Kudos to all the friendly, kind, and competent staff who manage a refined, albeit small, yet authentic, setting. The food is extensive and beautifully presented, but above all, the pizza is delicious, with a light dough and generous toppings. I highly recommend going there.

Pasta allo scoglio was very good.

We've been regulars at Il Veliero for many years, thanks to the good service and a good weekly menu, even though the pandemic has seen some of the prices rise quite significantly. Now the owner has changed, and we can no longer recommend the restaurant at all. Service was so-so, and the friendliness was more functional than authentic. No bread or oil beforehand like before. A plate of pasta was €20 and not exactly generous, and pizza was also almost €20. We also waited over an hour for the food. Our inquiries as to why it was taking so long were met with a shrug. Afterward, no apology or grappa or limoncello as compensation. All in all, this is another restaurant we have to cross off our list, even though there isn't exactly an abundance of culinary options in eastern Munich—unfortunately, nothing here really appeals to us anymore.

A first-class Italian restaurant with a fantastic ambiance, sensational service, and outstanding food. The wine list is also absolutely impressive. All in all, a very pleasant evening at our new favorite Italian restaurant.

We called 2 hours in advance booked for 19 people, they fixed an own little room for us. The service was great and the food even better. Good prices also!

Neuer Besitzer, neuer Koch, Service sehr nett, Essen: Tagliatelle mit Pfifferlingen genau richtig, ohne nachsalzen/pfeffern mit Biss.../ Super. Geschmacksinne vorhanden...= finde ich gut. Kann bis jetzt nur weiter Empfehlen. Preisleistung gerecht. Danke, komme gerne wieder.

It has been a pleasant surprise!!! 👏🏻 We were looking for an Italian restaurant that was relatively close to our hotel (5-10 minutes by car). We have eaten very very well. Both the owner and the rest of the employees have been very attentive and very kind, both with us and with our son who had a very pleasant time. Thank you for everything, if we return to the area we will surely visit you again 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 PS: we have had spaghetti carbonara, prosciutto pizza and lasagna. Everything delicious! But we especially loved the lasagna 😋

We were there at 6 p.m. The reception wasn't particularly great. The waiter took the food. The salmon carpaccio was very clear. I ate bruschetta and it wasn't like I was used to at Ilaliener. Despite complaints, no comments were not listened to. It went on like this. We definitely won't be coming back. No appreciation, the guest is not listened to.

We spontaneously went there for dinner today. Very nice atmosphere and totally friendly service. We felt very comfortable. Good selection of food and also very tasty. We chose 3 different pizzas. The price was a bit high, but the quality was good. We'll definitely come back when we're in the area.

Whether with friends, family or alone, every visit feels like a short vacation to Italy. The owner puts so much passion into his restaurant that you can just feel it. He is always attentive, always making sure that his guests have a nice place, that the food comes quickly and that everyone feels completely comfortable. This warmth and passion make Rino and his restaurant so special. And then the food! No matter whether it's a simple pasta dish, a juicy piece of meat or fresh fish - the quality is consistently at a high level. At the very first bite, you'll feel a little bit like you're in Italy. The team also contributes significantly to the special atmosphere. A blonde waitress in particular always stands out because of her warm and attentive nature - she always has an open ear and makes sure that every guest has a good time. For me, coming here means taking a break from everyday life and experiencing enjoyment and hospitality in its most beautiful form. A restaurant that you not only visit, but also want to return to again and again. An absolute recommendation from the bottom of my heart!

Although we had reserved a table about a week in advance via OpenTable and it was confirmed, when we arrived on time we were assigned a "cat table" where we barely found space and which other guests had to push past uncomfortably. When asked, the waiter rambled something about how he didn't cause it, his colleague did. When the waiter was asked to explain which vegetables were being served as a side dish today due to a food intolerance when ordering, he was unable to handle it appropriately. The lasagna al forno that a member of our group ordered was low in minced meat and pasta, but rich in a thick layer of cheese. Pizza Ortolana was ok. Overall not recommended. Restaurant was already packed at 7:30 p.m. on a Friday evening. Is there no other good restaurant there with Italian cuisine?

Really nice place, a little small but very welcoming. As an Italian, I felt at home. Very good and above all fresh food. Personally I had the carbonara and I must say it was excellent. I highly recommend it if you are near Munich.

Since I was staying overnight in town for work, I discovered this restaurant through Google. It was my first time there and I received a very warm welcome. I was there alone for dinner and was seated at a very nice table. The food was delicious, and the draft beer was also tasty. The service was very attentive, but not intrusive. We were staying in a hotel in Aschheim and looking for a local restaurant to eat. We found this restaurant and we found out It is runned by Italian people, which in general makes Italian Food abroad much better. And indeed the Food was delicious, and the owner and other staff present very friendly.

We ordered lasagna but got soup with cheese, no meat at all and almost a whole case of water and all for €12. I have no idea if they just heated up the box and didn't look at what was inside, but it was a major disaster. My child was totally disappointed!!!!

We were there for a team lunch. The staff is really warm and the food options really good. I had vegetarian food and was super pleased with the Rissotto I had . Highly recommended

Mein Service: Sehr NETT, sehr Höflich was man sehr gerne als Gast sich eigentlich wünschen kann, sollten sich andere Beispiel nehmen und nicht wenn man als Gast rein geht und jemanden vom Personal Grüßt, wird man nicht beachtet. Good Italien place in Ashheim. We shared some appetisers and afterwards I had a pizza. The starts were good and the service was also very nice and fast. The pizza was also good, the dough was not too crispy or thick and the ingredients were fresh - I liked it.

My favorite Italian. I love the atmosphere and the super delicious pasta dishes. Calimari is my top favorite. Warm service and I like you Rino. And that's why I like this place.

Italiener ist halt nicht gleich Italiener! Auch im Il Veliero gibt es Pasta und Pizza, aber auf tollem Niveau. Die Terrasse lädt zum längeren Verweilen ein und das Servicepersonal ist authentisch italienisch. Lustig und sehr aufmerksam. Wir hatten 4 verschiedene Gerichte von Nudeln über Pizza bis hin zu Fleischgerichten. Alles auf fantastischem Niveau. Gerne auch vom Kellner beraten lassen, was Wein und Speisen angeht. Die wissen was sie an den Tisch bringen und können gute Empfehlungen geben. Wir waren zum ersten, aber sicher nicht zum letzten mal da. Hat das Zeug zum neuen Stammlokal! Top, weiter so!!!

The place is elegant and good, but the attention is disastrous. The workers saw that we were Spanish and that we did not speak German and a woman came to serve us who had no interest in helping us. Food is expensive and scarce. We had 4 people eat with a dessert to share even though I only took out two spoons. In general, finding a place that takes good care of you and makes you feel at home is difficult, either you speak their language or you are out of the game. Right in front of this place there is a Greek restaurant called Korfu that has a wood-fired oven with some delicious pizzas. The pizza at this place was small and the risotto my friend ordered looked like a pre-heated dish from a supermarket. Very bad experience They didn't offer us a shot or anything complimentary. I ordered a Baileys to finish and they charged me 6.50 euros with some terrible ice. I do not recommend this site.

Great, really good and service 1a. There were three of us. My two children and I, as tourists, were there to eat on Good Friday. We were just spontaneously looking and what can we say, there are real Italians here. Very friendly people and the last time I had such a delicious pizza was in Tuscany in Italy eaten 😀 Really delicious. Keep it up, unfortunately there is nothing comparable here in BW that I have visited so far. Beautiful Easter !
