Sind auf der Durchreise in Pforzheim und haben gestern Abend uns erkundigt wo man lecker essen kann. Der Tipp war genau richtig. Sehr leckeres Essen, schönes Ambiente und nette Menschen. Klasse

Es war einfach alles perfekt Gegrillte Avocado mit mango Zartes Rindfleisch auf Salaten sauce ein Traum dankeschön eliane aus der Schweiz

Das Essen ist sehr lecker. Die Portionen sind perfekt für mich. Der Service ist sehr gut und die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und sehr gesprächig. Das Ambiente finde ich sehr gut, ich habe mich kurz in Japan Gefühlt. Ich würde eher solche Familiengeschäfte/kleine Geschäfte bevorzugen und immer wieder hier essen. Preislich gut.

Bestes Sushi der Gegend, frisch, schmackhaft, gut präsentiert. Zudem weitere authentische asiatische Gerichte und super Service!

Das essen ist sehr lecker. Einzige was mir nicht so gut gefallen hat, bei der Party Platte war zu wenig Sushi mit Fisch. Dafür aber sehr viel Sushi mit den Gemüsen... Ich finde man soll den Preis erhöhen und mehr Fisch bei dem Set anbieten.. der Set ist für 6 Personen gedacht, gibt's aber nur 2 onigiri mit Lachs..

Schönes Lokal und das Essen ist frisch zubereitet. Preise sind etwas höher - bspw Nudelgerichte ab 14 Euro aufwärts. Was mir allerdings etwas Missfallen hatte war der Service: Grundsätzlich ist der Service freundlich aber es gab größere Sprachbarrieren, was schwierig ist wenn man bestellen möchte. Wir hatten konkret die Vorspeisenplatte für 2 bestellt und stattdessen eine (sehr leckere) Sushiplatte für 2 bekommen - die war sehr teuer. Wir hatten konkret für 4 Getränke und 2 Nudelgerichte und der falsch gebrachten Sushiplatte 110€ bezahlt für 2 Personen. Was besonderes Ärgerlich war, weil die knapp 60€ Euro von der Sushiplatte kam. Wir waren auf einer privaten Veranstaltung da und daher haben wir nicht darauf geachtet ob es die Vorspeisenplatte war oder nicht (nach Bestellung hatten wir keine Karte mehr zur Überprüfung). Dass das Essen zwar gut war steht im Schatten des Preises und der vor allem sehr ärgerlichen falsch gebrachten Sushiplatte. Ich denke für den Preis und das Ärgernis würde ich das Lokal leider nicht empfehlen. Der Service ist freundlich aber durch die Sprachbarrieren erlebt man dann so ein Ärgernis Nachtrag: Meine Rezensionen als falsch Behauptung darzustellen zeugt von wenig Einsicht - wir waren Ende Mai bei einer privaten Veranstaltung da. Fehler können immer passieren, allerdings sowas zu behaupten eine andere. In Pforzheim 110 Euro für 2 Personen zu zahlen für das Angebot (andere Kommentare beziehen sich auf TK Frühlingsrollen) ist eine Hausnummer. Sorry aber leider durchgefallen

Ich kann die gute Rezensionen nicht nachvollziehen. Die Vorspeise waren TK-Frühlingsrollen mit der günstigen süßen Chilisoße Der Hauptgang die flying noodles waren jetzt auch nichts was mich vom Hocker haut . Und der Nachtisch das Mochi-Eis naja halbe Mochi Kügelchen genau 3 Stück mit ein bisschen Schokosoße und durch die dünnen Obstscheiben konntest dann den Aufkleber auf dem Tisch lesen das sie keine Kartenzahlung anbieten . Ich habe dafür fast 40 Euro gezahlt . Preis Leistung ist leider absolut nicht gegeben.

Sehr leckeres Essen! Asian Fusion mit dem besonderen Extra und jedes Mal auch neue Specials dabei. Super Spot auch für alle. Einrichtung und Design des Lokals urban und ein absoluter Hingucker in Pforzheim - einzigartig. Personal und Service immer nett und auch für einen kurzen Talk zu haben. Von mir 5 Sterne!

Ich kann dieses Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen!

Dies ist zweifellos eines der herausragendsten asiatischen Restaurants in Pforzheim. Sowohl die Qualität der Speisen als auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis sind schlichtweg beeindruckend. Der einzige Aspekt, der verbesserungswürdig wäre, ist die ausschließliche Barzahlung. Darüber hinaus zeichnet sich der Service durch Freundlichkeit, Höflichkeit und Effizienz aus.

