Unser Fest am 04.07.2026 mit 80 Gästen war ein voller Erfolg. Das Essen, Pizza, Pasta und Nachtisch, war sehr lecker und reichlich, alle waren zufrieden und es ist einiges übrig geblieben. Die Crew war sehr freundlich und eifrig. Alles in allem würde ich den Foodtruck immer wieder buchen!!! Vielen Dank nochmals!!!

Sehr gut und authentisch italienisches Essen

Il Carrettiere hat unser betriebliches Sommerfest begleitet. Es gab eine große Auswahl an Pizzen und als Dessert Tiramisu. Alles war sehr lecker! Es hat trotz der weiteren Anreise alles super geklappt und es hat uns zu keiner Zeit an irgendetwas gefehlt. Vielen Dank nochmal!

Leider geschlossen, obwohl es sowohl in Google als auch laut Schild an der Türe heute eigentlich geöffnet sein müsste. Letztes Mal war das auch schon so und vorletztes Mal gabs an dem Tag keine Pizza, weshalb wir uns da dann gar nicht erst auf den Weg gemacht hatten. Pizza super lecker aber so hilft das leider nicht...

Pizzakurs: Ein fantastischer Abend – Pizzahandwerk auf höchstem Niveau! 🍕🌟 ​Ich habe den Pizzakurs bei "Il Carrettiere" besucht und bin restlos begeistert! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 ​Der Kurs war unglaublich informativ und lehrreich. Wir sind tief in die Materie eingetaucht: Von der Theorie der Autolyse über die Zubereitung mit Biga bis hin zu den entscheidenden Schritten wie Stock- und Stückgare haben wir alles gelernt. Auch das fachgerechte Formen der Pizzaballen wurde super erklärt. Ein besonderes Highlight war, dass jeder Teilnehmer seinen eigenen Biga-Teig mit nach Hause nehmen durfte. ​Die 5 Stunden vergingen wie im Flug, weil der Pizzajolo so nett und hilfreich war. Er hat seine Leidenschaft geteilt und war für alle Fragen offen – auch für Unterstützung nach dem Kurs kann man sich jederzeit an ihn wenden. ​Wir durften unsere eigenen Pizzen backen und gemeinsam essen, wobei wir Kursteilnehmer uns auch toll untereinander austauschen konnten. Es war einfach ein sehr schöner Abend in einer großartigen Atmosphäre mit einem super Chef von "Il carrettiere". Dass die Getränke bereits im Preis inbegriffen waren, rundet das super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis perfekt ab. ​Fazit: Ein absolut gelungener Pizzakurs, den ich jederzeit wieder besuchen würde. Wir hatten einen richtig tollen Pizza-Kochkurs! 😊 Es wurde alles super verständlich erklärt und sich Zeit für jeden einzelnen genommen. Die Atmosphäre war total angenehm und freundlich – man hat sich direkt wohlgefühlt. Die Pizza war am Ende einfach mega lecker 🍕 und das Ambiente hat das Ganze perfekt abgerundet. Kann ich absolut weiterempfehlen!

Leckere Pizza und Vorspeisen als Catering. Organisation klappte hervorragend.

Die Pizza war hervorragend. Es gibt für einen Aufpreis auch alle Pizzen als Glutenfrei Variante. Service war auch gut. Kommen auf jeden Fall mal wieder vorbei.

Das Essen war definitiv eine 10/10. Super aymphatisches Personal. Der Ablauf war reibungslos. Ich kann den Foodtruck nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Ein kulinarisches Erlebnis, das Maßstäbe setzt. Wer hier isst, erlebt Küche auf höchstem Niveau – ehrlich, kraftvoll, unverwechselbar. Bei Il Carrettiere stehen Qualität und Handwerk im Vordergrund: frisch zubereitete Speisen, bewusst ausgewählte Zutaten und eine Küche, in der jedes Detail zählt. Jedes Gericht ist durchdacht. Geschmacklich klar, intensiv und perfekt abgestimmt. Nichts wirkt zufällig, nichts beliebig. Hier sitzt jede Komponente – optisch wie geschmacklich. Was besonders beeindruckt: die Konstanz. Dieses Niveau ist kein Zufall, sondern das Ergebnis von Können, Disziplin und einem kompromisslosen Anspruch an sich selbst. Für mich ganz klar: 10 von 10. Und das ist vor allem dem Chef zu verdanken – einem Koch, der nicht nur Talent hat, sondern Charakter, Haltung und einen Anspruch, der weit über dem Durchschnitt liegt.

