Hula Mula - Fresh Food & Drinks in Tuttlingen

Tische nicht wirklich immer sauber, aber Resturant leicht abgelegen dadurch wirkt es schön und man hat Ruhe für sich selbst. Die Sushi Größe als auch die Varietät hält sich stark in Grenzen, für eine Platte für vier Personen ist es sehr wenig, der Preis ist nicht gerechtfertigt. Es wurden maximal 100-150g Pute verwendet und so gut wie kein Fisch, das letzt mal hatte die Platte für zwei mehr Fisch und hatte deutlich mehr Varietät. Ich kann in der vierer Platte nur einen sehr geringen Teil an Fisch feststellen. Bei Konkurenz keinen Kilometer in der Umgebung bekommt man eine deutlich bessere Erfahrung für besseres Geld und mehr Geschmack. (Außerdem 6€ für 0,5L Wasser mit Geschmack?!?!)

Eine einladende und entspannte Atmosphäre, perfekt für einen Sonntagmorgen mit der Familie. Es gibt reichhaltige Frühstücksgerichte, die Sie nach Belieben mit Extras verfeinern können. Ich empfehle den hausgemachten Pfirsich-Weißtee; mein Sohn liebt ihn.

Ich bin extrem enttäuscht von Hula Mula. Wer hier frisches, handgemachtes Essen erwartet, wird bitter enttäuscht. Das Essen schmeckt absolut nicht selbstgemacht, sondern nach billiger Massenware. Besonders dreist finde ich die Smoothies: Anstatt frischem Obst bekommt man hier Saft aus dem Tetrapack serviert – und das zu einem völlig überzogenen Preis! Auch das Sushi rechtfertigt die hohen Kosten in keiner Weise. Man zahlt hier ein Vermögen für Qualität, die man in jedem Supermarkt-Kühlregal besser und günstiger findet. Einmal und nie wieder. Absolut keine Empfehlung!

Super leckeres poke gehabt. Das Ambiente ist wirklich herausragend und besonders in der doch Recht langweiligen Fußgängerzone. Es ging sehr schnell und sieht auch sehr schön angerichtet aus. Preis ist nicht günstig aber die Qualität ist auch sehr gut von daher einigermaßen okay und durch das nette Personal und das Ambiente doch gerechtfertigt. Klare Empfehlung 👍🏻

Ich bewerte hier nur den Sushi Kochkurs, nicht das Restaurant! Ich hatte einen Sushi Exclusiv Kurs über Jochen Schweizer für 149€ gebucht. Der Kochkurs findet in einem Durchgang, wo ein Tisch aufgebaut ist statt, ist ok aber auch nicht schön. Unser „Sushimeister“ hat sich bemüht, aber für Fortgeschrittene war der Kurs nichts. Reste/Mülleimer gab es nur einen auf dem Tisch für 6 Personen, Küchenrollen oder Abputztücher waren erst nach Nachfragen vorhanden. Nachfrage ob man noch etwas Lachs haben kann wurde verneint (zu wenig da), braucht man noch für das Tagesgeschäft. In der Anzeige heißt es: Zertifikat: Nach Abschluss des Kurses erhältst du ein angesehenes Zertifikat, das deine Expertise im fortgeschrittenen Sushi-Machen bestätigt. Das versprochen Zertifikat und die Rezepte wurden auch nie zurückgeschickt! Also ich kann den Kochkurs nicht empfehlen, für das Geld bekommt man auch einen Kurs in einer professionellen Umgebung.

Das Essen war lecker, der Service 1a.

Ich bin kein Fan vom neumodische bestellen per smartphone. Mir fehlt da der persönliche Kontakt zu den Mitarbeiter:innen. Essen war teils teils. Ambiente fand ich ganz gemütlich.

Wir waren dort zum Candle Light Dinner. Das Event haben wir zuvor gebucht. Das Ambiente war sehr schön, das Team sehr freundlich. Das Essen schmeckte sehr gut und zwischen den vier Gängen war immer eine optimal lange Pause. Die Toiletten waren sehr sauber, lediglich etwas veraltet. Es hat uns sehr sehr gut gefallen.

