Hotel Sportwelt in Radeberg

Das Hotel liegt direkt hinter der Hauptstraße und dafür ist es erstaunlich ruhig. Im Hotel selbst gibt es eine Mischung aus Moderne und altem Stil. Die Zimmer sind nicht die Modernsten, alte Möbel,wobei Stühle und Vorgänge schon erneuert scheinen. Die Zimmer sind ausreichend gross. Das Bad funktionell. Die Duschbrause erinnert eher an einen Spülschlauch in der Grossküche. So eine Duschbrause haben wir noch nicht in einem Zimmer gesehen. Die Minibar war kalt,aber lediglich mit 2 Gläsern und mit keinen Getränken gefüllt. Sehr old school fanden wir,dass W-Lan auf der Rechnung berechnet wird...Das haben wir im Inland auch noch nicht erlebt. Das Frühstück für ein 4 Sterne Hotel sehr übersichtlich, aber ausreichende. Man sollte aber beim Herrichten etwas genauer hin schauen. Ein Schild wies aus Rhabarber Kirsch Marmelade hin, am Glas selbst war jedoch Erdbeer Limette ausgeschrieben. Sollte einem auffallen,wenn mab das Buffet bestückt. Es gab verschiedene Salate...Im Eiersalat steckte eine Gabel ?! Ein Löffel ist hier sicher hilfreicher, dann wird auch nicht so viel gekleckert. Im Obstsalat steckte zunächst gar kein Hilfsmittel, wir bestückten es dann mit einem Löffel von der Müsliauslage. Der Herr zum Frühstück am Samstag war entweder mit dem falschen Fuss aufgestanden und hat den Beruf verfehlt. Kaffeekannen wurden auf den Tisch geknallt,so dass man bei jeder zuckte, auch andere Gäste schauten entsetzt. Auf Fragen der Gäste reagierte er deutlich genervt, kein Guten Morgen, nur ein forscher eher militärischer Ton. Dies zog sich bei ihm durch. Daher fragten wir lieber nicht, ob es auch möglich wäre ein Getränk aus seinem Kaffeeautomaten zu bekommen. Die Mädels beim Frühstück hingegen waren sehr freundlich und bemüht. Aber ein Tipp: im Bereich mit offenen Speisen sollten die Haare zusammen getragen werden . Die Rezeption war sowohl bei check in als auch bei check out sehr kurz gehalten, jedoch freundlich. Keine Frage " war alles in Ordnung?". Insgesamt war es nicht besonders voll an dem Wochenende, von daher angenehm. Sauna und Fitnesscenter wäre im Preis enthalten gewesen, haben wir jedoch aus Zeitgründen nicht nutzen können. Der Frühstücksraum an sich ist sehr modern eingerichtet und man hat einen Blick in die grosse Halle. Das Restaurant am Abend war geöffnet, haben wir jedoch nicht genutzt, da wir ausserhalb unterwegs waren. Positiv auch der grosse kostenfreie Parkplatz direkt am Hotel.

4 Sterne können wir nicht wirklich nachvollziehen. Sehr in die Jahre gekommen und damit eindeutig zu teuer für die Leistung (180 € / Nacht), auch wenn natürlich die Kosten für alles gestiegen sind. Alle Sportangebote kosten extra, das könnte man als "Sporthotel" auch anders lösen. Diverse Flecken auf dem Teppich, fehlende Teile an der Dusche im Bad, riesiges Loch im Handtuch, Dreck und altes Spielzeug hinterm Beistellbett, keine Licht im Flur zu den Zimmern (oder defekt) - man merkt irgendwie, dass es an Liebe zu dem fehlt, was man macht. Das Zimmer müffelt sehr, was auch mit Lüften nicht weggeht. Die Dusche wird plötzlich nach einiger Zeit extrem heiß (absolute Verbrennungsgefahr). Der Abflussstopfen im Waschbecken lässt sich nicht mehr lösen, wenn einmal gedrückt. Die Betten sind eher unbequem. Duschen ist sehr laut - und so ließe sich noch jede Menge aufzählen. Alles in allem leider keine gute Erfahrung. Positiv ist die Größe der Zimmer. Das Frühstück ist ok (auch hier fehlt aber die Liebe zum Detail), der Service war auch ok.

