Very, very tasty and freshly prepared food, whether it's a starter, main course or dessert! Super friendly, attentive, respectful and courteous staff. Cozy atmosphere, clean toilets! We eat there very often now and can recommend the restaurant without reservation!!!!!

Actually you should be able to give the food & service 6 stars. We are very excited and would love to come back! The fish was incredibly fresh and simply delicious! For example, the tuna was of such good quality that it didn't have the "classic tuna smell" at all. We highly recommend the Tuna Inside Out!! The authentic friendliness and joy in the service was phenomenal. We felt really comfortable. For example, a fan was turned on especially for us without asking. The ambience is very coordinated and calm. It's also great that you can watch sushi being prepared. In addition, very clean and well-smelling toilet rooms. Thank you for the great culinary experience in an inconspicuous corner of Düren where you wouldn't expect it

It will throw you off coming into the entrance of the restaurant. DONT BE discouraged!!! Atmosphere is warm, food is excellent, service was SUPERB!! Miso soup with mushrooms, chicken dumplings, fried noodles with beef, apple spritzer. GAME….blouses!! HIGHLY Recommend

We would love to come back to Tokyo. Great and incredibly friendly service. You feel very comfortable and well advised. Wasabi and ginger were added without being asked and there was also a free plate of ice cream and cream for dessert (super delicious ice cream mochi). The sushi are varied, fresh and delicious. The recommended Japanese beer was also very good.

In the middle of the city and yet hidden - that's how I recently became aware of the restaurant "Tokyo" for the first time and quickly tried it out. What you immediately notice: the super friendly employees! Before you can even order a starter, you feel welcome and are given a little information about the background of the dishes from the polite, reserved staff. The dishes themselves are definitely impressive. We were particularly impressed by the house-made teriyaki sauce. We will continue to try out the menu in the future, which I would like to recommend to everyone. :)

Small positive surprises – best when they come around the corner unexpectedly. This is what happened to us last weekend in TOKYO Düren. The surprise here was the quality of the food - I think the most important thing when visiting a restaurant. So far I have visited a few Japanese restaurants in the surrounding area, but the sushi at TOKYO was the best for my taste so far. Try the Nigiri Sushi and you will immediately notice what freshness and quality of fish means. It was also worth being open to the staff's sushi recommendations... I found the atmosphere very pleasant and authentic, without being too over the top. The staff were very accommodating and we were immediately offered help getting the stroller up the stairs. Such attention counts! As others have mentioned, the restaurant is not directly visible from the street, so it's easy to ignore it. I can only hope that you still find your way there and that it stays with us. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes good (Japanese) food without hesitation.

Super tasty, always worth a sin.

Unfortunately, I personally didn't like it at all. Had chicken teriyaki. The meat was way too tough and completely wet from the sauce. I found the portion to be too small for the price. We were there with 10 people and everyone actually enjoyed the food. Just not me. The staff was very friendly, but we had to wait almost 45 minutes until we received our bill. We announced in advance and told us what each of us would like to eat. Nevertheless, we had to wait almost an hour for our food. Afterwards there was dessert, we had announced this in advance and we also had to wait over 30 minutes for dessert. We were there for over 3 hours and we spent most of the time waiting.

I was absolutely surprised, I walked past it for years, the restaurant is very hidden in a small shopping arcade but the food, the ambience and the service are first class. I haven't been served so politely and professionally in a long time, the waiter was really very nice and accommodating. But the absolute highlight is the food, both the starter, main course and dessert were unique. Freshly prepared by a real master chef, I couldn't even describe the taste because I just didn't know it. Very authentic, it definitely left me wanting more and I'll be browsing through the menu soon. I would give more stars if I could.

Wir wollten schon lange einmal ins Tokyo gehen-gestern haben wir es endlich geschafft. Es liegt zwar etwas „versteckt“ ganz hinten in einer Passage gegenüber von Peek & Cloppenburg in Düren- ist aber ein absolutes Highlight hier das sich nicht hinter Lokalitäten in einer Großstadt verstecken muss! Die tollen Bewertungen hier entsprechen der vollen Wahrheit! Das Personal ist super freundlich und umsorgt und berät den Gast bestens!!! Das Essen ist super frisch und mundet erstklassig! Man fühlt sich hier wirklich sehr willkommen und nicht als lästiges Übel wie in anderen Lokalen. Ich kann Tokyo Düren nur wärmstens empfehlen!!!! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! Wir sind durch Innenraumfotos auf unscheinbare Restaurant aufmerksam geworden, da der Eingangsbereich der Arkaden nicht sehr einladend wirkt. In der oberen Etage fühlt man sich direkt wohl und man wird sehr nett empfangen. Der Kellner war sehr aufmerksam und hat uns sehr gut beraten. Wir hatten Sushi und waren hellauf begeistert. Das Essen und der Service waren hervorragend!
