A traditional Bavarian restaurant with typical local dishes to reasonable prices. Friendly service. And it opens already early, not following the "modern" style only to open few days for dinner (as many restaurants do now). All good. Only negative: the skin at my Schweinshaxen was not crispy but hard. Means it was precooked.

Extensive menu at reasonable prices. The owner also checks in every now and then to make sure everything's in order, moving from table to table—where else can you find that? The dishes we ate were all freshly prepared and delicious.

Food had schnitzel topped with bacon and cheese, schnitzel was bone dry.

The food is very reasonably priced. I had the Sauerbraten for €13.50. It was a decent portion, plus salad. Considering the price, I was very surprised by the quality. The meat falls apart on the plate. It leaves nothing to be desired. Unfortunately, I have to deduct two stars for the ambiance (outdoor area), as the pub garden is completely covered. 🌞 No chance. The service was always prompt and very friendly. I find it a shame that such a traditional pub with Bavarian home cooking is so sparsely attended on Sundays. It's a mystery. I certainly won't be visiting again. Edit: Today was my second time eating there. My companion had two liverwursts. I've never seen such huge things. They must have come from the butcher. The potato salad is also homemade. I'm sure there are no ready-made products in the kitchen at this restaurant. I had the grill plate this time. It's the biggest I've ever seen. Top quality for a very reasonable €15. I'll become a regular customer!

The staff was very friendly. The food was delicious.

We were actually looking forward to the great meal. (As it was a while ago!!!) Both meals were no longer warm, more like cold. Portions were like a senior citizen's portion... The service was prompt and friendly, which was the only positive thing. She also apologized for the inconvenience. I forwarded the complaint, but nothing came back, not even an apology from the manager... The ambiance could use a freshen up and dusting, and the restrooms could use a thorough cleaning; the floors were sticky and a hygiene no-go!!!

The food was great! The ambience is not like that. Not because I have a problem with stuffed animals. On the contrary, I find it very fascinating. Unfortunately, they were so dirty and full of dust and cobwebs that I briefly had concerns about the hygiene in the kitchen. The food really made up for it, but we still won't go there again. It's a shame actually.

Friendly and courteous people, the food was good and plentiful. After 3 beers I was allowed to stay in the yard with my motorhome. Recommended

We sat outside with 5 people and just managed to get a table. It was busy but we didn't have to wait long until our drinks and food orders were taken or served. The waitresses were very nice and asked several times if everything was OK. The food was delicious and filling. Top service, top ambience, what more could you want *****

Went to the inn today unannounced, it was very well attended. We were immediately offered a place and we ate very well and very cheaply. We'll definitely be back.

We arrived at 7.30pm on Wednesday, everything was set, a few people at the tables we entered and there was no one, we knocked on the counter to welcome customers but nothing. At a certain point a guy appears and slips into the kitchens beckoning to us, from there another 10 minutes and no one is seen. We left, it was a surreal situation.

The food is good but the place doesn't smell good and it's not that clean either...

A tip from a work colleague led me to eat there: absolutely brilliant prices for the food, the innkeepers were very friendly with their Tyrolean dialect, a great beer garden and an extremely cozy pub in terms of the establishment! By the way: at lunchtime you can get the pork faxes for €4.50 including dumplings! If you don't believe it, you can look at the menu online... The parking situation could be better, but it's okay.

The food was delicious. I've never eaten it like that before Asparagus rolled into a schnitzel with ham, breaded and fried. Plus home-made spaetzle and small mixed salad.

Today we went to the Jettenbacher Hof for dinner again after more than 20 years. Back then it was pretty bad, but what we were served today was brutal. We had a mushroom roast...and one cordon bleu. The roast meat hadn't seen a pan, there was ready-made sauce with a little mushroom and the food was cold. When we called the waitress she immediately asked if the meat was tough. The piece of meat was also completely gnarly. We were able to choose a new dish. My husband also chose the Cordon Bleu. On the first plate you could only eat the fries with your fingers because they were really hard and when you tried to eat them with a fork, they jumped off the plate. The second Cordon Bleu was completely burnt on the underside. In addition, the breading came off when I cut it. When my husband was almost finished eating, we saw that the lemon wedge that was on the plate was completely moldy. Something like that doesn't work at all. The entire environment is also very dingy...not exactly appealing. This inn doesn't even deserve a point. I don't understand what's good about this kitchen... They'll never see us again

Hello, unfortunately I have to say I am very disappointed. A few years ago I often ate at the Jettenbacher Hof and everything was okay there, but this Friday, May 3rd, 2024 was the last time that I and my family were there. The beer garden was well occupied, but there were a noticeable number of heavily drunk guests who were already on the verge of fainting. The drinks came to the table relatively quickly, unfortunately with a fly in the glass, which was charged at full price despite the note (I didn't want it to be thrown away, but). In my opinion a discount would have been the minimum) the food took a good hour to be served and it was simply disappointing, swimming in fat, the meat was completely dry, the fries tasted like an old deep fryer if they were served at all. The side salad wasn't served either. Mold in the bathroom and dust and dead flies everywhere. I also find the sex toy machine near the toilets very inappropriate, which of course my 6 year old daughter immediately noticed. Unfortunately, a clear no from my side.