Saubere und gemütliche Zimmer, freundlicher Service, Frühstücksbuffet war auch sehr solide. Ich konnte bei meinen insgesamt drei Aufenthalten nichts negatives aussetzen. Direkt gegenüber befindet sich ein Einkaufszentrum mit Essensmöglichkeiten, sowie eine Tankstelle. Der Radeberger Stadtkern ist fußläufig in 20-25 Minuten erreichbar.

Wir waren immer gerne Badminton spielen, aber durch die Paddelplätze fliegen alle 10 Minuten Bälle auf den Badmintonplatz. Das Unterbericht den Spielfluss und mindert den Spaß ungemein. Sehr Schade.

Seit die Bälle der Padel-Felder permanent im Badmintonfeld landen ist ein ungestörtes Spiel leider nicht mehr möglich.

Ein sehr schönes und gepflegtes Hotel, die Zimmer sind Sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig und es ist für jeden etwas dabei. Das Restaurant hat eine kleine aber feine Karte. Der Service Empfang ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir fahren nun zum dritten Mal hin und freuen uns auf den Aufenthalt dort. Wir können es nur empfehlen

Wir waren Padel spielen. In der Region ist das der einzige Indoor-Padelplatz soweit ich weiß! Hat großen Spaß gemacht. Alles gepflegt und sauber, die Halle war angenehm temperiert.

Ich war im Sporthotel Radeberg zum Tennisspielen und anschließend in der Sauna, genau dafür ist das Hotel perfekt. Die Tennisanlage ist gut gepflegt und macht richtig Spaß, egal ob Training oder freies Spiel. Danach konnte ich im kleinen, aber sehr sauberen Saunabereich wunderbar entspannen und runterkommen. Alles wirkt ordentlich, ruhig und durchdacht. Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt absolut, besonders für Sportler, die nach dem Training noch etwas Erholung suchen. Für mich eine klare Empfehlung und definitiv nicht der letzte Besuch.

Tolle Zimmer, super Personal, passend für jeden Anlass!

We booked a short break package for two, and the reception, food, and service were all completely satisfactory. The hotel is located a little outside the town. There is a bus connection, but a short walk is required, which shouldn't be a problem when booking a sports hotel. 😉 A spacious, free parking lot is available if you do decide to drive. We didn't use the sports facilities, but we enjoyed visiting the sauna at the end of the day. A little tip: book directly with the hotel; it differs significantly from other offers.

Beautiful facility, I only know the sports area, with good tennis courts and especially padel courts 👍🏼 Very good step and very attractive, as it is currently the only place where you can play padel indoors.

Nice room, good value for money

We were there to play padel tennis. Unfortunately, we were greeted very rudely by a woman at reception. She snapped at us, asking if we had everything we needed, and when we said no, she reacted with annoyance. That certainly didn't make us feel welcome.

We received a very friendly welcome and a warm welcome. The rooms are large but showing their age...everything is done in dark wood...a matter of taste...the TV is quite small. The beds and bathrooms are good, and we found the breakfast very good.

Short one-night stay. Very comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and delicious food. Easily accessible from the A4 motorway, with ample parking on site.

For over €400 for three nights, I expected considerably more. The room was old and worn. Cleaning was supposed to be done every two days – mine wasn't. Only the two small towels were replaced, nothing more. Particularly disappointing: The gym costs an additional €5 per day and is in terrible condition. Old equipment, worn upholstery, everything looks neglected. At this price and in this condition, the gym should obviously be included. The sauna also costs extra (€3.50), which is still reasonable in comparison. The food was okay. The only positive thing was the friendliness of the staff. The bottom line: Absolutely no value for money. For this standard and the price charged, I cannot recommend this hotel.

We stayed at the Hotel Sportwelt as part of a weekend getaway. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the hotel's cuisine. We would love to come back. Thank you very much, and see you soon!

This was our first time paddling. We can't comment on the rooms or food. The facility was in good condition, and the bathroom facilities were also impeccable. We were there on a Sunday, and it was barely busy. The only negative was the reception – a bit irritating, you had to drag everything out of her. Since it was our first time there, a quick briefing (where the playing field is, etc.) would have been nice. And as we all know, a smile never hurts :)

I didn't stay overnight. Very friendly staff, delicious lunch. I highly recommend it.

