Pizza is okay, very decent size and the toppings are okay. We got a table quickly even though it was 6 p.m. and the food came quickly. I would have liked to have been asked every now and then whether everything was okay, but on the other hand, there was a lot to do.

Comfortable atmosphere. Lasagna is delicious. I don't like tomatoes with mint leaves. But the tomatoes and mozzarella are fresh.

A delicious Italian restaurant that I always enjoy coming back to

The pizza was really tasty but unfortunately the staff wasn't very friendly. Only the bare minimum is spoken and you look in vain for a friendly smile or something similar. Too bad

Unfortunately the visit to Il Centro was very disappointing. My mother had already finished her main course and then came my starter. Then my food was also wrong. When the food actually arrived it was only lukewarm, bland and the rind of the cheese was still inside. And my father waited again until he had his pizza. We waited 30 minutes for the second round of drinks and then we didn't feel like it anymore. Paid and left. We are aware that it is vacation time, but then you shouldn't occupy so many tables if you don't have enough staff.

I ordered two pizzas for lunch today and had a small salad with them. The food was delicious, the only thing that bothered me was that it cost an extra 40 cents to wrap it up. But all in all super tasty and friendly

Very friendly service and the prices are actually okay (calamari fritti bought for €21.50). However, charging €4 extra for the side salad if you choose fries ("only one side dish per person!") and then adding a saucer with three bites of salad is pretty cheeky. There is room for improvement there.

Children are not welcome, you are told that straight away... by the waiter. Out of 3 meals ordered, only one came. Then you get yelled at when you want to pay after staying for an hour and missing two meals. Up to now we have enjoyed coming to eat often, but today was too much. At least the one meal that came was good.

It's best to just order one pizza, they're good at it. The rest is not so good. There were four of us at the table, the individual plates came about 5 minutes apart from each other. The things from the lunch menu really weren't that good.

On Sunday, August 4th, 2024, my wife, who suffers from MS, invited me to a small mixed ice cream. The waiter first took the order incorrectly. When paying, he only served 2 more guests before he tried to come to us. The consumed amounted to €12.10. My wife receives a very low pension. The waiter accepted the money with the disparaging remark: "Yes, yes the rich Swiss." Then the look at me with another disparaging remark: “You particularly need it.” I contradicted the waiter by saying: “As a Swiss, I won’t allow myself to be insulted in any way.” The waiter's response: "What do you want?" That went too far. I asked for the boss. He came out of the kitchen without saying hello. I first thanked him for the delicious ice cream and shared the waiter's words with him. Answer: “We are all Amici”. No, we are not. When I said goodbye, the “great waiter” applauded my words. Unfortunately there are no negative stars to be awarded here. The waiter really deserved the full 5 minus stars. A complaint was made to DEHOGA.

Ich habe gerade Zeit, denn der Kellner ignoriert uns konsequent. Seit einer halben Stunde würden wir gerne zahlen, das interessiert hier nur leider niemanden. Und das, obwohl der Laden nicht mal voll ist. Das war früher übrigens anders. Das Essen selbst war ganz gut, aber der Service, wie beschrieben, unterirdisch. Nicht eine Nachfrage, ob wir noch ein Getränk wollen - da ist noch viel Luft nach oben. Echt schade!

Since the place was very full, We wanted to order the pizza to take away. Then suddenly three tables became free and we wanted to eat the pizza on site and have something to drink. The very unfriendly waiter said that it wouldn't work anymore because he was losing track. Afterwards we waited another 50 minutes for our ordered pizza. During this time even more tables became available. Even the boss didn't want to help us.

