Ambiente Top, Essen also zumindest die Pizza kannst vergessen, Essbar aber mehr auch nicht , Ultra breiter Rand , und der Teig ist aus Knete, jeder Italiener würde ihm die Ohren langziehen, für so ein Ergebnis, aber alles andere passt von der Anlage her Superschön, Sommer wie Winter, toll zum Innen und draußen sitzen ! 👍

Essen war mittelmäßig, Preise der Speisen eher am oberen Rand angesiedelt. 3x Bier 2 x Wasser 2 Pizza mit Tip 60,00 Euro

Wartezeit war ok. Vom Bier gab es nur Helles, kein Dunkles und auch kein Pils. Die Bedingung schenkte einem das Getränk nicht ein - üblicherweise wird wenigstens das erste Glas dem Gast gefüllt. Das Essen war schon ok, obwohl der Pizzateig etwas besser gebacken hätte sein können und die Suppe ist einfach aus der Dose- werden auch schön präsentiert. Dei Bedienung wusste auch nicht Bescheid zu den Gerichten. Sauberkeit lässt zu wünschen übrig - dicker Staub im oberen Bereich der einen in den Teller reinfallen könnte!.

Heute war ich zum zweiten Mal hier. Leider war mein bestelltes Essen Pasta aus dem Parmesanlaib nicht wie in der Karte beschrieben mit Trüffelveloute und auch nicht aus dem Parmesanlaib am Tisch zubereitet - wie sonst woanders üblich. Auch geschmacklich war es für mich nicht zu genießen, sodass ich das Essen zurückgab. Alternativ wählte ich das Tagesmenü. Dieses schmeckte gut. Beim Bezahlen fiel mir leider erst zu spät auf, dass die Pasta abgerechnet wurde und nicht das um 4 Euro günstigere Tagesmenü. Auf Nachfrage erwiderte der Kellner "Das ist so"! Damit hat sich dieses Restaurant für mich erledigt und bekommt auch sicher keine Weiterempfehlungen.

Eine tolle, unerwartete Entdeckung! Die Atmosphäre ist herrlich. Besonders schön im Sommer mit den Sitzplätzen im Freien am Wasser. Der Service war hervorragend. Sehr gutes Essen und Kaffee. Angemessene Preise. Absolut einen Besuch wert!

Sehr gute Kürbissuppe Leckere Pizzen und Bruschetta

Nettes Restaurant mit einer einmaligen schönen Insellage. Seit Neuestem wird italienisch gekocht. Durch die neue Beleuchtung und Möbel wirkt die Einrichtung moderner aber trotzdem sehr gemütlich. Die Kaffespezialitäten sind preislich eher gehoben im Vergleich zur Konkurrenz vor Ort. Das Restaurant wird sich auch deswegen ( Puglia&Paparazzo Restaurants in der Nähe)behaupten müssen. Wir sind auf die demnächst bestellbare Pizza gespannt, um mit den beiden anderen Lokalen vergleichen zu können.

Ich kann nur sagen 5 sterne✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️ So ein Restaurant mit sehr leckere Essen habe ich nicht sehr lange Zeit gefunden und erleben. Das Ambient am kleines See ist wunderschön. Das essen war mega lecker und so ein gutes Steak und so schön serviert hab ich noch nicht geggesen. Du kannst nehmen Spagetti,Rosmarinkartoffel oder Pomes dazu. Wir haben noch Pizzabrot und Salat dazu bestellt so wie mega leckeres Tiramisu und Kafe war von Haus was war sehr schön. Ich habe gemerkt auch da war Lieferdienst und Chef denke ich hat getränke auch bezahlt für Mitarbeiter,ich finde sehr schön wenn Mann sieht und fragt jemand ob will was drinken besonderes jemand wer fleißig arbeiten. Kellner war super freundlich und ganze ambient finde ich mit Gefühl wie zu Hause mit sehr leckere essen. Nur so weiter,wir kommen wieder gerne. Dankeschön🙂

Schade!wir waren mit 10 Leuten dort zum Klassentreffen, schon bei der Reservierung wurde gesagt, dass wir erst um 18 Uhr kommen können, da bereits um 17 Uhr schon eine größere Gruppe kommt und wir sonst warten müssten. Als wir ankamen waren nur noch 6 andere Gäste im Lokal, nix größere Gruppe. Das Essen war Ok, aber nicht überragend. Um 20.30 wurden wir gebeten unsere letzte Bestellung auzugeben und um 21 Uhr wurden wir abkassiert. Wir wären gerne noch länger geblieben. Übrigens waren wir um 20 Uhr nur noch die einzigen Gäste! Scheinbar hat das Perdonal keine Lust Geld zu verdienen! Uns sehen die Jedenfalls nicht wieder!!