Die beste Pizza weit und breit! Der Teig ist perfekt - außen knusprig, innen herrlich luftig. Die Zutaten sind frisch und qualitativ hochwertig und man schmeckt einfach die Liebe zum Detail. Besonders beeindruckend hat mich der Geschmack der Tomatensauce und der perfekte geschmolzene Käse. Auch der Service ist super, freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir kommen definitiv wieder und kann es jedem Pizza-Liebhaber nur empfehlen!

Before booking the food truck, we had a tasting at the restaurant – we were very impressed with the food and service, and everything was excellent, so we booked a food truck for our party. On the day of the party, however, we were in for a nasty surprise: The food truck arrived late, and the staff seemed very unprofessional. The pasta and pizza were only half as good in taste and quality as in the restaurant. Special requests were ignored. Consequently, I was very disappointed and would not book a food truck again.

I'm finally taking the time to write a review. We booked the food truck for our wedding (June 2025). The team arrived relatively late and were quite rushed as a result. Unfortunately, the food truck looked more like an old garbage truck than a presentable food truck. The website shows many beautiful vehicles, but we received a really beat-up one. It was a real shame for a celebration where we put so much effort into it. There weren't enough appetizers for all the guests. Special requests (like vitello tonnato) weren't fulfilled. The highlight, however, was that the team had the wrong equipment (aluminum pots for an induction cooktop). We tried to help out, which resulted in the truck's power constantly cutting out. The team tried very hard, and the food, once it was ready, was tasty, but I wouldn't book this restaurant again for a birthday or anything like that. We did receive a discount, but that didn't make up for the bad taste in my mouth. Price-wise, it's practically unbeatable. However, I would have gladly paid €15 more per person if everything had gone smoothly and the food truck had been nicer.

Ich hatte einen Foodtruck letzten Samstag an meinem 30. Geburtstag u es war die beste Entscheidung! Es gab Pizzen mit verschiedenen Belägen, ganz frisch vor Ort zubereitet u aufgebacken u zwei Sorten Pasta, u. A. aus dem Parmesanleib. Wir hatten ca. 75 Gäste und alle waren satt u zufrieden! Das war mit Sicherheit nicht das letzte Mal😊 Auch vor Ort essen wir sehr sehr gern. Tolles Restaurant u das Essen einfach 1A!!! Weiter so!😊

3 stars – Food okay, but organization disappointing for a large group Yesterday, our family of 14 went to the "Giro Pizza" special for €28.90. Overall, the evening was rather satisfactory, with its ups and downs. We had a reservation for 6:00 PM, but the first drinks didn't arrive until around 6:50 PM. This was quite inconvenient for such a large group, especially since the restaurant was already quite full and it was clear the staff was overwhelmed. The waiter also struggled to take all our drink orders – he only noted 4-5 drinks and then asked if that was "everything," even though not everyone had ordered yet. This caused confusion at the table. The appetizer tasted fine, but there was far too little bread. In the end, everyone only had one or two small pieces at most; we practically had to share the bread – clearly not enough for 14 people. The pizza was perfectly fine in terms of quality and taste – I've had better, but also significantly worse pizzas. The major problem was the organization of the service: • The first slices arrived very late. • You only ever got one slice at a time, and then sometimes 10 to 15 minutes passed before the next slice arrived. • In between, the waiters came to the table with so few slices that there weren't enough for everyone, and the rest had to wait again. This eventually led to frustration rather than relaxation, because you started to feel full while others were still waiting for their first or next slice. Later in the evening, the service improved and became faster, but the poor start unfortunately marred the overall impression. Conclusion: • Food/Pizza: okay, solid. • Service & organization for large groups: definitely needs improvement (long waiting times, overwhelmed staff, unclear procedures). I would generally recommend the restaurant, but not for large groups. For smaller groups of up to about 4 people, it can certainly be more relaxed. For an event like "Giro Pizza," it would be better if there was a slightly longer wait at the beginning, but more pizzas arrived at once, without such long gaps between slices.

