It was… okay. I had mangosauce curry. It was small portion, it was sweet, but it was fine. The price wasn’t that bad - for tofu meals it’s 10,9 €, then it can go up to 13 something if it’s with meat. Still water for 3,80 is outrageous (they poured it from the tap) and the serves were confused, hectic, not really nice and didn’t understand German nor English. What is fine is that it has a lot of tofu options, so it’s suitable for vegetarians.

We found this restaurant by accident, when we were looking for a place to have dinner on a very cold and windy day. When we entered, it looked very crowded with visitors, the restaurant was almost full, luckily we still got a table. We ordered 2 pho and 1 fried rice, all were very delicious, as well as the beer. lychee and mix berry. The service was quite fast, the staff were also friendly and very helpfull

The food was really good but the service left a lot to be desired. They are busy with their cell phones. Otherwise the ambience was nice.

We were there last night before our cultural evening. Luckily the whole thing went without a reservation. Food was absolutely top. The soups are hot, as are the dishes. Extremely delicious. No waiting time. Well, it wasn't peak dinner time yet either. The only thing that bothered me a little. A waitress in sweatpants, yet friendly and attentive.

Less suitable for vegans and vegetarians. The tofu pho is probably bone broth, almost all dishes labeled as vegetarian (on the veggie menu) contain fish sauce (I became aware of this through the allergen list and when asked they confirmed it). Then had gyoza and edamame, which were okay, the gyoza was actually quite good. Unfortunately, I was brought the wrong drink twice - combined with the veggie problem, I probably wouldn't visit this restaurant again. But my all-eating companion was quite satisfied.

We were looking for a different restaurant and found this one eventually by accident. It was our luck. Good fried rice with tofu and friendly service.

Delicious tom ka ga soup with shrimps (you can really melt with delight), equally good shrimps in panko and very good Pad Thai served in a really large portion🍤 I recommend!

The food was a 12 out of 10 😃😃😃 really, really tasty and was served very quickly. The ingredients were nice and fresh, the wontons were wonderfully crispy, the avocado was perfectly ripe, the main courses were also delicious, we felt a little like we were on our Vietnam vacation. The service was also very friendly. We can only recommend it!!!

We ended up at this Vietnamese and Japanese restaurant by chance since everywhere else nearby was packed, and we’re glad we did! The place smelled great as we walked in, and luckily, there was an open table. The menu was huge—almost too many choices—but everything we ordered was really tasty. The portions were good, and it was definitely worth the money. They also had lots of vegetarian options, even some vegan ones, which was a nice surprise. Overall, it was a good meal with lots of options!

From the service to the food, everything was very pleasant and is highly recommended. The prices are really good and the homemade drinks are great! We received extremely friendly service and felt really comfortable in the relaxed atmosphere of the really nicely decorated restaurant. We'd love to come back!

I just want to complain about the - NOT - existing service. We had to take care of the menu ourselves - Wait a long time for more drinks until someone came around. Waited another 15 minutes for the bill until it said please pay inside. It's a shame because the food was perfectly fine and the drinks were really delicious. Since gastro- please a little more motivation

We dined at Hung Anh during our recent stay in Berlin with our accommodation located further up the room. The atmosphere is the restaurant is lovely, the staff were friendly and attentive and the food was super tasty and reasonably priced. We wouldn't hesitate to go back here again for some great Asian food the next time we are in Berlin.

I was there on Saturday with my friend. The sushi was totally inedible, small and didn't even feel fresh. The ready-made plastic-wrapped sushi from Lidl tastes better! Unfortunately I didn't take a photo of these mini sushi.-) P.s Opposite is Hoongy Restaurant with much, much better sushi.

We happened upon this place by chance and it looked so inviting that we decided to eat here. The service was super friendly and knew everything about gluten-free food, we had had bad experiences with it twice before. The food It was super tasty, the best thing we got in a week in Berlin and there were also very tasty strawberry spritzers and long drinks. If we're in Berlin again, we'll definitely come back

Super delicious food 👍🏻 ***** overall. The only reason we deducted a star is because we were kept waiting a little long for drinks and we were really thirsty (30 degrees). In any case, we would like to come back again. I definitely recommend you because it tasted really good and the atmosphere is pleasant.

Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre bei meinem ersten Besuch. Draußen war es leider voll an diesem Sommerabend, also gingen wir nach drinnen. Alle waren sehr fleißig, lustig, der Koch war extrem gut und der Kellner zuvorkommend. Die Kellnerinnen schnell und freundlich. Ich hab mich wohl gefühlt. Das Essen- wie oben genannt -sehr lecker. Ich werde wieder hingehen.

At first glance, we say that the place with its terrace on the street and its little lanterns looks very pleasant. And then when reading the menu, we are a little doubtful because it is relatively long and varied… and then the dishes arrive and it’s delicious 😃

When you walk past you think it's a typical Berlin-Mitte tourist trap BUT the food is surprisingly good and freshly prepared. We had really good sushi there. Service also very friendly. A real discovery!

Excellent dishes. We shared some starters and a main course. The food was fresh with high quality ingredients. The price is decent but the plates are not very big. Personally, I prefer quality to quantity, and I was not disappointed. The only downside is that it’s located at a busy street.