Wir haben gestern 8 Pizzen und einen Salat über Lieferando bestellt. Der Lieferando-Fahrer hatte den Salat leider vergessen. Nachdem ich direkt im Restaurant angerufen habe, wurde mir sofort geholfen: Der Herr am Telefon hat den Salat persönlich vorbeigebracht – super schnell und sehr freundlich! Fehler können passieren, aber die Lösung war wirklich top. Außerdem hat das Essen hervorragend geschmeckt. Vielen Dank! 🙏🍕🥗

I had lunch with my husband on Sunday. Unfortunately the restaurant doesn't open until 12 noon, even on Sundays. We would have liked to have had something to drink beforehand, as the location by the lake and on the terrace is beautiful. We were the first guests and were hardly greeted. It seemed like the service staff didn't enjoy their job. No friendly customer contact, no active sales. Lots of reserved signs on the tables, and the number of guests was manageable. We were there from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. I wanted to order a ham/champignon pizza. Unfortunately, they had sold out of mushrooms. When we asked further, we were told that there were 900 guests there yesterday. The food - we had vitello tonnato and Caesar salad as a starter and pizza as a main course - was very good and the portions were generous. The prices were reasonable.

A beautifully situated restaurant directly on the Valzner Weiher lake – the view alone is a highlight! The Italian cuisine is outstanding: fresh ingredients, homemade pasta, and pizza just like in Italy. I was particularly impressed by the warm hospitality – you immediately feel welcome. The wine selection also perfectly complements the dishes. Ideal for a relaxing evening by the water with authentic Italian flair. Highly recommended!

The ambiance is beautiful. Right by the pond. Parking is available directly at the restaurant. Parking costs are covered by the restaurant operator. The food was okay but nothing special. Too much dressing on the salad for my taste. It was almost drowned. The service was friendly and attentive. The prices are rather high. All in all, a lovely evening in a wonderful setting.

Despite their opening hours until 10 p.m., we were asked to leave shortly before 9 p.m., with the argument that they also wanted to go home.

Highly recommended! Upscale, authentic Italian cuisine in a beautiful setting! We'll definitely be back!

Beautiful restaurant, great location, the staff were quick, helpful, and humorous. The food was extremely delicious. I had a medium-rare steak with vegetables. I ate it all, and I didn't regret it. It was so delicious. The atmosphere was cozy, pleasant, and relaxed. I also ordered dessert, including lava cake and ice cream. I felt a bit nauseous at the end, but it couldn't have been the food. It was probably the warm and then suddenly cold dessert that accompanied the thick piece of steak. Wonderful ambiance. Highly recommended.

We were unfortunately very disappointed. We weren't allowed to choose the seats by the water. No explanation was given; presumably the waiters didn't want to walk any further than necessary, so we sat outside but close to the restaurant entrance like all the other guests. Our children would have enjoyed sitting by the water. The waiter seemed unfriendly, and my wife unfortunately got spilled when the dishes were brought. Our three children each had a pizza (unfortunately, they don't offer children's sizes). Of course, there were quite a few leftovers. We asked if the rest could be packed up. The waiter had to think about it for a while and hesitantly replied yes. When we got the bill, we were surprised to find that we were charged an extra €0.50 for each pizza box. This may sound petty, but we're not. We were unfortunately disappointed from start to finish and can therefore only give it 2 stars with the best of intentions.

A new owner and an old name. The name always promised the best cuisine. Back then. Now pizza dominates the menu. I had one of the few dishes that was apparently carried over from the old menu, albeit modified: pork loin. Three, I repeat, three lonely pieces of meat accompanied by five potato halves. It couldn't even pass for a child's portion. The taste wasn't an experience, just average. I always enjoyed going there, despite the higher prices. That was back then. A shame.

