I've known it for a long time and used to enjoy eating there. But a lot has changed. Price more expensive, chicken smaller.

My go to chicken restaurant every time I’m in the area. Delicious meals with variety of options. You can also find traditional Turkish deserts. Friendly staff and quick service. Great price for value.

For €10 you get half a chicken, rice and 2 sauces (as of September 2024) without drinks. For me it was very tasty and reasonably priced. NEGATIVE: No card payment!!!

Fries were good, the garlic sauce was good as always. Salad also good, chicken a bit small. The chicken boulette was horrible. I ordered a kids menu and the boulette came. It was my fault because I didn't check the bill. But didn't get an invoice. Well, it didn't matter and then there wasn't even a lollipop for the four-year-old son. Unfriendly staff and shouting Volt drivers complaining about wrong orders are not that great. Years ago it was much better and also much friendlier.

I just ordered 2 burgers from Wolt. One burger had a large piece of plastic(!!) in it. The other thing, I'm guessing, is mold. See pictures. Incredibly disgusting. I'm really wondering how things are going in your kitchen, hygiene doesn't seem to exist. NEVER AGAIN

Nice restaurant with a nice atmosphere. However, the food didn't really blow me away. Some of it is also overpriced.

Probably the best chicken in town. You can taste the difference to other products. They taste like fish. The goods here do not come from Stolle. It's quick and it's not that crowded. If you want good and real chicken, this is the place for you. Highly recommended.

Here you can eat great half chickens or as the Berliners say "half broilers", very crispy and deliciously seasoned. If you like chicken, this is the place for you - good for sitting outside.

Large with lots of tables inside and outside. Service, depending on the volume, was friendly and quick. Inside there is a special wall painting. The prices are still affordable. It tastes good and is always fresh at peak times.

A must for fans of chicken and co. I don't really understand why the same concept has to be available again 100m further away as a snack bar, but there is definitely a reason.

I ordered a salad with chicken breast. The salad was completely covered in cocktail sauce, even though there is no dressing shown in the menu photo. When we commented on this, we were told that it was there with cocktail sauce. I then removed the sauce as best I could. In addition to the cocktail sauce, the salad was also swimming in vinegar and oil, so a 1 cm thick soup formed at the bottom of the plate. I didn't even finish half of the salad, unfortunately the acidity makes the salad inedible.

I am still shocked by the unfriendliness of the lady with a turquoise headscarf and robe who served us. She asked us stubbornly and annoyedly what we wanted. When I asked for a receipt after paying, she just said with a wave: Yes, yes, it'll be there straight away and served an older lady. When I asked again for the receipt when picking up the chicken plate, she again answered in annoyance that it was in progress and then threw it on the counter. I then told her straight to her face that she could say it in a friendlier way. Then she actually said with a grin: "Yes, yes, no problem. It's fine." And continued to serve when nothing happened. What a rude person. No apology or understanding of her behavior. Arrogance at 100 percent! Incomprehensible! Oh yes, the chicken was very small - just a classic factory farm chicken with little meat on it and the rice was okay, but unfortunately nothing special. The salad was a disaster: it was just carelessly cut lettuce leaves and tomato pieces with a little vinegar and oil drizzled on top. The salad in the hospital is tastier when sliced, marinated and mixed. All in all, it's a disappointment considering it's such an old-established shop. Ultimately, the rude cashier who really acted like she was the arrogant boss of the store (maybe she was) was the absolute cherry on top of it all. A really absolute NOT RECOMMENDATION (!!!) I'm still pissed that I spent money on such a treatment - and it wasn't worth it even for the chicken. It's a shame, but it can also keep new customers away. Even if I would give the food a 2 to 2.5, the unacceptable service here definitely means a 1 star rating is more than justified as a sign of the incredibly rude and arrogant service.

Staff super unfriendly don't seem to want to work and the food is ok!

I was there again after a long time to eat a delicious chicken, but I was disappointed. Prices were very high, the chicken was reduced in size and unfortunately it didn't taste good. The price is good, everything is expensive, but the size of the portion and the taste have to be right. Ambience looked very run down.