Essen ist Klasse aber die Smoothie's sind ein Scam. 70% Eiswürfel 30% Smoothie. Service gibt es eigenen keinen da online bestellt wird. Jedoch ist das Ambiente einmalig

Ich war schon ein paar Mal hier. Beim ersten Mal fand ich es furchtbar, aber ich bin mit zwei Freunden hingegangen, um ihnen ihre Meinung zu sagen. Das Essen ist versalzen und sehr fettig, und die Getränke sind nicht der Rede wert. Eine Freundin von mir hatte einen Kurkuma-Latte und konnte ihn nicht trinken, weil viel zu viel Kurkuma drin war. Also, so schlimm ist es gar nicht.

Getränke und Essen sind für die Qualität und Größe komplett überteuert. Wir warteten dazu noch über eine Stunde auf 2 Burger. Pommes waren fast kalt und der Burgerwecken trocken und bröselig. Auf der Speisekarte sieht alles wunderbar aus (Bilder mit KI erstellt), aber McDonalds-Qualität bekommt man. Das war sicher das letzte Mal

Ich war heute in diesem Restaurant essen und bin leider ziemlich enttäuscht. Schon beim Bestellen ist mir aufgefallen, dass die Burger auf der Speisekarte mit KI-generierten Bildern beworben werden. Diese sehen spektakulär aus haben aber mit der Realität absolut nichts zu tun 😂. Der Burger den ich bekommen habe sah völlig anders aus, lieblos angerichtet und qualitativ weit entfernt von dem was versprochen wurde. Geschmacklich war es leider genauso enttäuschend Das Chicken war trocken, zäh und schmeckte eher wie eine Schuhsohle. Der Dip zu den Süßkartoffel Pommes dazu wirkte unappetitlich als hätte schon jemand darin herumgerührt. Für mich war das leider ein kompletter Reinfall.

Das Essen war gut, die Bedienung freundlich und die Playlist hat mir sehr gefallen! Allerdings ist mir ein Fehler beim Wechselgeld unterlaufen, den ich erst nach dem Verlassen des Restaurants bemerkte.

Ich war spontan am Mittag hier und wurde sehr herzlich empfangen. Toll das ich auch um 14:30 problemlos Essen bestellen konnte. Das Hula besticht durch einen moderne Flair im Industriestyle, was man von außen gar nicht erwartet. Bestellt habe ich einen Smoothie (lecker!) und low Carb sushi. Da ich am Magen operiert bin für mich ein Lotto Gewinn das sowas angeboten wird. Fazit: lecker und gesund! Toppings können zusätzlich gewählt werden (hatte die spicy sauce). Ich habe bequem über Qr-Code bestellt, so konnte ich in Ruhe stöbern. Ob man auch beim Service direkt bestellen kann weiß ich leider nicht. Zumindest hoffe ich es, da nicht jede Generation Handy ist 🥸. Fazit: ich komme wieder ! Tolle Location wäre toll wenn ihr mehr Richtung Bodensee kommen könntet Friedrichshafen fehlt definitiv so eine Location!

Wir waren zum Candlelight Dinner im Hula Mula in Tuttlingen. Beim Betreten des Restaurants waren wir positiv überrascht von der sehr schönen Atmosphäre im Kerzenschein. Die Räumlichkeiten waren liebevoll hergerichtet und wir hatten einen angenehmen Tisch zu zweit. Auch der inkludierte Willkommensdrink war sehr schmackhaft. Die Vorspeise bestand aus vegetarischem Sushi mit paniertem Garnelenschwanz. Da ich an Zöliakie leide und glutenfrei essen muss, erhielt ich das Sushi ohne den frittierten Garnelenschwanz. Zusätzlich habe ich in der Küche nachgefragt, ob die Sauce über dem Sushi wirklich glutenfrei ist, da sie stark nach Sojasauce geschmeckt hat. Der zweite Gang, eine Maronensuppe, war ebenfalls sehr gut. Leider war die Wartezeit zwischen dem zweiten und dritten Gang sehr lang – wir haben etwa eine Stunde auf das Hauptgericht gewartet. Als dieses serviert wurde, waren wir enttäuscht. Obwohl ich das Restaurant im Vorfeld zweimal ausdrücklich darüber informiert hatte, dass ich glutenfrei essen muss, erhielt ich weder das reguläre Hauptgericht (Hackbraten) noch die vegetarische Alternative, sondern lediglich eine sehr kleine Portion aus gewürfelter Karotte, dünn geschnittenem Paprika und Roter Bete. Diese Portion war zudem kalt. Gerade bei einem Candlelight Dinner, das mit 70 € pro Person (ohne Getränke) ein besonderes und nicht alltägliches Erlebnis darstellt, hätten wir eine angemessene Hauptspeise erwartet – insbesondere dann, wenn das Restaurant vorab über eine medizinisch notwendige Glutenfreiheit informiert wurde und der volle Menüpreis berechnet wird. Das Dessert (Pumpkin Spice Crème brûlée) war geschmacklich gut. Beim Bezahlen haben wir dieses Feedback nochmals sachlich angesprochen. Leider habe ich bereits auf dem Heimweg gemerkt, dass das Essen offenbar nicht vollständig glutenfrei war, da ich in den folgenden drei Tagen starke Beschwerden durch eine Glutenreaktion hatte. Fazit: Sehr schönes Ambiente und gute Getränke, jedoch deutliche Defizite im Umgang mit angekündigten Glutenunverträglichkeiten. Gerade bei Zöliakie ist besondere Sorgfalt notwendig, die hier leider nicht ausreichend gegeben war. Dies ist meine persönliche Erfahrung und mein subjektives Empfinden.

