This was our third stay at Hotel Paulsen. Friendly welcome, very generous breakfast and excellent location.

For the quality and location, this is a high-priced hotel and restaurant. Clean rooms.

Great hotel with a lovely atmosphere. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were clean, modern, and comfortably furnished. Fast and free Wi-Fi. Another highlight was the breakfast buffet, served in a bright, beautifully designed atrium. A great way to start the day. Plenty of free parking is available for guests.

Excellent place to stay if you happen to be in town. Large clean rooms, friendly staff and good food. Perfect location in the middle of town and close to everything.

Were there one night travelling from Denmark to Netherland. Friendly welcome, clean room, good shower, but unfortunately is queen- or kingsize beds not common in germany. We travel this distance often and what make this hotel different is the quality of the restaurant and the fact that you can order food until 21:00h

We booked a room and called a few weeks later to politely ask if we could cancel free of charge despite the early bird discount. The lady on the phone said it wouldn't be a problem. We then booked a new vacation. When we then wrote to ask when we would receive a refund, we were told that the room was non-cancellable. When we asked why the lady had promised us a free cancellation, we simply received the answer that it was an early bird discount, and there was no response to our phone call with the colleague. We were supposed to pay for the hotel, including breakfast, despite the employee's statement to the contrary. Very poor customer service!

A pleasant and clean hotel with friendly staff. We had previously stayed overnight in hotels in Norway and Sweden, which surprised us by the limited breakfast options, especially considering the price. No butter cookies, for example. Location-wise, Zeven isn't the most charming German town we've visited. So, we can safely conclude that the 3-star superior rating is perfectly suited to the hotel.

A heartily run hotel in Zeven. We received a very warm welcome from the owner, who also showed us the large new bicycle garage with a combination lock. The rooms were very spacious, and the bathrooms were freshly renovated. The breakfast included fresh, regional produce, and everything was plentiful and delicious. The entire staff was very friendly and concerned about the well-being of their guests. We felt very comfortable here.

Very friendly and helpful staff, the room was spacious and clean, the beds very comfortable, and the bathroom modern. Breakfast was served in a covered courtyard and was varied and delicious. There's a new shed for bicycles with plenty of space and a good lock.

For my business trips in the region, the hotel is my first port of call. The rooms are comfortably furnished, well maintained and, above all, always very clean. The breakfast is completely sufficient for me and you can find everything that goes with it on the buffet. The reason why I always like to come back is the friendly and courteous staff as well as the excellent cuisine in the restaurant. If you are traveling with several people, you should reserve a table in advance. In summary, a lot is being done right here and I personally look forward to every stay.

For a local job interview, I used the Hotel Paulsen based on a recommendation. The staff was very friendly and competent and the room was also very clean and well maintained. I was completely impressed by the Paulsen restaurant in Zeven! The service is excellent - the staff are attentive, friendly and immediately make you feel welcome. Every order is served quickly and with a smile. The food and drinks are of the highest quality and prepared with a lot of love. I was particularly impressed by the variety of dishes and the freshness of the ingredients. No matter whether it's a starter, main course or dessert - every course is a pleasure here. An absolute insider tip in the region that I can warmly recommend!

We spent one night here and absolutely loved it. Everything was super clean, nice rooms, a large bathroom with a window and plenty of storage space. It was quiet at night, both outside and inside - no doors slamming at night or anything like that. The breakfast was delicious, everything was there, in a great atmosphere like in a courtyard. We'll definitely be back.

Terrible internet, not a single video (even at 480p) loaded!! Breakfast was ok but very meager. Rooms are quite old-fashioned with carpeted floors. Unfortunately, there was also a lot of stress afterwards with the invoice, as there was a lot of cheating and forging

Very well run hotel. Very nice staff. The rooms are beautiful and lovingly furnished. Pay attention to the details. A hotel to feel good. Breakfast and the breakfast room are also simply fantastic. Bread and rolls from the bakery, fresh salmon, scrambled eggs with bacon and sausages, regional honey and jam, alternative products for allergy sufferers - there is something for everyone. There is also a restaurant integrated, which is also very good. Good value for money. I would be happy to come back.

Everything was perfect in this hotel. The rooms are clean, large, bright and quiet. The breakfast was great, there is also something for vegetarians. The associated restaurant is cozy and the food is really tasty, there are various regional dishes. I had very tasty pasta with asparagus. Here too, the selection for vegetarians is very good. And what should be particularly highlighted is the openness, friendliness and uncomplicated nature of all the employees I met. Absolute recommendation, we felt very comfortable.

Nice overnight stay during our trip from Sweden to the Netherlands. Very good service (something went wrong while booking online with the hotels app) very friendly and helpful employees. We could use the night entrance and the key was ready 👌 Slept well on a great bed and the sanitary facilities are excellent. A delicious 🚿. Price performance completely ok. Parking options very good. Bed very comfortable and internet is also fast. My room is always very clean. Overall the hotel is very well located. You can easily reach many interesting and useful places on foot. It's also not directly on the main street - so noise isn't a problem. You also don't hear doors slamming or people talking in the hallway. Really fine!

Nice place, but the sidewalks are raised from 6:30 p.m. If you are looking for peace and quiet you can find it here. Hotel 3 stars with good cuisine. Prices for food were a little higher, but the quality was also very good. Room prices a little over €100. Breakfast was good and sufficient. Nice service.

We have been making a “stop over” on the way north at the Ringhotel PAULSEN in Zeven for more than 15 years. Every time we are impressed by the friendliness of the staff and management of the hotel, the neatness of the furnishings and the food and drinks. Our feeling of “home from home” is developing more and more. The Ringhotel PAULSEN should not receive three 5 stars but 3 Milky Ways as grades. A cozy hotel that combines traditional elegance with modern design. The hotel is modern and friendly and is in a very well-maintained condition. The employees are very courteous and friendly and they create a family atmosphere. The rooms are in very good condition and the cleanliness leaves nothing to be desired. The culinary journey through the farms and shops of the Lüneburg Heath is something very special. The food is regional and always fresh. You can find information about the origin of everything and much more. The food is delicious and worth every euro. And can be enjoyed in a very cozy atmosphere. The service in the catering sector impresses with its outstanding hospitality and sympathy, as well as the fact that the service staff know their guests very well after just one evening and respond individually to their wishes and preferences. Advice on food and, in my case, spirits is also no obstacle and impresses with expertise and experience. I can only recommend the hotel to everyone. And I would also like to come back there.

We had our fill of kale here with our gang. Very nice and attentive service. Food was super tasty and filling. Thumbs up and happy again.

The Hotel Paulsen is a beautiful and well-kept holiday and business hotel. The rooms are clean and tidy. The furnishings of the rooms are good, although not particularly stylish. The carpet in the hotel room is a bit negative. What was very positive, however, was the personal and familiar approach, which I really enjoyed. The breakfast buffet was also very nice. Although the light in the atrium seemed a little uncomfortable. So the hotel actually only deserves four stars, but due to the super friendly welcome and the family tone, it definitely deserves a fifth star. Another word about the restaurant. We liked this one a lot. The dishes were all very tasty and tasty. Here I would deduct one star for the table water for six euros per carafe from the tap (from the tap). In my opinion, there is no relationship between price and performance - even if the water has been fed.
