I just witnessed what I consider a serious violation of health guidelines. A doner kebab skewer, complete with foil, was placed in its usual place on the gas burner of a doner kebab grill. The foil was charred, melted, and burned by the burner. This releases harmful substances, especially those that have no place in the food. I would like to point out here that many young people gather there at night after partying and consume this food. Burnt plastic can lead to many different illnesses and is at least carcinogenic. I urge you to investigate this.

Worst kebab restaurant in all of Baden-Württemberg Yesterday I was at the Isswas restaurant in Tübingen and ate a kebab box with French fries. However, the food was abysmal, just like the entire restaurant. Colloquially, you'd call it rotten meat. The fries weren't cooked all the way through, and the meat was really disgusting, greasy, tasteless, and therefore basically inedible. Late in the evening, thanks to this disgusting food, I had severe stomach cramps and diarrhea. On top of that, the staff there handles all the food with their bare hands. All in all, I've never experienced such a dirty restaurant in my entire life, where you're served abysmal food. This really is a case for the health department and food inspectors.

The place has been declining significantly lately. I go there twice a week, and I have to say that the amount of stuff in the kebabs is getting smaller and smaller. There's very little meat, even the salad is skimped on, and the flatbread is sometimes half-empty. I'm wondering why I still go there. I'll go somewhere else instead. Because it wasn't an isolated incident.

I've been here many times and have always been satisfied. It's very convenient that it's open until 3 a.m. Service is always fast, even when it's busy. The last four times, however, have been pretty subpar, even though it's been quiet each time. Once, I had fries that were cooked way too short (more like mashed potatoes), and twice, I had chicken kebabs that didn't have a chicken skewer on them (I didn't want chicken either, and they never asked), and sometimes they weren't even cooked all the way through. Normally, always fast service, nice people, and pretty good kebabs, but lately I've been disappointed too often.

Warning: If you're not drunk, don't buy a kebab. What the hell is that? The meat tastes like dog food, the vegetables are fresh from the organic waste, and the hands that prepare it have just picked their noses.

No prices for drinks are comprehensible!

Amazing döner, pide, pizza and more. The service is perfect. The atmosphere is wonderful, just underneath the wall of the old city.

Went there for pizza. It was exceptionally good! The crust was blistered, the inside was airy, and the inside was crispy. The toppings were just right. I can't comment on the kebab or anything else there, but the pizza was more in the Italian restaurant range.

Doner pizza had no flavor and the dough wasn't cooked through. So you could say it's almost raw. In addition, my friend's kebab had a very unpleasant smell. Drinks were good.

The Atzen are solely responsible for my existence. Without them I would have starved to death long ago or even worse. The most tasty thing is the pide spinach cheese. Best place to eat something dishonorably at night. So hot. We were even the last customers in this honorable establishment.

I can only agree with the other reviews. The meat was not of good quality. After 2 hours the diarrhea started.

You can always get a good kebab, yufka, falafel yufka or a good margarita there. For me the best kebab shop in the city center.

Yesterday I ate there for the first time, and I definitely could have done without it. The taste was abysmal; the bread tasted like it was from the day before, and the meat was even worse than at Aksaray or Istanbul Döner in Tübingen. I had to throw more than half of it in the trash. About an hour after eating, I started getting terrible stomach cramps and diarrhea. Avoid this place if you want to avoid food poisoning.

I actually had fond memories of this kebab, but on my last visit, it was unusually bad. The meat was no longer of the same quality, and I didn't like the sauce either. Overall, the kebab has deteriorated considerably, which may be due to the new, lower price.

Yet another kebab shop where the meat isn't cut right before consumption. Even worse, however, is that the pre-cut meat doesn't end up in a collecting tray, but rather on the housing of the device that powers the kebab skewer. Unfortunately, I noticed this too late, otherwise I would have canceled my order. Since we have a business relationship (with witnesses), this review remains as it is.

Unexpectedly good pide, pizza and fries are okay, the rest is forgettable.

