August 2025 We were there again. Despite a reservation, we had to wait about 15 minutes for a table. It can happen sometimes. We waited another 20 minutes for drinks. The food also took a while. The staff seemed overwhelmed. Questions about the food couldn't be answered. I had Bo Xao Mang Nam, beef with vegetables. Unfortunately, the whole thing was drenched in sauce and therefore didn't taste good. The others' food was also only average. We probably won't be back. June 2024 The food is delicious. The tom yam gung is really good. The dry ice smoke with the sushi looks nice, but it's not necessary for my taste. The service is friendly and attentive, except for the head waiter, who also takes the cash, who seems less motivated.

We had dinner here as a family of 5 while travelling. We had the feeling they're not used to much tourism here. English was somewhat of a problem (though they did find a guy that could talk to us) and we turned quite a few heads with our large backpacks. Nonetheless, our waitress made the extra effort, and applauded our attempts at some German. What a vibrant place! We called 10 minutes ahead to make sure we weren't walking the detour for no reason, and it's a good thing we did. It was packed (like us, haha), and takeout orders were flying out one after another. Does the whole town of Erding eat Vietnamese on Sundays? It sure looked like it! 😁 We had the Huong Viet set for the table, which was perfect for us. Due to the long wait, which was quite understandable, we had some complimentary shrimp crackers and fruit as dessert. This was very much appreciated, and wasn't even needed. We've experienced some authentic Vietnamese/German hospitality here, and would definitely recommend this as a stop on your travels. Locals obviously already know where to find amazing food presented by amazing people! 😉

We've become repeat offenders and went back to the restaurant for dinner during our visit to Erding. It was absolutely delicious!

Best Vietnamese restaurant I have ever been to. Big portions, super flexible in adjusting the meals to your needs and super attentive staff. Highly recommend the plates with peanut sauce and the fried vanilla ice cream. They also give you a plate of fruit for free as a dessert!!! We live 4 hours from this restaurant but whenever we are somehow closeby we visit.

We spontaneously decided to visit the restaurant after the thermal baths, and we were absolutely thrilled. The food was really good and delicious. The value for money is excellent. We would eat here regularly if it weren't so far away. Even after two years, the food is still excellent and highly recommended. If we're in the area, we'll definitely be back.

Unfortunately, I can't share the enthusiasm of the other reviews. The food was really good and came quickly. But last Wednesday, there was only one server with whom you could have a normal conversation in German. The rest, including the manager, just smiled and nodded, but nothing happened. It's a shame, but I see significant room for improvement.

I was stopping over in Erding today and was hungry after a dog walk through the city park. Huong Viet wasn't far away and even had an outdoor terrace, so the dog could come along. We received a very friendly welcome right away, and the dog was given water right away. A quick glance at the menu revealed a large and varied selection. I opted for lukewarm rice noodles with herb salad and tofu. I didn't have to wait long before the food was served. Very fresh and delicious. I highly recommend Huong Viet.

Simply fantastic! Despite it being really busy, the food came super quickly, which really surprised me. The selection is huge, with something for every taste. It's understandable why even Munich residents drive all the way here; I recommend making a reservation. Parking is best across the street at the park. Very good food for under €20.

One of the best Asian restaurants in the area! The restaurant offers plenty of seating inside, as well as spacious covered areas outside. The service is outstanding 10/10. We were greeted immediately and shown to a table. We received our menus after 1 minute, and our orders were taken extremely quickly. The warm starter arrived after about 5 minutes, before the drinks – first-class. The main course was also prepared extremely quickly. A major highlight is that you can order as much rice as you like for free, and you can also reorder sauce for free. The quality and taste of the food are outstanding. There is a huge selection, so there is something for everyone. The price/performance ratio is outstanding; you get value for money here. The highlight of the evening was the free dessert with some fruit, served with smoke. If you want excellent Asian food, you've come to the right place!

We would definitely recommend this restaurant and would come back anytime! The Thai curry was ready very quickly, it was very aromatic, the vegetables were still crisp and fresh, the portions were really large, and we even got some fruit as a gift at the end! The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Pretty good Thai food although some dishes are a bit too "germanized" and therefore very heavy, but at least the cook is generous with the greens in the dishes and this is great. Prices are ok. Had a high bill than expected because they gave me a large bottle of water while I was alone… The terrace is nice.

I've rarely eaten as well as I did there recently, and I can highly recommend this restaurant. Unfortunately, it's too far from my home, otherwise I would definitely eat here more often. I'll be back for dinner the next time I visit Therme Erding.

