Huong Viet – Vietnamese Cuisine in Erding

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal im Huong Viet da wir beim ersten Besuch begeistert waren. Leider wurden unserer Erwartungen nicht erfüllt. Man kam sich vor wie in einem Schnellimbiss. Die Vorspeise wurde nach 10 Minuten serviert. Kaum wurde diese abgeräumt stand der Hauptgang am Tisch. Auf den Hinweis sich doch bitte zwischen den Gängen Zeit zu lassen wurde nicht reagiert. Der Hauptgang wurde abgeräumt und kurz danach wurden die Früchte (Nachttisch vom Haus) serviert. Insgesamt waren wir mit 2+1 (Früchte) Gängen nach 35 (!) Minuten wieder aus dem Restaurant. Ein weiterer Besuch ist nicht mehr geplant, schade

The food is actually delicious, but sometimes not entirely fresh. The vegetables in the yellow curry were somehow not fresh, more like they had been thrown into the sauce from the day before.

The food was delicious, the portions weren't too big and well presented. The staff attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, the restaurant is a little old, the toilets are clean, but there is an artificial smell that is very unpleasant.

Newly discovered, definitely not for the last time! When restaurants have such an extensive menu (and daily menu), that doesn't necessarily speak for quality, but this is an absolutely positive exception! Very good quality, short waiting time, good portions... and from the attentive and very friendly service, a plate of mixed fruit unexpectedly arrived after the main course (recommendation: flying noodles with coconut). Great restaurant experience!

Always worth a visit, but you should definitely reserve a table as this restaurant is always very busy, regardless of whether it is summer or winter. Alternatively, use the To Go package to enjoy it at home.

We ate there once and ordered takeaway once during our visit to Erding. I have to say the restaurant deserves every good review it got! The food is really fantastic, the portions are very generous and everything seems freshly prepared. Another positive thing is that the food is brought to the table in a really surprisingly quick time and when it was picked up, the food was beautifully packaged in a box and ready to be picked up. The restaurant has a great ambience, very cute furnishings and generally looks very inviting. I would recommend everyone to visit this restaurant! The price is also unbeatable for what you get.

Unexpectedly driving in Erding and arriving at Huong Viet by chance...we surprisingly got a table without a reservation. All the dishes and drinks were simply fresh, tasty and the portions were perfect! Very happy we happened to be there! A real good culinary surprise!

We ate at Huong Viet for the first time yesterday and were very positively surprised. Yes, it is a bit cramped and noisy, but the very tasty dishes make up for it. In our opinion, a lot of it is made in-house, see wonton, and therefore everything is very digestible. The next time we visit the thermal baths, Huong Viet will definitely be included again. The only important thing is to reserve a table in advance.

Essen war prima, der Service und das Personal hervorragend, Speisenauswahl riesig! Leider konnten wir gestern nur einen 1,5 Stunden Tisch genießen, weil dieser nach uns wieder verbucht wurde. Allerdings wurde uns das vorher gesagt. Das war fast ein wenig ungemütlich! Das Essen kam schnell, sehr heiß und hat uns recht gut geschmeckt. Die Tische stehen sehr eng beieinander, so dass man jedes Wort vom Nachbartisch mitbekommen muss. Sehr nett war, dass jeder Tisch mit einer kleinen, liebevoll hergerichteten Nachspeise, auf's Haus, überrascht wurde. Ansonsten, absolut zu empfehlen und wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Delicious food. Not cheap but the quality is good

It was a wonderful evening! The selection on the menu is really big and the children were impressed by the dry ice!

We reserved a table at very short notice and it worked out well. The food was great. The mango cream was extremely tasty and unfortunately it wasn't presented in the same way as the other dishes, which is a real shame because it was very, very tasty. All main courses and starters were very tasty and served in an eye-catching manner. Unfortunately, everything seemed very stressful, as the service staff were always watching the tables with eagle eyes in order to clear them immediately, which took away from the comfort a little. Nevertheless, the staff is very, very friendly. In the room itself there was a bit of dust on the wall decoration, but that didn't detract from the overall experience. It was very tasty and we will definitely come back.

Years ago I rightly wrote a bad review of this restaurant here. I take everything back and say the opposite. Back then it was primarily about the non-existent logistics and lack of tact. Today, and we've gotten food there at least 10 times now, everything is in tip top condition! Even pho is packaged first-class with everything that goes with it, which is not easy with a soup per se. This becomes culinary magic even at home, also because the taste is incredible. You have to search for a long time in Munich, probably in vain, until you find the quality of this pho! Since the other dishes can also be shown, we can now only warmly recommend the Huong Viet!! Hats off!

