Unfortunately, what feels like 20 years of investment backlog. Carpet, furniture, etc. The location is convenient and on the lake it's also quite nice.

Been there for a meeting, well prepared room to meet needs. Drinks supply went smoothly. Lunch break food was delicious

Very tidy rooms and a practical conference room, which is a bit outdated, which didn't matter to us because we don't have a technology-based conference. The restaurant is definitely recommended, even if it could have been warmer in the covered outdoor area. A visit to the in-house bar is also recommended just because of the photos that show the sporting who's who.

We were here as part of a wedding celebration, there were difficulties in advance when planning the promised rooms, but we were satisfied with the solution and were happy afterwards. The food was very tasty, a big thank you and praise to Elena and Kleo who accompanied us through the evening, you two were simply great!!!! Rooms were booked for all guests, getting a second pillow was no problem, but a huge brown stain under the pillow is an absolute no-go for a 4 star hotel!! The room for the bride and groom wasn't even decorated or maybe a bottle of champagne, nothing at all, I find it really sad The breakfast the next morning was okay, not outstanding but okay, bacon was cold despite the warming container, it was great that you could fill the crossaint yourself with different creams, the ladies at breakfast were also very nice. It wasn't outstanding, but it was okay If you don't have air conditioning in your room and have to sleep with the window open at night, you'll constantly hear the train, which is very annoying. The rooms at the back have a great view of the lake. Depending on who is at the reception, very friendly and helpful, but there was also the exact opposite Hotel is well located

I didn't stay there but ate in the restaurant. Authentic Italian cuisine. The pizza was delicious. Very friendly staff, everything was super clean. We sat on the terrace and it was very pleasant. A beautiful garden. Enough parking spaces. Absolutely recommended.

The hotel is very easy to reach by car or public transport. The quiet location in the countryside and yet in the Ruhr metropolis is excellent. The hotel offers a rich breakfast in the bright winter garden with a romantic view of a park-like landscape. The employees are very attentive and friendly - good service. The rooms are bright, the beds are comfortable. The booking process was professional, friendly and quick. Overall, I think the price/performance ratio is excellent. Gladly again and again. Hotel is ok, slept very well, nice room. Restaurant less recommended. Antipasti platter for 4 people was very clear and too expensive. Paid over €100 for a meat dish for 2 people with a small bowl of potatoes and vegetables that would normally be served for 1 person.

I met a potential customer there in the lobby. Good place for a first meeting.

Nicely located hotel, easy to reach by car and train. Extremely friendly staff. We were even able to charge the batteries on our e-bikes! We had a good meal and breakfast at “Da Vinci”! Cycle paths available at the hotel. We were completely satisfied!

We celebrated our wedding there and it was beautiful. From planning to preparation to the celebration, everything went smoothly and we received excellent support. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is excellent and the rooms are also very nice. We can highly recommend the location. We really enjoyed being there.

Very quiet. Italian restaurant on site. Directly on the subway and therefore very quickly to the trade fair.

Certainly one of the most beautiful and interesting hotels Duisburg has to offer! The former Olympic champion founded a hotel here that has been around for several decades now.

This was our second time in this beautiful hotel. Everything was right again. Rooms...staff...service...everything was great. Breakfast buffet has everything... A small note would be if there was a kettle in the room to give me, an early riser, a coffee on the balcony. That would be the icing on the cake for me. Kind regards S.+R.Caspari

The location of the hotel is good. The hotel itself needs renovation in many places. The room was a shock, especially the bathroom, which had the feel of a slaughterhouse. The bathroom was wheelchair accessible - which is generally good that a hotel has something like that, but the toilets are too high for me so I have to slide my genitals over my glasses and my feet no longer touch the floor. Very very unpleasant. Furthermore, all plastic parts are somewhat yellowed, regardless of whether they are handrails, light switches or anything else. The room, on the other hand, had some shortcomings in terms of accessibility. Breakfast was okay - the breakfast room is also no longer up to date. What wasn't right, however, was that the English-speaking guest simply continued to be spoken to in German. I also find the removal of the minibars and the lack of toiletries in the bathroom negative. All in all not a 4*

What impressed me most was the friendly staff.

On Saturday we had a big family celebration at the location. The location is great, from the initial consultation regarding planning to the celebration. Every special request of our guests was fulfilled and all concerns were taken into account. Everyone enjoyed the food. Thanks to the team. As the bride and groom, we received a suite for the night, Unfortunately we couldn't use it because we were too tired after a strenuous day. A pity. The rooms are great and the view from the balcony over the garden and the lake is fantastic. We'd love to come back.

