Irena's Gaststätte in Völklingen

Unfortunately, only 1 star. No friends and I wanted to go, but it was already closed. But you could still hear people celebrating and laughing in the bar.

Good home-cooked food, OK service, but the ambiance isn't antique, just ancient. Limited parking.

There were four of us eating there. All the dishes were beautifully presented and delicious. The price was right. The staff was friendly and efficient. Also suitable for larger groups.

The kebab was very good. The meat was excellent and well-seasoned. I can definitely recommend it; I just had a large doner kebab (5.50 on Wednesdays) 👍

No matter the weather, if you're looking for a good meal and a comfortable atmosphere, this is the place for you. The meat melts in your mouth, is perfectly seasoned, and of the highest quality. Whether inside or outside on the large terrace, decorated with pretty flowers, there's plenty of space to linger. The staff is very warm, friendly, and always strives to fulfill all your wishes. We enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.
