Friendly staff and good food. Recommended for watching sports (especially rugby) in Hamburg. So easy to book a table. Often open early for a game when other bars would not.

Absolute joke. First you get no response to your reservation and have to make a phone call afterwards and then you find yourself standing in front of a closed shop. Planned for weeks to give our parents a nice evening, dandelion. Of course, it can happen that a pipe bursts in your house. But firstly, you can notify the people who have made reservations and for whom you have the phone number and email address. You can't even pin information to the homepage on the website. Underground, unprofessional and cheeky. It's a shame that you can't give minus stars.

An almost magical place and for me for many years more than "just" a pub. The beer is world class and the atmosphere simply unbeatable. The guys and girls behind the counter are almost family to me! Bless you all! 🍀⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Also a vaulted cellar in which the pub was located. Unfortunately, the kitchen was already closed during the first break of the football match. I think it's a downside if you consider that a lot of alcohol flows! Furthermore, there was no lack of a good atmosphere!

I'm a little torn. I like the store and have been going there for a long time. But when you look at a renovation that has been announced a few times and nothing has been renovated, just rearranged, I find it difficult to ignore all the things. The air is a complete disaster. If you sit further back it is too warm and stuffy. When you sit at the front you are constantly surrounded by smoke and cold outside air because the smoking area is of course right in front of the entrance door and of course the entrance door does not close automatically. Better yet, it even gets stuck on the floor every time you try to close it. How about a new ventilation and a repaired door? Given the size of the rooms there should actually be enough space, but due to the renovation of the bar and just old clunky and uncomfortable furniture, pretty much everything that could have gone wrong went wrong. When a person is standing at the bar, it's almost impossible to get past them and go to the back. The already not cheap prices were raised further for the renovation. Unfortunately not really justified. But you won't become poor either. Depending on your thirst... Yesterday I had a pulled pork "burger" that consisted of 2 dry burger buns and a finger-wide layer of pulled pork. Not only does it not fill you up, it's also somehow not appropriate for 7 euros. At least it tasted good. The selection of food and drinks is OK. There are also one or two craft beers. The employees and events take the whole thing out a bit. Always friendly, funny and often English natives.

I first contacted this Irish bar prior to visiting Hamburg to see if they allowed Scottish tops in the bar. The response was instant so we booked a table for our 1st night of Arrival to watch the England v Serbia Game. What an Atmosphere there were Danes, Dutch, Poles and a group of English supporters. All the England Anthems were played prior to kick off with banter all night. Finally when the game finished they put on Yes Sir I can Boogie then the love affair with this bar took off. We had us 6 Scots joined by a group of Dutch and German supporters joining in singing and dancing to the Anthem, when we returned without a booking on the Tuesday Anna made sure we had a table for us, before long Yes Sir I can Boogie was playing again. For our Final night and Scotland’s game against The Swiss again the best table in the house had been reserved by Anna and after speaking to the bar the Scottish anthems began. What a night finishing with some great traditional Irish and Scottish Anthems. We are dearly missing this bar now that we are back home but if you are looking for a great atmosphere with great service the Irish Bar in Fleetenkeiker is the place to go. What a great pub we visited during our 5 days following Scotland during the Euros, the food was excellent, Table service for us was mainly made by Anna who always made sure we had a table when we visited. The Atmosphere and Craic was brilliant great Football Anthems played depending on the Country playing and fans singing each other songs. We were sad to leave but our last night was special playing Scottish and Irish anthems with locals and strangers joining in dancing and singing best bar in Hamburg by Far.

I am absolutely delighted with this place, the service is perfect, the atmosphere very pleasant and the location unbeatable. It is without a doubt my favorite pub in Hamburg. and the only one that has gluten-free beer. Congratulations! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Didn’t feel like an Irish pub at all - reserved tables everywhere, unfriendly staff member and slow service for food

We visited Hamburg in connection with European Championship 2024. We naturally had to find a good place to watch football and we chose this one. Lots of people, cosy, good service. good selection of beer and other drinks and the food is a mix of burger, chicken and chips, fits the place perfectly.

I came here for the first Saturday of Euro 2024. As you'd imagine, it was super busy but our host Anastasia was amazing at keeping everyone placed and served. She apologised there were no seats (later found me a stool) bur said I could stand at a high table which worked perfectly as a solo traveller. Anastasia looked after me really well, I never had to wait long for service even though it was full, and the nachos were tasty. Everything was reasonably priced too. Great place with a brilliant atmosphere.

A big thank you to the team. You did a great job at the start of the European Championship! And an extra thank you to the bar employee from June 13th. for the reserved table. I had a great evening. Gladly again.

To say it's great is to say nothing. Serve this many kibbutzim during Euro 2024. I honestly haven't seen the team smiling so much for a long time. Please pass on my thanks to everyone on the team. For the smile above all.

Simply a very good Irish pub! In addition to a large selection of beers, you can enjoy delicious food in a very cozy atmosphere! The service is quick and very friendly.