Everything went perfectly at our company event. Our guests were completely satisfied. The pizzas were simply delicious. We highly recommend them.

We booked the Pizza & Pasta Truck for our wedding, and it exceeded our expectations! The food was incredibly delicious; all of our guests raved about it. Whatever wasn't finished was left out for us to enjoy later if we were a little hungry! This made our wedding so unique, and we couldn't be happier with our decision. We've already recommended Il Carrettiere to many friends, and we'll be booking again for my 30th birthday! Thank you so much!!!

I ordered a pizza over the phone. Despite having a pickup appointment, I was left waiting for 17 minutes. Apparently, they wait until the customer arrives to pick up their pizza and then start preparing it.

The quality is a bit different from others. Very tasty food and good value for money.

Unfortunately the restaurant was closed and I couldn't find any information about this anywhere.

We had pizza and pasta catering for our birthday party last weekend for about 120 guests, and we're extremely satisfied. Our guests also gave us nothing but positive feedback. The food truck was staffed by three people, and the pasta dishes (two sauces of choice and the outstanding Parmesan loaf) were served in portions, and the pizza buffet was constantly refilled with a variety of fresh pizzas. The special requests of our vegan guests were also accommodated excellently. The food and on-site service were top-notch, and I highly recommend the guys and girls. I have to deduct one star for the communication, as it made us very nervous. We had significantly more guests than we had registered for when we booked, and we didn't receive a response to our emails with the relevant information. Only after we followed up by phone did we receive confirmation that the information had been received and that plans were being made for the increased number of guests.

Good value for money, great beer garden, would go back!

We booked catering at Il Carrettiere for a birthday party with 60 guests. It was absolutely delicious – the guests absolutely loved it. I would book the catering again anytime!

We booked the pizza food truck for my birthday (approx. 40 guests) – and it was absolutely perfect! The pizza truck itself looks amazing, the pizza was truly delicious and was a huge hit with all the guests. The antipasti was some of the best I've ever eaten! The team on site was very friendly, cheerful, and pleasant to work with. Coordination beforehand was mostly handled via forms, but ultimately, everything went smoothly on the day itself. I definitely recommend it!

They change their opening hours more often than I change my underwear. I've been trying to order something there for four weeks, or at least get someone on the phone – no luck. As soon as you think, "Ah, they were open last week," they're suddenly closed again. And the best part? They're closed on different days each week. I wonder if they roll dice to determine when they're open? Maybe there's a calendar with darts. It couldn't be more unreliable – absolutely frustrating. When you're hungry, you don't want to play a scavenger hunt. Sorry, but that's just not acceptable.

A truly delicious Italian restaurant. We ordered gluten-free pasta and pizza for our kids. It was truly delicious. The kids didn't have any problems afterward (they have celiac disease). We'll definitely be back! We adults were also very impressed. We got our food delivered, and everything was piping hot! Highly recommended! We haven't made it to the restaurant yet, but we'll definitely be back soon!

Pizza Quattro formaggi without tomato sauce. Just cheese and dough, so I don't know. The last time I catered a company party, the lady was unfortunately very overwhelmed. We had to stand in line forever in the cold. Perhaps they miscalculated something here. The last pizza I ordered for pickup was unfortunately very cold. The calzone was delicious to eat there. The service was friendly. Unfortunately, it's not enough for me to come back. Maybe in a year or so....

