The food was cold and we didn't like it.

We ate at Huong Viet – Vietnamese Cuisine and were absolutely delighted. The food was excellent. Fresh, aromatic, and perfectly balanced. You can immediately tell that high-quality ingredients are used and prepared with great care. Every dish was perfectly flavorful and beautifully presented. The service was equally impressive. Friendly, attentive, and pleasantly unobtrusive. You feel welcome, well-advised, and exceptionally well looked after throughout your visit, without it ever feeling rushed or forced. The atmosphere in the restaurant is also very pleasant. Quiet, well-maintained, and inviting, allowing you to truly enjoy your evening. For us, this is a restaurant we'll definitely return to. Outstanding food, first-class service, and a perfectly harmonious overall experience. Highly recommended.

I ordered food for pickup, but instead of the stated 30 minutes it took over 1.5 hours.

The food was excellent ***** and the service was very attentive, despite the restaurant being fully booked. My family and I had the large table in the private room. My only complaint was that all the customers picking up their own orders crowded around the end of our table while they waited, some even sitting down. The kitchen exhaust fumes were a bit noticeable in that seating area. Opening the window helped. I really appreciated the thoughtful touch of them asking if we were there for a birthday (we did indeed have a belated birthday present) and bringing out a little surprise for dessert with music and a small table firework display. 🥰 Thank you so much! 🧡

We ate here at the weekend and it was absolutely delicious! Everything was freshly prepared, with lots of flavor and love. The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff is super friendly and attentive. A particular highlight: the food arrived quickly and was beautifully presented. The portions are really generous – almost too big, but we definitely prefer that! 😊 We'll definitely be back, maybe with a bigger appetite next time. Highly recommended! 🍜🥢

We're from Tübingen and were visiting the thermal baths here. We decided to come here for dinner. I have to say, the food was simply fantastic, there's a huge selection, and the service was also great. We even got a small fruit plate on the house after dinner. And the ambiance was also great. The next time we come to Erding, we're already looking forward to our next visit.

The food was great, and the service was very friendly. Unfortunately, we only got a spot in the awning, but we didn't have a reservation.

After the fifth call to reserve a table for three people, we were offered a spot in the tent. The explanation was: there was no room inside, but there was a heater in the tent. Inside, we found a patio heater that was switched off. After 17 minutes, we were asked whether we had already ordered. To our reply, we said we hadn't even received a menu. The starter took 23 minutes to arrive, the drinks arrived after 27 minutes, and the meal took well over an hour. A table in the tent next to a children's birthday party was the second piece of bad news, but it's true.

It takes forever to get served outside in the tent. That's unacceptable.

We had a very pleasant evening here. The staff was extremely friendly, the food truly delicious, and the service was fast, friendly, and courteous. We particularly enjoyed the lovingly designed atmosphere. However, due to the restaurant's popularity, it was quite busy and therefore quite noisy – so reservations are definitely recommended. The restrooms were fine. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable visit; we'd be happy to come back!

Tom kha gay was overly sweet. Tom yum was very salty. The ordered food arrived at lightning speed, which is why I doubt its freshness. Overall, everything went very quickly; it felt like the guests were just being asked to pay and leave. The food tasted okay, but it wasn't outstanding for us.

August 2025 We were there again. Despite a reservation, we had to wait about 15 minutes for a table. It can happen sometimes. We waited another 20 minutes for drinks. The food also took a while. The staff seemed overwhelmed. Questions about the food couldn't be answered. I had Bo Xao Mang Nam, beef with vegetables. Unfortunately, the whole thing was drenched in sauce and therefore didn't taste good. The others' food was also only average. We probably won't be back. June 2024 The food is delicious. The tom yam gung is really good. The dry ice smoke with the sushi looks nice, but it's not necessary for my taste. The service is friendly and attentive, except for the head waiter, who also takes the cash, who seems less motivated.