Leider nicht das authentische japanische Restaurant, das ich erwartet hatte. Wegen dem Namen und dem Sushi dachte ich erst, das ist ein Japaner. Es scheint vietnamesisch geführt zu sein und die Küche ist eher 'Asian Fusion' – trotzdem hat es gut geschmeckt und ich habe alles aufgegessen. Es war ok. ​Der Service war sehr freundlich und schnell, was aber auch daran liegen könnte, dass es bei meinem Besuch recht leer war. Das Restaurant ist geräumig, der Eingang liegt jedoch etwas versteckt nach innen versetzt (trotzdem leicht zu finden). Es gibt auch eine Bar. Die Preise sind eher gehoben, was wohl an der Lage in Pforzheim liegt. Das Restaurant befindet sich direkt an der Hauptstraße, ca. 500m vom Helios Klinikum entfernt. Insgesamt solide, aber nicht mein persönlicher Favorit in der Stadt.

Ein Besuch wert ! Hier stimmt alles.

Ich habe ein Gericht ohne Erdnüsse bestellt und dazugesagt, dass es an einer Allergie liegt. Ich habe das Essen trotzdem mit den Nüssen erhalten. Für mich persönlich ein No-Go, das bei anderen Personen tödlich enden könnte. Die Portionen sind sehr klein und bei einem Hauptgericht wird man nicht satt. Lecker ist das Essen aber auf jeden Fall. Für den Preis ist das leider nicht gerechtfertigt.

Wir waren schon einige Male dort. Zuletzt am 2. Weihnachtsfeiertag. Wir wurden bisher noch nie enttäuscht. Egal welche Speisen wir schon gegessen haben, war es immer toll angerichtet und hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Zum Mittagstisch ist es meistens sehr leer. Abends kann es richtig voll werden.

Recht gut Kein Schnapper... Zudem keine EC Zahlung möglich 3,5 Seltsam das noch immer keine digitale Zahlung möglich ist. Zoll lässt grüßen ^^ Udong Portion reicht nicht wenn man Hunger hat. Kinderportion war ordentlich Location weiter hin ok + sauber. Nicht ganz günstig

Sehr gutes Essen mit großer Auswahl an Reis-, Nudel-, und Sushi-Gerichten. Qualitativ und optisch top. Die Bedienungen waren überdurchschnittlich freundlich und immer bemüht. Das Ambiente ist ein wenig minimalistisch bzw. weitläufig und konnte durch Raumtrenner o.ä. ein wenig gemütlicher werden. Alles in allem, waren wir sehr zufrieden.

Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und sehr ansprechend angerichtet. Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das wunderschöne Ambiente mit liebevoller Dekoration und eindrucksvollen Gemälden an den Wänden.

Essen war super. Limonade nicht günstig aber dafür sehr lecker. Die Mochis waren leider ein wenig enttäuschen, wir haben etwas selbst gemachtes erwartet aber es scheinen wohl die gleichen Mochis zu sein, die man überall kaufen kann, mit etwas netter Deko. Sonst nichts zu meckern.

Wir waren im Ikigai in Pforzheim essen und sind positiv überrascht! Es war ein rundum gelungener Besuch. Das Essen – frisch und hochwertig: Die Sushi-Platte für zwei Personen war sehr lecker. Die Auswahl war super abwechslungsreich, von allem etwas dabei und geschmacklich wirklich klasse. Auch die Portionsgröße war perfekt – man geht definitiv satt und glücklich nach Hause. Positiv überrascht vom Kindermenü: Hervorzuheben ist das Kindermenü. Ich war anfangs wegen der Nuggets skeptisch, aber hier bekommt man kein Standard-Pressfleisch, sondern frische Hähnchenbruststreifen, die perfekt frittiert sind. Das sieht man selten und die Kids waren trotz Sushi glücklich. Drinks & Show-Effekt: Die hausgemachten Limonaden sind super lecker und erfrischend. Das absolute Highlight ist aber natürlich der Trockeneis-Aufguss beim Servieren – das sieht nicht nur spektakulär aus, sondern macht das Essen zu einem richtigen Erlebnis. Fazit: Wer in Pforzheim richtig gutes Sushi in toller Atmosphäre genießen will, ist hier genau richtig. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Hier hats super viel Auswahl, sind sehr gerne hier essen. Sehr lecker tolles Ambiente und freundliches Personal. Sehr Empfehlenswert.