Very cozy place. Feels like a second home

I was in this Irish pub for the first time yesterday and it was great - it could easily have been in the middle of Dublin... rustic and cozy in a vaulted cellar. Many types of craft beer, Guinness, whiskey, but also for non-beer drinkers there is a large selection of other drinks (although I think there is little point in going to a pub if you don't like drinking beer). Unfortunately, a mishap happened to me right at the beginning: the Guinness glass slipped and hit the table and the other Guinness also broke... I got a full load from top to bottom, including the table and the surrounding area (no other guests were hit - what a relief) - fortunately my companion took it with humor, but the employees also reacted in a totally relaxed manner, helped us clean up the "huge mess" and even didn't charge us for the two beers, which is why I was completely exhausted. In between we had really tasty fish & chips that were crispy and hot - great! There is live music on Thursdays and Fridays from 9:30 p.m.; Since we had already been there since 3:30 p.m., we had already done too many turns by that time :-), so we left shortly beforehand. But we want to experience that on another visit! Conclusion: We won't be here for the last time... Ambience, service, value for money, food and drink - everything is "just great". (And I didn't even get banned from the house because of my painter... :-)) I would absolutely recommend making a reservation - no matter what time!

We reserved a table to watch the CL final 4 weeks ago. What we got were 2 counter barrels with wooden chairs. Furthermore, it was in the last corner of the store right next to the toilet. Since it is already very warm in the store and it was even warmer in this area, half of my friends left after 10 minutes. I think it would have been fair to communicate on the phone that there were no free tables before doing this to your guests. Drinking beer this time wouldn't be a problem, but not if you made a reservation weeks in advance. That's really bullshit and the atmosphere was messed up too. Service and food is ok. Unfortunately, 90% of the time only English is spoken. It's ok in the pub, but I think you should have some knowledge of the local language. It was the last time for us.

Wonderful Irish pub located in the beautiful center of Hamburg. Excellent staff, charismatic and very knowledgeable in recommending a vast and highly sought after range of whiskeys, beers and excellent cocktails. Excellent pub food. Whether there is some important match or live music, every evening spent there has always been a great party! Reservations are recommended because it is often quite full. Highly recommended

Searching for a pub to watch Premier League matches, I found this "hidden gem." A small Irish pub with great variety of beers, the food was good considering you're on a pub. The service was very friendly and made me feel comfortable from the very first minute. The atmosphere was lacking a little bit because many customers were unrelated to football. Summary, it's a nice place to watch football and drink beers in Hamburg, but it hasn't the authentic atmosphere of a British football pub.

The Fleetenkieker has been our regular pub for several years now! The atmosphere is great, the staff are always friendly and in a good mood and the beer is cold and tasty :)

Very nice and respectable place, but if you go to watch an inportant fiotball game, make a reservation because it gets busy.

Ordered a Kilkenny today. My favorite beer. Which I always drink at my brother-in-law's pub. Unfortunately the taste of the beer was not good, really undrinkable. I complained about this. I was informed that this is how it works. It's also in a Kilkenny glass!!! Unfortunately poor customer service!

We went in early evening and we enjoyed the food. The Spanish barman was very nice and advised us on what local beer we could have and gave us some tasters. We got a good vibe about the place and reckon that it could be a good spot later in the night. I’d recommend the fish and chips…

Was there to watch football. From every seat you have the opportunity to look at a screen! Great beer selection, from German to Irish, delicious beers. Service 1a, came to the table as soon as the beer was almost empty. (Despite the full house!) Unfortunately I can only judge the food visually, but it looked excellent. Gladly again, nice sports pub! Nice central location with good beers. Entrance not easy to find as it is in the basement. It's a good place to go for a beer.

I e-mailed this pub inquiring if they were able to show a specific match and was told that they could. However, when I entered the pub on the day of the match, I was told that they can't show it. Don't tell people you can show the match if you aren't going to stick to your words.

Nice Irish pub - a refuge for a freshly tapped, delicious beer in a pleasant atmosphere!

It may be that they also have food... but are rather dissatisfied with snacks. It doesn't matter, it's definitely worth a visit, especially on quiz night. Lots of selection of drinks and a rustic location. Unfortunately, the toilets are not in good condition.

The place was my heaven after 13 km walk. Nice people are serving and the atmosphere is warm like home. Good bar food, good atmosphere to watch matches. Always prefer bar if you are alone. This will be my first place to visit each time in Hamburg.

This is one of my most favourite Irish pubs in Hamburg. I keep going back over and over. From outside, it doesn't look like what it beholds, but when you get there, you will be surprised. The place gives a little vibe of a stone cave. Not entirely, though. Though they got enough space but this place can be really full on weekends. So better to book early. The staff is really friendly with their top-notch service. The crowd is also really fun. Overall it is a must go place if you wanna enjoy a cold beer in a warm, friendly environment. Definitely great place to hang out with a small or large group.