We stayed here for 4 days and booked the hotel and a tennis coach. We used the hotel to play tennis and stay overnight. So, we can't comment on the sauna and other sports facilities, etc. The tennis courts were okay, absolutely sufficient for us. There was a bit of a crosswind on a few days, but it wasn't a problem, especially since it was quite hot at times. We highly recommend our coach, Uwe. Natural, authentic, and competent. We booked 10 lessons; it was a great pleasure with him the whole time! We were allowed to stay in our room for free beyond the actual check-out time on the last day because of our training. Many thanks to Uwe and the hotel staff for this. Conclusion: We'd love to go back – and the connection to Dresden is a stone's throw away; we ate there every evening.

We were there for dinner. It was delicious!

I can't rate the room. I was there for an invited meeting. The service at this meeting was very good. The meal that followed (three options, chosen by the host) was, in my case, good at best. The soup offered beforehand and the superb salad buffet were excellent.

A sports facility with many options. We were here to play paddle tennis. During the week, you're practically alone.

Highly recommended for tennis 🎾 friends and groups.

Hotel off the beaten path, in a quiet place with a large free parking lot. Green surroundings and a good restaurant downstairs. The reception lady from Poland is very nice, helpful and takes care of the guests. A great waiter downstairs, a very nice old man. Beer downstairs / fresh Radeberger. I highly recommend the hotel!!!

A nice meeting room and really delicious food. I was only here for one day on business, so I don't know anything about the rooms or leisure activities.

I was only in the hotel for one night. I felt comfortable. Breakfast was very good. When it comes to the sauna, you just have to make sure that you either change in the room or don't have to pay a deposit for the sauna. Sauna costs €3.50 extra but that's ok. Oh yes... instead of the tablet in the room, a larger TV would have been better.

Food and drink good. Service takes some getting used to and is fun.

So far we have been satisfied with the use of the hall. Now that two new paddle courts have been built, it is simply not possible to use the badminton courts while using the paddle courts at the same time. The headlights are blinding and the fencing around the paddle courts is inadequate, so the ball unfortunately keeps leaving the field and disrupting the badminton game. Dear operator, please correct these deficiencies as quickly as possible, otherwise we will be forced to look elsewhere. And we would very much regret that.

Small hotel, large room, which was also clean. The equipment is already a bit old, i.e. standard at the turn of the millennium. Minibar available, unfilled. Drinks vending machine on the 1st floor. Unfortunately only banknotes, no card payment. Otherwise drinks in the hotel only in the restaurant. Breakfast buffet very rich. We had booked dinner for 2 days and only had 2 meals to choose from on both days. The second time we ordered something from the card, for an additional payment. Maybe you should rethink the procedure since there was only a choice of meat or fish dish.

Was there to pick up my order. (Restaurant) The Christmas goose was ordered and as described. Gladly again.

Very clean, well-run hotel. We stayed there for 2 nights and all in all we can only say good things. Starting with the really great breakfast through to dinner in the restaurant. There is only one star deduction for the room, especially since I personally would have expected there to be a bottle of water in the room upon arrival. Otherwise, the room was really, really clean and even the shower cubicle (we've had a different experience before) was all great in our eyes. Price performance great....

Unfortunately, sauna and fitness cost extra

I really liked it here! The only drawback: The hotel is too far from Radeberg train station and the connection to public transport is not exactly optimal

Quite OK for the quiet time in October. Breakfast is good, the restaurant in the evening could be a little better. The prices are okay. The rooms are simple but clean. Conclusion I can recommend it.

The sports activity days were great. Everything you need right in or on the house: 2 outdoor tennis courts and 4 indoor tennis courts, a very good and well-equipped fitness studio and a good sauna area with a large indoor pool. The staff was very friendly and you could also eat directly in the good Timmermanns restaurant located in the house, whose manager and staff were also very friendly and had a wonderful breakfast buffet available. With free parking spaces directly at the house, an all-round carefree package for a sporty personal break. Dresden and Saxon Switzerland are a stone's throw away by car. Tennis training with Uwe is highly recommended! Thanks!!

Good business hotel with many sports facilities and excellent cuisine. Rooms are sufficiently large and comfortable, but air conditioning would be nice in the summer temperatures. Staff is very friendly. Very suitable for a few days of business trip.