We had dinner here as a family of 5 while travelling. We had the feeling they're not used to much tourism here. English was somewhat of a problem (though they did find a guy that could talk to us) and we turned quite a few heads with our large backpacks. Nonetheless, our waitress made the extra effort, and applauded our attempts at some German. What a vibrant place! We called 10 minutes ahead to make sure we weren't walking the detour for no reason, and it's a good thing we did. It was packed (like us, haha), and takeout orders were flying out one after another. Does the whole town of Erding eat Vietnamese on Sundays? It sure looked like it! 😁 We had the Huong Viet set for the table, which was perfect for us. Due to the long wait, which was quite understandable, we had some complimentary shrimp crackers and fruit as dessert. This was very much appreciated, and wasn't even needed. We've experienced some authentic Vietnamese/German hospitality here, and would definitely recommend this as a stop on your travels. Locals obviously already know where to find amazing food presented by amazing people! 😉

Best Vietnamese restaurant I have ever been to. Big portions, super flexible in adjusting the meals to your needs and super attentive staff. Highly recommend the plates with peanut sauce and the fried vanilla ice cream. They also give you a plate of fruit for free as a dessert!!! We live 4 hours from this restaurant but whenever we are somehow closeby we visit.

We would eat here regularly if it weren't so far away. Even after two years, the food is still excellent and highly recommended. If we're in the area, we'll definitely be back.

Unfortunately, I can't share the enthusiasm of the other reviews. The food was really good and came quickly. But last Wednesday, there was only one server with whom you could have a normal conversation in German. The rest, including the manager, just smiled and nodded, but nothing happened. It's a shame, but I see significant room for improvement.

I was stopping over in Erding today and was hungry after a dog walk through the city park. Huong Viet wasn't far away and even had an outdoor terrace, so the dog could come along. We received a very friendly welcome right away, and the dog was given water right away. A quick glance at the menu revealed a large and varied selection. I opted for lukewarm rice noodles with herb salad and tofu. I didn't have to wait long before the food was served. Very fresh and delicious. I highly recommend Huong Viet.

One of the best Asian restaurants in the area! The restaurant offers plenty of seating inside, as well as spacious covered areas outside. The service is outstanding 10/10. We were greeted immediately and shown to a table. We received our menus after 1 minute, and our orders were taken extremely quickly. The warm starter arrived after about 5 minutes, before the drinks – first-class. The main course was also prepared extremely quickly. A major highlight is that you can order as much rice as you like for free, and you can also reorder sauce for free. The quality and taste of the food are outstanding. There is a huge selection, so there is something for everyone. The price/performance ratio is outstanding; you get value for money here. The highlight of the evening was the free dessert with some fruit, served with smoke. If you want excellent Asian food, you've come to the right place!

We would definitely recommend this restaurant and would come back anytime! The Thai curry was ready very quickly, it was very aromatic, the vegetables were still crisp and fresh, the portions were really large, and we even got some fruit as a gift at the end! Pretty good Thai food although some dishes are a bit too "germanized" and therefore very heavy, but at least the cook is generous with the greens in the dishes and this is great. Prices are ok. Had a high bill than expected because they gave me a large bottle of water while I was alone… The terrace is nice.

Was sie können, ist Sushi. Die machen sehr leckere Sushi aber auch andere Sachen. Es ist auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen, sich einmal bei der Karte durch zu probieren. Essen kommt relativ schnell. Parken findet man auch in der Regel was. Lediglich würde ich Kellner empfehlen, die besser und deutlicher Deutsch reden, da es oft vorkam, auf Kommunikationsschwierigkeiten. Ansonsten machen Sie Ihren Job sehr gut.

I've rarely eaten as well as I did there recently, and I can highly recommend this restaurant. Unfortunately, it's too far from my home, otherwise I would definitely eat here more often. I'll be back for dinner the next time I visit Therme Erding.

Unfortunately, they consistently use far too many flavor enhancers here. For the prices and the menu's standards, there really should be more. So, unfortunately, it's only mediocre at best. In fact, there are some unexpected, positive surprises in the appetizer selection, for example. The service is attentive but always seems a bit overwhelmed, which may be due to the crowds. Parking is unfortunately a bit difficult, but that's not the restaurant's fault. A short walk never hurt anyone...

The food is okay, but it was very loud and hectic during our visit. The restaurant is quite cramped, and because of the food pickups, there are always people standing around waiting. We also felt pretty rushed. The main course arrived while we were still in the middle of our starters, and we were constantly being asked what could be cleared away, so it felt like we were trying to finish as quickly as possible. We were already out after about an hour. Not a place to relax and enjoy a meal.

The food is authentic and excellent. Service is quick and friendly. The homemade drinks are delicious, and there’s a wide variety of non-alcoholic options to choose from.
