We ate there today and the wonderful atmosphere really put us in vacation mode. The food was delicious. The price/performance ratio was excellent. It was just a shame that we were brought back to the harsh reality when we left the restaurant. High praise, and we highly recommend this restaurant.

I ordered food from Too Good to Go before it ended up in the trash. Harvesting was between 10:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., and when I arrived at 10:20 p.m., the restaurant was already closed, even though the opening hours stated it was open until 10:30 p.m. If you're going to offer something like this, you should be open until 10:30 p.m. I walked 2 km there and 2 km back, even though my doctor told me I shouldn't have. Unfortunately, I wouldn't have been there on time otherwise. Simply disappointing. Even after knocking, no one opened the door, even though someone else was there.

We had ordered food early via their website. That's what the restaurant asks for. After waiting for over 30 minutes, I called and learned that our order had been forgotten. When the food was finally delivered, over an hour late, there was no apology, no discount, and no free drink. Anything that would have symbolized how important it was to them. A real shame. The food was delicious, but the surrounding circumstances were disappointing.

Good Indian restaurant, large selection.

I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve visited this restaurant — it’s truly my go-to place in Cottbus for Indian food! My usual order is garlic naan, mango lassi, and curry — sometimes Malai Kofta, sometimes Paneer Lababdar. The flavors are always spot-on, and they can happily customize dishes to suit your taste and preferences. The staff are polite, professional, and genuinely caring. The calming ambience, soft background music, and warm hospitality make every visit special. The owner’s humility and kindness give the place a homely vibe that’s hard to find. Vegetarians will be very happy here — they’re flexible with menu changes and attentive to guests’ needs. I’ve tried other Indian restaurants in Cottbus, but this one is by far the best in every way: taste, hospitality, ambience, politeness, and professionalism. Worth every visit! 🍛🙏

We had dinner there on March 14, 2025, before a concert at the Stadthalle. I had a vegetarian dish: spinach with Indian cheese. It tasted bland, barely seasoned, contained an excessive amount of onions, and the cheese cubes were rubbery and flavorless, very bland. My companion's meal, butter chicken, was also nothing—barely seasoned, no fruity tomato sauce, bland. The dips for the papadum appetizer seemed like store-bought barbecue sauces, not homemade, except that one of them was infused with mint. I've had quite a different experience from several Indian restaurants; there it was very tasty and truly something special. And compared to a few years ago, the food has also deteriorated. Furthermore, the prices have risen sharply—a bit of spinach with onions and rubbery cheese cubes for almost €20 is NOTHING. 😳 UPDATED 6/11/25: After the owner of JAIPUR responded to me yesterday, June 10, 2025, and Google just now informed me of this response, I'd like to comment again. There was absolutely no problem with the time. Of course, we had reserved a table well in advance of the concert at the Stadthalle. My review wasn't about that at all; the restaurant wasn't very busy, nor did we have to wait long for the food. The service was rated 4 stars, as was the ambiance. What was absolutely unsatisfactory was the taste of the food we ordered. The objection that the Indian cheese is also made in-house, which I didn't doubt, and gets its flavor from the sauce, may be true. But since this very sauce (spinach with excessive amounts of onions) was not at all tasty, very blandly seasoned, the cheese cubes could only taste bland. The consistency was like rubber, but the owner didn't address this, preferring to advise that one should allow enough time because the restaurant could get very busy. As I said, that wasn't the issue. His last comment, that it was unfair to complain afterward, is just as wrong. Of course, we mentioned this to the server when paying. The sauce for the butter chicken dish also lacked flavor, not like we've experienced in various other Indian restaurants, and we really like Indian food; we've never had anything to complain about. But hunger or the desire to eat out will never take us to JAIPUR again. The disappointment is all the greater given that the food there tasted very good on previous visits a few years ago. Different chef? 🤷🏼‍♀️

It's a real shame how hidden this restaurant is; it deserves more attention! Super delicious Indian food, a beautiful ambiance, and friendly service! I tried the butter chicken for the first time, and it was delicious! I absolutely recommend it!

I have nothing to complain about. A very nice atmosphere, excellent service, and first-class cuisine. The food tastes incredibly delicious, and you can tell a lot of dedication goes into it. The service is always friendly and attentive. The value for money is definitely there. The portions are large enough for a great price. I highly recommend it.