Authentic taste at the highest level – a real piece of Naples! This pizzeria is an absolute delight for all Neapolitan pizza lovers. Already with the first bite you notice the high quality of the ingredients used - everything tastes fresh, aromatic and perfectly balanced. The dough is crispy on the outside, wonderfully airy on the inside and exactly what you want from a real Neapolitan pizza. I was particularly impressed by the preparation: the work here is carried out with great skill and attention to detail, in keeping with the traditional Neapolitan style. The result is a pizza that not only tastes excellent, but is also authentic. Anyone who loves real Italian pizza is guaranteed to be happy here. Highly recommended!

Simply perfect 🤩 We ordered the pizza mobile and an antipasti buffet for my birthday and what can I say, everything was perfect. The two super friendly employees were there on time (actually even ahead of schedule) and set up and presented everything very lovingly. The pizzas were served as a pizza buffet, so to speak, and were very, very tasty. Simply - buonissima!!! Therefore absolutely and unreservedly recommended!!!! Rented a pizza pasta food truck for my 50th birthday. All of my 90 guests were very satisfied and it tasted delicious. Everything in the organization worked perfectly. If I had something to complain about, the only agreement that was missing was that there would be no trash rack on the truck for disposable tableware. But that's complaining at a high level. So thumbs up 👍

The restaurant is highly recommended. They offer daily specials for lunch. The schnitzel with parmesan and pasta was delicious. When I visit my clients again, I'll be happy to have lunch there again.

First of all: there were technical difficulties when ordering - they were immediately resolved in the system after a short phone call :) Very tasty pizzas and pasta (and I'm really picky) For a while there was also the food truck on Thursdays in Massenbachhausen - unfortunately I don't know if it still exists - in any case the quality in both the restaurant and the food truck is outstanding. In short: excellent Italian cuisine!

Criticism: only cash payment and EC card. no debit, no credit card. A no-go for a place like this these days!

We ordered 2 pizzas online, pickup took 30 minutes, OK. 1 regular, 1 x calzone. So far OK. Arrived home, full of joyful surprise of a good pizza..... With the conventional pizza, the edge is 2/3 black. That doesn't work at all. Well, you eat the rest and write a friendly email to Il Carrettiere, wait 2 days, no answer, write a reminder, again no answer. Hello, don't you need to apologize? That was it for me with Il Carrettiere, the second disappointment after Valentine's Day when there was no more pizza.... I expect more. And unfortunately many Gemmingers now think that way of you.

Leider kann man hier nicht Abholung auswählen.... Wir hatten 2 Pizzen online bestellt, Abholdauer 30 min, OK. 1 normal, 1 x Calzone. Soweit OK. zu Hause angekommen, voller freudiger Überraschung auf eine gute Pizza..... Bei der herkömmlichen Pizza der Rand zu 2/3 schwarz. Das geht gar nicht. Naja, man isst den Rest und schreibt eine freundliche Mail an das Il Carrettiere, wartet 2 Tage, keine Antwort, schreibt eine Erinnerung, wieder keine Antwort. Hallo, habt ihr es nicht nötig Euch zu entschuldigen? Das war es für mich mit dem Il Carrettiere, die 2. Enttäuschung nach dem Valentinstag wo es keine Pizza mehr gab.... Da erwarte ich mehr. Und leider denken in der Zwischenzeit viele Gemminger so von Euch.

It was a pleasant evening with friends over pizza and wine/beer. I had a Calzone Napoletano (with anchovies) and was pleasantly surprised.

Very nice surroundings, friendly and always helpful staff and above all authentic cuisine like in Italy.

The Bolognese I had was disastrous - you waited forever for the waiter and when you asked the waiter something more specific or wanted to change certain things about a dish, he wouldn't accept it - even if it was just fewer vegetables on the pizza, he denied it. My Bolognese didn't come out really hot - at least it looked good - but it had little to do with a Bolognese. In the end we waited an eternity to pay and for me that's a shame because I drove an extra 1 1/2 hours from Offenbach and this restaurant was recommended to me. The dessert was good.

Unfortunately the service wasn't that good. Requests were not addressed but were directly rejected by the waitress. When we asked for a pizza with eggplant and onions, the waitress said that this was not possible and only accepted it after repeated requests. The food was only lukewarm. Dessert was delicious though. Steak on stone slab, the stone slab was cold.
