Jayden Restaurant in Berlin

We ordered for pickup, but when we arrived, the staff said they hadn't received the order. We waited half an hour without getting our food. We're waiting for the order to be cancelled.

The three of us ordered food for pickup via Lieferando and were greeted upon arrival with the news that the order had never been entered into the system. Since we had paid directly with Apple Pay, we were left with the bill. As we had a concert coming up, we made other arrangements and agreed to cancel the Lieferando order. After one of us went to another restaurant to get food while the others discussed the cancellation, we were suddenly told that the food was ready. By that time, however, we had already received the new order. During the conversation, we were given the runaround and had to wait a total of 30 minutes to resolve the issue, which the server on site was unable to do.

An excellent culinary experience! The chef knows what he's doing. I highly recommend it!

The food was excellent and the service was perfect. They were very friendly. The fish aquarium was also incredible, and my son loved it.

I was there around 2 p.m. The atmosphere was pleasant, rather quiet and peaceful. An extremely beautiful coral aquarium was located in the center of the restaurant, making it easy to see and even more beautiful than the official pictures. The food was also incredibly delicious (something with sweet potatoes and roasted duck breast, plentiful and beautifully presented). I was expecting a price well over €50, but nope: €21.06 (including lychee juice). I really enjoyed everything. I would visit this restaurant again and recommend it to others, even though I've never eaten Vietnamese food before.

A regular sushi restaurant, but with a Vietnamese twist. Menu 6 was okay and tasted good. But for almost €15, I would have preferred to buy two doner kebabs. The prices aren't bad for a restaurant, but not all of the dishes are particularly good. You should check online beforehand to see what the dish you want to order looks like. I liked the aquarium best. It was large and very nice—with Nemo, clownfish, etc. When paying in cash, I expected to get my change, which was 90 cents. So I looked the staff in the eye, and they looked me in the eye. Then I politely asked.

My friend and I had a meal at this restaurant. I ordered sushi, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet the standards of good-quality sushi and was quite disappointing in terms of taste. My friend ordered a chicken dish with peanut sauce, but the chicken had a very strong, unpleasant smell, and the sauce didn’t taste like peanuts at all. Overall, we were not satisfied with the food.

This restaurant is highly recommended. The food was really tasty, fresh and beautifully prepared. Every dish 10/10. We had some starters, a main course and dessert. The restaurant is decorated in a cool way, nice lighting and a large aquarium, there are fresh flowers on the tables, very comfortable seats and great service. Here you really get everything you would expect from a very nice restaurant. We'd love to come back!

We ate here yesterday and were completely satisfied. Everything from the soup to the sushi menu to the mochi ice cream dessert and whiskey sour was delicious. The service was also great. We'd love to come back!

We go here every now and then to eat. The food is very tasty and fresh and prepared quickly. We particularly like the veggie starter platter, as a single person you'll be full, but share and eat a main course, without a starter you'll stay under €20 with a drink

JADEN has the problem that the previous restaurant KANG FENG was a first-class dining option!!! I have rarely eaten as badly as I did in JADEN!!! Dried duck with a miserable side dish -> the cheapest of the cheap! The best thing about the restaurant was the parking lot in front of the door! Oh yes, the service was friendly!!!

I've eaten here many times. Very tasty food, had various sushi, peanut duck, Tom Kha Ghai soup - everything fresh and tasty every time. The service is quick and attentive, the atmosphere is nice and cozy. Prices are a little higher than usual but I'm happy every time.

I ordered the food home, specially ordered breaded shushi without raw fish because of pregnancy, but raw tuna in breaded shushi arrived. “Out side” with real crab meat was just classic crab sticks.

We were in Berlin on business and looking for a restaurant near our accommodation. We spontaneously decided on Jayden and were happy with the decision. From the food to the service, everything was really great!!! Highly Recommended. It's a shame we can't come more often. Would have loved to try out the menu!

