Indisches Restaurant Shiva in Kirchheim b.München

Habe Nr.47 gegessen, toller Reis, gelb mit Nelkenduft, Hühnerbrust in Stückchen ( Gulaschgrösse) in einer Sauce mit Kokosmilch, Curry, Ingwer und Koriander. Lecker, lecker ca. 14€. Top! Eine sehr freundliche Bedienung, saubere Toilette.

Schönes Restaurant mit freundlichen und aufmerksamen Service. Waren Sonntag Mittag ohne Reservierung da und haben gleich einen Platz bekommen. Wurden zügig mit Getränken versorgt und auch das Essen wurde zeitnah serviert. Es wurde gefragt ob alles in Ordnung ist und noch etwas gewünscht wird, toller Service dabei aber nicht aufdringlich. Essen sehr schmackhaft und reichlich! Kommen sicher wieder.

Waren zum ersten Mal da. Sehr aufmerksame Kellner, sehr leckeres indisches Essen.

Meiner Freundin und mir hat das Essen gut geschmeckt und die Mitarbeiter waren auch super freundlich, jedoch hat meine Freundin eine Lebensmittelvergiftung bekommen :( Wir vermuten vom Lamm, da ich dies nicht gegessen habe.

Sehr leckeres und umfangreiches Essen zu einem sehr fairen Preis. Meine Frau und ich essen etwa einmal im Monat bei Shiva und sind immer sehr zufrieden.

Leider hat die Essensqualität sehr nachgelassen hauptsächlich billige Soße , Viel zu wenig Reis und viel zu wenig von Fleisch oder Garnelen etc. was laut Speisekarte sehr lecker angeboten wird. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hat sich sehr nach unten verschlechtert. Leider.

Rund um gut versorgt wir waren zu sechst und es hat alles gepasst.

Wir hatten einen rundum wunderbaren Restaurantbesuch. Schon beim Betreten wurden wir sehr herzlich empfangen und während des gesamten Abends vom aufmerksamen und liebevollen Personal begleitet. Man merkt sofort, dass hier großer Wert auf Gastfreundschaft gelegt wird – jeder Wunsch wurde freundlich erfüllt und man fühlte sich sofort willkommen. Auch das Essen war ausgezeichnet. Die Gerichte waren frisch zubereitet, geschmacklich hervorragend abgestimmt und sehr schön angerichtet. Jede Komponente auf dem Teller wirkte durchdacht und hochwertig. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns die Qualität der Zutaten und die Liebe zum Detail in der Küche. Die Atmosphäre im Restaurant war angenehm und entspannt, sodass man den Abend wirklich genießen konnte. Zusammen mit dem hervorragenden Service und dem großartigen Essen ergibt sich ein Gesamterlebnis, das wir gerne weiterempfehlen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und bedanken uns herzlich für diesen tollen Abend.

Das Essen im Shiva ist hervorragen. Wir waren bereits öfter dort zu Gast. Unter anderem mit indischen Geschäftsfreunden, denen es auch ausgezeichnet schmeckte. Einzig der etwas beschränkt wirkende Keller, der in einer Tour vor sich hin singt, wirkt jedesmal sehr irritierend auf uns.

Das Essen war vorzüglich und sehr geschmackvoll. Die beiden Ober nett, sogar eine liebe Geburtstagsüberraschung wurde spendiert. Gerne kommen wir wieder!

Hier gibt es leckeres Essen mit einem sehr netten Personal, welches auch gerne auf Extra-Wünsche eingeht. Dies macht super vegane Gerichte möglich. Mit einem sehr guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und sauberem Umfeld ist das Shiva nur zu empfehlen.

Sehr tolles, leckeres Essen. Auch der indische Weiß- und Rotwein waren gut. Freundlich-lustig und aufmerksamer Service. Sollten wir mal wieder in der Umgebung sein, kommen wir auf jeden Fall wieder.

Kostenlose Vorspeise (so ein chip dingens), Mega Lamm und Naan Brot, man kriegt immer einen großen Teller Reis, auch wenn man zu zweit isst. Muss man sich dann aufteilen aber ist Teil der ✨️Erfahrung Der eine Ober im Schwarzen Oberteil war etwas unfreundlich, der andere hatte dafür mega viel Energie und ich musste mehrmals lachen. Zu empfehlen! Eingang ist hinten.

Wir sind immer mal wieder hier beim Essen mit Freunden. Das Ambiente ist ok und die Kellner sind freundlich. Leider variiert die Qualität der Speisen gewaltig. Die Konstanz von früher gibt es nicht mehr. Mal sind die Soßen super gewürzt und machen Laune, beim nächsten Besuch ist das gleiche Gericht 'verwässert' und Gewürze muss man suchen. Im Moment ist es wieder gut, dass heißt leider nichts fürs nächste Mal.

Kleines gemütliches Indisches Restaurant. Essen sehr gut, Bedienung freundlich und hilfsbereit. Lokal zu empfehlen!

The food is okay, but not exceptional; it's rather average, but far from the Indian spirit one would expect from India. A big point for service: I ordered the food on the spot and it arrived in 5 minutes. The decor is simple, not overly lavish, but it still doesn't convey the Indian spirit. Okay for a meal when there's nothing else to eat, but I wouldn't go back. You can get better value for money even in Munich.

