Das Essen war sehr lecker, ich war mit meinem Freund da und ihm hat es auch geschmeckt.

Bester Dönerteller im Saarland. Sonderwünsche, wie z.B. keine Kohlehydrate werde immer erfült

wir waren während unserem Urlaub dreimal mit unseren beiden Kidis beim Döner essen, sowohl mitnehmen, als auch vor Ort. Super leckeres Essen, sehr freundliche Leute, Preis-Leistung sehr in Ordnung. Jederzeit wieder 😀 Aber nur Kartenzahlung! (muss man halt vorher wissen 😅)

Istanbul Kebap im Alten Kessel ist einfach der beste Döner, den es gibt! Klar, es gibt auch Beef-Döner, die dann 15 € kosten, aber hier bekommt man wirklich Spitzenqualität zu einem fairen Preis. Das Ambiente ist super angenehm, man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Und als langjähriger Kunde darf man sogar zusammen mit dem Dönermann Raki-Shots trinken – das ist ein Erlebnis für sich! Absolut empfehlenswert, für mich der beste Döner der Welt.

Seit über 20 Jahren schon Kunde dort und es war immer super. Kurzzeitig war das Preisleistungsverhältnis Mal nicht mehr so gut, aber das hat sich dann auch schnell wieder geändert. Egal ob Pizza, Kebab oder Burger: frische Zutaten, leckere Soßen und die besten Mitarbeiter! Immer freundlich und auch noch gut gelaunt bei der Arbeit. So fühlt sich echte Gastfreundschaft an: Absolut empfehlenswert!!!

We pre-ordered again yesterday, what can I say...it didn't work again...we had to wait again 😪 But my god, there are worse things...the portions are MEGA! The salad is amazing and so is the food, in my case schnitzel with spaghetti, all of the finest 👍😜😋 highly recommended. Addendum: Unfortunately, the place has gone terribly downhill!! The meat just tastes over-seasoned, the sauce is unfortunately not spread on the bread even when you ask nicely, but initially runs down your arms and halfway through the kebab is unfortunately dry. The bread is flattened, something that has nothing to do with pide at all, the result is that it falls apart while you're eating....what happened to you??? You used to have the best kebab for miles around?!

By far the best kebab in Saarbrücken and the surrounding area! Istanbul Kebab in Altenkessel. I've been here many times, and it's always perfect. I love the food and try a lot of different things. There are kebab shops everywhere, but many aren't good. Istanbul Kebab stands out from many others. The staff is very friendly and attentive. There's a wide selection of dishes, and everything I got was excellent. I also recommend the baklava. They offer two kebab skewers: veal or chicken. The meat is of very good quality. Tender and crispy. A great blend of spices perfectly complements the delicate flavor. Other places often over-season the meat—not here. Super delicious. The prices are absolutely fair, and it's worth every cent. Thank you for being there, and please keep up the good work!

It's a kebab shop, a snack bar, we've been going here for years and it's okay.

I just got food from there. It tastes as good as always, but the portions are noticeably smaller than they used to be. My Turkish pizza was half the size of a colleague's who was ordering from the competitor on Gerhardstrasse at the same time. Unfortunately, I wouldn't have filled myself up either. It's a real shame.

Very good Turkish food restaurant with great tasting pizza.

Unfortunately, it's just terrible now. They don't listen properly and have ruined my order three times already. They get rude if you say something about it. So it's always the customer's fault. Ever since the old employees left, I've found this place to be absolutely terrible. The worst thing is that there's hardly anything left in the kebab and the bread keeps ripping open. Despite the increased prices, they still skimp on the side dishes and add a hefty surcharge for everything small. Thanks, but no thanks, never again.

Absolutely great! One of the best kebab shops ever. The homemade bread is amazing – fluffy, crispy and simply unique in taste. You can immediately taste the difference to normal kebab bread. Meat, sauces, salad – everything is fresh and perfectly balanced. The employees are friendly and work quickly. Anyone who has eaten here once will definitely come back. Absolutely clear recommendation!