We can only recommend pizza with chanterelles and bruschetta

After 15 minutes at the table, one of the three service employees made an effort and we were able to order something. Table next to us was there after us and food arrived before our order. When our food came, there were still 2 items missing from the next table. Our pizza and pasta came and were okay. So food was okay. At the next table they had already asked twice when the 2 pizzas would arrive. Waiter was snotty and unfriendly, even though he seemed to have forgotten to pick up the pizzas. We wanted to pack something and the waiter brought aluminum foil, which was already used after we opened it; there were grease stains and leftover food stuck to it. The waiter didn't respond to repeated waves. We spoke to another waiter and showed the slide. He said the other waiter was a bit "tired". Then said waiter brought new foil and said the other one was fresh. We then asked to pay twice. On the third call, with a little more strength in his voice, the "tired" waiter finally made an effort. He didn't seem "tired" to us, just a bit tipsy. Cost €34.60 and I gave €35. The "tired" waiter threw 50 cents on the table and slurred maliciously: That's a tip for you and the foil was fresh. I had to hold back a lot. Then the other waiter came to the table behind us. A family with children sat there, glasses still half full, playing cards. The other waiter said to them: We don't want to be rude, but we ask you to leave, other guests also want to eat something. Without words, the service is unfriendly, underground, drunk and you are sent away. We won't leave another cent there, I've never experienced anything like that.

The waiters are totally unfriendly and inattentive. If you want to order or pay for something you wait a long time

Kellner wie schon vor 2 Jahren von oben her herablassend und unverschämt. Mag das Essen auch gut sein, diese Arroganz veranlasst mich hier nicht wieder einzukehren. Ich kann mein Geld und Trinkgeld auch woanders lassen.

The service is rude, unfriendly. The food was ok, nothing more, but quite expensive. Schnitzel with fries over 19 euros.

We went there for dinner three times. Every time there were problems with the order or the wrong food was delivered, then sometimes the plates weren't clean and last but not least the bill wasn't correct.

I can only agree with the others: Pizza and pasta are okay, but the SERICE is a flat 0: that has nothing to do with the Italian mentality and more to do with “I don’t care about anything”. Each waiter has his own area, and if you call the wrong one, he doesn't feel obligated to do anything.

Can't share the impression that anyone here was unfriendly to families. The son was allowed to finish his fish sandwich in peace and the service was generally super child-friendly. Pizza and ice cream sundaes were great. It's nice to sit there in the shade and generally it was a very nice stop for lunch. The children were able to run around the square when we were finished.

And because after this excitement, dishes from the neighboring table ended up being added to our bill. Luckily you are not the only restaurateurs in Immenstaad. We definitely won't be coming back!

"Well, then that wasn't your fault," said the waiter when my wife told him that the pesto pizza was too salty and only tasted like pesto. Next time we should order something that we like. The one star for the service is because the waiter at least spoke to us... and thereby deprived himself of a fiver tip. My standard Pizza Tonno: chewy mozzarella and a slightly chewy pizza dough. School grade 4-. If you like unfriendly service and stupid sayings and are not particularly demanding in terms of cuisine, this is the place for you.

Reservations were not made indoors. We don't really feel welcome (perceived as a necessary evil). Service unfriendly and dismissive. A pity.

We gave il Centro another chance after years. At that time we were very dissatisfied. The kids' food came about 20 minutes after our meal. Back then, constructive criticism was handled very unprofessionally. Our experience today: The food is delicious. Unfortunately we were disappointed with the service this time too. Bad service. The staff is not prepared for guests. Both ordering and paying took forever. The service staff is perfectly trained to look the other way. And the restaurant was initially less than a third full. We ate ice cream and drank coffee. The quality of both did not correspond to the prices quoted for them... What a shame!

Were there for dinner. Several waiters walked past us without paying attention to us until we were told that we had to queue on the other side to get a table. The food arrived shortly after ordering. The taste was so-so and the portions were absolutely subpar. Ordered pasta twice and both were different sizes even though it was the same meal. It's a shame, but that's how it is now

Very bad customer service. After waiting for 20 minutes, we tried to signal to different waiters to make ourselves noticed so that we could get a card. After we were seen but deliberately not noticed, we communicated with another waiting couple who also made this attempt to get a card.

Pizza sehr gut, Salate maßlos überteuert für das was auf dem Teller ist. Ein riesiger Laden. Wenn draußen geöffnet ist, dann geht es. Bei schlechtem Wetter innen eng und laut. Wir hatten innen reserviert, aber der Tisch war nicht frei. Dann wollte man uns sehr unfreundlich an einer Ecke dazu setzen, wo man so nah am Durchgang saß, dass vorbeigehende Menschen fast das Essen berührten. Kellner sehr unfreundlich als wir den Tisch abgelehnt haben. Ansonsten (wir waren 3 x da) war das Personal eigentlich freundlich.

