Absolutely disgusting. 🤮 We were there with our children. The food is actually ok, although overpriced. There is little homemade e.g. the Ayran is not homemade. Neither does the bread. The vegetables didn't look very fresh. The lamb was quite tough and the lentil soup tasted burnt. But what really disappointed me and also speaks for the restaurant's lack of hygiene. After we finished the plates weren't cleared for 30 minutes. No employee came, I finally went in to pay. Our plates were now so infested with flies and wasps that even passers-by stopped and shook their heads. When I spoke to an employee he said we can't do anything about the flies, it's just how it is in summer. I would definitely recommend not going there. If you fancy Turkish cuisine, you will be disappointed.

First of all, I would like to say at this point that I have been visiting this restaurant every now and then for years and have always been satisfied. However, everything has changed since Corona: The restaurant has opened up extremely since Corona (which may have happened to every restaurant) but at the same time the QUALITY has DECREASE EXTREMELY + you get even less than before. The more precise details: Especially with the chicken dishes, it is the case on every second plate that the cook does not cook the meat properly! THIS IS NOT BEEF BUT CHICKEN MEAT and has to be 100% cooked!!! Finally remember that! i.e. every second customer is served chicken that is sometimes not properly fried (please check your plates because this can be dangerous!!!). - In the past, one or two spoons of yogurt were included on the plate, which he hasn't done since Corona. - There used to be delicious bread and since Corona there was either cheap, not tasty bread or NO BREAD - The waitress speaks German very poorly and others have to act as interpreters... - Service incompetent and unfriendly - Meze are already extremely expensive but since Corona you pay even more and get less than before, i.e. not even 2 full spoons of meze for more than €4.8 or let alone if you buy the "Üclü Meze" (three meze).. .Insolence!!! - Our plate had improperly fried chicken which was only noticed after 3-4 bites. Waiter informed - instead of taking it away, frying it or delivering a new plate, she first had to get the cook - who also saw that it wasn't cooked through - and then offered to put the already cut up meat from my plate on the grill (by me from ok - even if not hygienically perfect) - what comes back is a half-empty plate where my fries have mysteriously disappeared, there is no more yufka bread on my plate and instead there is salad on my plate that I never ordered. The worst thing, however, is that the meat was STILL not cooked through but rather the meat had been briefly heated on the grill. Why am I sure?: One person at our table had the same dish where the meat was cooked through and was used as a reference/comparison (even the chef saw this)!!! - Since Corona, the rice has just tasted bad + bland and has absolutely nothing to do with Turkish rice - After I asked for the bill, the host (who hadn't been involved up to that point) didn't want to believe me and even wanted to see the meat that was packaged. After everything, I have to draw a line in the sand here and will NEVER visit this restaurant AGAIN and will not recommend it to anyone because I had severe stomach pain in the evening/night because of the food. It's absolutely not okay to charge more for the dishes but at the same time save on everything and as if everything wasn't enough the quality is now unfortunately just very, very poor. The service is incompetent and doesn't understand the language to order properly + not exactly friendly. As long as that doesn't change, I don't recommend anyone eating there. Find a place where quality is still appreciated and the meat is cooked properly.

Nice meal, No alcohol is served

They do not serve alcohol but food is delicious!!!!! They have an outdoor sitting. Environment is really relaxing. At the end of your meal they provide a tee. Only cash.

It's a place I've been going to for years. I went there for the first time with my friends and they really liked it. We particularly recommend Beyti Kebab.

The food is ok, there is a lady serving, she never smiles, it's as if she throws the plate at your head while serving, the raw meatballs were very dry, the iskender meat was good but the bread was very hard, the lahmacun was good even though the oil and sauce spilled, I think the Istanbul restaurant needs to spruce itself up a bit, but thank you to the lady there.

I suggest you try Katmer legend. This taste is hard to find even in Antep. The employees are friendly.

The only accurate review is that of Hamdo! I understand the good reviews ZERO! Overpriced, bad food that insults the wonderful Turkish cuisine! I am in Turkey every few weeks for work and love this cuisine. When the boss asked “did it taste good?” and my detailed answer about the food, I received ONLY an “INTERESTING” answer. Very pathetic... We are definitely NOT coming back!