The visit was a complete success – the location is beautiful (I sat on the island terrace), the service was very polite...and the food was delicious! The salad with goat cheese and caramelized walnuts, as well as my Bresaola pizza, were simply delicious!

Valzner Weiher: Delicious food, large terrace – but please don't feed the ducks! A true place of enjoyment: We were here for the second time. Back then, we enjoyed the delicate spaghetti from a Parmesan wheel with truffle, a poem! Today: Gnocchi pan delicious, light, and filling; the Caesar salad so fresh and crispy, sumptuous with roasted chicken and crispy bacon, as well as croutons and baguette slices. The non-alcoholic Hugo? A drink that tastes like vacation. 🌿🍹 The staff was very attentive, the terrace huge – including a view of the greenery and the water, perfect for unwinding! But: At the next table, someone wanted to distribute their bread to the ducks. People, please! It's a good thing their friend stopped them. Bread can really harm birds – no joke. 👉 Suggestion for the restaurant: A friendly sign, e.g. E.g.: > "Only love for our ducks – no bread. Thank you! 🦆💔" Or a little more directly: > "Bread for ducks? Better not – otherwise, not only the feathers will flutter, but also the fines!" 🌟 Conclusion: Great food, fine atmosphere – and with an anti-bread-for-ducks sign, it would be perfect. Anytime again!

Very nice restaurant, excellent location with pleasant atmosphere and the stuff was so friendly. I had the best pizza ever, fresh ingeidians and the dough was really tasty. I highly recommend!

We visited the island restaurant on Thursday for the first time in a long time, and for the first time under the new owner. We had a delicious pizza, and the service was very friendly and attentive. The terrace was, and of course, still is, world-class; we'll be back.

Holiday feeling guaranteed! Wonderful location right on the pond. Ducks (now in June) swim by with their chicks as you take a seat on the lovely terrace. Lush greenery of our beautiful Reichswald forest is everywhere. As soon as you sit down, stress and baggage melt away, and you immediately begin to relax. Now, let's study the menu... mmm... ahhh... ohhhh... I'll take... no, I'd rather have you... or maybe 🤔 a decision has to be made! You'll see which one in the photos 😉 Then comes the plate... a true feast for the eyes 🤩 And now it tastes sooooo good! A quick sip of wine (my favorite Italian, LUGANA) afterward... fantastic! 👌🏻 Phew... full (and that's just from the appetizer)! But at 28 degrees, I guess I can still treat myself to an iced coffee, right? My conclusion: this wasn't my last time here! 😊

I was here on a Sunday evening; the food was delicious, and the portion sizes were very fair. I highly recommend it.

We had roast beef. It was served on a hot stone. It was good, but the heat from the stone meant it cooked through very quickly. Service was a bit slow. We had to wait over 15 minutes before anyone even asked what we were drinking. And the table didn't clear away for a long time after we finished eating. Probably because they were understaffed.

Like many others, we went here for a meal with our mother-in-law today for Mother's Day. We were seated after they were able to somehow match our reservation. We got the menus and then sat on dry land for ages before we were finally allowed to order after about 20 minutes. My starter came before the drinks 🤔. There was bruschetta, which was ok. However, for me it is appropriate for Italian cuisine that vinegar and oil are always at the table. This was also available upon request. Drinks weren't chilled, the beer was, but my rhubarb spritzer was warm. Reordering drinks turned out to be a challenge. The staff ran through the ranks completely inattentive, overwhelmed and absolutely inefficient. The service a straight 6 in school grades. The food was so average, pizza came too cool, some of the mozzarella wasn't melted properly, the base was very bulky, taste wise - that's okay. We didn't have dessert and weren't asked about it or whether we would like to have an espresso or coffee after the meal. As I said, the staff was hopelessly overwhelmed and unstructured. We also waited forever for the bill. At the neighboring table, a chair was simply removed to block a door, without asking the guests at the table whether anyone else might be joining them. Important in this context, there were unoccupied tables with chairs, but you took one of an occupied table 🙄🙈 The staff didn't even notice that guests sat down and left without placing an order because it took too long. Simply bad. The location itself by the pond is really great, you probably rest there and have the house full because of that alone, but the service and food are not worth going there. Too bad.