Es gab zur Mittagszeit nur 5 verschiedene Menüs . Tortellini leider ohne irgendwelches Gewürz . Dieses musste nachgeordert werden . Scallopino mit Nudeln wohl eher als Kinderportion gedacht . Lustlose Bedienung . War früher mal besser .

Delicious pizzas, very competent staff

In the "heart" of Immenstaad on the thoroughfare is the "Il Centro", an Italian restaurant and ice cream parlor with huge outdoor seating, very stylish. You can always find a place here. The prices are moderate, the offering is extremely diverse, including various cocktails. And they can do it all too, including delicious ice cream. Our antipasti were powerful and could be considered main courses. My wife really enjoyed the “Sophia Loren” pizza (the size could rival pizzas from the “Osteria chain”), although she really had to struggle. My risotto with mushrooms, on the other hand, was rather mediocre. The "schlitzigkeit" was missing here and it wasn't creamy either, which is a shame. We would have liked to order ice cream for dessert, but... no chance. The service was friendly and things ran smoothly at “Il Centro”. We would be happy to come back there again.

Good ice cream... there is also a dog ice cream, which our dog also liked. Ice cream sundaes are relatively expensive or should be a little more lavish.

The food was very good. The service was friendly and quick. Even though the restaurant was packed, they kept an overview. We recommend the saltimbocca and the spaghetti, which were al dente.

Service: Reception seemed a bit disorganized (first allocating a table, then waiting at the bar despite a telephone reservation, less than 30 seconds. Then later allocating a table) Service during the stay was very friendly but sparse (no waiter presence during the meal so no repeat orders etc. possible) We found the food “okay”, but not good enough for the relatively high prices. Great: offer of gluten-free pizza and pasta, over 5€ surcharge on the pizza price for the gluten-free version is, in my opinion, completely overpriced. I also think the extra charge for parmesan with the pasta dish is a rip-off. The visible pizza kitchen, which looks very hygienic and professional, inspires confidence.

For a centrally located restaurant, it was really good. Not a tourist trap, it has a good kitchen, the older boss was very direct with the guests... but maybe he was busy.

Waren auf der Durchreise . Das Lokal war gut besucht. Essen war ok. Der Service war irgendwie lustlos. Freundlichkeit ist hier ein Fremdwort. Nur mürrische und gelangweilte Gesichter. Das war nicht gut. Daran muss noch gearbeitet werden.

Visited with the family on a rainy day. This allowed us to enjoy some great food hear and really tasty ice creams for desert. Kids especially loved there ice creams which were very lovely decorated.

We were there spontaneously in the evening. We were greeted friendly. It was very crowded as it was great weather. Since everything outside was full, we wanted to sit inside. The nice gentleman said it would soon be free and that we should sit outside in this weather. We found that very thoughtful. We had 2 pizzas. Super tasty and a really big portion.

Very nice restaurant with a large outdoor area. We were there twice during our vacation 2 weeks ago and were given a very friendly welcome. Extremely nice staff and the best pizza in town. Other dishes we ate were also very tasty and reasonably priced. We can only recommend this restaurant.

When we only occasionally visited this pizzeria as tourists, back in March we noticed the stressed, rustic tone of the service staff Today, Sunday, May 19, 2025, the waiter's greeting at the table was: don't sit here, sit there, otherwise I won't get through. I then said good evening as a greeting would have been nice. Then we place the order and my pizza arrives first and not the tomato salad as a starter as ordered, then we realize: We have cutlery again and drinks. They then came afterwards to a nice, friendly service person who was unfortunately only at the table once. Then we ate pizza or pasta lukewarm. Afterwards we wanted to sit outside and drink an espresso. I asked the head waiter if I should pay first before sitting out, who said no it wasn't a problem. There was another waitress outside who said in a mushy tone: I can't serve her like that. You have to pay first, to whoever you were with Okay, I say. Your head waiter said otherwise; she replied, I'm not interested in that. I then complained directly to the boss, but I had the impression that he didn't understand everything I said because his German wasn't optimal. Quintessence never again. What particularly annoys me is that this restaurant was recommended by the hotel we stayed in Hagnau.

