So you really have to say that I'm very impressed here. Service is first class. You are immediately treated well and served super quickly. Super well organized!! Food is very good. It's not for nothing that it's always fully booked on weekends. We got a place at 5 p.m. on Saturday without a reservation. Very authentic restaurant/bar/experience!

Mega!!! The decoration is awesome, the first impression is great. We got a great table, perfect for me with walking difficulties, even though we hadn't even made a reservation. The burger is a dream, crispy bacon, 300g burger patty: a dream! We will definitely be back soon!

Kitschy Christmas decorations but authentically American. Service is super friendly. The dishes are a bit larger and so the price and performance are very good here.

Wir waren auf der Suche nach einem Cocktail und sind per Zufall hier gelandet. Spitzen Cocktails zu erschwinglichen Preisen. Nach einem Blick in die Speisekarte haben wir dann beschlossen am nächsten Abend wieder her zu kommen und was soll ich sagen.....eine sehr gute Entscheidung! Ich möchte behaupten einer der besten Burger die ich je hatte!! Lokal so gut wie ausgebucht, trotzdem bekamen wir auch ohne Reservierung einen Tisch. Nach dem Essen sind wir an die Bar gewechselt um noch einen Cocktail zu trinken. Das ganze Team super gut drauf, schnell, freundlich. Absolute Empfehlung !!!!

This time the jailhouse was very decorated for Christmas. It's crazy how much effort and time you put into this. The food was delicious as always, please add the Hungarian goulash to the normal menu. ;-)

Stopped in with a friend on the way past. Interesting decorations for Christmas, completely in the US style with lots of decorations and lights etc. Food (burger & sandwich): Meat could be a little juicier, sauces could also be a little tastier. Very interesting sink in the sanitary area, really good idea 💡 Service quick, appropriate and friendly. So all in all it's a solid shop, but there's definitely room for improvement when it comes to food. after (the prices gave me slightly higher expectations)... Therefore only 3 stars from me, sorry...

We visited Jailhouse for the first time yesterday and were absolutely satisfied. The location is unique, really kitschy decorated for Christmas, friendly staff, the boss himself runs from table to table asking if everything is right, singing along loudly (and really well!)...I personally found this to be very positive, you can literally feel it that he loves what he does. Our steaks were excellent, tasted great, not cheap in price but absolutely justified. Salad dressing was delicious and the salad was varied and fresh, the meat tender and well seasoned. The chocolate brownie was super delicious. Cocktail was also super tasty. We would definitely recommend the Jailhouse and if we are in the area again, we will come back!

Went there with grandma today and the two incredibly attentive and lovely men Hannes and Damien helped us walk grandma up and down the stairs. They were both right there both coming and going. Top service, we were all happy + the coffee and specials were on the house. Much love <333

I was very happy to eat a good burger and so I went to the jailhouse. What I got? Absolute impudence. Bottomless prices for frozen goods. I'm happy to pay €23 for a burger and fries. But not when everything comes from the freezer and tastes like nothing. I can't recommend this place to anyone and I definitely won't be coming back. If you're hungry for burgers, you'd rather go to McDonald's than this!

I think €5 for a beer is a bit outrageous..

Nice American style biker restaurant. The food was ok, although not cheap. The service was friendly. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely come back again. We found the design of the toilets quite funny, you don't see something like that very often.

Very good, tasty American & Bavarian cuisine, good stable portions, you feel like you have landed in a piece of the USA and the cocktails were also super good, you can definitely do that! Clear recommendation

Good food in a special environment

We finally made it to the jailhouse. We were very impressed by the food, the mega location and of course the friendly service. Oh and the singing bartender in the background can't be missed.

Burgers are very good. Conditions and ambience are also great. The only thing is that the iced tea is not homemade.

I was very satisfied. I had the Rat Rod Burger with cheese and wedges. The homemade burger sauces are very tasty. I was pleasantly surprised by the level of spiciness, as people in Germany are actually used to "spicy" not really being spicy. The restaurant is lovingly decorated in a retro-American style and therefore provides a nice ambience. The waiters are friendly. Price-performance is right. I'm looking forward to stopping by the biker/US car meeting next season. Keep it up!