Our visit to the Istanbul Grill Restaurant was a hit! We had a kebab plate and two grill plates, and everything was delicious. The meat was tender and aromatic, the side dishes fresh and tasty. At the end we were even offered tea. A great restaurant with friendly service - highly recommended!

Das Essen war "eingedeutscht" und die Preise waren für Schweizer gemacht... Mezeplatte war sparsam belegt (15 €), unser Hauptgerichtsoptionen waren alle um die 25 € rum. Geschmacklich OK, aber haute mich nicht vom Hocker. Wenn ich das mit den türkischen Restaurants in Friedlingen vergleiche, dann liegen da Welten dazwischen.

Great authentic food. They do not serve alcohol, but have plenty of drinks available. Delicious food and service was wonderful , they do not speak English , but they did an effort to understand us, and we manage to communicate. Side note, they do not accept card payments but there is a atm literally next door. Huge outside seating and very comfortable chairs, we felt like home.

Waren gestern zum ersten mal. Soweit war alles super. Essen war gut, und lecker. 2 Kritikpunkte die man ändern könnte. Ketschup nicht auf die Pommes machen, nicht jeder mag es. Lieber auf die kleinen tütchen zurück greifen so kann der Gast selbst entscheiden. Eventuell darüber nachdenken, Kartenzahlung anbieten in der jetzigen Zeit sehr sinnvoll.

Während meiner Geschäftsreise durfte ich ein sehr gutes Geschmackserlebnis genießen, das es definitiv wert ist weiterempfohlen zu werden. Das freundliche Personal trug zu einer angenehmen Atmosphäre bei. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich die Vielfalt an köstlichen Grillgerichten, die in Kombination mit dem frischen "Acik Ayran" serviert wurden. Es ist bedauerlich, dass dieser kulinarische Genuss nicht in meiner Wohnortnähe ist.

Das Essen war lecker, wenn auch nicht etwas spezielles. Die eine Servierkraft hustete die ganze Zeit, auch als sie bei uns am Tisch war. Einmal hustete sie über Getränke von anderen Gästen. Die Kellner konnten KAUM deutsch..fragten andere Gäste, ob sie türkisch oder arabisch sprechen. Als wir dann mit Karte bezahlen wollten, sagten sie uns, das man nur bar bezahlen kann und wo die nächste Möglichkeit ist, Geld zu holen. Es ist eine Frechheit, die Gäste nicht zu informieren, dass man nur Bar bezahlen kann. Es war auch nichts angeschrieben. Als ich es dem Kellner gesagt habe , (war wohl der Chef), dass sie die Gäste darüber informieren müssen, lachte er und sagte "JAJA" Nie wieder.

Lors de notre voyage en Suisse, Allemagne et Autriche, nous avons passé quelques heures à Rheinfelden, ville allemande près des frontières de la France et de la Suisse. C'est ici que nous avons découvert ce restaurant de cuisine turque, pas très loin de notre hôtel. Pas très grand, aménagé comme le sont plusieurs établissements de ce type, propre, nous y avons pris le souper. Le personnel était courtois et le service a été bien fait par ceux qui nous sont semblés de toute évidence, les propriétaires. Comme nous apprécions cette cuisine, nous y avons fait bonne chère et l'addition a été en accord avec le niveau culinaire des lieux.

Das Essen schmeckt gut aber nichts aussergewöhnliches. Die Bedienung sehr schlecht, die Bestecke wurden vergessen und die leeren Teller standen lange auf dem Tisch obwohl den Kellner mehrmals vorbei gelaufen ist. Sie wollten keine Karten akzeptieren, nur Bar Geld! Was ich nicht verstanden habe beim zahlen ist, wieso den Kellner bei manchen Tischen hat den Taschenrechner dabei gehabt und die Kunden gefragt was Sie bestellt haben, gerechnet und das Geld kassiert .Bei mir ist mit der Rechnung gekommen.

