I can only give very positive reviews about the restaurant in the hotel alone. It is possible to get a place spontaneously. Food is prepared very quickly. No long waiting times. Staff very polite. The food was very tasty and you can of course have any leftover food packed up. Price performance is very good. Great experience.

The visit to the restaurant was an overall successful evening. Cozy atmosphere, friendly service, very good food at good prices. It should also be mentioned that you can put everything together yourself at the salad bar, there is a free starter and a Julischka to digest .Although all the tables were occupied, we didn't have to wait longer than half an hour for our food. Finally, it should be mentioned that this restaurant also has a hotel and a small beer garden....This restaurant deserves 5 stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟, because it is run by familiar tradition...and the guest feels this 🥰

Wanted to eat something briefly. Steak with chanterelles, fried potatoes and salad from the buffet. 14.90 or so with bread, olives and peppers beforehand and digestively. Super friendly, super fast.

We were only there to eat. The dishes were very tasty. Very cozy place. Service excellent.

I cannot comment on the restaurant as I didn't eat there apart from the breakfast.. I stayed 2 nights in one of the rooms that I didn't book. I booked two deluxe rooms and when I checked in I was given an alternative room, which I had no choice but to accept. The room was ok, spacious, clean bathroom. The bed linen wasn't clean (hairs) and the mattress needs replacing desperately as it has a massive dip and you will sink. Also, the towels need replacing, they are very old and stained. On a positive note, the shower pressure was really powerful. There is also a foul smell coming out of the drain when you run the shower, very unpleasant. I found it very overpriced considering that we didn't sleep well due to the beds being knackered. I also messaged the staff with a query but they did not bother to reply. I wasn't keen on the breakfast as mainly cold meats, bread and a boiled egg. No fresh fruit or dairy free milk alternative. The orange juice is from concentrate and the coffee very watered down. I would not recommend this hotel.

We had dinner here with friends. Very tasty and centrally located at the town hall.

Gastronomic Champions League. Unbeatable quality at even unbeatable prices. Absolutely professional gastro family that runs this restaurant, very hospitable, super fast, super tasty, they have mastered their craft and their daily work at a high level really perfectly and have certainly been doing so for what feels like 70 years. Something like that deserves admiration and respect! Stay as you are.

A very nice restaurant. We were there with a group - I had a grill plate - which was really great! I also had a pepper sauce with it. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't the best either. A little underseasoned. The bread for the starter was again great. I also tried the pasta with tomato-cream-basil sauce from someone at our table - unfortunately it really wasn't good. The pasta was overcooked and soggy. The sauce had no cream or basil and was underseasoned. For this price (14.90 euros) this is absolutely not good. A very good restaurant for meat eaters! However, the vegetarian dishes need to be improved. Therefore all in all 4 stars.

My rating refers to the overnight stay with “breakfast” The rooms are… 1 star… Breakfast must be taken the next day at the time requested the day before. Here you get rolls, (pork) sausage, cheese END. The egg is probably boiled “soft” at 6 a.m.… then you can leave it alone. If you don't come to breakfast because something came up, which is possible with children, you will be checked and rudely asked why you didn't come to breakfast. The “planning” was taken into account, but there is no house telephone and no one answered the reception using their cell phone. Now to the restaurant, which I'm not reviewing here, that's fine.

Visited the restaurant! Eating out in comfort is different. My wife's Gals was dishwasher blind. There were free suspended particles from the pipe in my beer glass. The food came very quickly, so the fries didn't even manage to cook. The meat on the grill was good and tasty. My wife's steak was ok. All in all, we were out of the restaurant after 45 minutes. The staff was nice but the hustle and bustle could be felt throughout the house. Unfortunately, going out to eat comfortably is different. The price was reasonable. OK for a quick meal, but definitely not a place to spend time with your loved ones.

I've been coming here for years because the food has always been perfect. Fast service despite being very busy. There's a reason. The fillet steaks are absolutely recommended. Taste-wise, qualitatively impeccable. I think the price levels are a bit high, but quality also has its price. Unfortunately, parking spaces directly in front of the restaurant are often in short supply, but a short walk after a meal with sufficiently large portions should be good. Nice family-run restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere.

My impressions when visiting the restaurant were partly skeptical. I don't know what to say, but my last piece of meat was simply not what I ordered. In addition, the atmosphere was loud as hell and our table was set at short notice and the employees were confused.