The food was very good and the portions were reasonable. The atmosphere is American, rocker-like, there is something to see everywhere The toilets are in the basement and the concept was continued here. The outside area also looked very inviting. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only drawback is that we had already looked at the menu online with an Android phone; unfortunately it no longer corresponded to the price list in the store. After asking and researching the staff, it turned out. That if you look at the menu online on the website with an Android phone the old prices are displayed and if you look at the website with an iPhone the new prices are displayed. A bit confusing but the staff was amazed themselves and I think they will definitely take care of this bug on their website. All in all, I can highly recommend the American Diner.

We've been coming to the Jailhouse for years, on different occasions. There were always ups and downs, but overall it was always a nice place with good food. Now we were here again, lunchtime, Sunday... We had already noticed that the side entrances and the one from the Isar had been closed, it doesn't look nice, there would probably be something better than barrier tape. You are directed to the front entrance with signs. A board here too...wait...aha...welcome feels different. Well, now we've made it to the beer garden, the service is friendly and quick. Looking at the map makes you rub your eyes in amazement. Hello...cheapest burger €14.20? Without supplements! Salads all around €20...A pair of Käsekrainer with potato salad €15.20. T-bone steak €38 without side dishes. After we could see dishes at the next tables, we simply ordered 2 shandies and left. Well guys, I understand...but that's really completely wrong. Price-performance ratio and all that. Too bad.

Great atmosphere, had burgers which were quite good, their potato wedges are perfect! The design is quite amazing inside and the music matches perfectly!

Superbly furnished, prices OK, the service was busy and was therefore a bit behind. But all in all a great location. We'll definitely be back.

Guys, you can't charge €19 for a salad that consists of the cheapest lettuce and few other ingredients and has 6 chicken wings on top!!?? Bread with it costs extra! And charge €18 for a very small veggie burger without a side dish…that’s not possible! Even if the food is delicious. In retrospect, I was really annoyed and will therefore no longer come to eat with you! Too bad 🫤

Fantastic experience in this place straight out of a Tarantino movie. Place, among other things, a destination for motorcyclists and motor rallies. The The place is very captivating, a bit hard rock café, a bit a collection of American style memorabilia. On two floors, with a large horseshoe-shaped counter in the center and an important chandelier. Burgers and good food in on-the-road style. Very kind service. The bathrooms are also very particular. The beer is good (where it isn't here) but the kids had fun too. Obviously it's a place that's a bit more for adults.

spar ribs was quite good. Recommend! Chicken wings was bit too dry. The drinks was not mixed well. The Apfelschorle tasted first like nothing and the taste came after 1/3 glass.

Cool shop, you won't find it like this anywhere else. Very nice staff, furnishings and decoration of the restaurant are very interesting and appealing, depending on the season. We hope we can visit it often. However, we noticed that the prices have increased quite a bit.

I had a salad with turkey and Caesar dressing. The dressing was excellent but unfortunately they poured sweet chili sauce on the turkey. On the one hand it was too much and on the other hand you couldn't taste any of the Caesar dressing. A pity. Well-intentioned but “worse-improved”. In my opinion, the Kaiserschmarrn had been forgotten under the salamander. Way too dry. Prices above average. The price/performance ratio is not right. Burger without side dish 17 euros??? And then 4.50 for fries, really???

Nice atmosphere, I had a double burger for €19, when I ordered the waiter asked if I wanted wedges or fries without noticing that it was also €4.90 The cost of the burger was without any side dish and because it was thick, the inside was raw And the bread was wet with sauce. I wanted ice for my drink, which came after 20 minutes even though the restaurant was almost empty.