Ganz okay, kann man machen. Nichts Aussergewöhnliches. Personal freundlich und auf Hygiene wird auch geachtet soviel ich sehen konnte

Menü und Sauberkeit OK. Beide Fleischgerichte waren zu trocken. Das Trinken (laut Menü aus einer kleinen Flasche) wurde aus einer alte großen Flasche gegossen, ohne Gas, fast kein Aroma.

Immer sehr gutes Essen. Freundliches Personal. Auch Chef arbeitet mit es gibt türkischen Tee gratis. Gehen immer wieder gerne dort hin.

Frische, ausgezeichnete Ware, super Fleisch, lekkere Saucen, selbstgemachte türkische Nudeln in Yogurtsauce (toll!) und richtig verführerische Desserts (...bisschen süss!) Gesamtergebnis - toll! Komm gerne wieder!

Wir sind hier öfters zum Mittagessen ob Pizza Döner oder co. Das Essen ist in Ordnung aber auch nichts besonderes aber für einen Döner-Imbiss ok. Das gute an diesem Laden ist das man sich hinsetzen kann und bedient wird was eher selten für einen Imbiss ist. Das Personal ist ok aber leider immer oft im Stress zur Mittagszeit was eine nicht ganz so ruhige Atmosphäre in den Laden bringt.

obwohl wir bereits vorher schon zufrieden mit dem Imbiss waren nun eine schlechte Bewertung. Man kann den Laden als etwas gehobeneren Döner-Imbiss bezeichnen. Man wird am Tisch bedient und hat mehr als die Standardauswahl. Allerdings wird man seit neuestem als Deutscher dort ignoriert. Wir warteten sicherlich 20 Min auf die Bedienung. Rundherum Türken, die ihre Bestellungen aufgeben konnten, wir wurden nichtmals angeschaut. Ein Versehen kann das nicht gewesen sein.

Die in diesem Restaurant verwendeten Produkte sind unter jeder Sau. Billigstware, aber auch zu billigen Preisen. Wer keine Ahnung von Qualität hat ist hier richtig !

Es werden typische türkische Speisen wie Metze, Pide, Hähnchen, Döner usw. sowie türkische Getränke angeboten. Mir hats geschmeckt, die Preise sind in Ordnung. Einen etwas konfusen Eindruck machte der Wirt. Man sollte gegen Mittag bei einer Rechnung von 18,50 auf 50 Euro rausgeben können, ohne andere Gäste fragen zu müssen.

Wir waren schon öfters im Istanbul, auch weil man hier durchgängig warme Küche bekommt. Ich würde das Lokal jetzt nicht als Restaurant bezeichnen, eher als einen Imbiss mit vielen Sitzgelegenheiten. Das Ambiente finde ich aber angenehm. Die Speisekarte ist etwas speziell und entspricht sicher nicht derjenigen, welche man eben in einem Restaurant bekäme. Ich esse meistens einen Pide mit Spinat und finde diesen sehr schmackhaft. Auch die Bedienung war immer freundlich zu uns. Ich denke es kommt sehr auf die Erwartung an mit der man dieses Lokal besucht. Möchte man einfach zwischendurch mal ein leckeres türkisches Gericht essen, dann ist man sicherlich nicht verkehrt im Istanbul. Man sollte allerdings nicht die gleichen Erwartungen mitbringen, wie bei einem Restaurantbesuch.

Das Essen war ultra schwach und zudem mussten wir dem Kellner drei Mal sagen, was wir genau wollten. Danach kam es immer noch nicht. Erst bei erneuten nachfragen kam die Vorspeise. Die Hauptspeisen kamen Zeitverschoben, sprich während ich mein Essen bereits erhielt, musste meine Partnerin noch 10min. warten. Die Fleischplatte war ungeniessbar und das Essen hatte Dinge drin, die ich nicht beziffern konnte. Die Bedienung wusste auch nicht viel damit anzufangen. Nie wieder in das Fastfood Restaurant gehen, welches Leider den schönen Namen Istanbul trägt.