My friend and I have gotten kebab here twice now. Both times others were served before us and when we said something we were noticed. And yesterday they wanted us to pay twice too. I don't know why that is, but my friend only speaks English and so they thought they could treat us like that? So we don't go there anymore - there are really better kebabs in Tübingen!

Everything is awesome. The food is great, the meat is juicy and everything is fresh and the service is also great. Highly recommended!

Pizza love 🍕 Always a lot of cheese on it and always feels open

It's always been good so far. Now, however, when ordering a sliced ​​meat kebab, a cheap leftover kebab was sold, which was filled with a mishmash of old chicken, some normal kebab meat and wilted lettuce. The Yufka was also very small for the price...very annoying

Unfortunately I'm very disappointed, I go in and order a kebab pizza to take with me and it wasn't tasty, a kebab pizza only had dough and cheese and was almost without meat😶

The only reason the shop survives is because it stays open later at night than the other kebab shops. The food is a disgrace, kebab sauce only tastes like yoghurt, falafel are not crispy, Yufka consists of 99% lettuce and the pizza also tends to give you diarrhea. As long as anything else is still open, I would avoid this store.

Had dinner with my family today.. Mega delicious kebab and pita. The bread is homemade... Chicken was juicy and crispy... Simply great... Also very friendly and helpful. Top top. I would love to come here again and again... If I were to improve something and that would be amazing... Grilled vegetables like peppers etc for €1 more... That would be amazing. But it doesn't necessarily have to be.

Best pide ever, pizza very good too! Actually everything tastes great! Service is super friendly and always very quick despite the large number of customers.

Went here for lunch with children. Very nice staff, very great atmosphere and we personally enjoyed the food very much. We ordered a kebab plate and a kebab box for the children and everyone was very happy with the food.

Although the food was okay, after the unfriendly staff it only tasted half as good, I won't be coming back just because of the service!

Strong service. Fulfilled my order quickly and efficiently with lots of sauce. Even asked if I wanted it spicy. Yummy!

You want a bad kebab? Then you have come to the right place

Unfortunately I was disappointed. The pizza wasn't tasty. The rubber fell off every time. You have to eat the toppings by hand. I ate dough without the topping. Pizza wasn't even done. Doner kebab looks delicious, but the meat is cheap. Very good location. Please change your products. Quality is in great need of improvement. It only works here because the snack bar is open until 3 a.m. When you're drunk, everything tastes good. I was sober, I true without words. Here is a photo of my pizza. I wouldn't recommend this kebab shop. Better go somewhere else.

MMn the best kebab I've tried in Germany. I live in Berlin and have already tried out a few kebab stalls there (yes, also “Kebab with Attitude”), and honestly no one can come close to IssWas. The homemade bread, the homemade yogurt garlic sauce and the meat always taste fresh and really delicious. I wish you would expand to Berlin as a chain.

It's centrally located and doesn't look too bad. But the staff is unusable and prices are similar to those in a restaurant. Quality works like that

The kebab is ok, I didn't like the sauce that much, too sour in my opinion. The kebab box is good. Most customers come here at night anyway, after drinking one or two drinks 🙃😉 You can sit well in the back, it's designed quite well, and above all, it's extremely warm, which is a welcome thing, especially on cold days.

The kebab box is not seasoned with normal salt or with French fries salt. The Yufka is primarily a salad and tastes like nothing. Unfortunately, it simply tastes tasteless and loveless.

Also open late at night to feed drunk people like me. Very good.

Döner war gut, allerdings für den Preis etwas klein. Aber ansonsten alles top!

Nach einer längeren Nacht im schwarzen 🐑 genau das Richtige. Tagsüber und ohne leichten Pegel kann man genauso gut ein Stück weiter die Straße runter laufen und bekommt einen minimal besseren Döner zum günstigeren Preis. Wer satt werden will macht nichts falsch, wer einen wirklich leckeren Döner möchte sollte sich eventuell Richtung Lustnau orientieren.