If you want a really rustic Bavarian meal, Jettenbacher Hof is the right place for you. The food is always of consistent quality and is more than reasonable in terms of price. Staff and owner always friendly and helpful. Very clear recommendation!!!!

Wir mussten noch bis Oberstdorf reisen und hatten Hunger darum hatten wir uns entschieden etwas zu essen was sich als großer Fehler ergab außer das uns ein mieses Mittagessen serviert wurde haben wir nur Zeit verloren. Mittlerweile bin auch ich überzeugt die Gastronomie hat es nicht verdient noch unterstützt zu werden und die Dehoga sollte besser kontrollieren wo und wer ihre Plaketten nutzt bzw nutzen darf. Wir würden hier keinen Fuß mehr aufsetzen.

The Jettenbacher Hof is a bay. economy with a diverse bay. as well as South Tyrolean, very good cuisine, at a good price with nice service. No expensive, expensive restaurant where you have to make a reservation.

Price/performance definitely fits. I ate Tyrolean liver, which was very fine and plentiful. Service always friendly and attentive. A super quaint Bavarian restaurant.

Preis Leistung super. Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt, Bedienung war sehr freundlich und bei jeder Frage wurde Auskunft gegeben. Beilangen Änderung war kein Problem was nicht immer selbstverständlich ist. Schade das es zwei Stunden Fahrt sind, wir würden öfter kommen.

Ambiente und Essen ziemlich retro, muss man mögen, Kindheitserinnerungen wurden für mich als Kind der 70er (Entdeckung des Glutamats..) wach. Tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis (von einer Halben um 3,50 können wir in Österreich nur mehr träumen), Super-Service, liebenswert. Bisschen kleinere Speisekarte würde vielleicht die Konzentration auf das Wesentliche erleichtern.

Wunderbar vielfältiges bayrisches Essen zu günstigen Preisen mit sehr guter Qualität, die das 70er Jahre Ambiente schnell in den Hintergrund rücken läßt. Dieses Restaurant wird ein Fixpunkt für meine zukünftigen Ausflüge in diese Region.

Wir waren um 17.00 Uhr im Restaurant mit anderen Familienmitglieder verabredet. Die anderen haben nur Bier bestellt, aber ich wollte auch etwas essen. Auf die Speisekarte habe ich 15 Minuten lang gewartet, dann 75 Minuten lang probierte ich bestellen - dann ganz einfach bin ich aufgestanden und weggefahren. Als Gast muss ich absurde, überlange Wartezeiten nicht dulden.

Hervorragende Auswahl, frische Zubereitung, unsere Auswahl schmeckte hervorragend. Guter Service, insgesamt eine Empfehlung wert.

Das Beste bei diesem Restaurantbesuch war die freundliche Bedienung. Ich hatte Rindergulasch mit Brezenknödel. Die Brezenknödel wurden als geschnittene Scheiben serviert und das Gulasch war sehr intensiv mit Salz gewürzt. Ich kann dieses Restaurant nicht weiter empfehlen.

Nettes Ambiente im Biergarten. Leider an einer recht befahrenen Straße gelegen. Supertoller Service. Freundlich, hilfsbereit, engagiert, zuvorkommend, top! Das Essen ist bürgerliche Küche, sehr sehr faire Preise aber qualitativ darf man keine Luftsprünge erwarten.

Schönes Ambiente (man muss es mögen) Haben 20 Minuten auf dem Freisitz gesessen und es ist nix passiert. Dann sind wir in den Gastraum gewechselt und wir wurden prompt bedient. Das Essen war sehr gut. Gefülltes Schnitzel mit Spargel Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen und Wild probieren.👍

Wir waren heute das erste mal dort. Der Service war nicht so optimal. Ein junger Kellner hat unsere Getränke aufgenommen, nach einer Bestellung zum Essen wurden wir leider nicht mehr gefragt. Nach Aufforderung bei einer weiteren Bedienung, konnten wir unser Essen nun bestellen. Preislich sind die Gerichte wirklich sehr preiswert. Das Essen war gut, aber sehr lieblos angerichtet. Das Gesamtpaket war ok.