Was sie können, ist Sushi. Die machen sehr leckere Sushi aber auch andere Sachen. Es ist auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen, sich einmal bei der Karte durch zu probieren. Essen kommt relativ schnell. Parken findet man auch in der Regel was. Lediglich würde ich Kellner empfehlen, die besser und deutlicher Deutsch reden, da es oft vorkam, auf Kommunikationsschwierigkeiten. Ansonsten machen Sie Ihren Job sehr gut.

Unfortunately, they consistently use far too many flavor enhancers here. For the prices and the menu's standards, there really should be more. So, unfortunately, it's only mediocre at best. In fact, there are some unexpected, positive surprises in the appetizer selection, for example. The service is attentive but always seems a bit overwhelmed, which may be due to the crowds. Parking is unfortunately a bit difficult, but that's not the restaurant's fault. A short walk never hurt anyone...

It was once again very tasty. They served spring rolls and flat rice noodles. Reasonable value for money. The staff were super friendly, even though it was quite busy.

The food is okay, but it was very loud and hectic during our visit. The restaurant is quite cramped, and because of the food pickups, there are always people standing around waiting. We also felt pretty rushed. The main course arrived while we were still in the middle of our starters, and we were constantly being asked what could be cleared away, so it felt like we were trying to finish as quickly as possible. We were already out after about an hour. Not a place to relax and enjoy a meal.

The food is authentic and excellent. Service is quick and friendly. The homemade drinks are delicious, and there’s a wide variety of non-alcoholic options to choose from.

We come to Huong Viet every time we're in Erding because the restaurant is truly excellent. The service is exactly what you'd expect. You're served quickly, and a member of staff regularly comes by to check if everything's okay. The food is also delicious, always beautifully presented, and arrives quickly. We think the prices are good and completely reasonable. We'll keep coming back and recommend Huong Viet to others.

The food and service are absolutely recommendable. Word has gotten around, of course, and that's why it's absolutely packed. The crowds of people picking up their food do the rest, and the line stretches right across the restaurant to the entrance and beyond. Therefore, the ambiance gets a deduction.

The food was really, really good and delicious!! Hardly any wait, super friendly and welcoming staff! The main course (sushi) was beautifully and unusually (positively) presented – they pay a lot of attention to detail, and we as guests definitely noticed the joy they put into their work. As we walked down the street , as we had done for the last 5 days, we noticed this restaurant was always full. This was a definite sign it was a popular choice, so we just turned up and hoped we could get a table. We did to my surprise and within 5 minutes we had our drinks and had the menu. The menu is extensive and has a good choice of drinks. Our order was taken and soon after it was on our table, we found the food very fresh, tasty, meat was tender and everything was full of flavour. There was a lot of food, we could not eat it all . At the end the waiter approached with a fabulous plate of fruit with dry ice flowing from a marble egg, I said “no I didn’t order this “ it was free every one got one. It is full , it’s busy and noise levels are a little loud so a quiet meal for 2 is maybe difficult to achieve, but everything else made up for it.

After a day out at therme erding, this restaraunt was an amazing local find (thank you google reviews). The food was superb, we shared a mixed starter and then moved onto main courses. I had a curry dish with mango and coconut milk, great mix of veggies and chicken, served with sticky rice. Wish you were local as we'd be back often!!

We've eaten at Huong Viet twice so far, once for lunch and yesterday in the evening. The staff was very friendly and attentive, you feel welcome. The food was really delicious, attractively prepared and the portions were generous. I found the price/performance ratio to be reasonable. At the end there was a small culinary gift from the house. This restaurant will definitely welcome us again 👍

We finally managed to make a reservation and eat here 🥘 We were not disappointed 😊 The Vietnamese ambience is very tasteful and not overloaded. The selection of wines was very good and the individual dishes were extremely tasty and spicy. The spiciness is on point and the plates are nice and hot. Gladly again🙋🏼‍♀️

This place was awesome! Just a heads-up: it was super full when we went, so definitely book a table in advance. The staff were really friendly and super fast. The food? Amazing! Everything we ordered was super tasty and the portions were bigger than we expected. The best part? At the end, they surprised us with a plate of fresh fruit and this cool smoky effect from dry ice. I also take takeaway food. there is always delicious food. the service is very nice, the waiters are helpful and friendly. ☺️💖 Only the owner could sometimes smile, because her expression is constantly dissatisfied, which could be interpreted as "why did you come here, it would be better if you left." 🫣🤭

The food is actually delicious, but sometimes not entirely fresh. The vegetables in the yellow curry were somehow not fresh, more like they had been thrown into the sauce from the day before.