Wir waren das erste mal dort und positiv überrascht. Von aussen sieht man nicht viel , innen eröffnet sich ein grosses Retaurant mit 3 Bereichen und man kann über die Bar in die Küche sehen. - sehr sauber. Sushi war gut. Der Fisch war sehr frisch und die Präsentation der Mehrpersonenplatte gibt dem Ganzen nochmal das gewisse Etwas. Auf Glutenfrei wurde eingegangen und der Service konnte uns für das AllergieKind flexibel beraten und ein individuelles glutenfreies Kindermenü anbieten. Der Service war aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Wem Lautstärke nicht viel ausmacht und gerne Sushi mag, ist hier gut aufgehoben. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder

Gutes asiatisches Essen. Die fliegenden Nudeln waren ein Highlight, aber die Nudelsorte erinnerte mich an Instantnudeln. Die knusprige Ente war superlecker. Leider kann man in so einem großen Restaurant nicht mit Karte zahlen.

A very good Asian restaurant, somewhat hidden away. Extensive sushi menu, but also plenty of other dishes. The food tastes great and is beautifully presented (including dry ice). The ambiance is lovely. Friendly and attentive staff. We felt very comfortable and will gladly return.

We ate there quite often until yesterday. Each time, there seemed to be fewer vegan options, or perhaps the staff had a better grasp of what "vegan" meant. Yesterday, we were given a very thorough explanation of the preparation and why practically nothing is vegan except for udon noodles with vegetables. Please differentiate between vegan and vegetarian options and clearly indicate this on your menu. In other cities, or at Asian restaurants, it's actually wonderful to eat vegan. There are so many possibilities… We won't be coming back for a while. We celebrated many big birthdays there, but were increasingly disappointed. The cocktails didn't impress us either.

For ambience, we only gave it a 3, as the open layout made for unbearable noise levels. However, with a little help from an acoustic specialist, this can easily be remedied. This won't be our last visit. Top-notch service and food.

I wanted to eat at IKIGAI Restaurant today. The opening time was listed as 5:00 PM, and I arrived about eight minutes early. My four-year-old daughter urgently needed to use the restroom, so I politely asked if she could use it for a moment. I also mentioned that we would like to eat in the restaurant afterward. Instead of showing understanding, I was told in a very rude tone that the restaurant doesn't open until 5:00 PM and that my daughter isn't allowed to use the restroom. For a family-friendly restaurant, I would have expected more accommodating and friendly service—especially in a situation with a small child. Very disappointing, and therefore I wouldn't recommend it.

Very nice and pleasant atmosphere, the food was very good and not comparable to other Asian restaurants. It's definitely worth a visit.

Friendly staff, excellent food, but unfortunately no air conditioning, which is quite a challenge when outside temperatures exceed 30°C! Otherwise, highly recommended!

A real experience. From the outside, you'd think it was 🤨, but once you're inside, you're greeted by a tasteful ambiance, nothing kitschy. The food you ordered arrived quickly, despite the busy restaurant. The quality is really good, and the portions are generous. If you're not extremely hungry, one course is easily enough. The portions are also good enough for sharing. We'll be back again and again.

A real insider tip in Pforzheim! I was absolutely thrilled with my visit to ikigai. The sushi was fresh, creatively presented, and tasted top-notch – you can immediately tell that great attention to detail goes into the preparation. The special rolls were a particular highlight! The service was also friendly, attentive, and warm – you immediately feel welcome. The atmosphere is modern and cozy, perfect for a relaxing evening. I will definitely be back and can highly recommend Ikigai to any sushi lover!

We were there today at 5 p.m. I ordered flying noodles with duck. It looked very appealing. It tasted good, too. It's a shame that the noodles get cold quickly in this dish. I personally found the price of €17.90 a bit too high. The music is generally quiet, so you can have a good conversation. The ambiance looks inviting. The service was friendly and courteous (we came to the table twice to ask if everything was okay).

I ate sushi with scallops. Unfortunately they weren't fresh. They smelled like old fish. You shouldn't eat something like that raw. I told the waiter, he didn't respond. The duck also smelled unpleasant.