We were just passing through Erding, and were hunting for nice restaurant on the way. Google reviews showed this restaurant and we called for a table, and the staff was very kind and nice to offer us a table almost immediately. The service and food was amazing. All the pictures don’t do justice to amount of flavour the food had. One of the best Vietnamese food we have had in Europe. And as surprise there was a beautiful dessert on the house.

An extensive menu which at first gave me nerves because usually places with a long menu don’t focus on quality. Well, I stand corrected! We were a group of 6 and were served promptly on a Sunday lunch time (we had reserved, which I recommend to do so). Drinks came quickly but not as quickly as the food once we’d ordered. Again, this made me nervous but all was well made and very tasty. The service is efficient if not overly friendly. The prices are fair and the atmosphere is busy. Overall an excellent experience. The sushi I will point out is the best we have found in Erding. You can walk off the meal in the park opposite and wind your way back to the old town for a coffee afterwards.

Incredibly delicious food. I regularly eat there with my husband. Absolute sushi recommendation for this restaurant! Reservation is essential, even during the week. Restaurant a bit cramped and noisy when it's full, but that doesn't matter because of the delicious food. Ordering food to pick up is no problem either. Takes on average 30 minutes. Price performance is top! Large portions that fill everyone up. We paid 80 euros for 2 starters, 2 main courses and additional sushi and 2 cokes. There are very few parking spaces. Nevertheless, we always got a place. Sitting outside in the summer is also no problem.

As a larger group we went to a birthday party at Huong Viet in Erding. What was particularly pleasant was that we had our own little seating area, which meant it was something for ourselves. The reception was very friendly and we were quickly escorted to our table. The service was quick and we were able to place our order without a long wait. The food was fresh and presented with an impressive show, including dry ice. We felt we were in good hands and were completely satisfied with our visit.

If we go there, there's no room. A waitress tells us that the neighboring restaurant is also part of Huong Viet and leads us there. I asked if both restaurants had the same cuisine. The waitress says "yes". But the neighboring restaurant “Sen” only serves half-finished food! Tastes like other street food. Disappointed on both sides.

Today we were really disappointed for the first time. We've been there for dinner about 10 times and have also taken food to go. Today we picked up food. Normally there is a 10% discount for self-collection - the service said this is only available if you order online and not by phone!?! So what is that ? Self-collection is self-collection, whether ordered by phone, online or by carrier pigeon🫠. So we were allowed to pay the full price! We also waited 20 minutes - what was interesting was that our bag of food was already ready on the table this whole time! Food was therefore cold. Unfortunately, communication is very difficult due to the language differences. You are asked for your name 20 times, which is why the food is already ready while the staff continues to search for the name... We are initially disappointed...

This is hands-down, the best Vietnamese food I’ve had outside of Vietnam. The flavor profile of each dish was just so good and perfectly cooked; the atmosphere and service top-notch -what a hidden gem. We will definitely be back!

The ambience was appealing and the service was courteous and attentive. I don't want to go too far out on a limb, but I ate the best sushi of my life here. All other dishes were also very tasty. Also worth mentioning is the free dessert with delicious fruit and a small tart. To sum up, we will be back.

You should definitely make a reservation as it is quite popular. The service was very friendly and everything came very quickly, starting with the non-alcoholic cocktail Daydreamer, which was beautifully garnished and really tasty. The starter was HA CAO, beautifully served in a basket and incredibly good. The main course was Vit Thai red curry. This is also very nicely presented. And the portion is definitely enough. The only thing that took some getting used to was the boiled potatoes and vegetables, which could have been a little more. But still everything was very good. And it doesn't just say slightly spicy, it was only slightly spicy. Top. Then there was a little gift from the house, some fruit, which really impressed me that something like that still exists. The whole thing was beautifully decorated again and some dry ice in a jug was put over it with a fine mist. The atmosphere is very nice and you are curious about what others are doing. Got food because every meal was served differently and each one was a feast for the eyes. There is also a huge selection for sushi lovers, which is always served beautifully decorated. We sat a little longer without a drink, which was what we wanted because we couldn't fit in any more, but the staff remained super friendly and asked every now and then if I wanted something to drink, which I said no and it was ok. It was so good that we forgot to take photos. 🤣 One weak point, the mini spring rolls. Someone forgot to put a filling in there. The service was super fast and friendly. Absolutely ok in terms of price, rather on the lower end for this offer. There are also great lemonades that are obviously freshly made, sliced ​​ginger, mint and stuff. So top recommendation. Sitting outside, well, there are tables behind glass walls, it's fine there, but there are also tables right on the main street.