Then our main courses came - they were also incredibly tasty. The food was served quickly and there was super nice service. We'd love to come back :).

Fantastic restaurant - I've been here several times over the years and the quality is consistently top! From sushi to curry to the sesame balls for dessert, the food is always fantastic. There are plenty of seating options either outside directly on the street or more sheltered inside, I never made a reservation. The service is very friendly and accommodating and clean toilets are also available. Great place!

The restaurant is relatively simple, but I was even more surprised by the good quality. I had the vegetarian udon noodles. Really tasty and the vegetables were fresh and crunchy (obviously not frozen vegetables).

Great Vietnamese restaurant with lovely interior. There is a lot of space and plenty dishes to choose from. The udon with crispy duck was great, and the fried dumpling was also really tasty.

my favorite restaurant to eat/dine out! they have a wide range of food and drinks that everyone regardless if vegan/vegetarian or meat eater can enjoy. if you come during lunch time they have a set menu which changes every week where you get certain dishes for a lower price. the atmosphere is phenomenal and you can enjoy a light meal or have a nice dinner with friends and family. i definitely recommend checking this place out!

I became aware of Hung anh again through tiktok or Instagram. When I was there (around 5 p.m.) the store was very empty. It was beautifully decorated inside, but it was almost too kitschy for me (I never have that much of a problem with it otherwise). We got our food quickly and like many other Asians there is nothing to complain about here, but it doesn't blow you away. It's solid but also replaceable. The store doesn't stand out from other Asians now. Service wasn't that good, we wanted to pay but no one was interested in us. We then had to go to the front and pay directly at the counter.

Bad conditions. A waitress who always had a braid and wore black clothes served me. I can only say it was very bad service, I can't recommend it and the food took a long time even though there were no customers. When I was eating, one of their employees with a cap watched me the whole time I was eating. I told them so and then they swore at me. It wasn't nice, I'd rather not go there anymore

Delicious, fresh, fast and friendly. Pleasant fresh atmosphere. Since the duck with peanut sauce and vegetables was so delicious, I could only take a photo of the empty plate 🤣👍🏻 It was very tasty and absolutely recommended.

Ordered egg noodles with vegetables and tofu and the person I went with ordered beef pho, the beef pho arrived and my food arrived as tofu with shredded vegetable and peanuts, we then said this was the wrong order and I received a curry with rice, after the third time I received the correct food although it was mainly a bowl of celery. They informed us that they undercharged us (this was true as the food they gave me before hand was actually cheaper than what I ordered) so we said can we pay the extra amount but turns out you can’t pay it on card, luckily we had cash with us to pay for the extra money which they hadn’t put into the system. Generally left hungry and feeling unhappy. Even if the food tasted average it wasn’t even worth the hassle won’t be coming back any time soon

Probably the best Tom Ga Ka soup I've eaten in Berlin so far. All dishes were prepared quickly and brought to the table at optimal heat. The service was very friendly and inside you were well isolated from the street noise.

An excellent price-performance ratio. The service was very attentive, the food was really tasty and filling. First a visit to the Dorotheenstadt cemetery to see the graves of, for example, Fichte, Hegel, Brecht, Heiner Müller, Herbert Marcuse, Johannes Grützke, Fritz Teufel and many other personalities, then watch the light show by James Turrell in the chapel, Last time you went to Hung Anh for dinner and you had a hell of a day in Berlin.

Very clean restaurant and very cool place. Food very well prepared and delicious. Negative point perhaps, neither very expensive nor cheap. It is advisable to at least take a look.

We were there because of the good reviews. Not 4.6 stars. The food was ok, but nothing special. Service was slow.

The rating is just shy of 5*. The food alone would have earned full marks, but what bothered us was the strange table arrangement, the waiting time for the dishes and the friendliness of the staff. The latter could be described as Nordic cool. If you have enough time, you can certainly get over the longer wait for drinks and food, even if there are only a few guests. However, it is a good sign that all dishes are freshly prepared. It should only be mentioned in passing that Vietnamese cuisine is adapted to the German palate and may not come across as very spicy. The strange table arrangement hinders the service staff and possibly also other guests. We think the ambience is very successful and exudes good harmony. Conclusion: Recommended for guests who are not in a hurry.

Vietnamese and Japanese are very different kitchen. I never understood how they could be combined. When I came here late in the evening, I was specifically going for the ‘Japanese’ fusion dining, rather than Vietnamese. Homemade lime juice and stir fried udon were good. The udon was actually quite delicious for what they did, served hot right out of the wok. But the real highlight for me was the maguro nigiri - it was good quality sushi with generous slices of tuna. Happy to recommend this place.

Price-performance is good. The dishes are traditional, but I would like to highlight the starters. The lychee lemonade totally suited my taste. The service seemed a bit bored. Ambience is also okay, nothing extraordinary. So all in all - good!

Hung Anh restaurant offers a delightful dining experience with its great atmosphere and nicely decorated interior. The presentation and taste of the food are both top-notch, delivering an awesome culinary experience. However, there was a peculiar situation at the end of the meal when I requested the bill after payment, and instead of providing a traditional receipt, the staff instructed me to take a picture of the screen with my phone. Despite this minor inconvenience, the overall dining experience at Hung Anh was highly enjoyable and memorable.
