Ein schöner kleiner Zwischenstopp auf dem Weg zu unserem Urlaubsziel. Mittagessen auf der (schattigen) Terrasse, köstliches Essen und ein ausgezeichnetes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Tadelloser und sehr freundlicher Service. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Das Restaurant ist sauber und der Mittagstisch schmeckt sehr gut und ist Preiswert.

Absolut hervorragend! Wir hatten fliegende Nudeln und ein Curry mit Hühnchen usw. Alles war außergewöhnlich gut zubereitet und extrem lecker. Toller Service. Wir kommen hoffentlich wieder. Lange Anreise aus Dänemark.

Herzliche Menschen und eine tolle Atmosphäre in dem Restaurant. Das Essen war ganz gut, aber leider nichts besonderes. Bei einem Kollegen war es wenig gewürzt. Bei mir war die Cococream Curry wässrig und leider auch nicht wirklich gewürzt, wie ich das so kenne bei einem Asiaten.

Hatte die knusprige Ente auf Gemüse und Ikigai Sauce! Sehr lecker, empfehlenswert

Sehr schneller Service und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war echt super. Der Salat mit Rinderstreifen war richtig groß und das Fleisch sehr angenehm. Klare Empfehlung!

Ich wohne in der Nähe der französischen Grenze und bestelle immer von dort. Alles ist ausgezeichnet.

Einfach spitze. Der Sushimeister versteht sein Handwerk.

Das Sushi ist immer frisch zubereitet und geschmacklich top. Der Service freundlich und aufmerksam. Preislich liegt das Sushi im üblichen Rahmen. Es können zudem auch andere asiatische Reis- und Nudelgerichte bestellt werden. Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es direkt am Restaurant wobei diese eher begrenzt ausfallen. Weitaus mehr Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es dann 1-2 Gehminuten entfernt (Kirche & Allee). Insgesamt ein wirklich gutes Restaurant, das ich immer wieder gerne besuche und auch weiterempfehle.

Optisch innen schön, obwohl man das von Außen nicht erwartet. Das Essen war mega lecker. Super Preis - Leistungsverhältnis.

Ich war bisher zweimal bei Ikigai essen und war von der veganen Auswahl enttäuscht. Schon beim ersten Besuch war diese recht begrenzt, aber es gab zumindest noch eine warme Hauptspeise. Inzwischen ist diese jedoch weggefallen, da die Gerichte nicht mehr mit Kokosmilch zubereitet werden. Gerade hier hätte ich mir gewünscht, dass mehr auf unterschiedliche Ernährungsweisen eingegangen wird, zum Beispiel durch Alternativen wie Kokosmilch statt Milch oder Sahne. Auch beim Sushi selbst ist die vegane Auswahl sehr überschaubar, sodass geschmacklich kaum Abwechslung geboten wird. Das Restaurant ist zwar schön und gemütlich, und das Personal freundlich, jedoch werde ich künftig eher andere Sushi-Restaurants besuchen, die eine größere vegane Auswahl anbieten.

Toller Service, super Essen, faire Preise! Haben mit etwas Glück ohne Reservierung einen Tisch bekommen. Die Sushi und die Flying Noodles waren der Hammer! Schade, dass wir so weit weg wohnen sonst wären wir hier sicher öfters zu Gast.

Sehr freundliches Personal und das Essen ist auch unglaublich lecker vom Sushi, suppen bis hin so andren gerichten einfach empfehlenswert . Ist sein Geld wert!

Ich war Ende 2025 zum Mittagstisch dort essen und war sehr begeistert vom Essen und allem drumherum. Habe dann zu Weihnachten noch einen Gutschein dort gekauft und verschenkt. Ich komme gerne wieder!

Sehr gemütliches Ambiente, super nette Bedienung. Das Sushi war wirklich fantastisch und toll angerichtet. Wir waren sicherlich nicht zum letzten Mal hier.

Das Essen ist jedesmal sehr lecker und frisch.Leider ist der Laden Recht klein,sodass es meist sehr laut ist. Preis-Leistung beim Essen jedoch super!👍

Sehr leckeres Essen, angemessener Preis

Ich finde das Ikigai ja echt super, Essen lecker, Ambiente schön Aber was ich nicht so toll finde ist das man mittlerweile bei den Makis absolut am Reis spart, das kostet echt nicht viel. Zudem riecht man mittlerweile immer nach einem Besuch nach Fritteuse.

Das Essen war eine 10/10 wir hatten die M300 mit Garnelen. Dazu einen Lemongrass Tee. Der Mitarbeiter war sehr freundlich und hat sich wirklich interessiert. Wir kommen nochmals. Vielleicht sogar morgen. :)

Immer einen Besuch wert! Bisher schmeckte alles fantastisch und sowohl Speisen als auch Getränke werden sehr schön angerichtet. Selbst die Sushi Partyplatte zum Mitnehmen ist jedesmal eine Augenweide.

