Thank you for the wonderful holidays with the typical North Frisian weather, which we were able to spend in your holiday apartment in the Linde.

The staff is super friendly! Most importantly, the rooms are very clean! Unfortunately, they're not up to date. The mattresses need replacing, and a slightly larger TV would be nice.

I was in Meldorf for wing foiling. Since I was with someone, we decided to stay overnight. We had a large, clean, and quiet room. The service was very good, friendly, helpful, and uncomplicated. The restaurant is very inviting; they serve a bit of everything, and it was delicious. The atmosphere is very cozy, and the locals seem to enjoy meeting there. The breakfast was very nice in the restaurant, the filter coffee was excellent, everything was fresh, and, above all, they offered modern options for gluten-free options and dairy alternatives. I travel a lot and stay in hotels a lot...I'll definitely be back at the Linde.

We stayed at the hotel with our children; the rooms were clean and had everything you need. The decor matches the hotel well; it's very cozy. The breakfast was delicious and varied, and dinner in the restaurant downstairs was very tasty, with generous portions and excellent service. Overall, there's nothing to complain about. The staff and the cleaning staff were very child-friendly; everyone there was very nice :). We'd love to come back 😊

We had breakfast, and there was parking right in front of the hotel. The breakfast was excellent, especially the coffee specialties, which were included in the price. The buffet was constantly being restocked. Very friendly staff. There was plenty of time for breakfast.

We've had family celebrations there several times and have never been disappointed. Very delicious food, very friendly and attentive staff! We'll be back!

Nice hotel, stayed there for one night. The rooms are renovated but still a bit dated. But absolutely fine. Good service, breakfast was plentiful. Parking is plentiful, but not free. (Daily rate €3)

A family-run hotel with a restaurant where you'll always feel at home. The location is ideal, near the cathedral and right on the market square, yet it's still very quiet and relaxed. Whether you're just looking for a coffee, a good meal, or even an overnight stay, you'll feel welcome and right at home here. Highly recommended.

Very old rooms and much too expensive for the condition

The hotel is older, and that's perfectly fine. The restaurant and breakfast area is old but kept in good condition. We had booked a four-bed room for one night. This was in the next building. The room was clean though!! it's past its best. Chipped doors, corners etc., pleats are dirty and full of stains and the windows are cold at night. The bathroom is far too small for a four-bed room. Old hair dryer on the wall that doesn't work. Definitely not recommended for 170 a night. Breakfast is very tasty and rich! In my opinion, that takes the whole thing out of the equation and gives it just under 3 stars

Centrally located. Old half-timbered house. Steep stairs to the upper floors. Beds comfortable. Nice bright and clean rooms. However, very small TVs. Minimally larger than a tablet. It doesn't work at all. Breakfast is served buffet-style in the restaurant in the main building. Selection is ok. Nice cozy room. The food in the restaurant the evening before was also very tasty and large portions

Stop restaurant and one of the best wedding locations in the Zillertal. The idyllic guest garden, surrounded by fruit trees and blooming flowers, is the perfect place to unwind. The entire Linde team is characterized by warm hospitality and first-class service. I can highly recommend this house to anyone looking for an unforgettable stay in the Zillertal.

The sun was setting over the North Sea, the printing deadline at Eversfrank was dragging on, and this restaurant was recommended to me. I think the photo says it all. A cassis, a greeting from the kitchen, the delicious pan fish and an espresso later I'm posting these lines. I thought it was great. Just try it out.

This hotel is very well managed. Very friendly people, delicious breakfast buffet and really good food in the evening. Everything fine! The floor in my room in the neighboring building was very squeaky and I didn't like moving around in my room - that's one star less :)

Das Essen war gut, aber im höheren Preisniveau. Die Bedienung könnte freundlicher und vorallem aufmerksamer sein. Auf das Essen haben wir 1 Stunde gewartet und dass, obwohl das Restaurant nicht sehr voll war. Das geht gar nicht!

A traditional restaurant with high-quality homemade North German specialties. The service is attentive. Changing theme weeks, including cabbage, asparagus and Christmas goose.

We rented a holiday apartment for the weekend and ate in the restaurant in the evening. The Feroenwohnumg was large and completely fine. The food was great and the service was top notch. Absolutely recommended. We will certainly come back and wish the whole crew continued good luck and much success.

Were there for dinner. Delicious. I had the potato with sour cream and shrimp. As a greeting from the house there was freshly baked bread with a garlic dip.

Stayed in a family-run hotel for two nights. We felt extremely comfortable. Nice, friendly and attentive staff, great kitchen with all kinds of delicacies. We invite you to come back.

A somewhat outdated house. We happened to be there and were looking for somewhere to eat. The price-performance ratio was not satisfactory. The cabbage roulade was tasty, but too expensive at €18.90, the Königsberger meatballs were dry.