Dear Jayden Restaurant Team, I would like to express my sincere appreciation for your outstanding restaurant. Since the opening of the Jayden Restaurant on Manfred-von-Richthofen-Straße, my family and I have become regular guests. Occasionally we explore the menu to discover something new, as we really like a lot of it. The ambience of your restaurant really invites you to linger, with the magnificent aquarium as the focal point and the extremely attractive Asian-modern decor around it. The seating is extremely pleasant and comfortable for both me and my family. Your service staff deserves special recognition. Regardless of the time of our visit, they were always friendly and extremely accommodating. Special requests were always fulfilled with a smile and without hesitation. I would particularly like to highlight the selection of drinks, especially the homemade lemonades prepared by the service staff. They taste extremely refreshing and delicious, even in the cold seasons. We have now tried all the varieties, and personally I am particularly enthusiastic about “Perle” and “Dora”. My mother swears by "Nemo", while my father's favorites are "Perle" and my brother's "Pineapple Mint Coco". The warm drinks also deserve praise, especially the "burnt almond tea", which is a pleasant change from the classic jasmine or ginger-mint teas. As far as the food is concerned, depending on how busy the kitchen is, much of it is served very quickly, often just 10-20 minutes after ordering. The variety and quality of the food have always impressed me and my family. Of course, every now and then there are dishes that don't personally suit my taste, but that's a subjective matter. One constant in our orders, however, is the kimchi, which is a standout every time. The freshness and crunch of the Chinese cabbage as well as the spicy heat make it a highlight. Based on our numerous visits, I would strongly recommend ordering both one and two starters, followed by a main course. For starters, I and my family can recommend the sour-spicy soup, tom kha soup, satay skewers, yakitori, kimchi, mango flower and piper lolot. The main dishes that proved to be particularly outstanding for us were the Pho Soup, Udon Noodle Soup, Rice Noodles, Egg Rice, Golden Mango, Sweet Toto Royal and Ocean Grill. I can't give a personal recommendation for sushi because it doesn't suit my taste. Finally, I just want to emphasize how much I recommend everyone to visit your restaurant and see for themselves the quality and service. Unfortunately, once again I forgot to eat or forget parts of the food when ordering. When we call, we are simply brushed off, which is not exactly the best way to do it. Unfortunately, we then have to look for something new.

Unfortunately, a totally unimaginative meal, like that offered by 1000 other Vietnamese in Berlin. Hardly seasoned, chicken tender due to tenderizers, daily menu without soup beforehand or anything else that would be original. The roughly chopped peanuts next to the “salad” seemed out of place. Conclusion: If you're hungry and don't expect anything, it's OK.

Very good food at a beautifully maintained aquarium

I've been to the restaurant several times at lunchtime, was always greeted in a friendly manner, got a seat without any problems and was really satisfied with the food. The service also moves through the store attentively and is responsive. The only thing I can't say is positive about the ambience. The time for ornamental fish is long gone, as we now know where they come from. I also don't find the lighting particularly pleasant, including from the aquarium. Otherwise, keep it up 👍🏼👍🏼 I especially found the salmon bowl and the kimchi incredibly tasty!

The restaurant has a very attractive and modern design with an aquarium and a mix of colorful pictures and antique-looking vases. Not kitschy, or cluttered with too much dusty decoration, which I think is a big credit for an Asian restaurant. The seating is also comfortable and has an attractive look, kudos to the furnishers. The service is friendly and quick. Unfortunately I only have to deduct significant points for the food and drinks. The presentation is an absolute feast for the eyes, but a disappointment for the palate. The iced tea was incredibly sweet and the pho with chicken unfortunately had a very neutral taste. I wish it tasted as good as it looked. The prices are within a reasonable range if the quality of the food is also good. I'll try again.

Easily the finest food in the area. Fabulous pan Asian menu. We’ve been through the starters, mains, sushi and even had a dessert or two over the years. The fruit mocktails are great. Beer on tap is Warsteiner so I opt for Weizen from the bottle. Great ambience. The fish tank is a winner for all the family. The service is great, really great. They speak english as well as German and don’t frown, they smile. WHAT A TREAT! I really love this place. Eat in don’t take away, the experience is so much better for the same price. Recommend: tempura prawns, sweet potato fries, dim sum, pad Thai, Thai red curry, all sushi.

I am really very sorry to rate the restaurant and the food so poorly. The staff were really very polite and helpful. Once the allergies were announced, it was immediately taken seriously and carefully considered. The ambience is also very good. But the food was very difficult for us to eat. The glass noodle soup had such a strong smell that it was difficult to drink and not finish. Salmon miso wasn't tasty, but it was more tolerable thanks to less smell. Dumplings weren't that good either. Pad Thai also tasted so bad that I couldn't even eat half of it. The salmon was ok, nothing special in terms of taste. Just seasoned with salt and that was it. Udon was better than Pad Thai, but no more. Wasn't eaten either. After eating we felt extremely bad. Since then, we haven't been able to enjoy Asian cuisine for a long time (country independent). Drinks were less than mediocre.

Das Jayden hat offenbar neue Pächter. Das Essen ist besser geworden, die schläfrigen Bedienungen sind nicht mehr da sondern freundliche, schnelle Helfer, und die Preise wurden nur moderat erhöht. Das Ergebnis: Am heutigen Montag mittags ein volles Restaurant. Auch wir waren zufrieden. Der Ingwer-Tee hatte zwar nur einige wenige kleine Ingwerstückchen, aber dafür dab es Minze, Orange und Zitrone dazu (3,90 Euro). Die T6 Sake Bowl war reichhaltig mit Lachs und viel frischem Grün dekoriert und mit 10,90 Euro preislich im Rahmen. Der Geschmack der Miso-Suppe darf gern verfeinert werden. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren mit der Familie dort essen und allen hat das Essen geschmeckt. Die Kellnerin war zugänglich und höflich. Das große Aquarium im Zentrum des Geschäftes ist ein Hingucker. Mir hat der Rotwein auch sehr gut geschmeckt. Wir gehen bestimmt nochmal hin.