Geschmack von Sushi erleben will ist hier mehr als richtig.Megastarke Gerichte, Gewürztechnisch ein Zauber für die Sinne.Eines der Besten Sushi Restaurants die ich kennengelernt habe. Bedienung super freundlich trotz dem sehr hohen Gast aufkommen.Ihr macht einen wirklich guten Job in allen Bereichen. Klasse freue mich auf das nächste Mal.

A few days ago, we wanted to have lunch at Ikigai. Apart from us, only one table was occupied... and we had our baby, just a few weeks old, in a stroller. We could sit down, but the stroller should stay outside - according to an employee. There can't be any misunderstanding here; it was clearly visible that a baby was in the stroller, and the statement was unambiguous. How could that possibly be possible with a baby? Alternatively, we could have left the baby and stroller outside the door. 😵‍💫 We've always enjoyed going to Ikigai and enjoyed ordering there. After this experience, however, this will be our last time at Ikigai...👎🏼

The best sushi in town. You will feel like you are at home in this place

We visited here for the first time and had sushi, peanut rice, and chicken. The food was truly delicious, and the portions were generous. The service was also excellent—very attentive and friendly. We'd definitely love to come back!

We visited on a Sunday afternoon. There was plenty of space. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. It was a bit chilly, though. After a warm soup, which was very good, it improved. The food was very tasty. Sushi and noodles. Service was quick and very friendly. The restrooms were clean and attractive.

From the outside, the sign isn't very pretty. However, once you step through the door, you'll be amazed! The plates are generous, the presentation is superb, and the service very pleasant. We ate very well, the Sommerrollen were delicious and the peanut sauce to die for... we had an enchanting time with a little ritual at each table specific to Ikigai. Bravo!

Exceptionally good. I compare Ikigai to really good Asian restaurants in big cities like Berlin, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, etc. They can easily compete. That's why I always enjoy coming here.

Today, we were in ZW by chance and, looking for something to eat, ended up at Ikigai. Our selection of duck in curry sauce and strips of beef with vegetables were perfect and deliciously presented. The staff was also very accommodating. The location was very attractive, clean, and inviting. Overall, we left feeling good and full.

It was our first time there. The food was excellent, the service very friendly, and even vegetarians found delicious dishes. We can only give it 5 stars. We've booked a table again today because the coconut curry is amazing.

I was there for the first time on August 24, 2024, and I was thrilled. The food was delicious and the service was very friendly. Yesterday, on July 27, 2025, I was there again with friends. The food was delicious and the service was so friendly.

Closed in the same week as Thai Chi and Chin Chin. This means that Asian food is completely gone in Zweibrücken. It's incomprehensible why they haven't coordinated this better. It's simply weak from a customer and business perspective.

The ambiance is nice and inviting. The food was good, the staff friendly and attentive. The prices are perfectly reasonable; overall, it was a successful visit.

Very good, small restaurant. We offer good sushi, nicely prepared. But there are also other dishes. We felt very comfortable and were really full afterwards. Wir haben spontan mit unseren Freunden einen Tisch reserviert an einem Samstag. Das Ambiente war Hidajetimpft dunkel und ein wenig rustikal aber völlig in Ordnung. Die Aufmachung des Essens war hervorragend tolle Liebe zum Detail, egal, ob Getränke, Sushis oder asiatische Küche alles war hervorragend angerichtet und ein Augenschmaus. Das Essen war hervorragend und authentisch original angepasst, wie es in Europa üblich ist. In vielen Dingen schmeckt dir das Essen sehr gleich wie in Vietnam oder in Thailand. Ein höchstes Lob der Küche. Meine persönlichen Meinung im weiten Umland und die beste asiatische Küche. Der Service war insgesamt sehr zurückhaltend und etwas verschlafen. Ein junger Mann kam vorbei und nahm die Vorspeisen und dann die Hauptspeisen auf. Er war sehr professionell und freundlich. Leider war er oft hinter der Theke und schaute nicht zu oft in den Gastraum. Die weibliche Bedienung war eher un ambitioniert, brachte das Essen, nahm aber keine fertigen Teller oder Flaschen mit. Auf sie trifft sehr gut der alte Spruch Dummheit und Stolz wachsen aus dem gleichen Holz. Aufgrund des sehr guten Essens habe ich die Höchst Note vergeben. Die Bedienung war eher unterdurchschnittlich.

We go to Thailand very often and if you order the right thing, the food comes out exactly like the original. We have been here many times and are also very experienced in sushi. Ikigai makes some of the best sushi ever for us. Setting up the sushi is a dream. Wow. The soups and gyoza are also very good. The location is great and if you sit at the back you can watch the sushi master preparing it. The staff is always friendly and even with small/large misunderstandings a very good solution is found. We always enjoy coming back.

The sushi here is really delicious! Everything is freshly prepared, and if you're lucky you can even watch it being made. The plates are also generously filled, so you really feel full. Price-performance is definitely good, and from 6 p.m. you can park on the street for free - a real plus! Overall, a clear recommendation.