Beim Betreten des Restaurants wird man von freundlichem Personal begrüßt. Die Online-Bestellung per QR-Code ist unkompliziert. Wir bestellten eine Lachs-Poka-Bowl, einen Bagel und ein Saftgetränk. Das Essen ist ok, aber nichts Besonderes. Schade, denn wir hatten etwas Besseres erwartet.

I thought the staff were great, polite, and friendly. However, the food was very bad, especially the chicken burger. The meat was dry and cold. It cost €45 for two small drinks and bad food, which was unacceptable.

The food is truly special and excellent. Exotic, freshly prepared, something you don't get everywhere. Healthy, delicious, and beautifully presented. Ordering with a QR code on your smartphone is convenient and quick. It might not be for everyone (older people, those not tech-savvy, people with disabilities, people without smartphones, or anyone who doesn't want to stare into the device while eating). It makes it a bit impersonal, but it's efficient and saves staff. You can also call the staff to your table if you have any questions – via your smartphone. It also works perfectly. You could also walk three steps to the counter and ask directly. I visited Tuttlingen and went there twice. And if I had stayed longer, I probably would have gone a third time.

We booked a sushi course at Hula Mula in Tuttlingen on August 9, 2025, for €90 per person. The course itself wasn't bad. Everything was well explained and demonstrated. What annoys us is that we were told we would receive all the instructions (special ingredients and tools) and a certificate by email. We called them for the fourth time today, September 7, 2025, and were told for the fourth time that they can't keep up. Seven people took the course, and they're all on forms where you just have to enter your name. That takes so much time? We're extremely disappointed and therefore don't recommend the sushi courses to anyone.

So I don't understand all the good reviews at all. 🫣 The place is extremely dirty; the sofas are covered in dirt and crumbs from guests over the past six months. The floor looks like it hasn't been mopped in years. Drinks come in dirty glasses, and you have to wait forever for everything. And to top it all off, they sell clothes lying around on an empty counter, which doesn't really contribute to a pleasant atmosphere. It could be made really nice, but this place desperately needs cleaning and maintenance. 🫣 I won't go back there again.

The best thing for me is that I've now found an even better alternative to Starbucks, and in Tuttlingen, too. I can finally enjoy my iced latte with almond milk and lavender 🥰 For me, Hula Mula is definitely one of the best spots in Tuttlingen – whether for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a sushi class. Average bowls. Unfortunately, we were in another bowl restaurant in Tuttlingen and in comparison this one was quite disappointing. The bowls were fine, but they lacked a bit of creativity in the ingredients. Fine for a meal when everywhere else is closed.

Since most of the reviews here are very good, I don't want to go out on a limb with my 3-star rating. However, for me, the price-performance ratio of the bowl wasn't right at all. Simply putting five ingredients together in a box doesn't make a good meal for me. I could have made the meal just like that (or better) without knowing how to cook. It probably fits the concept, but I felt it was missing a bit of attention (spices, flavor). The sauce tasted more like a ready-made sauce. Next time I'd order sushi/dumplings here; they look a bit more appealing. The staff was friendly.

We were in the café with a group of 10 people, so it was a large group, which certainly generates a lot of business. Unfortunately, the visit was very disappointing. I wanted to bring an ice cream for my little daughter (I had bought it from an ice cream parlor outside), and we were strictly forbidden to do so. No exceptions, no accommodations, not even for a small child. I find this completely incomprehensible and unfriendly. Especially in the restaurant industry, a certain degree of flexibility and customer focus should be a given, especially when you have so many guests. This was definitely the last time for us. A real shame!