We had a stay together with our card game club: JAK96. We slept here for two nights and were on a trip to Heligoland. The hotel accommodation included breakfast and it was extensive and good. We also ate dinner at the hotel twice and it was also a positive experience. The staff was very accommodating. The room was on the small side, but all in all a hotel we would very much like to use again.

We were there for dinner. My three colleagues really enjoyed the food, but unfortunately I didn't at all. I probably made the wrong choice. Super friendly staff.

Zuerst einmal das Positive, es wird frisch gekocht und in den meisten Beteichen versteht der Koch sein Handwerk. Gestern waren wir erneut dort essen. Ein Essen (Pannfisch) war ok, das zweite Essen (Spargel mit Hollandaise und paniertem Schnitzel) allerdings ein Reinfall! Für den Preis von 35 Euro darf man erwarten, daß man ein perfektes Essen bekommt. 6 Spargelstangen (350 g zweifle ich an)...ok...aber das ALLE Spargelstangen nicht ordentlich geputzt waren, so das es holzige Fäden zieht geht gar nicht. Und die trockene Petersilie auf den Kartoffeln machte auch nicht wirklich Spass. Reklamiert ...und es kam keinerlei Reaktion. Sehr schade, waren schon öfter da, aber für die Zukunft überlegen wir uns das! Fehler können passieren...aber dann muss man sich entschuldigen und was anbieten. Für so ein Essen kann man nicht 35 Euro verlangen.

We went for brunch today. Rolls and generally the baked goods (at least) from yesterday. No toast, little choice. Cheapest juice (and probably diluted again), coffee from the thermos (!). Rice pudding not cooked through and completely sugary, lamb no longer smelled completely fresh. Cutlery looks like it was bought cheaply from Tedi next door. In short: catastrophic. For €33 a disastrous price/performance ratio. Tip: Get a decent coffee machine and bake fresh bread on Sundays and pay a little more attention to details, then guests will come back. So I can only advise everyone: every gas station has more to offer on Sundays.

Tja, was soll man da groß schreiben? Essen? War gut. Bedienung? War gut. Getränke? Gut und schnell gebracht. Ambiente? Okay. Lage? Gut und zentral. Parkplätze? Um die Ecke. Also? Ganz klar, 5 von 5 Punkten.

Wir waren als Gruppe (7 Personen) dort. Die Bedienung war flott und freundlich. Es gab besondere Gerichte, da gerade Kohlernte war. Ich hatte eine klassische Kohlroulade und sie war sehr gut! Auch die anderen Gerichte die die anderen aßen waren sehr gut! Sehr nett ist auch die Nachspeisenkarte, die kleine Eisgerichte mit mehreren Namen verbindet wie "Tante Waltraud", "Tante Frieda", etc.

Ein rundum gelungener Abend. Sehr freundliche Bedienung, ein schönes gemütliches Ambiente und das Essen vom Kinderteller bis zum Fischteller alles sehr lecker und gut angerichtet (Soßen extra und nicht das Essen überschwemmt). Preislich aber nicht das günstigste Restaurant.

Wir hatten uns so viel erwartet bei den teilweisen guten Bewertungen. Die Speisekarte klang auch gut.Ja,die Preise waren sehr hoch,teilweise höher als im teuren Hamburg.Die Chefin nahm die Bestellung auf.Eine Stunde warten bis das essen kam und dann noch falsch. anstatt Fischlingsmadaillons kamen die mehere Euro teuren Rehmadaillons. Ich kann keinen Rosenkohl vertragen,also bekam ich mal eben duch heißes Wasser gezogene Bohnen in einer kalten durchwachsenen Speckscheibe. 3 doch sehr unterschiedliche Stückchen Fleisch ,weit entfernt von zartem Reh.Da ich nicht noch einmal eine Stunde auf mein eigentliches Essen warten wollte ,habe ich das Reh zum Preis des Wildschweins genommen. Bei der Bezahlung war das aber nicht berücksichtig worden. meine Kohlroulade mit Specksauce kalt außer Haus,war warm und ohne Sauce. Aber nun hatten wir schon wieder die Parkuhr neu füttern müssen. Zeit spielt hier leider keine Rolle und ausgebucht war das Restaurant auch nicht. Wieso kann in so einem alten Restaurant soo viel schief gehen. Bald hätte ich es noch vergessen: Meine Frau hatte Fasanenbrust bestellt,selten hatte sie so ein zähes Wildgefügelgericht bekommen und dann noch in Goulaschform.