We took a break here with cappuccino and ice cream. Was very pleasant and friendly. We would like to come here again to see what pizzas and other dishes we saw at the neighboring tables and to enjoy the smell.

Service flop, food is “ok” We went there with our family based on a recommendation. After the waiter's first sentence, we would like to go to another restaurant. But since we had a longer journey and came with several cars and 2 small children, we stayed. To begin with: We sat for 30 minutes and waited until a larger table became available, since there were 8 of us in total (the waiting time is of course not the fault of the restaurant.) When the table became available, we went to the table and were greeted by it Yelled at the waiter, leaves immediately, we are not in Mallorca, waits until we clean up and in one tone... the dog's water bowl that we had already set up there was tipped over without asking and thrown under the tree. As we waited for them to clean, a family came and sat at “our” table. The waiter then pushed 2 other tables together and we had to eat in the blazing sun. - Just for the sake of the children, we stayed and didn't make a scene. Never this place again!!!

We were there on May 10th. and on May 11th, 2024 here for dinner, each time with 10 and once with 9 people. The food was really good. The tone that prevails during operation is sometimes a bit rough. However, based on our own observations, it turns out that it is actually quite simple. The guests often take the initiative to spontaneously split up and sit down at the free tables while other guests are already waiting with the serving staff. This leads to rough encounters. Some of the male waitresses can't communicate very tactfully and are sometimes really rude to the guests, but we can handle that quite well. It would be great if a sign were made that tells the guest that they are being taken to their seat, which we also think is normal, because respect cannot only work one-sidedly. It is said that the guest is king, but not if he doesn't treat the restaurant with respect. If you tip, the servers are friendly and less rude, but that shouldn't be the case afterwards. You can form your own picture of the situation. The restaurant is full and very busy in the evenings. I really liked it despite the rough service. That's why only three stars for service.

Very good restaurant with Italian specialties. Always very good no matter what you order. Freshly prepared meals. Price and performance are ok. Unfortunately the service was very poor. Unfriendly service will soon be the order of the day. Many people work without enjoying their job, which is a shame. There is also a new lady in service who is just as unfriendly towards guests. Was there very often last year but will avoid it now.

I've been there many times in the last few years. The food is good but the service unfortunately gets worse every year. As a local, I don't want to be fobbed off like a tourist who will only come once for the service anyway.

Everything divine! Good food, good atmosphere, excellent service and good music

We had lunch at this restaurant. There is a lunch menu, with a selection of dishes that are slightly cheaper than the normal menu, which we really liked. We were there on Thursday and had reserved as a precaution. This was a pretty good decision, as pretty much all the tables in the dining room were occupied. But we were able to sit outside at short notice because the weather was perfect. Our pizzas were really delicious, the waitresses were very friendly and approachable and the location/ambience was very appealing. All in all we really enjoyed it!

We spontaneously went there for dinner the weekend after Easter. Thanks to the weather we were able to sit outside (almost all the tables inside were occupied). Pizzas are really tasty and well topped (e.g. Vegetariana). But the bruscetta and the salad with gamberetti were also really good. We saw one or two ice cream sundaes, but after the large portions we only decided on ice cream in a waffle, which was also very good. The waitresses/waiters were all in a good mood, friendly and polite.

On the sunny Saturday after Easter, I enjoyed a delicious crab salad and an al fresco Hefeweizen here. The service was perfect and the waitresses were friendly. It was the right place to relax on my bike tour to Konstanz.

The three stars are given here because I think the restaurant is overrated. The restaurant itself is actually quite ok, but it was Firstly, the waiting time is excessively long compared to other restaurants, Secondly, the prices were above average for that Thirdly, the quality of the food was also rather average, especially considering the first two factors. Regarding the ambience, it can be said that the location on the main street is just ugly, but the back area is actually quite nice. As already mentioned, the staff was a bit slow, but very nice