Etwas teuer aber viel und saettigendes Essen

Wer abends noch in Tübingen unterwegs ist kann auf jeden Fall dorthin. Der Döner schmeckt hier immer gut und ist auch gut gefüllt. Die Mitarbeiter und der Inhaber sind unglaublich freundliche Leute und bedienen einen nach den Wünschen der Kunden. Alles Top!

Freundlichkeit lässt manchmal etwas zu wünschen übrig. Qualitativ in Ordnung und sauber. Geschmacklich gibt es bessere Läden in Tübingen, aber die langen Öffnungszeiten sind top. Besonders nach dem Feiern

Auch hier ab einer abendlichen Uhrzeit gibt es kein Scheibenfleischdöner. Da ich kein Hackfleischdöner mehr esse ist leider der Laden nur fürs Pizza holen geeignet. Die wiederum ist ok, Pizzateig ist kross aber nicht eingebrannt und schnell zubereitet. Käse ist ok. Personal scherzhaft freundlich.

Veganer Döner war kein veganer Döner, sondern eine Salattasche. Ich kam mir ein wenig veräppelt vor. Geschmacklich fand ich die Salattasche auch nicht so gut.

Das Essen ist okay aber der Personal ist sehr sympathisch.

Not the best Döner in Tübingen but the staff is very friendly. They also have other stuff like pide which is nice. I also particularly like that it is one of the few restaurants that opens late at night. There are usually a lot of students past midnight there eating after partying.

Der go to Dönerladen wenn man nachts betrunken am Verhungern ist. Tagsüber gibt's besseres. Die Pide ist gut, Döner okay, Pommes würd ich nicht nehmen.

Einer der besten Döner die Tübingen zu bieten hat!!! Ich kann diesen Laden bestens empfehlen! Auch das Personal ist sehr freundlich, neulich habe ich sogar bei einem größeren Betrag ein wenig Rabatt bekommen!!! TOP!!!!

Der Döner war trocken .Das Fleisch war trocken ,alles in einem einfach…schlecht geschichtet…

Hat halt einfach unglaublich lange auf, dafür ist die Qualität auch so lala, Pizza und Pide sind Durchschnitt, der Döner unterdurchschnittlich. Nach dem Rausch oder währenddessen genießbar bis gut, nüchtern nur wenn's unbedingt sein muss. Die Jungs sind angesichts der 24/7 Öffnungszeiten dennoch nett!

Für mich der beste Döner in Tübingen. Ist immer lecker, preiswert und gut. Außerdem ist ein großes Plus, dass man auch echt spät noch einen Döner bekommt. Einziges Minus ist, dass man in 2022 immer noch nicht mit Karte zahlen kann...

kommt so gefährlich wenn man nachm suff malwieder was zu essen braucht

Der Laden ist sehr sauber und man hat recht viele Sitzplätze im Restaurant. Das Essen hingegen war dafür leider nur eher durchschnittlich. Ich habe mir einen Döner bestellt und einen Lahmacun. Das Fleisch war okay, aber die Soße war nicht wirklich meins. Es hatte mehr die Konsistenz von Magerquark, als die Konsistenz einer Soße. Außerdem war sie ungewöhnlich sauer und man hatte ein komisches Gefühl im Mund. Ich hab schon viele Döner probiert, aber dieser war es nicht. Das Gute an diesem Dönerladen ist aber, dass er bis 3 Uhr morgens offen hat und sich dementsprechend perfekt als “Suffdöner” eignet. Ansonsten würde ich da nicht nochmal hingehen.

Im Suff schmeckt der Yuffi doppelt so gut. Nüchtern war die Pide auch fantastisch. Ehrenmann hat auch nach Ladenschluss noch Döner gemacht.

Leckeres Essen, schnelle Bedienung, nettes Personal

Das Personal ist immer sehr freundlich und schnell. Essen schmeckt gut für den Preis und es gibt nichts auszusetzen. Die Öffnungszeiten sind super wenn man spart noch was zum essen braucht.