The staff there was always very friendly. We arrived there at 12 p.m. and were able to check in straight away. We received the room keys straight away, so we were able to make full use of the day. The staff there were very nice, whether at the reception or the staff at dinner or early in the morning at breakfast. A table was even prepared and reserved for us early in the morning because there were six of us. It was excellent, thanks again for that. The dinner was very good in terms of taste and filling. The breakfast buffet was very extensive and very freshly prepared, everything was there for a four star hotel, you couldn't say anything negative, nice sausage platter, scrambled eggs with batter, small sausages, various types of jam, Nutella, muesli, fresh fruit and much more. Perfect for starting the day start. Free!! There are enough parking spaces in front of the hotel, great. The use of the sauna and the cooling bath was great, but for a sports hotel this should be included for guests and not that you have to pay three euros for use, which of course doesn't set this hotel apart. Otherwise, thank you again for your hospitality. Unfortunately, there is also something negative to report, this could have been prevented with good room planning, (family with child!!) so unfortunately a star deduction. Too bad. Our room was on the first floor with three large windows, so far so good. The room itself was great. Nice bathroom, everything was nice and clean and well prepared. But the location on the street side is ok, sometimes there's no other way, it's just the way it is, you can't magic away the street and the other window on the terrace side, and right under the terrace there was a birthday party that lasted well into the night, it was really hot during the day The sun was on it all day, in the evening you could have opened the windows, but it wasn't possible at all because it was too loud, you couldn't even think about sleeping until shortly after three, and that with a child too. The adults don't really understand this, but the child doesn't really understand it. The adults alone could pass the time in other ways (bar, for example), but it doesn't really work with a child. For the people involved in the celebration, they are not thinking about the other guests at this moment, so the hotline management would have to intervene and tell them that after a certain time the noise level needs to be reduced somewhat. This could be changed if you see in advance that a celebration is taking place at the weekend, so you simply cannot rent out a room like this to families who have children with them and then on the main street side. Just think about what you do to guests with children. If the room had had air conditioning this wouldn't be a problem, the windows are reasonably well insulated against noise but not against the sun, which shines fully from midday onwards, and the awnings that close automatically don't help either. The windows still heat up during the day and radiate this heat inside. So the bottom line is that the room was just too heated to be able to sleep properly, and then there was the noise until well into the night, so things didn't go well for us. Beds are also not that great, especially the lower category pillows. Then another thing: the hotel is located outside the city, everything is very far away, you have to be able to walk well or be mobile by car, for example...

Overall okay. Great breakfast, a bit far from the beaten track but we were passing through, so ok. I would particularly like to highlight the friendliness at the reception as well as the staff in the restaurant in the evening and morning who reserved a table for us so that we could sit together. Super child friendly, perfect. What was unfortunately very bad was the room. There was a party in the evening and we had the room right above. It was very warm and we had to open the windows. Unfortunately very loud until late at night. Not thinking about sleep.

Very tidy house with remarkably friendly staff and very good breakfast within walking distance of Radeberg center. Is worth the money.

Smell of cigarettes in almost all rooms. Windows must remain closed. Dinner was way too overpriced. Breakfast lower middle class.

Fitness area great. Very clean sanitary facilities and very neat and stable training equipment. Whether for endurance or strength training. Everything is there and in top condition. Raiko and Thomas are happy to advise you very competently on the right training. It doesn't get much better. I've been there for a few years and there will probably be a few more to come. 😉

YES! We had it in a package with the beer theater - good location, very friendly staff, food very tasty.

We go to badminton here, €15 a court for 45 minutes. You can book in advance via Eversports, which also works great. Changing rooms and showers are clean and well maintained.

Not far from Dresden, this sports hotel is very conveniently located with great cuisine and very attentive service. We had a voucher for a candlelight dinner, which we redeemed here.

We were very pleasantly surprised, very friendly staff, top service. We felt completely comfortable. We can recommend the hotel with a clear conscience.

Location: remote in a commercial area, in a sports center Room: okay.. everything you need is there Wellness: 2 saunas, relaxation area, a cooling bath that is second to none... really great! (From 8 p.m. the sauna may be canceled... it will be switched on again after notification) Restaurant: Breakfast really good and sufficient, dinner first class (food and service top 5*) All in all: 4 out of 5 stars RECOMMENDATION!

Radeberg is very well located for trips to Dresden or Saxon Switzerland. A brewery tour is also recommended

I haven't been to the hotel itself yet, I play tennis there in winter and everything is always neatly clean and tidy. The tennis courts are in very good condition