Biryani was spicy and was good 8.8 out of 10 The quantity was good for 2 people can easily eat, naan are also good which I didn't take picture but garlic naan was also good

I always enjoy going there and highly recommend it, but see for yourself! :) The service has always been very good. The food arrives relatively quickly, unless the restaurant is completely full. My requests have always been accommodated. Payment in cash and by card has always been possible.

I was there last week and ordered buttered chicken and paneer. My Indian friend who came with me said it wasn't "authentic" 🥲😐 and the taste was rather bland. For the price it is definitely too expensive and not worth it. (+) The rice portion is unlimited, however, and the service was okay

I can't rate the ambience because I ordered for delivery. The food is simply excellent. I particularly recommend the “Fish Khumb”, the “Fish Pakora” and the “Garlic Naan”. I have never eaten such juicy and tender fish.

I ordered food via Lieferando. As always, it was delicious, although I stated when I ordered that I would like additional rice. This is free if you eat in the restaurant on site, no matter how often you order, as it is a service. However, an additional €6 was charged for my delivery (for not a large portion), although this should actually be included in the price.

A very nice Indian restaurant with a typical ambience and very friendly staff. The Indian food is always very tasty, fresh and well portioned. The delivery service is also great. We love Jaipur. It's nice to have you in Cottbus! Keep it up please keep it up. You are our favorite finder in Cottbus, whom we are always happy to recommend.

Smells delicious. Tastes good. Fast service. Everything was great and recommended. I would have liked to put pictures but there were only empty plates left. We sat, ate and drank really well for two people for €65 including tip. You can also drink the Lausitzer Pils at an Indian restaurant ;) I'm pretty full and satisfied now and can only recommend this to all guests.

I ordered 1 hour before we reached over phone. When we went. There was girl Sakshi at the reception. She didn’t come for like 20 mins and was talking to some Germans customer that help me finding a job. Then we called and they served our order Dal makhani and chicken biryani. Biryani was more of like veg pulao and dal makhani was so disgusting. It was like all the dal left thorough out the day. They served it with old fried onions. It was so pathetic. I never had this type of tasteless dal and when I gave the feedback chef was putting blame on us. That if you want Dal makhani you should have ordered 5 hours before. He was arguing that I know this is not a dal makhani but I will serve this only and I will not change for 1 person. People are eating this way. Then we asked Sakshi for the bill. And She said you aren’t my friend you cant take my name. She felt offended that I took her name. The staff were mannerless, rude, disrespectful. They cannot take negative feedback. Just serving tasteless food to innocent Germans. I wish I could give negative ratings. They don't deserve even 1

Rechtzeitig eine Tafel zu Weihnachten bestellt und lecker „normal“, vegetarisch oder auch vegan gegessen: schmackhaft & reichlich, gerne in Familie (auch mit Kleinkind) wieder mal.

Hier schmeckt es einfach toll - der Service ist sehr gut - der Inhaber kümmert sich auch persönlich um das Wohlergehen seiner Gäste.

Wir haben schon etliche indische Restaurants getestet und wir müssen sagen, das Jaipur gehört zu den besten in Cottbus. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und man hat keine Wartezeit zwischen den einzelnen Gängen. Es geht alles hintereinander..vom Salat, der Vorspeise und dem Hauptgang. Das Essen ist sehr schmackhaft..einfach nur ein Gaumenschmaus. Es riecht und schmeckt nach indischen aromatischen Gewürzen. Alles in einem..ein wunderbares Essen! Wir kommen auf jedenfall wieder. Danke schön!!!

This place is close to Alt market, but still a bit aside the main stream. The service was very nice and the waiter was smily. Food was delicious. The prices were per one dish about 15 eur. The mango lassie was great as well. We were nicely surprised by salad starter as gift from the restaurant. We enjoyed a lot and recommend to others to visit this lovely cozy place.

Essen ist okay aber wir haben 2:30h gewartet. Eine Frechheit

Essen war sehr gut, Service sehr nett. Zuerst wurde aber die Hälfte der Getränke vergessen, dann die Vorspeise vergessen ( nach 1 und 1/2 Stunde erst nachgereicht) , der Salat zum Hauptgang kam garnicht und dann wurde erneut ein Getränk vergessen. Sehr Schade. Der Chef war nett, aber es kam nur eine kurze Entschuldigung und dazu Ausflüchte, kein Angebot zur Entschädigung. Schade.

