We enjoyed a delightful dinner in a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. The food is delicious. I asked for my food to be not spicy. My husband asked for very spicy. We each enjoyed our meals, prepared exactly as we asked. The naan is soft and very tasty. My child had chicken nuggets and fries. We will certainly be back.

It took two hours for the food to arrive. I ate "Butter Chicken," but the rice was dry, and the chicken tasted just like pumpkin soup. At least it was warm. :'( The "Gulab jamun" were missing a ball. 3/10

Such a great restaurant with a range of very tasty dishes. Definitely worth a visit. Free starters and free desserts- and fantastic main courses at reasonable prices. Thanks for a brilliant evening!

A bit outside the center (of small Weilheim) but worth a visit or two! We were served really delicious food and it was not too spicy! You can ask for the degree of spiciness and they actually deliver it! Abundant portions with authentically Indian dishes. It was easy to create a vegetarian dinner. The mango salad was fantastic and also the vegetable samosa!

It used to be very good, but now you can't eat the Tandori Chicken anymore because it has a rubbery consistency... I hope that changes again.

I ordered from this restaurant for the first time and was extremely disappointed. My order arrived after 1.5 hours – far too long! Unfortunately, the food was cold and didn't have the typical flavor I'd expect from a butter chicken. The meat was inedible and definitely not of high quality. Furthermore, I received the wrong side dish that I had originally ordered. Overall, a very negative experience, one I won't be repeating anytime soon. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it.

Outstanding Indian restaurant. Huge menu. Top-notch taste, service, and value. If you appreciate tandoori dishes, you should definitely try number 704 and perhaps replace the rice with naan bread (at no extra charge). I come here every two weeks from Starnberg and will continue to do so!

After a beautiful day at the lake, we were rushing through Weilheim looking for a restaurant where the kitchen didn't close at 9 p.m. Except for one Italian restaurant that still had pizza, everyone was cleaning up, and the kitchen was, of course, closed. We'd already given up hope and drove past the Taj Mahal again. And lo and behold, at 9:30 p.m., we took our time choosing, received friendly service without any time pressure, and the food was delicious and generous in portions. There was also enough choice for vegetarians. Highly recommended in every respect, and it's especially nice that you can eat in peace even later in the evening. Dessert was still served at 11 p.m. Thanks to the late birds 😋

Barely edible, but absolutely substandard. The sauces were watery, the meat dry, and the cheese felt like days old. Everything tasted like convenience food at best. For almost €50 for two, it's an absolute disgrace.

Excellent Indian cuisine and attentive yet unobtrusive service, plus very fair prices. This makes eating out a pleasure. We sat on the terrace in the evening sun. Otherwise, the ambiance is a bit dated and not so contemporary – but that didn't bother us that day. Overall, we really enjoyed it; we were coming from the mountains and were on our way home to Munich. We'll definitely be back!

Wir waren vor Kurzem zum Mittagstisch da. Freundliches Personal. Es gibt Mittagsmenüs zum günstigen Preis. Man könnte schön draußen sitzen, jedoch sollte der Gastgarten noch aufgehübscht werden. Als Vorspeise gibt es Suppe oder Salat. Wir hatten Suppe, die sehr fad schmeckte. Die Hauptspeise war ok, allerdings nicht besonders raffiniert gewürzt. Das Gemüse war frisch, das Fleisch gut. Das Dessert (Mangocreme) war u.E. nicht genießbar. Seltsame Konsistenz (evtl. aufgetaut). Normalerweise freuen wir uns auf diesen Nachtisch immer. Vielleicht sollte man 1-2 EUR mehr verlangen und dafür am Geschmack noch etwas feilen.

Ordered mango chicken and was incredibly disappointed. I got mango soup instead of gravy... and not even a good one. I've had some good food at this place before. But today's dish was the worst Indian food I've ever had.

Since the new takeover, great delicious food again! Large portions and the rice is refilled without asking. The delicious sauces are also refilled as needed. The staff is very attentive and friendly! We'll definitely come again!

We have been here several times, at lunchtime and in the evening. We were served very well and friendly. The food was very tasty In summer a quiet, shady place under old trees, in rainy weather cozy rooms inside, everything very clean. Highly recommended!

The two of us sat outside in the garden with a beer garden atmosphere. The food, both the starter and the main course, were really first class. Ordered a roti(?) as a side dish instead of naan bread - also very good. Everything came out of the kitchen very quickly, the staff was there immediately. We didn't have to make ourselves known once. Perfect idea! We would love to come back!