So I would definitely not recommend going to the restaurant. It's better to go to the bistro opposite with the parking spaces much better in taste, delicious feeling simply better

My personal favorite grilled chicken for years. The half chickens have had perfect quality for years. The house is crispy, the meat is tender and it tastes...mhhh heavenly. We are happy to travel 26 kilometers and enjoy the best chicken in Berlin. The service is always friendly. You can only pay in cash, but there is an ATM machine in the store, simply brilliant! And you definitely can't miss the garlic cream, it's simply amazing. Enjoy it!! By the way, you can also take away...

Unfortunately my experience today was very negative: I ordered 2 half chickens to take away. The next step would be an old shoe sole: the animals were completely over it, charred, withered! Unfortunately, we only noticed when we were unpacking at home... Guys, you shouldn't afford this foolishness!

The half chicken was the best thing I've eaten so far. Been there several times. The restaurant is nothing special and the service is not outstanding either. But the food can only be recommended. As far as I know you can only pay with cash on site. Today 5/5 stars :) As always, it's time to test it out for yourself and form your own opinion :)

The dishes taste good, the garlic and spicy paste are delicious. My favorite is No. 10 with the chicken meatballs. In my opinion, it used to be a little better and fresher in terms of the overall package. The prices have now increased significantly. Otherwise recommended for chicken lovers, quick preparation and free pickled vegetables at every table.

For €10 + €2 Coke you get a reasonable portion here and the chicken was fresh, juicy and tasty. I particularly liked the ketchup here. Ordering took less than 10 minutes and the people here are super nice. In my opinion, there would be more to it visually. Definitely worth a visit.

Today I was with families at HühnerHaus 36. We are treated very badly by the woman with a headscarf who works at the cash register. She really has no idea how to be with customers, she is very cheeky and unfriendly when answering and very aggressive even when she doesn't feel like working. She should actually give up her position for someone else. As Muslims you should actually give a good impression of your character بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم "كنتم خير أمةً أخرجت للناس " حسبنا الله و نعم الوكيل But despite the dams the food was ok

I've had dinner here several times. I have to be honest: I don't know any place that serves such delicious, juicy half chicken. The skin is super seasoned and always crispy. The garlic and hot dip are simply bomb. You can also choose between delicious rice or fries, which are also good. The price is also adequate. It used to be cheaper, but a plate for €10 is still perfectly fine. Add a drink and you have to take an extra bill with you. Unfortunately, card payment is not possible here. It's simply no longer relevant these days. That's why only 2 stars for service, even though the employees are friendly. At least there is an ATM right in the store. I really like this store and am always happy to recommend it.

The food is delicious. Prices are reasonable. The staff is very friendly. From ordering to the completion of the food, everything is very quick and organized. The ambience is not great. So maybe very suitable for a delicious meal with friends, but not suitable for a romantic dinner.

Super tasty broilers! Really the reference in Berlin. To take away or stand, simply take the snack from the chicken house at Görli. Unfortunately, cashless payments are not possible :'-(

The chicken is very small, but very juicy inside and tastes very good. However, there is no special breading like the competition usually uses. Fries are good and sufficient, but I didn't like the seasoning used at all, because it is the usual snack bar seasoning and should be replaced for its own taste. The chicken wings for 9 euros for 8 pieces are quite expensive and cannot be justified, but they taste very good. Burgers are absolutely not recommended, frozen patty, ketchup and mayo, bad bread, etc. Either you make a burger good or leave it alone. Coleslaw tastes like it came from the supermarket and probably bought it. There are also a lot of dishes on offer, although I believe that they don't add any added value, but rather reflect dimensions. Overall, it's certainly a good chicken and for 10 euros with fries it's not expensive anymore due to the prices in Berlin. The bottom line is that I wouldn't eat anything there except chicken and you don't have to travel there specifically for it, but if you're nearby and feel like it, you can eat.

Chicken is super tasty, the skewers are no longer = frozen goods, the price increases are exorbitantly high: 1/2 chicken & rice 10€, it's still okay! That's why I won't go there anymore, I can afford it, but I don't want to. There is no justification for the price increases, VAT. Increase doesn't count, you can only pay in cash ;)

Best chicken and delicious rice and homemade sauces. We even drive there from Köpenick. No long waiting times, but only cash payments, although there is an ATM in the store. In summer you can sit outside. Also ask about the flatbread 😉

12% Mehrwertsteuererhöhung = 40% Preiserhöhung? Verstehe ich nicht. Schade… eigentlich ein toller Laden gewesen.