I ate here and absolutely loved it! The food was incredibly tasty, fresh and authentic. The service was exceptional - very attentive, friendly and professional. I felt completely at home and can only recommend this restaurant. If you love Asian cuisine, you should definitely come here. I will definitely come back!

The food was really good, as was the service, even though it was really busy (Saturday evening). The only thing to criticize, in my opinion, is the uncomfortable, bright ceiling lighting.

Nice, very spacious restaurant. Food is well presented and tastes of German-Asian tradition. However, service takes quite a long time. Even with only a few tables occupied, we had to get the menus ourselves at some point and the drinks only came sometime after the starter. Attention, the chicken nuggets from the children's menu are not nuggets, but breaded chicken strips. The red sauce that comes with it is not ketchup, but rather Asian chili sauce. Good thing we tried it before the kids. The restaurant only accepts cash payment.

We were thrilled on our first visit: the food was excellent, the service was friendly and attentive - even though half of the restaurant was still a large construction site. Because of this positive experience we decided to come back. Unfortunately the second visit was a disappointment. With the new furnishings, the ambience looked more like a noisy market hall, which didn't fit the desired modern Asian atmosphere. The service was chaotic, one dish was forgotten and arrived much later. The quality of the food was also not convincing this time - it seemed less fresh and not as lovingly prepared as the first time. It's a shame that the initial enthusiasm couldn't be maintained. Maybe it was just a bad day, but we are left with an ambivalent impression.

The sushi is delicious, but half of it simply fell apart due to the fact that it stuck to the board :( the price is a little high.

Went there again yesterday after not being there for a few months. The service has deteriorated significantly. It started with the WhatsApp reservation, which is offered online, but then you don't get a response. Unfortunately, the sushi doesn't taste as good as it did at the beginning, the rice was pretty hard. Payment is still only possible in cash, and when I wanted to see the bill because the amount seemed very high to me, the waitress yelled at me and was totally annoyed, almost aggressively showing me the order (not the bill) on the tablet. It's a real shame, it started so well when it opened and the months afterwards. That was the last time we ate there.

Food is good even if it is quite expensive (I think for sushi it is in the middle range) Service is ok, the serving of juices in particular could be better. The biggest point of criticism is the cleanliness of the toilets, I don't know when they were last cleaned. The ambience also gives you a bit of a warehouse vibe.

The food is fresh and tastes excellent. There is a large selection of starters, sushi and other main courses. We only ordered an appetizer and sushi and were very happy with everything. The lemonades they have are also recommended. There was very little going on late at lunchtime, so we had no problem getting a free table (there are quite a few seats overall). The staff were friendly and attentive. It is important to mention that payment can currently only be made in cash. This is also made clear by a notice on the entrance door.

My absolute favorite when it comes to sushi. The restaurant's interior is modern and there is enough space. The sushi tastes very fresh and the ingredients have an intense taste - even avocados or cucumbers in the sushi :) The dishes are served with great attention to detail and the entire staff is also very courteous and friendly. Special requests are taken into account and the price-performance ratio is great. Compared to other restaurants in Pforzheim that offer sushi, Ikigai comes first in my opinion. The visit is worth it. I only go here to eat delicious sushi.

I don't regret my visit to Ikigai. The food is very good to look at and tastes good too. I was personally pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere. The furnishings are very attractive and the music is often very appropriate and calm. The service is friendly, but it can't be that tips are taken for granted and you don't even get your change back. I don't have/had no problem leaving a tip, but taking my money and just moving on without saying anything or asking is very bold in my opinion. Nevertheless, I can recommend the restaurant with a clear conscience.

If you want to eat delicious Asian food in Pforzheim, this restaurant is a must. The food was very rich and a pleasure. The atmosphere is very nice and cozy. The staff was friendly, courteous and always attentive. All in all a very good restaurant.

You can now pay by card in almost every snack bar, but this shop has refused to go this route for years. Such stores should not be supported.

The food was only good on my first visit (when the restaurant was newly opened). Then things got worse and worse. All dishes are too sweet, tastes as if a lot of sugar or honey was used. Not my taste at all. Even when I ordered a dish that was extra spicy, it was sweet.... Spring rolls are way over fried and only taste like oil. The service is not seen often. Other guests stood up to draw attention to themselves. And the fact that you can't pay by card these days is, in my opinion, no longer appropriate.
