Restaurant - always a joy and great pleasure

No overnight stay, so I can't say anything about the rooms.

A friend's family stayed here and repeated! You always felt welcome and comfortable. Traveling with children and here too the hospitality is great! The restaurant is also recommended!

Not that great. By no means 4 stars. 2-3 are more suitable Everything was pretty rocky. Price performance just doesn't fit. Bathroom with moldy joints

Traditional family hotel, ideal for a short trip. The rooms in the hotel are a bit old, but they are absolutely clean, very spacious and have everything you need. There is even a sauna and a fitness room in the basement. It's also rather spartan, but perfectly adequate for doing a few exercises on the weekend. -Breakfast delicious! The selection is relatively normal, but everything on offer is of good quality and there are fresh fruits and vegetables -The location is a little outside the city, but within walking distance of the Ruhr and therefore ideal for walks. You can also get to the center by public transport or on foot -Staff is super accommodating and friendly! That was our highlight

A first impression often decides. If the greeting isn't that warm, it doesn't make a good impression. Room was nice and spacious. Mattresses nice and big. Absolutely fine for 2 nights.

The welcome was very warm, the room was in very good condition. Since we were there because of Böhse Onkelz, it didn't matter to us. The TV is very small. A tile is cracked. The door to the hallway slams shut very quickly and very loudly. Breakfast was sufficient and very tasty. The room was cleaned despite the short stay. Can recommend it

Negatively 1. Lack of refrigerator 2. Lack of air conditioning 3. The curtain in the bathroom 4. Expensive for the accommodation it offers. Booked the hotel for one night because of a concert. I have to be honest and say the rooms definitely don't meet 4 stars. The silicone joints in the shower are moldy and the holder is rotting away, it is dirty under the bed and the double bed moves apart with every movement so that at some point you end up lying on the bottom. Furthermore, the mattress is definitely sagging and needs to be replaced. All in all, the room just meets the 3 star standard, but in my opinion it's a long way from 4 stars. The breakfast wasn't convincing either. Empty items were not refilled and the selection was also very poor. The only pulse point is the restaurant.

Positive: Helpful staff and the night's sleep in the hotel. Negative: Rooms are getting old. Although relatively large, the facilities are simple. Mattresses and pillows too soft. Little water pressure in the shower. No air conditioning. Bad parking options. Sterile breakfast room. Much too small a TV in an awkward position. In short: too expensive for what is offered

We chose this hotel on a football tour for the 2024 European Championship. The hotel is very centrally located in the Ruhr area, so that all stadiums can be reached by public transport. But the hotel is really quiet; Even when both balcony doors of the very clean and bright rooms are fully open, no street noise can be heard. The hotel is family-run and the staff is very friendly, helpful and always ready for a nice chat. The hotel is firmly planned for our next tours. Best regards from the four “boys” from the north.

No one to welcome us at reception. When we arrived...bed with hair...clothes with torn edges...empty shower product bottle...wake up at 5 a.m. by screams in the hallway. ...we had to take our shower in the dark because there was no electricity in the room.....Only positive point, not bad breakfast...

Very nice hotel Breakfast was good, fresh and plentiful. Service very attentive and friendly. Price performance top I can only recommend it.

There are only a few restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is now getting old, but is clean and well maintained.

Very nice hotel, nice breakfast. The only downside is the lack of parking.

Good service, unfortunately it's a bit far to walk if you want to eat in the old town. Rooms clean and in a well-kept condition

Etwas in die Jahre gekommenes aber schönes Hotel. Das Zimmer war für den Preis in Ordnung und das Personal sehr nett & alles sehr sauber. Das Frühstück war gut, nur die Brötchen, es waren nur zwei Sorten, waren katastrophal. Daher würde ich eine Gesamtnote von 4,5 Sternen geben.