Good Guinness pint, hole-in-the-wall ambience. Perfect when you want a pint and don't give 2 sh#ts about some glitzy stuff.

Irish-themed bar with reasonable drinks selection. Guinness quite good for Germany and well-poured. Staff quite nice. However, our experience was marred somewhere by the insensitive names given to some items on the menu, namely the "Black and Tan" and "Irish Car Bomb". These make light of extremely dark and violent terroristic attacks and should not be on any modern menu. One star for this reason.

Ich habe an dem Tag nichts gegessen aber ich habe gehört das es verdammt gut sein soll . Das Team ist unglaublich Nett und arbeitet strukturiert und ordentlich. Sie haben alles im Blick und haben sich um eine Lösung wegen meiner Atmung und den Sitzmöglichkeiten wegen meiner Einschränkung bemüht. Man fühlt sich nicht bedrängt etwas zu trinken . Unglaublich rücksichtsvoll und lieb . Die Livemusik ist wie sie sein soll Irish Pub durch und durch Leider nicht geeignet für Rollstuhlfahrer aber da kann der Besitzer nichts für. Die Bauweise des Hauses macht es nicht möglich

Gemütlicher Pub, etwas versteckt im Keller. Reservierung dringend empfohlen, da es wirklich immer gut besucht ist. Unsere schriftliche Reservierung ist leider auf einem anderen Tag eingetragen worden, jedoch wurde uns dann nach ca 30 Minuten ein guter Tisch zugewiesen, sodass wir nicht lange auf den "billigen" Plätzen ausharren mussten :) Die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam und wir saßen nicht lange auf dem Trockenen. Wer einen gemütlichen Pub sucht, mit toller Livemusik und angenehmen Publikum, sowie guter Bierauswahl ist hier bestens aufgehoben.

Schöner irish pub, leckeres Essen, tolles Ambiente im Keller Gewölbe.

Schöner Ort um Sportevent am Fernseher, auf ein Guinness mit Freundin oder leckere Gerichte zu essen. Hier war ich schon sehr häufig zu verschiedenen anlässen. Das Essen ist immer sehr gut. Vom Burger bis hin zum "Breakfast" alles zu empfehlen. Die Bedienung ist immer Serviceorientiert, freundlich und charmant gewesen. Zum Unterhalten in einer größeren Gruppe nicht zu empfehlen, da es hier sehr laut ist. Zu zweit oder zu dritt geht das aber. Auf jeden Fall ein Besuch wert!

About the only place open in the whole of Hamburg. We were losing the will to live, but thankfully stumbled across this place. Super friendly and a nice feel in a beautiful cellar type surround. We ate, got warm and watched some TV before heading on. Thanks to the friendly staff. Lovely!

Great for playing darts, watching sports, having some Guiness and finger food! The atmosphere is ok, gets really crowded really fast, and unfortunately the staff is all newly hired or something — terrible service and only the pepople behind the bar are nice. There's even a leprechaun in charge of waiters picking fights randomly with guests (adding stereotypical irish folklore?), but the waitresses are clearly in their first job ever, getting all frustrated by a full bar with an angry vertically impaired boss breathing on their neck. I'd be back for a pot of gold and a Guiness, expecting service to fall short from ok... Pun intended. ;)

Schöner Pub im Herzen vom Hamburg. Man muss wissen, wo man hin möchte, sonst läuft man vorbei. Hat man den Irish Pub gefunden, kommt man so schnell nicht mehr raus. Sehr schöne Atmosphäre, aufmerksame, freundliche Bedienung. Dazu gibt es Sport auf mehreren Fernsehgeräten. Das Essen ist okay. Ich hatte einen Cheeseburger mit Bacon. Der Burger war nicht ganz top und die Pommes könnten besser gewürzt sein. Das Bier ist lecker und auch die Auswahl an Whisky passt. Ich kann das Lokal Guten Gewissens empfehlen.

A great venue that we went to watch an F1 race. Tip: if you’re going to watch a specific event book ahead. They were great and squeezed us in the corner with a perfect view of a TV. Whilst there we had great drinks and food. We ordered a Club sandwich and a BLT. Both came with chips that were also great. Overall lovely sports bar with great service.

Ein großartiger Irish Pub in toller Lage. Wir sind hier alle zwei Wochen für einen kleinen Stammtisch - der Service, die Getränkeauswahl und das sehr gute und trotzdem relativ günstige Essen machen den Fleetenkieker zu einem der besten Pubs der Stadt!

Bier&Ambiente gut, Essen&Service gruselig. Obwohl der Laden diesmal nicht voll war, eine Stunde auf Essen gewartet. Unser bestelltes Chili schmeckte dann wie laue Wassersuppe. Kollege wollte es eigentlich zurückgehen lassen, waren aber durch die lange Wartezeit am verhungern.. Tresenkraft unfreundlich&sehr unangenehm schon beim Betreten des Ladens.
