It doesn't sound like much at first, but it will knock your socks off! It simply tastes incredibly good, a really legendary taste that goes with everything. Meat, bread, salad – everything harmonizes perfectly. So, if you want a really good kebab where everything is just right, then go to Iskender Döner. Bring your people and enjoy the best kebab experience ever!

Iskender kebab... Unfortunately a bit disappointing. There were a few problems when we ordered, which meant that we ended up receiving something completely different than what we had ordered. Unfortunately, the quality of the food didn't allow us to overlook the service. The meat was extremely fatty and contained pieces of cartilage. The ingredients on the kebab were also quite sparse: only iceberg lettuce, onions and tomatoes were present. I would definitely have liked more variety and freshness. The seating area was nice and the toilets were clean.

You were allowed to use the toilet but the meat was too dry.

Friendly staff however the meat was quite dry and cold. The “Tzaziki” also only tasted like unseasoned quark.

Unfortunately, today was the last time I bought a kebab there. It used to be the best kebab in Bayreuth, but unfortunately it has declined significantly. The flatbread is freshly baked and the accompanying salads and sauces are fresh, but the kebab meat is just something to get rid of. After receiving meat from two kebab skewers several times, it was a disaster this afternoon. I ordered a kebab at 12 o'clock and I got the meat from the day before. I understand that the meat from the day before has to be used up, but it's not possible that I have to pay the full price of €6 for it!! If you put the kebab from the previous day completely on the bread, you should at least sell the kebab at half price in fairness. Today's kebab was so dry and grilled. Sorry guys, but that's how you can completely alienate your regular customers. For me it was It's definitely that now. I'll never enter the store again. For €6 I can get a fresh kebab with fresh grilled meat all over Bayreuth at lunchtime at 12:00 and not the grilled one from the lecture.

It always depends on who is there at the time. Occasionally an unbearably arrogant employee works there. He destroys a lot of what the rest of the team is building. But I don't go there anymore because I'm also unsure whether they even want to see me or whether they like me the most... since I'm a German Christian (not religious).

We ate doner, Adana kebab and baklava, it was delicious. I would recommend it to everyone. There is free parking for 4 cars. It's like self service. There are tables where you can sit both inside and outside.

I used to go there very often to get something to eat. The taste of the kebab is great, but the service is now terribly bad. Had the last one!!! Visitors had the kebabs placed on the counter and were coldly told "here's the foil pack yourself"... Sorry but that was definitely it for me in the store!! It's a shame that "Old Iskender", who built the shop back then and started small next to "Hertie", is no longer there.

The kebab itself is amazing, the second best I ate in my whole life. we tried the Adana the last time I was there, but it wasn't nice as the kebab.

Unfortunately, with an xxl kebab there is only a slightly larger bread, but you have to look for the meat in the same way as with the normal kebab. Hardly any meat left on the kebab. It's a real shame, it used to be my favorite kebab in Bayreuth.

To my knowledge the only kebab in Bayreuth with real meat (not minced meat skewers). Also homemade bread/pide/Turkish pizza. Also have a charcoal grill for meat kebabs

Only the kebab from Iskender from my childhood tastes this good! After 10 years it was a real celebration today that this kebab is still so good! Meat is a dream, sauce complements it perfectly. The rest feels like it has diminished. Ambience is beyond disappointing and the selection of salads is sad. At least the employees are (very) friendly, but not courteous. All in all: as a child from Bayreuth, I'm happy that this kebab is still as high quality as it was 10 years ago!

Kebab of the highest quality, the owner prepares the meat himself, bakes the rolls himself, and makes his own sauces. I 100% recommend this inconspicuous booth. !!!!!!!

Rip off!! I really often get food and it usually costs €50-60, but today's visit topped everything. We usually always buy meat skewers with extra doner meat, a few weeks ago we paid €1 extra, last week we were already at €2 extra, which was legitimate for us. Today we had to pay a mere €10 extra for three dishes we requested. After asking, we were told by an extremely unfriendly and snippy employee that it was just like that. In addition, we were very disappointed with the meat, it was incredibly dry and tough. There was always a fried tomato with it, and the portions were also more generous. This was also the case last time. We thought that this could happen, so we gave the business another chance. This has been resolved for us with today's incident. I can also spend my money on the other at least 19 kebab shops.

It's delicious, but it's not always made from fresh meat. On one occasion, our order was made with spoiled minced meat. It was impossible to eat. The service is fast, the people, the staff are always very polite and pleasant. But the atmosphere there leaves much to be desired: everything is very outdated (furniture, renovation), no design or concept. And one more point: always dirty tables. Besides, it is cold in winter.