The Caesar salad was littered with croutons and completely missing the parmesan cheese. The pizza was only half baked, in technical jargon this is called “with a lot of polish”.

The restaurant has really developed for the better. Terrace 👍👍 Food very good as well as the service. The atmosphere has always been very appealing. Pizza is a matter of taste, the edge is too thick for me 🤷🏻‍♂️

Terrible and unfriendly service! We waited 15 minutes at a dirty table while the staff cleaned the next table right after those guests left—but they ignored ours completely. No one came to take our order. I couldn't help but feel like we were being treated differently, possibly due to racism. I would definitely not recommend this place or come back again

You have to eat the pizzas, they are a dream

We found out today that there are new tenants in the island restaurant and we are really happy. Delicious Neapolitan pizza and great pasta. The loin was also of a very high standard and beautifully prepared. We'll definitely be back soon. It was very convenient that it was open all day, so we could go there with the children early in the evening

Super! Aside from the beautifully idyllic location, the food is also very good, great salad dressing and the pizza is nice and crispy. Particularly noteworthy was Ozim's truly exceptional attentiveness: my husband and I like to order extra garlic with the pizza. In 99% of cases, however, this is forgotten immediately after ordering or simply not carried out. Ozim, on the other hand, noticed while serving (!) that the order had not been implemented and took the plates with him again. This has actually never happened to us, we usually had to complain. Price-performance is completely fine, I can't understand the reviews of some guests here. It's also really cozy inside, and there's plenty of parking outside. We'd be happy to come back any time we're in Nuremberg!

Cozy place in the middle of a lake in a suggestive environment. Very surprised, the food is purely Italian. Overall, for what we ate, decent. Clean and functional toilet, but I don't think I'll return. I'll publish the new menu.

The restaurant offers Italian dishes, whether pasta or pizza, that unfortunately don't justify the price in terms of taste and craftsmanship. The service is very friendly and helpful. Many years ago, this restaurant served good, upscale German cuisine.

Very tasty food, but no cake in the afternoon. Service wasn't good, you weren't noticed, you had to take care of it and report it yourself and even then you had to wait a long time. Capacity utilization is not an argument.

After the change of tenant, you can enjoy delicious Italian cuisine here. The service is very friendly with reasonable prices that completely match the rest of the restaurant. A real feel-good place where you'll be happy to come back again.

This was our first time here with friends. Overall the food was good, but my calzone didn't contain much ham, which was a shame. What we also noticed was that the waiter only came to the table when asked. It's a shame, a little more service would have been great. Despite everything, we will come back again.

It said open until 10 p.m. online and on the door. At 8:50 p.m. we were no longer allowed in without explanation. We would have accepted a justification, but it wasn't okay that way.

The food was delivered very quickly, and tasted very fresh. Our pizzas had a very thin and fluffy bottom. They gave me the wrong drink by accident but gave the right one for free. Very good and friendly service. Highly recommend.

really nice location with very nice and courteous service. Pizza and pasta dishes (Italian cuisine) were very good and plentiful. Also absolutely within the price range. And the location right on the Valznerweiher is almost like a picture book. There are also some parking spaces available. However, for understandable reasons (proximity to the Max Morlock Stadium), these are subject to a fee. However, you can easily have the parking ticket validated in the restaurant, so you don't have to pay the parking fee when you visit the restaurant.

Today we were at the Insel Restaurant again for a long time. Unfortunately, we don't find the ambience to match the culinary offerings. More than 45 minutes passed between serving and the next contact with the waiter. At this point the maximum capacity was 20%.

Been there again after at least 20 years. Finally open regularly again. Picturesque location of the restaurant. Casual, chic atmosphere, partially renovated. The waiter was super on point with relaxed sayings and very accommodating. Starters, pizza and pasta absolutely great and prepared with passion. Conclusion: successful evening, price performance 100% okay. I found a new regular Italian restaurant and I now come to eat regularly.

Insanely good pizza bread, antipasti that was super tasty, and the real, real carbonara was awesome. The staff is extremely trained and friendly without being intrusive. The atmosphere is very nice and super cozy. I would call the style rustic modern. Everything just fits together. You really feel at home here. If we didn't have to drive 500 km we would come regularly. But if we're in the area again we'll 100% come back