Fish, asparagus and potatoes with three sauces were good, as was the apple spritzer. Relatively quiet and comfortable - “you can complain less there”.

Delicious food. Small beer garden near the street. Staff very friendly. Guest room very comfortable. The restaurant also offers special menus. Very reasonable prices, food very tasty.

It was nice to sit outside today and eat, everything covered. Food and service was great. It's nice to have a small starter as a welcome, and you can take your own delicious main course and salad. Food was nice and hot and meat was on point. Finally, a nightcap from the house.

I had dinner with you again after almost 30 years. It was just beautiful, tasty and the staff was great. Thank you for the really nice evening.

Very good food and top service at fair prices

I only visited the restaurant. Was delicious. The selection of steak dishes is very good. Preparation is top. The only drawback is the parking situation. Otherwise very good and tasty.

Good restaurant with very nice staff. Quite crowded on the weekends, so I would recommend making a reservation. Monthly offers for 3 days during the week👍👍. I would also make a reservation here. Pleasant prices and a family business. Sometimes a little chaotic😁😁but everyone is really nice. In summer the covered outdoor area is also great, although it's a little close to the street, but that's due to the location.

The restaurant is highly recommended. You immediately feel welcome and comfortable. Great service, very attentive and knowledgeable about food and drinks, and special requests are also taken into account without any problems. My absolute favorite is the robber's meat, it has everything and you'll be more than full. There is no skimping on the side dishes, sauces or anything else. Please keep it up, dear Jammerkrug team

Good food at fair prices. Not high-end gastronomy but down-to-earth, perfect. The service is professional. The host is warm and sometimes a Schalke professional also does the honors.

Restaurant just great. I can't say anything about the hotel, I ate with the family and didn't stay overnight.

The portions were very large and tasty, and the price-performance ratio was very good. The service was very friendly and attentive, we never had to wait long for our food or drinks. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back. The Jammerkrug restaurant is a great address for anyone who wants to enjoy a relaxed atmosphere. 👍

I've been eating there with my family at least three times a year for a decade. The food is always delicious, the staff and owners are incredibly friendly, courteous, sweet and nice. I have never complained about anything. Thank you!

The ambience is very inviting with cross arches, The quality of the food was good, Unfortunately, the greeting from the kitchen came before the drinks were ordered, The service was attentive, We were upset that the food arrived after about 15 minutes. We went to the very good salad buffet and when we got back to the table, the main course was already on the table, It seemed to us as if the table had been rescheduled for something else despite our reservation.

The food is really amazing! Simply incredibly delicious. We will be back.

Wir hatten 1 DZ für 1 Nacht mit Frühstücksbuffet gebucht. Da wir in der Nähe gefeiert haben. Das Zimmer war sauber. Aber kein Willkommensschlückchen auf dem Zimmer. Anstatt Buffet nur ein einfaches eingedecktes Frühstück am Tisch. Mit einem harten Ei, womit man Scheiben einschlagen könnte. Kaum war der letzte Bissen runter geschluckt, da kam der Chef schon alles abräumen, einschließlich der Kaffeetassen. Der Kaffee war nur dünne Plörre! Das war das kürzeste Hotelfrühsrück ever. Ca 15 Minuten am Tisch. Und das für 36,-€ War für uns ein glatter Rauswurf. Uns sehen Sie nie wieder.

Das Hotel hat unseren Ansprüchen genügt. Nachteile: Zimmer in 2. Etage und kein Aufzug, zudem kein Parkplatz... und prompt auch einen Verweis von 20 € bekommen. Parkplätze der Umgebung mit Parkscheibe für nur 2 Std. Das geht gar nicht, wenn man mehrere Tage bleibt. Frühstück am Tisch und Eier leider immer kalt und hart. Personal freundlich.

Sehr angenehmes Ambiente, dass Personal sehr aufmerksam . Mein Steak war auf dem Punkt gebraten, alle die am Tisch saßen waren mehr als zufrieden. Kann es jeden empfehlen einen Besuch abzustatten.