When it comes to dining, the location is in need of some renovation. The flatbread is the best bread I have ever eaten. Unfortunately no yogurt sauce. Meat and vegetables very fresh. Staff very nice. Unfortunately payment with EC card is not possible

Mostly friendly staff. Prices are ok, you get plenty, especially with the kebab plate. Unfortunately there is still no card payment - old school...

Food was only lukewarm, kebab menu was ordered for 11 euros and had to pay 12 euros at the checkout. Apparently I didn't say menu. Be friendly when ordering and be ripped off when paying. I absolutely cannot recommend it.

This is our number 1 kebab shop. The staff is very nice and always funny.

Were often here before and were satisfied. Today I've ordered something again for a long time. Small kebab plate only salad and spicy meat 10€ and a normal kebab 7€! On the plate I had chicken even though I wanted veal and without spicy, let alone oil and vinegar on the salad. The kebab bread had come running. I actually wanted to clarify this the usual way and called straight away to express my displeasure. However, all I got was a “sorry” and otherwise silence! That was it then!

Unfortunately, I have to modify my review from a few years ago. Unfortunately, this review is no longer up to date. The taste is still absolutely fine. Unfortunately the size of the kepab no longer matches the price. The large kebab is only the size of a small kebab... unfortunately the price has remained the same as the larger one. Unfortunately, this is no longer acceptable. If you're still hungry afterwards and need a second one, something has gone wrong. Therefore I am changing my 5 stars to only 2 stars. If the portions increase again, I would be happy to change it again.

We used to love ordering there, it was the best kebab for us. However, this has slowed down quite a bit. The food was ruined and unfortunately no longer tasted good. The store has recently seemed dirty and unhygienic. The staff is unfriendly and seems listless, always talking about wanting to go back to Bulgaria. We've tried to give the store another chance several times but unfortunately nothing has changed. It's a real shame. Maybe a suggestion for the owner to spruce up the shop a bit; for the current kebab price it would be absolutely appropriate to improve the ambience.

I would NEVER have thought it possible that I would have to reevaluate this. Unfortunately, the 5 stars only become 2 stars. We have been buying kebab here regularly for a long time, I estimate a good 25 years! Were always very happy with the price/performance ratio. About 3 weeks ago we also picked up kebabs and were shocked at the size (it should have been Whit Monday). Ok, it could be that you had a bad day or something else. Today I got 3 kebabs again, the ones mentioned from Whit Monday. The quality was top, there's nothing wrong with it. Unfortunately, the big kebab has shrunk to a small kebab, and so the price/performance ratio is no longer right for us. I understand that everything is becoming more expensive and that there have to be price increases, but please not like that! We've had a few increases here in the last two years, and I've gone along with them all without complaining. But now for me the limit has definitely been reached. Actually, you should be full after a big kebab. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case here. So after many years, a kebab era is coming to an end for us. Maybe we'll test again at some point to see if the relationship is right again🤷‍♀️, but as it currently looks, I'm not willing to pay that price. Wish you all the best, this is the end for us.

The food is very tasty and technically perfect for the price. Here you get something for your money. In addition, the employees are very friendly and relaxed. The food comes to the table quickly even when there is a lot of activity. My family/friends really enjoy coming here and are always satisfied. I can only recommend the shop and thank you for their expertise.

Friendly and fast staff. Food is tasty, quality is okay. Price/performance is right. (Unfortunately, fries are of the very cheap variety.) There is enough seating. Interior is a bit old. Could be renovated.

Geiles Kebab. Die Eigentümer machen jetzt auch Pizza 🍕. Ich durfte probieren mir hat sie gut geschmeckt. Vorallem kann man beim Kebab wählen zwischen Kalb oder Hähnchenfleisch 👍👍

La comida en sí estaba bien. Pedí picada cordero al donante. El servicio era bueno, muchas mesas y espacio. Otros lugares kebabs en Saarbruecken son mejores, aunque.

Das essen ist gut bis sehr gut, das Personal stellenweise nur schwer zu verstehen,(in deutscher Sprache). Nur zum mitnehmen zu empfehlen, da in dem Restaurant ununterbrochen an Spielautomaten gespielt wird, was meiner Meinung nach kein genüssliches und entspanntes essen zulässt.
