This restaurant is a true hidden gem in Munich! The food is absolutely delicious – fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully prepared. The service was outstanding, with everyone being warm and welcoming. A special mention goes to one of the waiters named polash/younis who made the experience so much better. If you’re looking for authentic Indian cuisine in a cozy setting, this place is a must-visit!

The four of us spent a wonderful evening here. The service was extremely attentive, joking, and made us laugh. The food was exceptionally good. It was pleasant to sit on the terrace, and when it started to rain later, we were able to move inside without any problems. We'll definitely be back.

Unfortunately, it was far too expensive for the small portion of meat. The service was good and attentive this time. We weren't even planning on coming back after our last visits, as the service always discreetly withdrew. But this time everything was fine.

Super friendly staff. Gave us a small free appetizer. Chicken tikka masala was good. Chicken Biryani was very good. Achari Chicken Tikka was excellent - one of the best Indian dishes I've ever had anywhere.

By far the best Indian restaurant in the Freising district and beyond. The food always tastes amazing, the service is first-class, and the staff are very friendly. Even when we mentioned a dish we really enjoyed at another Indian restaurant that wasn't on the menu at India King, they immediately recreated it, and it was simply fabulous!

The food is always delicious; we often get something to go. Very friendly service, and you always feel welcome. In the summer, it's a great place to eat outside. The interior is currently being renovated, so it will probably be a bit more cozy.

A good Indian restaurant that, in my opinion, is the best in the area. You can get good food and friendly service at a reasonable price here. There is a star deduction for the furnishings, which could be a little more authentic. The room is quite large and empty. So far we have always been able to get a place, even without a reservation.

I really wanted to like this restaurant because my good friend recommended it to me but it was not good food. I ordered the Tikka Masala which came with a tiny thimble half-full of watery sauce. The chicken pieces were small, unmarinated and on a sizzling hot plate of salad/lettuce leaves with a minuscule sprinkling of other vegetables as flakes. Not good quality and not a good portion. It would be so EASY to improve and allow customers to enjoy a meal and return again but this place was virtually empty and the reason why is quite clear to me. Poor effort.

This is an authentic Indian. It's been a long time since I've had such good Indian food. Service is very courteous but unobtrusive, the rice is hot and is served on your plate, you can taste the spices of the individual dishes very well. Parking is available but not plentiful.

Very good restaurant with very good service! All the waitresses are very nice and try their best to make the guests happy. You can tell because you are served a small appetizer and after paying you are served a small shot glass. The food came very quickly, 10 minutes and tasted very tasty. As you know it, with lots of spices and lots of rice. Gladly again and only recommended!

Great food at a very reasonable price

Very nice Indian and nice service. Fair prices for the lunch menu. The food was mostly good to very good BUT I've had really disappointing portions the last three times I've picked it up. If you pay €17 you can expect that you won't get what feels like 5 small pieces of meat. The rice and the sauce don't cost the world and if there's probably just 100 grams of meat in it then I don't think that's fair. It's basically the same quantities as lunch.... So I won't eat here in the evening anymore, but I'll happily eat it for lunch ;)

Great food. We usually eat a thali for two people. But it can easily feed 3 people. Depending on the staff, the service can sometimes be faster, sometimes slower - but always friendly and courteous. Parking spaces and charging station for electric vehicles in front of the door.

The service was nice but a bit scheduled. Some of the food was good. But two vegetarian vegetable dishes were like children's porridge - with no consistency, no taste and impossible to define. The tandoori chicken, on the other hand, was very good.

By far the best Inda near Munich we have tested a few and this one is amazing!!! Service + food a clear 10/10 We go to this Indian restaurant at least once a month and have never been disappointed love <3

Food as always, very good! The spiciness can be adjusted individually for each guest upon request. We don't come there that often, but we are always greeted warmly and some of the waitresses still know what we are ordering. Nan is a must every time anyway.

I was there for the first time. We were served quickly with a greeting from the kitchen. Papadam and 3 sauces were very tasty. The waiters were quiet and always there when you needed them. It took us a little longer because the menu was very extensive. The food was a taste explosion in the mouth. We had dishes with chicken, such good seasoning, we are happy to recommend the restaurant. A successful evening.

We were greeted by the door, given table options and were immediately seated. The menu had various options so we tried multiple dishes that we all enjoyed. Seldom do we actually receive well balanced dishes, great service while being in a nice setting. Dinner was well spend. Our servers were charismatic and friendly and we appreciated the complimentary shots as well as their attentiveness. We left a to-go bag at the table and were handed the bag even after we left the restaurant. I would love to come back if I'm in the area again.

Leckeres Essen, freundliche Mitarbeiter - so präsentierte sich India King am 4.12.2023 für mich und meinen Kollegen. Das Mango-Lamm mit Cashewkernen und Prantha schmeckte megagut, die Portion war reichlich. Habe es gleich meinen Kollegen weiterempfohlen und ist Pflichtprogramm wenn ich mal wieder in der Nähe bin.

Sehr leckeres Essen und sehr nette Mitarbeiter. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Sehr leckeres Essen mit hübschen indischen Ambiente. Extreme nette Kellner, die immer einen lustigen Spruch auf den Lippen haben und sich an einen erinnern. Wir essen hier gerne. Wenn viel los ist kann es mal vorkommen, dass man länger auf das Essen warten muss aber dann weiß man wenigstens, dass es frisch gekocht wird und man nichts Aufgewärmtes vorgesetzt bekommt.

Wir kommen immer wieder gerne, nega leckeres Essen, phantastisches Naan Brot und ein flotter zuvorkommender Service. Beim Verlassen des Lokals wird einem die Tür aufgehalten und man wird persönlich verabschiedet. Gefällt mir.

Wir waren immer gern dort, denn es hat extrem gut geschmeckt und der Service war extra nett und gut. Man konnte den ganzen Abend genießen. Vor 2 Wochen waren wir nach längerer Pause wieder dort und alles war anders. Das Essen und die Soßen fad, der Reis nicht mehr so schön locker, sondern zerkocht und einige der Hähnchenstückchen schmeckten sogar nach Gefrierbrand. Wir waren sehr enttäuscht und werden nicht mehr dort essen gehen. Wir fragen uns, was da passiert ist, ob der Koch gewechselt hat? Schade.

I had a chicken tikka masala with garlic nan, it was just excellent! Recommend this place, proper Indian food, very tasty. It was worth the 20min walk (2km) from the airport hotel.