Tolle Wohlfühlatmosphäre, richtig leckeres Essen und ausgefallene Getränke. Ein rundum toller Abend.

I ordered online through Lieferando, and I have to say that this is the best sushi I ever had in Berlin. The portions are very small, and it's way more expensive than the other restaurants I used to order from, but it's definitely worth it! Highly recommended!

Das Essen war gut und man war so freundlich, mir eine andere Suppe zu bringen als ich versehentlich eine mit Hühnchen bestellt hatte. Leider wurde an der Bar immer mal wieder ein sehr lauter Mixer angeschmissen. Das war ein bisschen nervig.

Sehr frisch und sehr lecker. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Wir waren nach der Marathon-Expo auf der Suche nach einem Abendessen und sind auf das Jayden Restaurant aufmerksam geworden. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen.

Die gegrillten Jacobsmuscheln sind ein Traum. Generell auch schöne Veggie-Optionen und Salate. Das Aquarium ist auch wirklich schön.

Das schön gepflegte Aquarium war mein Highlight. In Kombination mit ausgezeichnetem Essen und freundlichem Personal ein sehr entspannender Abend.

Im Restaurant steht ein großes Meerwasseraquarium, das ist eine Pracht und es gibt viele verschiedene Fische zu sehen. Es empfiehlt sich einen Platz am Aquarium zu wählen. Wir waren zu Viert. Alle Vorspeisen, Hauptgerichte und Nachspeisen waren sehr lecker und reichlich. Die Auswahl war sehr vielfältig und abwechslungsreich. Wir sind am nächsten Tag gleich wieder hingegangen. Hier stimmt absolut das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Es gibt einen Lieferdienst. Eher modernes Ambiente.

Einen wunderbaren Abend mit Freundinnen bei einer Vielfalt von Sushi-Gerichten verbracht. Alles frisch und sehr lecker, bei einen freundlichen, aufmerksamen und zuvor kommenden Service! Der Rosé war ebenfalls sehr gut Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Beste Pho in Berlin. Leider gerade Baustelle vor dem Haus, lohnt sich aber dennoch.

Auch das Sushi ist OK, zwar keine Spitzenklasse aber durchaus gut gemacht. Im Menü mit Misosuppe die mir sehr gut gefallen hat.

Dieses Restaurant entdeckten wir heute zufällig und da wir Lust auf Sushi hatte, probierten wir die Platte für zwei Personen. Ich war begeistert von der Auswahl an Sushirollen und es schmeckte fantastisch.

Schnelle und nette Bedienung, Essen sehr schmackhaft und ausreichend. Das riesen Seewasser Aquarium ist eine Augenweide.

Tolle Räumlichkeit, ausgezeichnetes Essen, sehr liebes Personal. Ein Highlight in Tempelhof. Besonders angenehm ist, dass das Restaurant viel Platz zwischen den Tischen hat, die hohen Decken schaffen zusätzlich ein gutes Raumgefühl. Genau das richtige für Leute, die nicht gerne dicht an dicht sitzen.

The sushi is wooow! Killing love it

Das Essen ist außergewöhnlich. Das Sushi ist hervorragend. Das ist mein Mittags-Stammlokal in Berlin geworden.

Modernes Restaurant mit offener dementsprechend lauter Küchenatmosphäre, das Essen schmeckt gut. Jedoch war ich über den Preis erstaunt, mir wurde der Preis aus der Karte angerechnet, das 3 € preiswerte gleiche Essen an der Wertetafel zum Mittagessen nicht. Der Preis wurde nach Beanstandung nicht korrigiert. Schade. Die Werbetafel wurde auch nicht entfernt .

Wir hatten mittags beide das Tagesmenü 6, aber um es zu bestellen haben wir erst mal die Bedienung gesucht. Das Lokal war da gerade mal mit sechs Personen besetzt. Der Zettel mit den Tagesmenüs fand sich anfangs auch nicht. Gähn... nach einer halben Stunde kam dann das Essen, das gut war. Das Bezahlen dauerte dann etwas weniger lang. Fazit: Für uns nichts für mittags. Meine Begleitung, die ein paar Minuten entfernt wohnt, meinte, sie hätte das schon ein paarmal im Jayden erlebt.