Hmm! A great place to enjoy. Even though you place your order contactlessly, you can feel the love and passion in the food. The ingredients were all very fresh. The two team members were also very attentive and had a very pleasant demeanor. I particularly enjoyed the lavender latte macchiato. Very well balanced and with a delicious espresso. Disappointing and expensive for what you get on your plate... I don't recommend the sushi platter with fish, half of which is surimi... completely dried seaweed, the combinations and taste really not up to par. All for 24.95 for the platter... A glass of water costs 2.95 euros.

It's beautifully decorated in there, and quiet and relaxing. If you place an order and write a comment about it, it is usually ignored. The food is a matter of luck whether it tastes good or not one day and then bland and bland the next. The Hula Mula is a wonderful place to come together, talk in a relaxed atmosphere or study in a concentrated manner. I was able to successfully study for my final exams here while enjoying delicious bagels and a variety of coffee specialties. I am particularly impressed by the modern ordering system, which enables quick and uncomplicated ordering. Whether it's for a study session or a meeting with friends - I always enjoy coming here! 🥰😍

We spontaneously went for lunch. There was almost nothing going on, but the waiting times for food were very long...that was certainly due to the concept and the huge offer. Unfortunately, none of this had anything to do with Hawaii. Neither with the food nor the ambience. The staff was very friendly. You can order via a QR code. Das Essen so lala Gurken leider lädschig Mang unreif Avocado 🥑unreif…. Lieblos Sojasauce drüber gegossen, das wars… Eigentlich ein witziger Laden - aber mangelhafte Produkte!!!!! Toilette auch schmutzig gewesen der Papierkorb quillte über. Schade! Einzig die freundliche Bedienung erhält einen Stern. Und die Sitzgelegenheiten sind auch gut. Junges Team völlig überfordert- Falls oben aufgeführte Punkt verbessert werden, wäre es wunderbar!

Leider können wir das Restaurant nach dieser Erfahrung nicht weiterempfehlen.

We (me and my partner) attended a sushi course, originally we bought it as an experience from Jochen Schweizer. We got a lot of tips and were also able to make different types of sushi ourselves. The ingredients were fresh and the result was delicious! We would highly recommend the sushi course at Hula Mula.

Great bowl, great coffee, not necessarily cheap, but the quality also has its price. However, as people over 60, we had problems ordering via the QR code. The next time we visit the city center we will probably prefer places with “normal” service and ordering processes in the old school style using the menu. It's a shame, but technology inevitably outpaces us seniors in all areas🥺😪

Uncomplicated restaurant with seating in the pedestrian zone of Tuttlingen. We ordered at the table using our cell phone and quickly received our food, which we enjoyed. The sushi was fresh and the rice bowl was well filled with toppings. The selection of other small dishes such as bagels and tarte flambée as well as some salads also looked convincing. Unfortunately our table was a bit sticky, so it was a bit uncomfortable. Maybe we should have sat down in the friendly interior. All in all, we were satisfied and full, and the Hula Mula is recommended for a light snack.

The place to be for breakfast in Tuttlingen. Super delicious breakfast. We had brunch and there was something delicious about everything. Omlette, pancakes, bagels, yoghurt, various spreads, sausage, cheese and, upon request, seconds (if necessary). Everything was fresh and really good! Service was friendly and it is beautifully decorated. Any time!

My friend organized a real dinner as a surprise for me and my best friends. There were 6 different dishes, it was crazy what ideas the employees came up with. I can only recommend everything, they respond to requests and are always polite. The decoration and how the dinner was prepared was simply beautiful. We'd love to come back :)

It's been a while since I've been back and I have to say I'm really disappointed. The sushi was good and the price was ok too. However, for me personally the burger was a disgrace. With a 12€ burger you expect a little more than what you see in the pictures. Unfortunately, the chicken “patty” was very disappointing. The taste was good, but it really didn't fit the price/performance ratio at all.

The sushi was delicious, but the service could have been better. It was necessary to ask to bring the sauce, which was brought almost empty. There were no napkins on the table. We reserved a table, but when we arrived, the waiters had not prepared the hall to receive people. Something was constantly rearranged, wiped. It was unpleasant to eat in such an environment.

