Ja & Vi's Sushi in Donauwörth

We were here as a group on a Sunday evening. Waiting time incredibly long, portions clearly too small, value for money doesn't work in this form. There were even menus from our table that were cold. We actually remember this store well, but unfortunately it is no longer a reason for us to visit it. Very unfortunate.

Coming from out of town, this was a tip from the young receptionist at our hotel. We walked past it first because the impression from the outside is very middle-class. The food was very tasty, we had different warm starters, curries and also sushi. Very positive feedback from the group throughout. Good value for money. The service is attentive and nice. If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely come back!

Service was not properly trained and overwhelmed, my partner has a peanut allergy and he specifically pointed this out. The waitress didn't know how to react to that. (despite that, they were all very nice) The gyoza were good, the main courses were rather picky. For me, the coriander and bean sprouts were missing, and paprika is usually not included either. The beef was very tough and undercooked, rather disappointing for the price. There was no allergy card.

The food tastes good, is prepared quickly and the service was also fine. Only the ambience has potential for optimization. For example, some letters are missing from the wall.

I ordered to pick up on a Sunday at lunchtime. The stated waiting time was 40 minutes. I had to wait even longer on site. The food was ready after about 60 minutes, even though the restaurant was empty. Rice with chicken was ok but lacked flavor. Sushi didn't really look or taste that appealing.

Very tasty food, especially the starters. Good price-performance ratio, friendly and fast service. If we lived here we would definitely be there more often!

This afternoon I had my wife bring me a salad bowl called Salat Xoai... for a whopping €11.90. This is a bottomless impudence! 5 shrimps, 1/6 avocado, 20g cucumber/iceberg lettuce/carrot in floating 200ml water with a little vinegar... crazy 🤯... simply underground!!! The supposed mango... actually juicy and sweet, was more like a yellow pepper, which was just as firm to the bite... only the pepper at least tastes like pepper... what was floating in it was without any of it! Is there really anyone else going out to eat? In terms of taste, it was a full 0 stars! Once & never again

What an outstanding meal. This is probably the best Asian meal we have had outside of Asia. The flavours were authentic and the food freshly cooked. The service was also incredible, both the waitresses were attentive and professional. If you are in area you really need try this place. Well done guys.

Had dinner with my girlfriend. We didn't get our food until an hour later. The waitress wrote down my friend's request incorrectly, which meant she had to wait another 10 minutes. So if the new dish takes 10 minutes, why did we wait an hour? Of course it's a bit annoying if you haven't eaten anything all day... The sushi is really good. I would eat it again.

The duck didn't blow me away for the long wait. The portions could be a little larger.

Food was fantastic along with the setting (inside) made for a great dinner.

We ended up there spontaneously and only saw on the map that it was a Japanese restaurant. Inside there is very little that reminds us of Japan. Dusty plastic plants everywhere, cobwebs on the windows. Service was friendly. The taste of the food was ok, but the meat wasn't crispy like it was on the menu and the vegetables were unfortunately hard and tough. Wouldn't eat here again. Prices are also too high for the overall picture and food.

It was our first time eating at Tuan's and we're super happy to have found him. We're going there again today😁. Service is super nice, food is top class!!! The owners are a very young team who really try and are committed, you can feel it. We'll be happy to come regularly from now on 👍.

Mega delicious food. The staff is also very friendly. I can recommend the tempura sushi. It's really a dream. The drinks are also very tasty and the atmosphere is also very chic and modern. I will gladly come again

We have eaten there several times, but today we were very disappointed. My partner had specifically ordered a dish without coriander, but the “Bun Bo” was still delivered with this herb. But the highlight was that there was a long hair on my sushi. From then on, dinner was over for us. The waitress actually wanted to charge for the entire meal and, after my complaint, only took the dish with the hair off the bill. The boss was there, but didn't think it was necessary to deal with the matter personally. Ja & Vi's will definitely not see us again.

Food was okay, atmosphere was very nice. Unfortunately, the waiting time (drinks, food and payment) is disproportionately long. And only some of the food was brought - the rest only came after repeated requests and the first people had already eaten. It's a shame - otherwise the food was good.

Food good, service subpar. Were super disappointed. Ordered something to pick up and a part was missing. We went there again and the service was totally uncooperative. The portions were so small that the rice didn't even completely cover the bottom of the box.

