn't invite you to eat here again. In addition, perhaps the hygiene regulations should be reconsidered...food is touched with bare fingers...food over the gyro grill looks anything but appetizing... Well...I don't really want to go there anymore

Went there again yesterday after a long time and what can I say? We were very disappointed!!! The quality has deteriorated quite a bit. Gyros lukewarm, fries cold…. And the “waiter” left a lot to be desired. We were there last time

MINUS (-) ***** for Jotis Grill Ordered food by phone at 6:22 p.m. and followed up twice by phone until 8:16 p.m. to see when the order would arrive. The question was always answered with “in 10 minutes”. It couldn't be worse and that's it for Joti's Frit Ranch. From now on only fries & Co. from the Park Grill am Volkspark, Elisabethstraße 30 in 45711 Datteln #goalsominusstars Update: The order arrived at 8:23 p.m P.S. Just say when it takes and don't lie to the customers! Then I would be full and in a good mood and wouldn't have to write this review.

Haven't ordered for a while because service and quality had deteriorated. Waited over 2 hours today and 2 portions of fries were missing. Bottom drawer in terms of taste. Even the fried eggs on the Holsteiner Schnitzel were apparently pre-cooked frozen goods. Tough like rubber, completely tasteless. 70 euros for the bin. You will be insulted on the phone if you complain about the lack of fries and the long waiting time. That was it finally. The store doesn't work anymore...

Schnitzel is really great but the staff blatantly lies to your face. Today was the last time I was sent away because everything was supposedly sold out. This was probably due to the fact that everything had already been cleaned and cleaned by 9:15 p.m. Then you should just change the opening times so that people don't have to take a detour and then get ripped off because even the door says open until 10 p.m. It's a shame, but I've really had enough of it. Now just disappointing. It's a shame, it used to be the best 'Greek' in Datteln and the surrounding area! If you want to eat there on Sunday evening, it's best to ask beforehand what else you can order, because gyros would have taken at least an hour. Suddenly other dishes are also sold out. The waitress/service was also rather unfriendly... When asked how long a dish would take (since everyone had already had their food), the answer was rather rude. I had a schnitzel (which took almost an hour). The taste of the schnitzel was okay, but nothing special, nor was the size. Fries were inedible. The priorities are probably deliveries or collections.

We got a complete Gyrostelker there. Easily enough for two and super tasty. You can put together your own fresh salad at the salad buffet. We were super satisfied and would happily go there again

I ate an Otto plate there. Gyros was completely burnt and the currywurst was probably a warmed up sausage from the day before. The fries were totally hard. That's not possible.

Ich kann die guten Bewertungen echt nicht nachvollziehen. Das Essen ist katastrophal und schmeckt überhaupt. Es wird sich nicht einmal die Mühe gemacht das Fett ablaufen zu lassen. Es wird einfach so in die Schale geklatscht und fertig. Ich musste mein Schnitzel wegschmeißen weil ich es nicht Essen konnte. Ich hab 15€ in die Tonne geklatscht. Der Service ist unter aller Sau. Die Chefin ist von jedem und allem genervt. Man wird schon genervt bedient und bekommt blöde Sprüche wenn man es sich wagt was nach zu fragen oder zu ordern. Wir essen hier nie wieder etwas.

Wir kommen immer zu 2 und bestellen uns ein schnitzel mit pommes und Cola. Alles einfach echt schön gestaltet und der Geschmack ist einfach luxus

Leider ist es, seit es einen neuen Inhaber gibt, nicht mehr gut. Das Essen (Taxiteller), welches man haben möchte ist nicht da, oder man muss darauf lange warten. Die Preise für die Leistungen, meiner Meinung nach, nicht angemessen. Die Pommes waren zu hart, die Currysauce war nur aufgewärmter Curryketchup, Salate nur aus Dose oder Eimer und viel zu sauer. Besonders sauber war es auch nicht, z.B. Spinnweben in den Lampen. Die Toiletten könnten auch mal eine Überholung gebrauchen. Für uns war es das letzte mal.