Wir haben im Oktober 2020 im Restaurant "Zur Linde Rogalla" in Meldorf zu Mittag gegessen. Die Karte hat viele regionale Gerichte und im Herbst gibt es natürlich viele interessante Wild Gerichte auf der Karte. Dazu kommen dann noch die Angebote von Kohlgerichten, da in der Gegend auf den Feldern viel Kohl angebaut wird. Obwohl im Saal wohl eine Hochzeit gefeiert wurde, mussten wir nicht übermäßig lange auf unser Essen warten. Das Essen war sehr schmackhaft, die Portionen von reeller Größe. Die Weinauswahl war recht gut. Die größte Besonderheit dieses Restaurants ist wohl das Ambiente aus der Zeit unserer Urgroßmütter mit alten Möbeln und Plüschsofa. Die Bedienung war freundlich. Wir haben uns auch diesmal sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

wir waren zum mittagessen am werktag in der linde. das essen ist gut, aber preis leistung steht in keinem verhältnis. es ist extrem teuer, und auch die getränkepreise sehrhoch, z.b. 05pils wird jetzt mit 5,00 euro berechnet unverschämt !!!!!!!!!!!! wir waren dann trotz gutschein mit 35 euro dabei

Eigentlich wollte ich nur am Abend einer Dienstreise schnell etwas essen. Ich wurde positiv überrascht. Es gab leckere regionale Küche, hier Wirsing Kohl. Bedienung war freundlich und die Einrichtung des Restaurants klassisch. Es war ein schöner Abend.

Im Rahmen einer Hochzeit wurde hier eine Suppe, sowie ein kalt-warmes Buffet angeboten. Es gab absolut nichts zu bemängeln, ob Rind- oder Schweinefleisch, beides perfekt gebraten. Auch die Beilagen wie Kroketten, Blumenkohl (mit selbst gemachter Hollandaise), oder der Spargel waren perfekt. Hier werden wir außer der Reihe definitiv wieder einkehren. Wer gut-bürgerliche Küche mag, sollte hier essen gehen...

Durch Zufall besuchten für in unserem Urlaub das kleine Städtchen Meldorf und entdeckten dabei das Hotel & Restaurant "Zur Linde", Die aufgeführten Speisen auf der Karte hörte sich sehr köstlich an. Wir wurden sehr freundlich von einer netten Kellnerin begrüßt diese ubergab uns auch noch die aktuelle Tageskarte "Spargelmenüs" woraufhin wir uns sehr schnell entschieden hatten. Die bestellten Gerichte waren SUPER und auch das empfohlene Dessert im kleinen Glas war ein ein toller Abschluss. Dieses Restaurant bietet auch für Vegetarier & Veganer ausgesuchte Speisen an und ist daher für jeden geeignet. Ein Beusch lohnt sich auf jedenfall.

Gemütliche Gaststube.Auch fürFeiern- Gruppen geignet mehrere Sähle unterterschiedliche Größen.Gehobene Gastronomie mit dementsprechenden Preisen.

Ich habe hier einen sehr guten Fischteller bekommen (mit dreierlei Sorten Meeresgetier und einem sehr guten Reis dazu). Auf der Speisekarte hätte man bei diesem Teller erwähnen können, dass da eine gehaltvolle Sauce drüberkommt, aber sei's drum, die war auch gut. Die Bedienung war nett.

Vi havde bestilt bord, da vi ved at når der er Kohltage, kan det være vanskeligt at få bord. Vi ville have lammehakse, og den var også i orden, men vi blev lidt skuffede over tilbehøret og nogle af kartoflerned var næsten rå, det har vi ikke været ude for på denne restaurant. Dejlig betjening. Vi kommer gerne igen.

Egal ob Brunch oder Mittag-/ Abendessen - die Qualität stimmt . lecker und nett präsentiert. Hier fühlt man sich gut aufgehoben, wenn man nicht nur lecker essen will, sondern richtig satt werden will, falls man alles aufißt.

As a vegan I was very pleased to see what they offer for vegans. I choose a burger with fries and sat outside with a fantastic view to the market square and the old cathedral. The food was delivered very fast for being fresh prepared. The chips ( fries ) were absolutely nicely spiced and made from sweet potatoes. The vegan burger quality was very good and nicely arranged into a nice tasting roll. You could really taste the quality of the food and the love that went into. The salad was very fresh and crunchy . If picky eaters would have no chance to moan. :) Eating this fantastic meal in that beautiful ambiente made it into a lovely afternoon in the historical part of Meldorf . As some people know "Meldorf is a hidden gem" in North Germany.

Der Charme des Interieurs ist toll Viele Einrichtungsgestände stammen wohl noch aus den 60ern. Zusammen mit dem guten Essen und der netten Bedienung hat man irgendwie das Gefühl eine Zeitreise in die Vergangenheit unternommen zu haben. Ich meine dies durchaus positiv, denn es gibt nicht mehr viele wirklich deutsche Restaurants die so herrlich gutburgerlich sind. Meldorf Besucher sollten hier einkehren und einen schönen Abend verbringen

In der Linde essen wir sehr gerne Schnitzel, vor allem während der Aktion " Schnitzel satt" im Frühjahr. Nettes älteres...

My wife and I stopped here for a quick but late lunch. The kitchen only serves lunch from 12-14 but they offer just a few items after 2 pm. The service was friendly and fairly quick. The baked potatoes were just right but fairly expensive.
