I once heard that the stand across the street is supposed to be much better...and I was also very disappointed that the large glass bowls of pickled vegetables weren't there recently...the food was still delicious, especially the rice with chicken skewers<3

Every time I eat here I feel like a winner

I placed the order via Lieferando. For 94 minutes the app said: “Order is being prepared”. In the end, the order only arrived after exactly two hours - cold and completely soggy, of course. Wait two hours for an order? That's what everyone really wants! And if that wasn't enough, the burger tasted strange, so I looked inside and lo and behold: the lettuce was already half rotten. It's nice to see how much appreciation you receive as a customer here.

There are products for every part of the chicken, boned, boneless, liver, drumstick, schnitzel, etc. There are also options such as pasta, rice, salad etc. on the side. We paid 10€ for half chicken, fries, sauces and soda. It is a popular place where there is constant circulation. We waited about five minutes for an empty table. 😂😂😂🤣🤣🥰🤗

The chicken here is ALWAYS of the same quality, juicy and delicious! The garlic dip is also recommended.

A very satisfying meal at a reasonable price and quantity. The food was delicious in every bit especially the rice and the spicy tangy side dip. A really peaceful, relaxing and friendly atmosphere to enjoy a meal.

It used to be a very good place to eat chicken but over the years the prices have just gone through the roof. Fewer customers are also rush hour in the restaurant. Half a chicken for 10 euros and 3 chicken skewers for 15.99 euros is simply too much.

Had dinner there last night, delicious as always, the chicken shop I trust. Even if the store is on fire, the salesperson at the checkout keeps his nerve and remains professional.

Great place to eat for lunch, but very very packed if you go for weekend dinner. The pickle jar on each table goes really well with the chicken!!

Food was ok, chicken was smaller. For a little more bread and a little more sauce they charged me between 40-50 cents, so they always asked for money for everything. Otherwise it was okay.

I ordered a chicken skewer there last night and got chicken wings. The taste was still good, but the meat was very “slippery” and limp. If I ever go there again, I'll order something else.

I was at HühnerHaus 36 with my family. Unfortunately, we were treated very badly by the woman wearing a headscarf who works at the cash register. She was extremely rude, rude and aggressive in her answers. It seemed like she didn't feel like working. If that's the case, she should give her place to someone else. Actually walked four miles to get there but it was well worth it. Super nice staff, the chicken is very delicious, should have bought more come to think of it , well worth a visit. It is in kreuzberg which is well impressive too

Hello, we drove all over town just to eat here, hadn't been there for a long time and were looking forward to some juicy chicken with side dishes. Our appetite was snuffed out when my partner found a long wavy hair in the food. This is just disgusting. We brought the food back. When we spoke to the boss on the second attempt, he wanted to give us the money back. We refused!!! Hey guys, there are enough stores in town! NEVER AGAIN HERE!!! Very unfortunate!

Absolutely terrible experience. I ordered chicken wings, along with a group I was with, and the wings tasted rancid and smelled off. I gave feedback to the staff but they appeared to be in denial. I would highly recommend avoiding this place.

Chicken House better than City Chicken

We went to the chicken house for dinner today because we thought we'd try it. Unfortunately we were greeted very rudely by the lady working there. Since we were apparently there a little early in the day and everything wasn't ready yet despite the shop being open, we also got the feeling that we weren't wanted. It's actually strange since we were definitely there half an hour after the store opened. We both ordered Menu 44 (chicken leg with rice and salad) for a whopping €13.99. Each with a Fanta Exotic drink. We waited about half an hour for our food, which was okay because we were told beforehand that “the oil was probably not hot enough yet”🤔 When we finally picked up our food at the counter after 30 minutes, the first disappointment came. There were no sauces with the menu and the plate was pretty carelessly prepared. The chicken leg turned out to be a normal chicken steak (which you can buy ready-seasoned at the meat counter in every oriental supermarket for around 5-6 euros a kilo). What can I say? For the price I expected more. The chicken really didn't taste fresh and was really cheap and stringy quality. Absolutely no seasoning and not a bit crispy. In some places inside it wasn't even properly through. The rice was the best thing on the whole plate but it was only a three out of ten. The salad was absolutely nothing special and was just slapped on the plate and served with a little vinegar and oil. Really just the cheapest salad you can get. I'm really fair with my reviews, but this was pretty much the worst thing I've ever been served in my entire life. What I also find very surprising is that you can only pay in cash in this store and not with a card. In a clever way, there is of course the option of withdrawing money directly in the store from a specially designed ATM for high fees. I don't know whether the owners of the store collect commission for this, but I find it very questionable and a very dubious business model. I often like to eat in Arabic and Turkish restaurants but I will definitely never go there again. For that kind of money I would have preferred to go to the Thai restaurant, which is right next door. As I was leaving the chicken house, I saw what the people there were getting for the same money and, to be honest, I was very jealous. Unfortunately, chicken house in Kreuzberg never again🤷‍♂️

For €10 you get half a chicken, rice and 2 sauces (as of September 2024) without drinks. For me it was very tasty and reasonably priced. NEGATIVE: No card payment!!!

