Best kebab in Magdeburg! Please keep up the good quality and service. Tea could be a bit cheaper. Traditionally, it's small glasses from the samovar, with free wedges or a small donation. I always enjoy coming back here when I come to Magdeburg.

I've tried many kebab shops and sampled my way through Magdeburg, whether it was the typical shops like those on Werner-von-Siemens-Ring or the great kebab shop by the pond... Well, one of them gave out, and the other one came out liquid! I discovered Istanbul by chance and because it was open late, and since then, I've visited this shop and eaten there after every tinkering session at the harbor! It's super delicious, always fresh and crispy, and the service and staff are great!!! Istanbul's best shop, with the best manager! Highly recommend this shop; anyone who says otherwise has a bad taste in their mouth :)

I tried the place on the recommendation of a good friend and was very pleasantly surprised. The food selection was excellent, prices were super fair, and everything was incredibly delicious. All in all, I would definitely recommend it.

The kebab was incredibly delicious - definitely 5 stars! But a really big BUT: if you smoke, which isn't a bad thing!, you should wash your hands afterward! Unfortunately, the employee didn't do that. Next, though, I think it's a shame that only one pair of tongs is used for everything, whether meat or vegetables. At least you could use separate tongs for the meat and cucumber/tomatoes!

We've been getting food here for a year now, and so far, for me, it's the best in the city. The interior is also beautifully decorated, and it's quite pleasant to sit inside.

The bun is crispy! The salad is always fresh! The meat is good! Sounds pretty simple, but in many shops, at least one of these criteria is usually missing! The staff is friendly and speaks good German! All in all, a top kebab shop in Magdeburg! Keep up the good work!

My daughter and I were at the zoo in Magdeburg and then went to the Istanbul Grillhaus for dinner. When we arrived, the tables were just being wiped down and dried. We were greeted warmly and given two menus. My daughter chose a doner kebab box (meat and fries + sauce), which came on one plate. I opted for a Dürüm special with fries. My daughter was very happy with her meat and fries, and the quantity was perfectly fine. For my Dürüm special, I ordered garlic and hot sauce, as well as hot powder, and yes... it was spicy but unfortunately also sweet (I think there was also cocktail sauce on it). The bread didn't seem like Dürüm bread to me, but more like a tortilla wrap (it has a different consistency and is thicker). I can't say it was worse, though, just different. What was really unfortunate was the ratio of meat to salad. There really wasn't much meat in this special Dürüm. Even my daughter said, "I have a lot more in my box than you, Dad." All in all, the meal was okay, despite everything: good standard meat, fresh salad, and crispy fries. We had two Cokes and two Ayran with our meal. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures. I know it's the case almost everywhere that you get offered a tea after you've paid, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case here.

The food was delicious! We had a plate of lamb with vegetables and rice. It was delicious. The beef was very tender and chewed well. We had one serving for two and were full. But for a hungry man you need to take a whole serving. My friends who had other dishes were also happy with the taste of the food. Just don't take the apple tea - it's complete chemistry 🧪 Overall, I highly recommend it! It was a real treat! We had a meal with food and drink and we had to eat it. It was a real treat. We had a portion for two people and we had to eat it. Aber für einen hungrigen Mann muss man eine ganze Portion nehmen. Meine Freunde, die andere Gerichte genommen haben, waren auch zufrieden mit dem Geschmack des Essens. Nur den Apfeltee sollte man nicht nehmen - der ist voller Chemie 🧪. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen!

The first time, I ordered a box with just meat and red hot sauce – I got a box with meat, fries, and white, non-spicy sauce. I thought to myself: an honest mistake, it can happen. The second time, I again ordered a box with just meat and red hot sauce – what I got was a box with meat, salad, and again that white, non-spicy sauce. Maybe it was me, maybe I wasn't clear enough. A third time, I ordered as clearly and explicitly as possible: a box with just meat and red hot sauce. And what did I get? A box with meat, fries – and again that white sauce, which I absolutely can't stand. My conclusion: They simply have too many customers. They obviously don't want me to spend my money here. I should probably find another place.

I went for the first time today. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by friendly staff. The employees are very good and friendly. Our order arrived quickly. Portions are big and it comes full. The vegetables are fresh, the environment and tables are clean. You can go with your family. It was so delicious 💗

I went there for the first time through a recommendation from a friend and what can I say: Friendly service, smiling faces, the boss himself welcomes you into his shop. Each one was dealt with quickly one by one, but quickly and neatly. And in the end the food was simply delicious, very, very good portion (7. Large kebab plate with fries) In summary, I can now say it is the best shop in Magdeburg and you also have the option of paying with an EC card or credit card.

Once again very disappointed. The food is always tasty, but today the wrong dish was given when ordering over the phone and too much was charged. We ordered a pasta casserole with kebab meat and we received a pasta casserole with broccoli. According to the map (uploaded 3 weeks ago) the order should have cost just under €30, my girlfriend was supposed to pay €34.50. There was even a tip of €2.50. It's a shame that you can't even place a simple telephone order with 4 dishes.

Every time I pass the store I have to think. If I don't get something. Even if I'm not hungry. The store is simply great! Salads are fresh, the fries are perfectly salted and crispy. The sauces are awesome. And the meat is great too. And the employees are warm and super friendly.

Food was freshly prepared and, as my son assured me, the best Dürüm he had ever eaten. We had pide... the dough was super fluffy and fresh. We shared the baklava for dessert... which was a first for me... also very tasty.

We had a delicious lunch here at Istanbul Grillhaus in Magdeburg. So good that it's worth a review. A kebab and a kebab box were eaten. All ingredients were fresh and prepared in front of us. Special requests will be responded to in a friendly manner. Meat is crispy and juicy at the same time. There is a wide selection to add to salads: including white cabbage, red cabbage, iceberg lettuce, onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, leaf parsley, corn, grated carrots... and various sauces. Everything makes a clean and fresh impression. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Requests are taken into account. The food tasted GREAT! And in terms of ambience, there are good seating options both inside and outside. Overall we are very satisfied. Therefore, we absolutely recommend it. 👍👍

I'll never eat with you again. This is the second time I've had really bad stomach pains because of this kebab. To be honest, the health department should take a look at this. I don't have this problem at any other store.

I actually had a delicious kebab Dürüm. However, there is also a charcoal grill there. I think I'll try a dish from Grill next time. It's more in the direction of a Turkish restaurant/döner shop, although one is not mutually exclusive.

Has a very good Adana skewer with fantastic bulgur. Everything was very good, the bread with the tomato sauce with yogurt was very tasty and good. The baklava and apple tea were delicious and everything went quickly and efficiently.

I ordered a soup Kellepaca here and I really enjoyed it. I then ordered Pirzola for €22 and asked that the rice be tasty and fresh, unfortunately I have to give this food a poor rating. Rice and bulgur hardly tasted good. I thought that the Pirzola would save my stomach, unfortunately they were too small and had hardly any taste.

One of the best places to try out authentic Turkish cuisines. We often go here. The place has a nice ambiance. Staff is cool and good service. Food is always served fresh and without long waiting times Price is a bit on a higher side considering the city and average meal price here but you would expect that from a Turkish restaurant. Wings are the best dish i tried out here.
