Very tasty food and friendly staff.

We used to enjoy eating at Jade Garden. Tonight, we were disappointed to discover that the owner has changed. The restaurant had no heating, so we were freezing. After half an hour, our drinks arrived. After a 1.25-hour wait, the food arrived. The quality of the food has declined considerably. The rice portion was tiny. The sweet and sour duck was dry. There was little sauce, and no pineapple. The hot plate was missing beef, and the pork was substandard. Mushrooms and bamboo shoots were from cans. However, the prices have gone up. We'll see if this restaurant still exists in a year. It's a shame that a restaurant that was once so good has declined so much. We then had to wait another 15 minutes to pay. By the way, they only accept cash payments.

In spring 2025, the menu was shortened, and the once excellent restaurant now only offers a selection of dishes, like any Asian takeaway. Now, the opening hours are also being reduced. From now on, they will only be open in the evenings on weekdays. I assume they won't last much longer. About my meal: I ordered, among other things, crispy duck with black bean and garlic spice, since my original choice from the online menu was removed on-site. My special request to add bamboo shoots instead of mushrooms was accepted but not fulfilled. I only received the dish with the ingredients listed on the new menu on-site. My complaint was met with a pitying smile. When I tried the dish, I discovered that the duck was not only very crispy but also bone-dry -> inedible! That was, in conclusion, my last visit to this restaurant.

Exceptionally delicious food and very friendly service in a typical Asian atmosphere. Highly recommended, and reasonable prices.

Warning: Dogs are not welcome or allowed!!! We ended up ordering takeaways because we were hungry. The vegetarian dishes were okay, but not as deliciously prepared as the previous one, who, by the way, also didn't mind dogs. This was the last time we ate with people who were unfriendly to animals.

We only visit Emden once a year and have always eaten at the Jade Garden. The food was always very good. Today, I have to say, it was a disaster. The food (sweet and sour duck) was completely dry. It tasted like it had been reheated five times. From what I've heard, we weren't the only guests to complain.

We were completely satisfied both in-house and with takeout. Delicious food, very friendly staff, obviously a family business. Typical Asian atmosphere, everything clean. We'd be happy to come back.

Wow, I'm surprised. The love for the food has diminished considerably, and waiting 1.5 hours for food when the restaurant is at full capacity is pretty tough. I'm very disappointed. 😞 😔 😟

Delicious! The higher price level compared to competitors with similar cuisine is definitely justified by the very good cuisine, which is on a noticeably better level! However, I don't like the ambience very much.

Asian restaurant right on the edge of the pedestrian zone. Inexpensive lunch also on Saturdays from €7.50. The service was very attentive and friendly. The food was tasty and plentiful. Even though the store was busy, the restrooms were very clean. Finding a parking space can be a bit lengthy; parking spaces in the immediate vicinity of the restaurant are not free.

We, two people, had dinner at Jade Garden this evening. It was super tasty. We didn't have to wait long for our food. Everything was freshly prepared and the quality was excellent. The price-performance ratio is unbeatable these days. Rarely eaten so well. Thank you very much.:-)))

Very cute, cozy restaurant, unfortunately it was very cold and there was a draft when the door was opened. As a result, our food got cold very quickly. But we got dessert for free. Food was very tasty 😋

A wonderful selection of dishes that you won't find anywhere else. The orange chicken is really recommended! Large portions, great service and otherwise highly recommended!

Despite a late reservation, we got a table half an hour earlier - and that on New Year's Eve! Very friendly service, food was excellent. Not right in the center, a bit hidden and quite small - but still highly recommended!!!

Wir waren auf der Durchreise und haben spontan noch einen Tisch bekommen. Das Essen war wirklich gut und man kann es ruhigen Gewissens weiterempfehlen. Die Preise sind auch in Ordnung. Ist man fremd in der Stadt, kann man hier gut mal eben satt werden.

Wir haben einen wunderbaren Abend, leckeres Essen in einem schönen Ambiente genossen. Die Aufmerksamkeit der Bedienung ist bewundernswert. Sehr zu empfehlen und wir werden dort wieder zu Gast sein. 🙂

Der junge Kellner müsste beratender tätig werden und ruhiger servieren und erst wenn alle fertig sind darf abgeräumt werden.

Relativ kleines Restaurant mit einer unglaublichen Auswahl. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen, alle Fragen wurden geduldig beantwortet und das Essen war super lecker. Besonders toll fanden wir, dass es hier viele Gerichte mit mehreren verschiedenen Fleischsorten zusammen gibt, das kennen wir so nicht. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Naja. Unfassbar eng, laut, ungemütlich. Mehr ein Schnellimbiss als ein Restaurant. Auch was die Bedienung angeht bzw die Arbeitsmoral. Ich persönlich steh nicht so auf Smalltalk zwischen kellnern die dabei ganz lässig sitzen usw...kann man machen, kann man aber auch lassen.

Wir waren schon mehrfach mittags im Jadegarten, und waren jedesmal sehr zufrieden! Die Gerichte werden frisch gekocht, man kann sie auch ohne Glutamat bestellen. Geschmacklich klasse und mengenmäßig reichlich.

Hier gibt es nichts zu meckern, außer wenn man sich notorisch dazu gezwungen sieht. Wir wohnen in der Nähe und gehen gern spontan mal dorthin, wenn wir richtig Hunger haben. Das Essen hat uns bisher immer gut geschmeckt, wobei das natürlich subjektiv ist. Der Service ist freundlich, die Auswahl groß und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt.

Uns hat das Essen wirklich richtig gut geschmeckt und gefallen. Der Service war sehr freundlich und wir können jedem empfehlen hier Essen zu gehen oder es für Zuhause abzuholen. Das beste China-Restaurant, was ich seit langem gegessen habe.

Heute mal wieder mein Lieblingsmenü geordert und leidenschaftlich verschlungen. Essen auf Abholung ist auch möglich. Wer Emden aufsucht und seinen Hunger stillen möchte sollte auf jeden Fall dort einmal reinschauen.

Wir haben dort außerordentlich lecker gegessen. Sehr knusprige, leckere Ente und Hühnchen, mit knackigem Gemüse, genau wie es sein muss. Sehr nette Bedienung. Nicht so kitschig eingerichtet, wie manch anderes chinesisches Restaurant, sehr angenehm. Wir können es nur empfehlen.