Ich hätte nie gedacht, dass ich diesem Laden so wenige Sterne mal geben werde. Ich bin Kunde im Hühnerhaus seit 1995. Ich habe also so gut wie alles dort miterlebt. Die Eröffnung des Restaurants, die 99 Cent Aktion und alles weitere. Es gab Einführungen wo ich schon mit dem Kopf schütteln musste .. wie z.B. 20 Cent für ein Stück Brot. Auch musste ich miterleben wie das Hähnchen deutlich kleiner wurde mit der Zeit bzw. generell die Portionen an sich. Die Pommes Portionen wurden locker um 1/4 geschrumpft über die Zeit wenn nicht sogar fast um die Hälfte. Mit der neuesten Preiserhöhung ist für mich aber nun der Punkt erreicht, wo ich für mich entschieden habe, meine Besuche dort drastisch zu reduzieren. Ich war vor einigen Tagen dort essen und konnte meinen Augen nicht glauben. Die Standard Menüs von 8,50€ auf 10€ und wenn Salat dabei ist von 10€ auf 12,50€ !!! Ohne nähere Begründung .. von den Veggie Gerichten brauch man gar nicht anfangen .. für Reis und Gemüse knapp 10€ .. Die Mehrwertsteuererhöhung wurde von den Medien groß angekündigt und man wurde natürlich darauf vorbereitet .. zu erwähnen ist aber dass diese sich lediglich von 7% auf 19% erhöht hat. Das sind 12% mehr. Und auch nur für Speisen, die vor Ort verzehrt werden. Bei Nummer 44-46 Erhöhungen um 4€!! Wir haben hier teilweise Erhöhungen von 17-40%!!!!!! Ich habe den bösen Verdacht, dass hier großzügig aufgerundet wurde, um mehr Profit zu machen. Dies kann man zurzeit bei vielen Restaurants beobachten. Für Speisen to Go zahlt man übrigens die gleichen Preise, obwohl für diese weiterhin 7% Steuer gelten. Generell gab es extreme Preiserhöhungen in den letzten Jahren im Hühnerhaus .. Naja für mich steht fest, dass ich meine Besuche reduzieren werde. Wahrscheinlich nur noch 1 mal alle 3 Monate. Wenn nicht sogar seltener ab jetzt. Geschmacklich ist das Essen sehr gut 👍🏻

Man bekommt, was der Name erwarten lässt, und das in guter Qualität und fairem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Halbes Hähnchen und Hähnchenleber je mit Reis hatten wir, beides war frisch und gut gemacht, Portionsgröße top, die scharfe Soße ist selbstgemacht und auf den Tischen findet sich ein großer Topf mit eingelegtem Gemüse zur Selbstbedienung. Lohnt sich, wenn man Hähnchen essen will, vegetarische Optionen gibt es auch.

Knapp 2 Stunden auf die Bestellung über Lieferando gewartet. Essen war ok, jedoch Preis- Leistung für so einen Burger nicht gerechtfertigt. War womöglich das letzte mal, dass ich dort bestellt habe.

Titel: Enttäuschendes Erlebnis im Hühnerhaus an der Skalitzer Straße Als ich kürzlich das Hühnerhaus an der Skalitzer Straße in Kreuzberg besuchte, hatte ich leider eine äußerst negative Erfahrung gemacht. Von der Bedienung bis hin zum Essen war alles enttäuschend und ließ mich mit einem bitteren Geschmack zurück. Die Bedienung im Hühnerhaus war schlichtweg schlecht. Die Kellnerinnen waren unfreundlich und desinteressiert. Es schien, als ob sie lieber woanders wären und nicht in ihrem Job. Kein Lächeln, keine Begrüßung und keinerlei Aufmerksamkeit für die Gäste. Es war frustrierend, ständig nach ihrer Aufmerksamkeit zu suchen, um überhaupt bestellen zu können. Leider war das Essen im Hühnerhaus genauso enttäuschend wie der Service. Ich hatte Schnitzel bestellt, doch was auf meinem Teller landete, waren verbrannte und trockene Stücke Fleisch. Der Geschmack war einfach nur grauenhaft. Es schien, als ob das Essen schon lange in der Pfanne gelegen hatte und nicht frisch zubereitet wurde. Es war eine absolute Zumutung, so etwas serviert zu bekommen. Zusätzlich zu dem schlechten Essen und der unfreundlichen Bedienung war auch die Atmosphäre im Hühnerhaus nicht angenehm. Der Lärmpegel war unerträglich hoch, sodass man sich kaum unterhalten konnte. Die Einrichtung wirkte alt und abgenutzt, was dem Gesamteindruck des Restaurants keinen Gefallen tat. Alles in allem war mein Besuch im Hühnerhaus an der Skalitzer Straße in Kreuzberg eine große Enttäuschung. Die schlechte Bedienung, das schlechte Essen und die unangenehme Atmosphäre haben mich dazu gebracht, dieses Restaurant nicht weiterzuempfehlen. Es gibt definitiv bessere Optionen in der Umgebung, die einen Besuch wert sind.