With new ownership and a new team, the Taj Mahal has definitely achieved a new positive upswing. The price-performance ratio is great. The service was very good, friendly and accommodating. The food is very good, large portions. We ate once and picked up once, it won't be the last time.

We wanted to order by phone and have it delivered - hopeless. Nobody can speak a word of German, let alone understand it. After 6 calls back from the restaurant, my friend drove off to pick up the order. Better to eat on site than order. The food was, as always, very tasty.

Generally really tasty food, however lately the meals ( home delivery atleast ) are all sauce and very little meat. I'm looking at a beef curry that has seven small lumps of beef, not what I paid for. Atleast half of the serving should be meat. This is the third time I've had to play find the meat in the sauce. It would be great food if they put a proper serving of meat in the order.

Sehr gutes, inidsches Essen zu absolut fairen Preisen 👍🏻 Wir wurden sehr herzlich und freundlich empfangen und hatten eine tolle Zeit. Die Gerichte sind qualitativ gut zubereitet und stechen vor allem mit den klassischen indischen Gewürzen durch einen super Geschmack hervor. Ich kann dieses Lokal nur weiterempfehlen 👍🏻

Lieferung schnell, aaaaber: Chicken Biryani Reis mit Hühnchen, Rosinen und Mandeln… leider lieblos gematschter Reis mit viel zu großen Fleischbrocken in scharfer Tomatensauce für 12,90€ Keine Mandel, keine Rosinen. Nicht eine … Tandoori Chicken Masala.. war einfach nur fade Tomatensauce. War mal echt gut, hat sehr stark nachgelassen. Für mich war’s das mal wieder..

Sehr gutes und authentisches indisches Essen!

Mir ist das tolle Ambiente gleich aufgefallen und war sofort aus meinem Alltag entführt. Neben dem netten Service war außerdem das Essen ein Genuss! Es machte aus einem anstrengenden einen wundervollen Tag! Lediglich die Parkplatzsuche war etwas anspruchsvoll (aber vielleicht war ich nur blind).

Heute über Lieferando bestellt. Ich liebe die knobisuppe und gefülltes naanbrot..Suppe war Wasser mit knoblauch, Brot hat nach gar nichts geschmeckt..essen lauwarm obwohl ich um die Ecke wohne. Leider heute ziemlich enttäuscht weil sonst echt immer super lecker..hoffe es war einfach nur ein schlechter Tag

Das Essen ist immer sehr sehr gut. Man muss nie lange warten und der Preis ist auch voll in Ordnung. Es ist für jeden was dabei. Hier macht man nichts falsch.

Wir kamen zu dritt in den schönen Biergarten. Die Bedienung war leider nur eher unfreundlich und machte einen genervten Eindruck obwohl so gut wie nichts los war. Das Essen war gut gewürzt und sehr schmackhaft und erinnerte sehr an dss landestypische indisch Essen. Die Portionen waren ausreichend groß und wurden schnell serviert. Wir hatten 2 vegetarische Gerichte (einmal hausgem. Käse und einmal gemischtes Gemüse) und einmal Mangochicken sowie 2 Mal Nanbrot mit Knoblauch. Alles in allem zu empfehlen und wir kommen wieder.

Gute indisch inspirierte Küche, inspiriert, da es in Indien natürlich ganz anders gewürzt ist, als wie es der deutsche Gaumen gewohnt ist. Nichtsdestotrotz ist das Ergebnis echt gut und schmackhaft 😊

Hatten bestellt, es hat zwar knapp eine Stunde gedauert, fast wie angegeben, aber war dafür richtig lecker und frisch. Besonders beim Fleisch hatten wir definitiv eine positive Überraschung, richtig lecker und sehr fein gewürzt. Macht weiter so !

Wir waren am Samstag Abend dort. Klappte auch ohne Reservierung. Ich würde sagen das Lokal war halb gefüllt. Optisch ist es indisch, aber für mein Gefühl einen Tick zu kitschig, eingerichtet. Alles ist sehr sauber. Personal ist super freundlich. Zum Essen. Die Vorspeisen haben uns jetzt nicht sooooo geschmeckt. Die chicken wings waren nicht knusprig (ist aber wohl auch Geschmackssache) das Hauptgericht war sehr gut. Rundum ein toller Inder. Wir kommen wieder.

Wir waren schon so oft im Taj Mahal und sind jedes Mal wieder begeistert. Das Essen ist super, die Bedienung sehr freundlich und Preis-Leistung stimmt einfach. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne.

Waren hier zum Buffet. Leider war dieses ziemlich enttäuschend. Brot musste extra gekauft werden und die unterschiedlichen Gerichte waren eher unterer Durchschnitt. In allen Punkten verbesserungswürdig.