I went to Hula for the first time today and I'm totally satisfied. The welcome from the two service staff was super friendly and the food was really tasty. Price-wise, it's also completely okay. Ordering with the tablets is something different - and as soon as the order was ordered, it was served at the table. The concept is just great 👍 keep it up 👏 I'll be back….

Very good food, I love the bowls with rice. There are also tarte flambées, filled bagles, sushi, salads, burgers and much more. I also found the avocado burger delicious, the meat was of high quality. The ingredients are always fresh, but eating such large burgers is always a challenge and the home made lemonade is also super refreshing. Essen und Drinks sind gut, die Atmosphäre ist entspannt. Die ruhige Lage sorgt für eine angenehme Stimmung, auch wenn es etwas weniger frequentiert ist.

Das Essen ist sehr einfach und den Preis nicht wert. Ambiente ist leider unangenehm, Kabel hängen von der Decke, Tische und Sitzpolster sind dreckig und abgenutzt...Schade! Die Idee mit den Blumen und dem Hawaii Feeling ist gut, aber trotzdem könnte es gepflegter ausschauen. Das Personal ist sehr nett.

Ich besuche regelmäßig Ihr Café;) Ich probiere wirklich gerne neue Gerichte und Desserts aus und entdecke neue Geschmacksrichtungen beim Essen. Das Abendessen bei Kerzenschein war besonders wunderbar, dank der Pianistin Alyssia und dem Küchenpersonal!!!

Der hintere Teil des Restaurants ist sehr groß und das Ambiente sowie die Musik waren sehr angenehm. Die Bowl sowie der Burger mit Süßkartoffel Pommes waren sehr lecker, wobei die Süßkartoffel Pommes deutlich versetzt vom Burger kam, was leider etwas schade war. Trotzdem war der Besuch lohnenswert und wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren in letzter Zeit öfter hier & was die Qualität der Speisen und Getränke angeht echt zufrieden. Preislich etwas gehobener aber dafür alles frisch und lecker. Zum Sitzen ist es hier auch sehr gemütlich, jedoch sind die Tische teilweise ungepflegt. Deko auf dem Tisch sucht man vergeblich. Der Service ist eher etwas distanziert, viel mehr wie hallo und tschüss ist leider nicht drin. Auch wird beim Servieren nicht gefragt ob alles soweit passt, geschweige denn werden leere Teller (die offensichtlich am Rand des Tisches stehen) abgeräumt. Servietten oder fehlendes Besteck gibt es z.T. nur auf Nachfrage (was sich mit dem Tablet schwierig gestaltet😅), insbesondere wenn man in einem abgelegeneren Teil des Restaurants sitzt. Was ebenso gar nicht geht ist die Toilette: dunkel, dreckig, z. T. Defekt. Passt nicht zum „noblen“ Eindruck den das Restaurant erwecken will. Wir kommen sicherlich wieder, weil das Essen sehr lecker ist, aber so ein paar Feinheiten können echt noch verbessert werden.

Ich war heute zum dritten Mal da, es fühlt sich aber jedes Mal an wie zum ersten Mal: extrem viel Auswahl, alles frisch und liebevoll zubereitet, ich bin jedes Mal aufs Neue überrascht! Wir hatten heute den Hula Brunch für 3 Personen und wurden alle pappsatt. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich, inmitten der ganzen Pflanzen und Kaminen lässt es sich super abschalten. Ich hab mich gefühlt wie im Urlaub und komme auf jeden Fall wieder!

Ich bin mittlerweile eine Stammkundin vom Hula Mula geworden. Sobald man den Laden betritt wird man direkt sehr herzlich und offen empfangen. Das Ambiente ist einfach nur zum wohlfühlen, sehr detailreich und gemütlich. Beim Essen wurde es dann schwierig, weil man sich bei der vielseitigen und großen Auswahl fast schon zusammenreißen musste nicht alles zu bestellen. Die Getränke und das Essen kam sehr schnell und hat hervorragend geschmeckt. Die Portionen sind großzügig und man wird gut satt. Auch das Bestellen mit den Tablets war sehr unkompliziert und das Personal war super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich bleibe eine ganz schöne Weile Stammkundin. :)

Schönes Lokal, Sushi war sehr lecker nur die Platte für 2 Personen war etwas zu wenig und wir mussten länger auf das essen warten und lange vor den leeren Tellern sitzen, obwohl das Restaurant nur halb voll war. Durch die Bestellung am Tablett ist der Service sehr unpersönlich.
