Hummus Lebanese Cuisine in Pforzheim

Positive: The food is mostly good. Three out of four people who received the food were satisfied. Negatives: The service left a lot to be desired. We had to wait more than an hour after ordering for the food. One main course was forgotten. After another 20 minutes of waiting, we announced that we would like to skip this dish as there was only one person left waiting and everyone else had already eaten and wanted to leave soon. The dish was brought to us anyway. In order not to have to throw the food away, we had it packed and still had to pay the full price for it. We felt this was unfair as the person concerned could not enjoy the dish and warmed food no longer tastes like it was freshly cooked the next day. The waitress was friendly, but unfortunately the restaurant lost us as customers. Ambiance: The ambience is fine. However, it was quite cool in the restaurant, which was unpleasant given the wait of over an hour.

I want to visit this restaurant since many months. I was disappointed. I waited long to get the food (1.5h after ordering it). Not everything we ordered was actually prepared. We asked to don‘t bring it to us anymore but they gave us it and we had to pay for it. It is also pretty cold place to eat in winter

We were invited to dinner at Humus this week. It was a fantastic meal very friendly staff and highly recommended. Everything was very freshly prepared and something completely different. We'll definitely be back

The store is already good. But the son always parks on the sidewalk, it doesn't matter to him whether there is still space on the sidewalk, if you tell him something he says it straight away and goes into the store and doesn't leave until later. Since then, I haven't eaten there anymore. If you don't have any decency, you shouldn't cook for other people. Answer. What could have been more decent I don't understand the answer. Your park on the sidewalk and then you tell me something else. First of all, you should accept the criticisms that are rightly posted. I told the driver this and now I'm supposed to complain according to your instructions. Believe that you are not capable of criticism and follow your own logic.

I was here yesterday for the first time and also spontaneously. The food is delicious, the service is very friendly and the background music was perfect. I'd be happy to come back when I'm in Pforzheim again.

Had dinner there spontaneously and with some expectations due to the good reviews. Expectations were exceeded, the food was fantastic. We had the mixed vegetarian platter (forgot name) and kafta skewers. Everything was very, very tasty. Portions are good and the price is reasonable (€50 for 2 people including drinks).

The buffet for the birthday party in your own four walls was incredibly tasty and made everyone happy. Not only a treat for the palate, but equally beautiful for the eye.

There were three of us here today. We ordered chicken shavarma as a set meal. Super filling and delicious!

The three of us went to this restaurant spontaneously for the first time today and knew as soon as we walked in that the food here was fresh and authentic and it smelled delicious. The service was very accommodating, the food was top class and we also liked the ambience. We will come again!

Outstanding. Sometimes you experience a drop in quality when you move. That's not the case here at all, the food still tastes great. I'm glad that Pforzheim again has a restaurant with plenty of space that you can go to.

I found the lady to be really sweet, like a mother. Ambience sweet, but a bit cold. eating was ssiuuuupppeerr but unfortunately a bit too expensive.

Hummus Lebanese Cuisine is a wonderful place! Once you get a seat in the restaurant, you can watch the hustle and bustle in the open kitchen. It's wonderful, you feel like you've been transported straight into the Mediterranean flair of Lebanon. The menu offers a diverse insight into Lebanese cuisine. Of course the falafel in the bowl or sandwich are great! There's hummus and baba ganoush, or these delicious fried potatoes with coriander. For vegans it is a dream to dine here. Meat and fish lovers will also get their money's worth. The selection is fantastic! A reservation is recommended, otherwise you can take the food with you or have everything delivered from the comfort of your own home.

Mega delicious food! The two of us had several matzahs. My highlight was the baba ganoush, which was my friend's little sausages in lemon sauce. There was also homemade lemonade. The service was super nice! We'll definitely be back :)

Most delicious food in Germany. No words can describe the taste and nice atmosphere. The staff are super friendly. Even if ur far, it deserve to drive there everyday. Lebanese food is always special but this restaurant is a special lebanese restaurant!!

The best Lebanese restaurant I know in BaWü! It reminds us so much of our vacation in the Middle East and we love coming every time. The food came an hour later, it takes a long time. I also get phone orders and that's probably why. Nothing special, chicken breast quite dry. An order was forgotten so my friend ate last alone. The unmade lamb. A lot of lemon juice. Personally, I didn't like it as a restaurant, I recommend that it's better to get a package, because in 15 m 2 it's a bit difficult to sit at the table. To show it looks good. The drinks are good and so are the stars.

“Hummus” is the top place in town for Lebanese cuisine. We particularly recommend the falafel sandwich with hummus, which is known for its perfect combination of crispy falafel and creamy hummus. We can't and don't want to imagine life without Baba Ghanoush, preferably several times a week. But all the other dishes we have eaten so far have been extremely tasty and prepared with a lot of love. I almost forgot to mention that we have never eaten better falafel and can't imagine that there is any better.

Quickly: I went there twice with a friend who likes the shop and tried the "beef/lamb" minced meat skewer there twice (I don't remember what it's called on the menu) and surprisingly it was very tasty both times. Tastes almost like it's been grilled on charcoal, the quality of the meat is top! and large portion. The fries that come with it are also first class. Not many “classic” restaurants manage to taste like this. I was very surprised, I didn't expect that. Price/performance OK A good recommendation for quick and cheap food.

Went to Hummus today based on a recommendation from a friend. And what should we say? It was just wonderful. Everything prepared and served with a lot of love. Small, cozy atmosphere, nice service, authentic food and a pleasant crowd. We liked it so much that we ordered something to take home with us. We will definitely be back, if only to try all the other delicious dishes on the menu. The owners and their restaurant are a true asset to Pforzheim. Keep it up....

An extremely problematic operation: The owner got into an argument with a driver and the police were called in. When I politely asked about our order, the rude response was, "If you don't like it, then cancel and leave." I have never experienced such a disrespectful reaction, especially not from a managing director from whom one would actually expect professionalism. The height of impudence, however, is that his rude, incompetent and arrogant manner is not just a facade, but is confirmed by his behavior. What was also surprising was that shawarma was offered even though there was no grill skewer available - a sight that I saw for the first time Let's experience it. As far as prices are concerned, one would say in northern Germany: "My dear Scholli, they're peppered!" Unfortunately I can't judge the quality of the food, but with behavior like this I doubt that much emphasis is placed on the quality of the food.

Like a little short vacation! The food is uniquely good, freshly prepared and tasty. You should like garlic and be open to trying other spices. The small restaurant could quickly become crowded at peak times. We were lucky and got a table. Everything is lovingly furnished with lots of small details. The only thing that is a bit unpleasant is the open kitchen area and an inadequate exhaust system, because you are bathed in smoke and haze when there is a lot going on, so that your clothes and yourself smell of kitchen and food afterwards. The owners are very nice, as is the waitress. At the end we were asked if it was tasty, which many places of this type no longer do. We thought it was good!

The food is relatively ok...but it would be better on a spit because the meat is simply chicken from the pan. It's not bad, but real shawarma is just a different story. The shop is very small and hardly any space. The service is normal and polite. Hope they can find a new store soon and improve and of course I will test there. Nevertheless, everything is ok and you can eat there without hesitation. Gladly again😋