The restaurant has tablecloths, the service is impeccable. The view of the lake and the beautiful terrace are just as impressive as the pasta with layers of real truffles etc. Because the restaurant is around the corner from me, I have to say that it is always relaxing for me. The "St. George's British International School" is also in the neighborhood. The B 288 with the Duisburg-Süd junction is nearby. Heltorf Castle...

Lovely place. Very professional service.

The hotel makes a good impression from the outside, but unfortunately this is not confirmed from the inside. You can see that nothing has been renovated here for many years. There is a musty smell in the hallways and rooms, even the towels don't smell fresh. The mattresses are ancient and rock hard, back pain is guaranteed. Cleanliness is not a priority here; cobwebs in the corners, dust on the surfaces and cleaning agent residue in the bathroom are just a few examples. The "spa" area not only smells musty but also damp and musty, the fitness room "where you can sweat sometimes" is covered with the same old carpet, a nogo when it comes to hygiene. I've also read some reviews that say something similar. The hotel had potential, but the operator seems to only be interested in profit and not in the passion of running a hotel. My conclusion: you can eat well in the restaurant, but I can't recommend staying in the hotel.

So geht italienische Küche mit einem Service der nichts zu wünschen übrig lässt - frisches Carpaccio mit Parmigiano Reggiano - Fischantipasti vom Feinsten, Kalbsschnitzel in Zitronen Soße und Lamm, das so zart war wie man es selten findet. 5 Sterne und bis ganz sicher ganz bald!

Die eine oder andere Schönheitsreparatur wäre mal angesagt, aber alles in allem ein schönes Haus

Also zum Hotel kann ich nichts sagen, ich komme nur girt immer vorbei und verweile am Teich mit den Schwänen! Das Hotel sieht toll aus und ich vermute, daß man sich dort gut aufgehoben fühlt!

Wendeschleife vom Bus sowie S-Bahn Halt direkt am Haus. Ruhig ist anders. Einzelbett mit Fußteil, nichts für große Menschen! Im Aufzug Angebot mit div. Waffelmenüs 14:00 - 17::00, aber leider dann doch nicht verfügbar

Wir haben das Milser für 1 Nacht gebucht und waren bei der Ankunft überrascht von den Dimensionen des Hauses, eine große Halle mit großem Weihnachtskranz dekoriert und einem riesigen Weihnachtsmann vermochten nicht über die ansonsten vorhersehende Nüchternheit des des Etablissements hinwegzutäuschen. Der Checkin erfolgte nüchtern und professionell. Der Flur, der im 2. OG zu unserem Zimmer führte, hatte einen unangenehmen Geruch und das Zimmer war mit einem Mix aus mediterran anmutenden Möbeln, Spiegeln mit Barockrahmen und verschiebbaren Einzelbetten eine Geschmacksfrage, die jeder Gast für sich beantworten muss. Das Bad entpuppte sich als eine reinweiß geflieste Tristesse die durch einen weiteren Barockspiegel aufgelockert wurde. Die Dusche war geräumig und erfüllte Ihren Zweck. Gebrauchsspuren an den Wänden, eine angerissene Drückerplatte am WC Abzug und andere Kleinigkeiten rundeten das Bild des Zimmers ab. Das Frühstück war kein kulinarisches Highlight aber das Personal zur Hauptzeit freundlich und bemüht. Für eine Nacht ist das Milser ok, sofern der Gast keine großen Erwartungen stellt.

Kære alle, hvis i kan booke dette hotel, til ok pris går i ikke forgæves. Dette er et Italiensk inspireret hotel med alt der tilhøre :-) Super morgenmad med alt. Er i fodbold tosset, så er det lige stedet, alle andre godt sted ingen panik trods fodbold. Husk besøg spisested Balkan Hof, kun 1,5 km fra hotellet.

Offensichtlich muss/will sich das Restaurant den 4 Sternen des Hotels anpassen, zumindest preismäßig. Bei den Speisen klappt das leider des öfteren nicht. Waren die gefüllten Nudeln ganz gut und vom Preis her noch okay, trifft beides für die Kalbsleber nicht zu. Obwohl nicht scharf genug angebraten, war sie doch zu durch und somit etwas trocken. Das begleitende Kartoffelpüree war langweilig. Und somit war dieses Gericht mit 24,50 € merklich zu teuer. Für den Sommer schöne Terasse.

Das ital. Restaurant des Hotels Milser hat sich qualitativ in den letzten Jahren gut gehalten - ich habe ab und zu dort gegessen. Das Angebot ist traditionell-italienisch, wird aber saisonal angepaßt. Wir hatten z.B. eine "untypische", sehr gute Martinsgans. Der Service ist professionell und "original"-italienisch. Die nun auch im Winter nutzbare Terrasse ist sehr gut gelungen.