Always worth a detour off the highway! Just 3 minutes away, and cheap, fast, and good food with a witty, cheerful waiter! Parking available nearby.

Unfriendly. Tells guests they have to sit outside in the heat if they want to eat inside, even if that means the service is significantly less busy (but maybe they want to avoid changing the tablecloths). This wasn't an issue at another restaurant in Kirchheim! Disrespectful treatment. I won't go back there.

Expensive, slow and inauthentic.

We've been regular customers for years and will continue to be. The food is always delicious, the staff very polite and friendly, and the seating is simply comfortable, both inside and outside. No matter who we've taken with us so far, everyone has been delighted. :-)

We went there for the first time and were absolutely thrilled. The service was super friendly. The food was excellent, and we'll definitely eat there again when we get the chance. Unfortunately, it's an hour away from us.

Very tasty food! Great chickpea salad. The okra curry is very good! The chapatis are also delicious! You can sit outside in the lovely greenery. The waiters are funny!

We went wherever our eyes looked in search of dinner and found this wonderful restaurant. Lots of space, quiet, beautiful. Mr. Lal, who served our table, willingly answered questions, kept up a conversation and took care of our comfort. Biryani is moderately spicy, chutney sauce is spicy, samosa with mango sauce just melts in your mouth. Mango lassi is refreshing :) And I especially recommend ordering a carrot dessert (gaajar kaa halva) - it's sooo delicious 🤩, and not every Indian restaurant makes it. Of course, there is a large selection of vegetarian dishes, meat and fish are also present. I would also come to the Shiva restaurant, it's a pity that it's sooo far to go :)))

Off the beaten path. We stopped here on a road trip. Well worth the five-minute detour from the Autobahn. Friendly service, good food, generous portions. Nice outside seating area. Free parking.

I have known this restaurant since 2018. Food tastes great, perfectly seasoned, just a great Indian restaurant, not many can keep up with that. First there is always papadam with three delicious dips. The staff is very attentive and, among other things, children's cutlery is automatically brought to them.

Was there yesterday with a friend. Very friendly and attentive service. Little jokes from the boss (?) cheered us up and the customers at the next table. You can have a good conversation in a quiet atmosphere. Food came promptly and tasted excellent again. I've always enjoyed eating at Shiva for years. But it hasn't been for a while now. Everything was as positive as I knew it.

Too bad! So far we have always been very satisfied, but to split a long-standing reservation between two different tables without notice - and that on Christmas Day is very questionable! Therefore only 2 stars.

Very nice. The waiter is funny and the food is good. We looked after our company of 12 people well. In the toilet in the basement, more lamps are broken than whole and the floor is greasy. This could be due to the 5 scent things and the one perfume sprayer. But it was okay. Update: still eating fast and great!

Anybody rating this place above 4-stars has never eaten proper Indian food in a quality restaurant. I live close to this place and would really like to use it more often but the food is simply not good enough. Like most Indian restaurants there are plenty of waiters standing around doing nothing most of the time but they are friendly and helpful when you ask them for something. Food portions are fine but taste is weak and far too salty.

I've been eating there for many years and I can only recommend it. Very tasty and the service was excellent. Keep it up!

This has been my absolute favorite restaurant for several years. We receive very friendly service every time. The food and drinks are always great and we never had to wait long for our food.

Soooo unfriendly and arrogant employees. Were treated passive aggressively from the start for no reason. At least the food would have tasted good. We ordered butter chicken, chicken jalfrezi and tika masala, they all simply tasted like tomato sauce. The meat was also of extremely poor quality.

The service was good, the food was very good. We will definitely come back.

Had Bombay duck and vegetarian eggplant to pick up - both poor and extremely overpriced for what you get. Meat dry, sauce nothing special, loveless. I wouldn't pick anything up there anymore and wouldn't eat there either.

We were at the State Garden Show, from the northern exit/Kirchheim the restaurant is very easy to reach. We were served very attentively, the food tasted excellent and the prices were reasonable.

Service is great and very authentic. Also suitable for vegans or vegetarians.

Bad service by the waiter. The tea was served cold and didn't pay attention to the customer. For some customers he takes good care of others he acts like a carer. Food was pretty good though

It was my first time here and I was surprised to find such a good Indian restaurant in a relatively hidden place. When the weather is nice you can also sit comfortably outside. The service was friendly and quick without being intrusive. The food was delicious. I like spicy food, but have held back on “very spicy” dishes. Next time I'll definitely try it because the "spicy" dish (chilli chicken) only tasted slightly spicy to me.

Real Indian food, super seasoned and really more than acceptable prices

Welcomed at 18 as agreed on the reservation, pleasant and very warm atmosphere, fast and efficient staff, I highly recommend the Beef Curry accompanied by a Garlic Naan. The prices are very affordable and flexible for more than excellent food.

Very good food and friendly service. Good price/performance ratio. My online reservation was quickly confirmed. In the reservation I mentioned that it was a meal for my wife who had a birthday.