The food is incredibly expensive and the quality is mostly good. But we also had glass noodles, which were more like porridge. Small technical errors in the organization and service: the first meal (not a starter but a main course) came 30 minutes before the other main courses and the children's sushi at the end. This can be done better. On that day, the individual waitresses were completely overwhelmed by the apparently unplanned high number of visitors. A second waitress and a second cook would have been absolutely necessary that day.

McDonalds would have been the better decision. I don't think there's anything more that needs to be said. Absolute failure. Price performance doesn't fit at all. Miniature portions.

The online reservation worked well and was processed and answered promptly. The restaurant room and tables were clean and tidy. The black wall color is supposed to look elegant, but it seemed depressing to us. The toilets could use a little love. These were just lovingly renovated, the traces of the previous operator are still visible. Dusting and removing cobwebs would also help. There are no changing facilities available. The waiting time for the food was 1 hour! We had our dessert order canceled after 45 minutes of fruitless waiting. The staff was unfriendly and seemed overwhelmed.

Vegetarian spring rolls, frozen, not homemade!!!! Duck with mango sauce, the only good thing was the vegetables, the sauce was totally wrong. The meal took almost an hour, the table wasn't cleared after the meal, empty glasses were left standing!!!!The waitress ignored us, I had to get up to pay!!!!!The first and last time.

Everything was actually very good, but the whole place was a bit too dark for me. Black doesn't belong in a place where you want to enjoy.

We were the first guests, were served very nicely and the food was fantastic. (Cutlery was even provided immediately for those who didn't use chopsticks.) I ate different types of sushi there. Everything was beautifully prepared and tasted fantastic too! It's super nice and warm. You will definitely see me there again.

Ich war schon immer ein Fan der asiatischen Küche. Ja & Vi enttäuscht hier nicht. Das Essen ist mehr als ausreichend, schmeckt super, toll präsentiert und der Service ist immer freundlich und schnell. Alles, was ich bis jetzt dort gegessen habe, kann ich ohne Bedenken weiter empfehlen. 🔅Vorspeisen: Gyoza, Minifrühlingsrolle, Edamame - Klasse. 🔅Reisgerichte: knusprige Ente Hoi Sin, Tofu Curry - Spitze. 🔅Nudelsuppe: Ichiraku Ramen - Lecker. 🔅Salat Bowl: Mango/Garnele - Erfrischend. 🔅Sushi: Gurke, California, Ebi Tempura - Traum. Die selbstgemixten Haus-Getränke, kann ich auch sehr empfehlen (für diejenigen, die es süß mögen) Wie gesagt - Ja&Vi kann ich allen empfehlen - lasst es euch genauso gut schmecken, wie mir. 👋🥰

Ein toller Laden in dem man sehr angenehm sitzen kann. Die Bedienungen sind freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Die Karte ist umfangreich und für jeden ist etwas dabei.

Wir kennen Ja & Vi ja schon seit der Sonnenstrasse. Wir waren jetzt auch schon das 2te Mal im Ried beim Essen! Wahnsinnig lecker! Echt ein Genuss! Absolut frische Zutaten und ein Koch der sein Handwerk wirklich versteht! Der Service absolut freundlich zuvorkommend und schnell! Grosses Lob ans Ganze Team! Wir kommen jederzeit und gerne wieder! Nur schade, dass nicht nach Bäumenheim geliefert wird!

Essen war lecker, leider 1 Stunde Wartezeit bei halb leeren Lokal.

Sehr nettes Personal. Sympathisch und im richtigen maß lustig. Eingerichtet ist das Restaurant auch modern und sehr schön. Komm immer gerne her. Das Essen finde gut bist sehr gut kann mich eigentlich nicht beschweren. Lediglich das Sushi finde ich für das was es ist ein wenig Teuer. Nicht das es schlecht wäre oder so man kann es durchaus gut essen. Man bekommt aber in der Regel für das gleiche oder etwas weniger Geld besseres. Das Tempura Suhsi könnt etwas mehr soße vertragen. Alles in allem empfehlenswert und immer schön solche Restaurants auch vor Ort zu haben. Paar kleinen Änderungen am Suhsi und es wären 5 Sterne.

Besser hätte alles gar nicht sein können. Personal war sehr sehr freundlich und uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Essen war super lecker. Tolles Team!
