A lovely and honest inn with pleasant décor and really good food (and good value for money). I went there for lunch with my parents on a Sunday. My father had the Brauhauspfanne (Brauhaus pan), I had the Bauernschnitzel (with a crust), and my mother had the salmon. All the dishes were impeccably prepared and very tasty. The portions are generous, and you'll be really filling. That's how it should be!!! They serve Allgäuer Büble (a type of beer) and also beer from the nearby private Borgster brewery. The service was excellent. In addition to a beer garden, there's also an old ice cream truck parked in front of the house. On Sundays, you can treat yourself to delicious, handmade ice cream after dinner. I highly recommend Pistachio!!! All in all, a restaurant just what you'd want. Keep it up!!! I'll definitely be back for dinner.

A nice restaurant in the Altenrath district. It was quite busy during our visit. The waitress told us while we were eating that it might take a while because it was very busy. I think it's great that they communicate this openly and pleasantly. The drinks came quickly, and so did the food; I've had to wait longer at other restaurants. The lady accompanied us through our visit in a friendly, Rhineland manner. The food was delicious and generous. We'd be happy to come back.

The first time, we stopped there quite by chance 🚲 to treat ourselves to a cold drink in the hot weather. This time we came for dinner. It was delicious. The staff were also very attentive and friendly, just like the first time. Next time, we'll be back on Thursdays, when they always serve potato pancakes 😋.

Jägerhof Altenrath was a true oasis for us. After several hours on the highway, in the sun, seeing construction site after construction site, traffic jams, etc., we needed a break on the terrace of this restaurant. Shade, a bit of breeze, two very good schnitzels (farmer's style! They tasted really good!), and truly friendly people: wonderful! Thank you very much. See you next time! (And sorry for my German).

Very good. A great place to stop after a Sunday hike through the Wahner Heide. Located in the sheltered second row at the Altenrath roundabout. Seating inside and outside is no problem. Simple but well-stocked menu, plus two weekly specials. Prices are phenomenally reasonable. Very attentive service. Would definitely go back. P.S. Parking directly across the street.

Stopped in today while passing through. Fast and very friendly service. The food also came quite quickly and was very tasty. My request for more salad instead of fries was also met without any problems. If we are ever in the area again, we would be happy to come back.

Great location, the innkeepers really put their hearts into it. Good menu, which is always lightened up with changing dishes. The rest of the regulars' table always feels at home here.

We happened to be passing by and spontaneously decided to eat out there. In addition to the menu, we were offered, among other things, asparagus and fresh shish kebab. We chose the latter and were thrilled. Top quality at good prices. The service was very friendly and good. We'll be back.

Closed party for the 60th birthday. Buffet was great. Delicious roast, fine slices and really good potato gratin. Plus two top owners and a happy birthday child.

Leider seit 01.07. Geschlossen. Es wird ein neuer Pächter gesucht!

Mittlerweile komplett geschlossen. Neu zu verpachten. Das sagt alles. Dabei hat das Haus, auch ob seiner Lage, Potential! Hoffe, es kommt in kompetente Hände. Für den Ort insbesondere, die Kunden, Radfahrer, Wanderer, biker wär's sehr zu wünschen.

Da wir den Inhaber kennen und auch seine Qualifikation muß ich Akis sehr loben . Er war heute allein im Service und macht das sehr souverän . Das Essen ist reichhaltig und lecker ( Bratkartoffeln und Schnitzel ) .

Ich muss sagen das ich es etwas schade gefunden habe das man dort nur bar zahlen kann. Aber der Kellner war heute ganz alleine dort und die Außengastronomie hat natürlich bei dem Wetter gebrummt. Er war sehr gestresst, was auch logisch ist. Dennoch sehr freundlich.

Der Wirt ist sehr gastfreundlich, alle Speisen waren sehr appetitlich. Der Service sehr aufmerksam. Ein rundherum schöner Geburtstag mit Familie. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Der "Jägerhof" befindet sich optimal zwischen dem Köln Bonner Flughafen, Lohmar und Troisdorf. Ich kann jedem Wanderer in der Heide, Radfahrer oder Motorradfahrer raten hier einen Zwischenstop einzulegen. Akis bzw Stavos und sein Team wissen wie man Gastfreundschaft schreibt. Wir wurden nett empfangen und wurden top bedient. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Und vor allem Dingen haben wir alle zur gleichen Zeit das Essen bekommen. Das bekommen viele große Gastwirte nicht hin. Zusätzlich wurden wir gefragt ob unser Sohn vorher seine Pommes bekommen soll oder mit uns zusammen. Super. Das Essen war frisch und kein einziges war kalt oder hat schlecht geschmeckt. Nicht einer war genervt von unserem Jüngsten der durch die Gaststätte lief. Die Toiletten sind einfach aber sehr sauber. Top Gastronom, bei dem ich stets wieder essen würde. Wenn die Temperaturen steigen freue ich mich sehr auf die Eröffnung des Biergartens.

Waren mit Frau und Kind am Sonntag dort essen. Wie immer ein sehr netter Chef und gutes Personal! Das Essen wie immer sehr sehr lecker, gute Portionen und gesessen habe wir im gemütlichen Saal. Aki bleibt der Linie treu und mach weiter so! Super Kerl der sich echt Mühe gibt und Ahnung hat von dem was er tut. Natürlich auch die Küche nicht vergessen das es immer lecker ist von euch. Daumen hoch von uns!!!!!!!!!

Die Teller sprechen für sich. Professioneller Service, großzügige Portionen, äußerst lecker und super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Eine bessere Haxe hab ich noch nie gegessen.

Wer so richtig satt werden und dabei auch noch lecker Essen will, ist hier gut aufgehoben!

Wir waren vor 3 Wochen das erste Mal dort das Essen war sehr gut und die Bedienung sehr aufmerksam aber leider sehr unflexibel ein Freund von uns kann nicht viel essen und wollte ein Kinderschnitzel bestellen darauf hin wurde ihm gesagt das gibt es nur für Kinder. So eine Aussage habe ich noch nie in einem Restaurant gehört vielleicht sollte man das noch einmal überdenken

Es ist absolut jedes Mal ein Vergnügen dort das Sonntagsessen abzuhalten. Es wird auf jeden Wunsch der Gäste eingegangen und das Essen schmeckt sehr gut.

Erstklassige Qualität.Hier wird mit Liebe zubereitet.Woanders kennt man sowas kaum.Ich kann nur jedem raten, sich dort mal den Bauch voll zu hauen.

Das Essen war super lecker. Wir hatten einmal die krosse Haxe und einmal Gyros mit Pommes und Krautsalat. Die Bedienung war sehr nett und aufmerksam. Preis-Leistung angemessen. TOP.

Wir sind ohne Voranmeldung mit 6 Personen im Jägerhof gelandet. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Das Ambiente entspricht einer Dorfgaststätte, sauber und ordentlich! Der Chef bedient persönlich mit einer sehr freundlichen Art und Weise wie man sie in vielen Lokalitäten vermisst. Die Portionen sind ordentlich und vor allem frisch zubereitet. Es hat uns allen sehr gut gefallen und mittlerweile sind wir öfters im jägerhof gelandet.

Sehr freundlich Service, kaltes Bier, Gruß aus der Küche, Vorspeisen und Hauptgerichte sehr lecker, wir kommen gerne wieder. Vielen Dank für den schönen Abend.