Günstige und große Portionen mit tollem Hühnchen. Oft da gewesen und dauerhaft gutes Essen. Das eingelegte Gemüse auf den Tischen ist auch sehr gut. Der Service ist durch die Bestellung und Abholung am Tresen nichts besonderes, aber jedes mal nett. Der Laden ist zweckdienlich eingerichtet ohne Besonderheiten.

Das Essen war super aber es war mega kalt dort weil die Heizung wohl kaputt waren und wir dort mit Jacke sitzen mussten sehr unangenehm.

UNGLAUBLICH! Warnung nicht in dieses Restaurant gehen! Mein Mann hatte ein Tag nachdem er dieses Essen zu sich genommen hat, eine LEBENSMITTELVERGIFTUNG! Übelkeit, Erbrechen,Fieber. Das ist eine Frechheit, alte Ware an die Kunden zu verkaufen! DANKE für den Krankenhausbesuch.

Wir mögen das halbe Hähnchen weil die Haut so schmeckt und da wo keine Haut ist, mögen wir es, mit den Soßen zu essen, da es sonst sehr trocken ist. Meine Freundin hat heute 4 halbe Hähnchen zum mitnehmen geholt, damit wir das Zuhause gemütlich essen können. Leider waren keine Soßen dabei. Ohne Soßen ist es viel zu trocken, so dass wir nur die Stellen gegessen haben, wo die Haut war und den Rest konnten wir leider nicht mehr essen. Mit Ketchup probiert, aber keine Chance, das hat ebenfalls nicht geschmeckt. Wir haben nach langer Zeit wieder bei Hühnerhaus gekauft, aber der Service scheint nicht mehr dasselbe zu sein. Wir werden in der Zukunft nie wieder bei hühnerhaus einlaufen, das hat mich heute sehr geärgert!

Essen war ok, aber im Milchreis war ein Haar. Wir wurden angemacht, als ob es ganz normal wäre. Als ich ein Neues wollte, wurde mir gesagt, dass der Milchreis von jemand anderem gekocht wurde und sie es nicht rückerstatten können😕

Sehr leckere Brathähnchen vom Grill! Zu Stoßzeiten wird es sehr knapp mit den Tischen im Innenbereich. Das Menü wird vorab bestellt und bezahlt, später selbst abholen. Manchmal schwierig mit Parkplatz Suche. Kann man definitiv weiterempfehlen.

Wir haben heute ein halbes Hähnchen gekauft mit Reis und da waren Harre drinne im Reis empfehle es niemandem werde nie wieder von dort was Essen

War um 11:30 da habe den Kassierer gefragt ob die schon Frisches Hähnchen haben,er sagte ja.Aber das Hähnchen war definitiv vom Vortag,ein frisches Hähnchen kann nicht so einfach mit Finger anpacken wäre zu heiss und anhand das Fleisch am Knochen merkt man das auch wenn es kalt ist was zuvor 1 Minute auf Tisch Kamm!! Beilage als Pommes war sehr gut.

Menüs sind sehr klein geworden, Pommes waren kalt, man es als Kindermenü bezeichnen. Die Dame an der Kasse war sehr unhöflich und leider wie so bei einigen ... geht hier angeblich Kartenzahlung nicht, einen Kassenbon bekommt auch keiner, Rolle leer

Gutes Fast-Food mit orientalischen Beigeschmack. Kann sehr voll werden. Gute Küche und nettes Personal. Sehr zu empfehlen!