Fries were good, the garlic sauce was good as always. Salad also good, chicken a bit small. The chicken boulette was horrible. I ordered a kids menu and the boulette came. It was my fault because I didn't check the bill. But didn't get an invoice. Well, it didn't matter and then there wasn't even a lollipop for the four-year-old son. Unfriendly staff and shouting Volt drivers complaining about wrong orders are not that great. Years ago it was much better and also much friendlier.

I just ordered 2 burgers from Wolt. One burger had a large piece of plastic(!!) in it. The other thing, I'm guessing, is mold. See pictures. Incredibly disgusting. I'm really wondering how things are going in your kitchen, hygiene doesn't seem to exist. NEVER AGAIN

Probably the best chicken in town. You can taste the difference to other products. They taste like fish. The goods here do not come from Stolle. It's quick and it's not that crowded. If you want good and real chicken, this is the place for you. Highly recommended.

Large with lots of tables inside and outside. Service, depending on the volume, was friendly and quick. Inside there is a special wall painting. The prices are still affordable. It tastes good and is always fresh at peak times.

I ordered a salad with chicken breast. The salad was completely covered in cocktail sauce, even though there is no dressing shown in the menu photo. When we commented on this, we were told that it was there with cocktail sauce. I then removed the sauce as best I could. In addition to the cocktail sauce, the salad was also swimming in vinegar and oil, so a 1 cm thick soup formed at the bottom of the plate. I didn't even finish half of the salad, unfortunately the acidity makes the salad inedible.

I am still shocked by the unfriendliness of the lady with a turquoise headscarf and robe who served us. She asked us stubbornly and annoyedly what we wanted. When I asked for a receipt after paying, she just said with a wave: Yes, yes, it'll be there straight away and served an older lady. When I asked again for the receipt when picking up the chicken plate, she again answered in annoyance that it was in progress and then threw it on the counter. I then told her straight to her face that she could say it in a friendlier way. Then she actually said with a grin: "Yes, yes, no problem. It's fine." And continued to serve when nothing happened. What a rude person. No apology or understanding of her behavior. Arrogance at 100 percent! Incomprehensible! Oh yes, the chicken was very small - just a classic factory farm chicken with little meat on it and the rice was okay, but unfortunately nothing special. The salad was a disaster: it was just carelessly cut lettuce leaves and tomato pieces with a little vinegar and oil drizzled on top. The salad in the hospital is tastier when sliced, marinated and mixed. All in all, it's a disappointment considering it's such an old-established shop. Ultimately, the rude cashier who really acted like she was the arrogant boss of the store (maybe she was) was the absolute cherry on top of it all. A really absolute NOT RECOMMENDATION (!!!) I'm still pissed that I spent money on such a treatment - and it wasn't worth it even for the chicken. It's a shame, but it can also keep new customers away. Even if I would give the food a 2 to 2.5, the unacceptable service here definitely means a 1 star rating is more than justified as a sign of the incredibly rude and arrogant service.

I was there again after a long time to eat a delicious chicken, but I was disappointed. Prices were very high, the chicken was reduced in size and unfortunately it didn't taste good. The price is good, everything is expensive, but the size of the portion and the taste have to be right. Ambience looked very run down.

My personal favorite grilled chicken for years. The half chickens have had perfect quality for years. The house is crispy, the meat is tender and it tastes...mhhh heavenly. We are happy to travel 26 kilometers and enjoy the best chicken in Berlin. The service is always friendly. You can only pay in cash, but there is an ATM machine in the store, simply brilliant! And you definitely can't miss the garlic cream, it's simply amazing. Enjoy it!! By the way, you can also take away...

Unfortunately my experience today was very negative: I ordered 2 half chickens to take away. The next step would be an old shoe sole: the animals were completely over it, charred, withered! Unfortunately, we only noticed when we were unpacking at home... Guys, you shouldn't afford this foolishness!