At Iskender Döner you can get a truly authentic Turkish kebab. The bread comes fresh from the stone oven and is one of the best kebab breads I have eaten. The meat skewer is a layered meat skewer and not a minced meat skewer like most kebab shops. In addition to the meat, the kebab is only topped with lettuce, onions, tomato sauce and sauce. The staff are very friendly and even when it's busy you don't have to wait very long. The restaurant itself is not very inviting and does not have a particularly appealing ambience. There are a few free parking spaces in front of the restaurant, but it is difficult to get a free space, especially at peak times.

Mir fiel nix positives auf. Fleisch war trocken und es gibt wenig Zutaten für den Döner. Außerdem nehmen die keine Kartenzahlung

Eigentlich mag ich den Döner hier, leider schwangt die Qualität von mal zu mal. Das Fleisch vom Rind ist sehr Aromatisch und auch das Brot ist gut allerdings fehlt mir der Rotkohl auf den Döner. Komischerweise ist er aber beim Dönerteller dabei letztens habe ich darum gebeten ob man mir auch was davon auf den Döner machen könnte was man auch prompt gemacht hat leider wollte man 1€ Aufpreis dafür, schon saftig finde ich für so ein bisschen Blaukraut. Aber im großen und ganzen ist der Döner gut hier. Außerdem sollte die Toilette dringend mal renovieren werden.

Nettes Personal und meiner Meinung nach der beste Döner der Stadt. Das Fleisch ist sehr lecker und nicht der Standard Hack Fleisch Döner, welches die meisten Dönerläden der Stadt verwenden, wodurch diese eh fast alle gleich schmecken. Der Döner wird ohne Kraut serviert und kostet im Vergleich 1-2 Euro mehr das ist er aber aufjedenfall wert 👍

Etwas seltsames Verhalten der Belegschaft. Türkische Gäste drängeln sich vor und werde zuerst bedient.

Das ist wohlmöglich der beste Dönerladen in ganz Bayreuth, immer frisches leckeres Fleisch und Gemüse.(bestes Dönerfleisch Bayreuths) Das Brot wird immer frisch vor den eigenen Augen gebacken + der Dönerladen besitzt ebenfalls einen Riesen Grill an dem frische Spieße braten lassen kann. Der Lieferservice ist ebenfalls top.

Super Service und sehr freundliches Personal. Ambiente passt für ein Imbiss. Man kann auch draußen sitzen. Das Essen sieht zwar sehr gut aus aber Fleisch und Pommes ist leider ein wenig trocken(4⭐). Es ist aber Geschmack Sache. Hackfleischspieß hatte leider ein wenig Nachgeschmack (4⭐). Preise in Ordnung. Ein sehr kleiner Parkplatz ist direkt am Imbiss.

Essen hat 1 a geschmeckt, Preis ok, freundliches Personal. Ambiente könnte besser sein, Tische waren dreckig und mdf abgeplatzt

Diese Döner sehr gut, schmeckt anders, viel Fleisch auf Döner, wenig Salat. Traumhaft für einen Jäger. Ich jetzt Vegetarier das war meine letzte Döner. Bayreuth People sagen das beste Döner hier ist, die machen gute Brot selber und handgemacht. Lach mal chun nicht so gut aber Döner sehr gut. Gute Werbung auf ZOH Bus. Sehr berühmt diese

Lecker Dönerteller gewesen! Kann man sich natürlich schmecken lassen. Mit Reis schmeckt es aufjedenfall besser als mit Pommes.

Der beste Döner der Stadt! Und sogar mit Lieferservice. Das Personal ist auch immer super freundlich und schnell.

Still in my top 3 of Döner in Bayreuth. Could be spicier though, of course you can put Harissa on it but I would also prefer more spices on it generally without the hotness.

Der Beste Döner den ich je gegessen habe! Wir holen uns oft Döner oder Pide dort, weil alles so schön frisch ist und das Fleisch der Wahnsinn ist. Fleisch und Soße super gewürzt da braucht es nicht viel drum herum.

Heute zum ersten Mal hier gewesen, wurde positiv überrascht, Döner schmeckt super lecker, klassisch gehalten ohne viel schnick schnack. Wer weg von den überladenen Döner möchte, sollte hierher zum essen kommen. Speisekarte bietet eine große Auswahl an Gerichten.

Sehr guter Döner. Service freundlich und schnell. Die Auswahl an Gerichten ist überragend. Viele Sitzmöglichkeiten innen und außen (auch im Schatten). Preis passt zu der Größe der Portion. Ambiente ist okay. Parkplätze sind meist eher Mangelware, was aber wieder für den Laden spricht.