Unfortunately, the Jailhouse has increased its prices again, which sadly leads us to give this review. As always, you're looking forward to visiting the jail because the food is really great and suddenly you're disappointed. If a person is already scraping the €30 limit for a burger plus a side dish plus a drink then that is more than outrageous and fed up because the jail actually doesn't need it. This is how you drive away long-time guests...

We've been going to the Jailhouse for dinner for a long time. Everything was always great. But unfortunately the price-performance ratio no longer fits at all. You now pay around €19 for a burger - WITHOUT a side dish. This costs another €4 extra. Still tastes very good. But unfortunately a trip to the Jailhouse is no longer worth it to me for over €23 for a rather carelessly prepared burger.

Everything would have been perfect if the meat in the burger had been hot straight away. So, half raw and cold, the food went back again. The second burger was good.

If you like American food, ambience and music, you'll get your money's worth here. The food is also a million times better than at Mc Kotz and Co. Every now and then there is a real eye-catcher in the parking lot when it comes to US cars or motorcycles. Really recommended.

Interesting US diner with a nice beer garden and great staff! The cheeseburger had a massive, obviously fresh and hand-ground patty on it. The bun looks like it came out of a package, but it fits and since it's toasted, you can eat the burger without making a mess.

The layout of the restaurant is of course more than worth seeing, there is a lot to discover and admire! The staff was very friendly, helpful, funny and on the ball. Food and drinks were served quickly and you never had to be left high and dry. The food itself was good and plentiful. Unfortunately, the burger and Pomeranian were almost too dry. Unfortunately it was very warm in the restaurant, making it almost uncomfortable. Overall worth a visit!

It’s good presentation – gratuitous knife through the centre notwithstanding. glossy bun, melty cheese, scraps of potato everywhere… bacon luxuriating beyond the perimeter of the bun, and hints of freshness from the salad and pickle eking their way out.

If you don't want to fly across the Atlantic for a few hours of American feeling, you're in good hands here.

We were only there because of the vintage car meeting. The restaurant is a bit expensive but the food is good.

The restaurant offers a diverse selection of US-style food. The location impresses with its unique ambience and the bar impresses with its wide range of drinks. The music selection is varied and the prices are fair. The restaurant is a popular meeting place for events such as the US Car Meeting.

The ambience is a bit outdated, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. The food tastes good. The only thing I can complain about is that the service didn't say that the side dishes cost extra, we were just asked which one should be served with the burger and I I missed it on the map.

The ambience and service is, as always, great. Unfortunately the food today was disappointing. On Friday you can get 1kg of spare ribs for €19.90. Then you think mega price. However, the spare ribs were very dry. But the marinade tastes great. The rest of us (3 people) had burgers. When ordering, no one asked how this should be fried. This is what you expect in an “American” restaurant. However, things got worse, all three burger patties were kept warm for a very long time and then fried through again. The end result was a completely dry and burnt burger on the table. Very unfortunate. When the complaint was made, the service staff handled it very professionally and friendly. All 3 of us got new burgers. These were fresh afterwards, but you could also tell that the burger frying wasn't successful on (hopefully) that day. However, we have to say, the combination of the burgers was great and tasted very tasty. But please also pay attention to the quality of the roast at these prices. The price-performance ratio was not justified that evening. But I think it's much better otherwise.

Nice location, rather average burgers at above-average prices. Side dishes (wedges / fries) are still on top. No napkins on the table, the bottled drinks are served unopened - so take an opener with you or misuse the "eating tool". Information on the card does not match the actual products (Miller on the card 0.5l 5€, 0.33 is served for 5€) - according to the waiter this is a printing error. The prices on the menu also do not match those on the homepage. It can happen, but since it is to the guest's disadvantage, then the very least it would be worth is a quick sorry. A rogue who thinks evil of it. What you have to like is the waitress, who, as a solo entertainer, jumps through the entire jailhouse singing along loudly and stands at the table every three minutes to ask if everything is okay. Guys, if I want something like that, I'll fly to the Ballermann. We would have liked to have done without it. Conclusion: drove 50km once, tried it, done it. You can take a look, but you don't have to.