Gutes Steak und Balkan Restaurant in Gladbeck. Da es immer sehr voll ist, ist eine Reservierung im Vorfeld unbedingt zu empfehlen! Die Parkplatzsituation ist auch eher schlecht, vor dem Restaurant sind nur wenige Plätze die meist schon belegt sind. In der Querstrasse direkt gegenüber sind auch noch einige Plätze. Weitere sind etwas weiter weg, ggf. am Riesener-Gymnasium parken.(ca. 200m laufen). Das Restaurant hat im vorderen Teil schöne Plätze. Im rechten Teil ist ein grosser Raum der nochmals abgetrennt werden kann, dort ist das sitzen nicht so schön, aber OK. Als Vorspeise gibt es warmes Brot, Oliven, Peperoni und zwei Sorten Kräuterbutter. Bei allen Gerichten ist ein Salat enthalten, den man sich selber zusammenstellen und holen darf. Das Essen ist gut und reichlich. Die Steaks sind zu empfehlen. Die Getränke sind ebenfalls im Rahmen. Das Essen wird sehr schnell an den Tisch geliefert, daher sollte man sich mit Vorspeise und Salat etwas beeilen... Alles in allem eines der besten Restaurants in Gladbeck, was sich jetzt schon seit Jahren auf gutem Niveau bewegt.

Wir waren am 1. Weihnachtstag mit 7 Personen zum Mittagessen. Als wir ankamen wurden wir sehr freundlich begrüßt und unser vorbestellter Tisch wurde uns umgehend zugewiesen. Es wurde dann auch sofort nach unseren Getränkewünschen gefragt und diese auch sofort gebracht. Anschließend erhielten wir die Speisekarten. Nachdem wir unsere Bestellungen abgegeben hatten (A la Card)!!! ist schon stark an so einem Tag erhielten wir unser Essen trotz hoher Besucherzahlen (ausgebucht) sehr zügig. Alle Gerichte die wir bestellt hatten waren frisch zubereitet , sehr lecker und reichhaltig. Resümee: Sehr schöne Lokalität, schneller Service, freundliche Bedienung, leckeres Essen und daher unbedingt weiterzuempfehlen.

Früher mal wirklich gute Qualität, aber derzeit nur noch mittelmäßig. Wir waren mehrfach nur enttäuscht von Qualität und Service.

Zentral gelegenes Hotel rund 700 m vom Bahnhof Gladbeck West am Rande der Fussgängerzone. Die vier großen Doppelzimmer mit Bad liegen im 2. Stock sind nach meiner Erfahrung oft ausgebucht. Hotel und das sehr gut besuchte, große Restaurant mit vielfältigem Angebot (unbedingt Tisch reservieren, die Resonanz soll nach Auskunft meiner Tischnachbarn immer so sein) im Erdgeschoss sind ein gut geführtes, serviceorientiertes Familienunternehmen. Bisher mein eindeutig bestes von allein in diesem Jahr drei genutzten Hotels in Gladbeck.

Super lecker gegessen dort. Kommen gerne wieder.

Das Restaurant ist Spitze: Wildgulasch und Lammteller sind echt empfehlenswert. Trotz der hervorragenden Qualität wird man bei den servierten Portionsgrößen durchaus satt. Auch das Salatbuffet ist eine schöne Idee. Schade ist, dass man wenig Platz im Magen für die leckeren Desserts hat.

Der Lammteller ist der Hammer. Das Fleisch ist auf den Punkt gebraten, die Qualität perfekt und die Portionsgröße mehr als ausreichend. Dazu eine leckere Vorspeise aufs Haus und ein schönes Salatbuffet. Die Bedienung war immer freundlich und hat unsere Extrawünsche zum Dessert ohne Aufpreis umgesetzt. Äußerst zu Empfehlen!!! Jederzeit gern wieder

Wir waren auf Grund eines Besuches im movie park eine Nacht im hotel jammerkrug und waren sehr zufrieden Zimmer super sauber und modern eingerichtet mit allem was man braucht, bad sehr groß sauber und modern bzw neu Das Frühstück am nächsten tag ließ keine Wünsche offen Personal sehr freundlich Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder DANKE

Geiles Hotel genau wie ich es liebe kleines hübsches Hotel mit Restaurant. Sehr nettes Personal alles sauber und ordentlich schnelles WLAN ja das ist für mich wichtig. In der Region liegt der Freizeitpark Movie Park definitiv einen Ausflug wert. Werde wieder in das Hotel gehen wirklich richtig schön.