Wir haben heute spontan bestellt, nach langer Lieferzeit kam es dann auch. Leider waren die Portionen extrem klein. Bei dem Preis hatten wir mehr erwartet. Geschmacklich OK aber leider nicht mehr.

Das Essen war sehr lecker und kam zügig. Dazu gab es vorher noch einen leckeren Gruß aus der Küche. Bei diesem Inder gibt es sogar einen kleinen Salat zum essen ( was eher nicht Standard ist). Die Bedienung war zudem überaus freundlich was man hervorheben sollte. Preislich war es auch sehr fair :) Gerne wieder mal.

Jeder Besuch ist für uns ein wahrer Gaumenschmaus. Der Service ist zuvorkommend, zügig und freundlich. Wir testen gern immer mal ein neues Gericht, bisher waren wir immer total zufrieden und konnten keine Kritik am Essen finden. Auch bisher Neulingen der Indischen Küche konnte ich mit diesem Restaurant für eine neue kulinarische Abwechslung begeistern. Es ist und bleibt mein Lieblings Inder in der Stadt. Große Vielfalt an indischen (und griechischen) Gerichten mit freundlichem Service. Geschmacklich waren die indischen Gerichte sehr gut, Angaben zu Würze und Schärfe stimmten und die Portionsgrößen waren genau richtig.

Heute hatten wir uns spontan dazu entschieden zum Abendessen die Indische Küche zu genießen. Wir waren zum ersten Mal in diesem Restaurant und absolut begeistert. Selten so gut gegessen wie heute! Alles super frisch und verdammt lecker! Sehr höfliche Bedienung und das Ambiente hat einen sehr schönen Indischen Charme. Wer in Cottbus oder Umgebung ist und Lust hat richtig gut zu essen der sollte diesem Restaurant ein Besuch abstatten. Wir waren definitiv nicht zum letzten Mal bei euch!

The food lacked flavour. The service was reasonably prompt. The restaurant did not accept any credit cards, we were obliged to pay cash. I am never likely to return.

Tiefkühlgemüse zur Basis. Dafür „frisch“ und auch frisch gekochten Reis - leider ohne Kardamom , Nelken und Cumin. Tragischerweise kein „Curry-Taste“ , dafür einseitig heftig viel Knoblauch. Könnte überzeugender als deutsche Spreewalder Küche der modernen Art bezeichnet werden.

Bei unserem heutigem Besuch waren wir begeistert. Wir essen öfters in indischen Restaurants , aber dieses war überdurchschnittlich in Geschmack und auch im guten Service. Als Amuse Bouche wurden Papadams mit drei guten Dips serviert. Das geschmorte Lamm im Tandorritopf war köstlich, ebenso das Huhn in Curry. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam. Eine wirklich gute Wahl für ein Essen in Cottbus

Zwar ist die Lage nicht die schönste, aber im Grunde ist man mitten im Zentrum. Was das Team aus der ehemaligen Molle gemacht hat, kann sich sehen lassen, auch wenn ein paar Raumteiler dem Bierhallencharme vorbeugen würden. Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet: Selten so zartes Lamm gegessen - und das in sehr üppiger Menge.

Waren dort mittags und positiv überrascht. Schneller Service und für den Preis ein sehr geschmackvolles Mittagsmenue. Kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren mit 10 Personen hier, darunter 3 kleinere Kinder.... und es war alles perfekt. Nicht nur das angenehme Ambiente, auch die freundliche und geduldige Bedienung und natürlich das wirklich gute Essen haben uns begeistert. Sehr zu empfehlen, wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Ich war dort nun bereits zwei Mal esen und bin begeistert über die Einrichtung, die Frische und auch über den freundlichen Servive des neuen JAIPUR Restaurants in Cottbus. Ich, für mich, hab mein Liebligsgericht gefunden. ENTE JAIPUR mit indischem Käse und alles in einer heißen Pfanne. Auch empfehlenswert: die Nummer 5 und 6 auf der Vorspeisenkarte. Einfach mal überaschen lassen, denn die Dips und Soßen sind der Hammer!
