Hotel Grader in Neustadt a.d.Waldnaab

Perfekt für Radreisende!!! Ich habe meinen Aufenthalt hier rundum genossen und kann das Hotel besonders für Fahrradfahrer uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Der Service für Radler ist absolut vorbildlich: Es gibt eine sichere Fahrradgarage, in der mein Rad bestens untergebracht war. Zudem steht bei Bedarf Werkzeug zur Verfügung, falls vor der nächsten Etappe noch ein kleiner Check oder eine Reparatur am Fahrrad notwendig ist. Die Zimmer sind darüber hinaus sehr ordentlich und sauber. Ein besonderes Highlight war für mich auch das Frühstück. Es ist ausgesprochen ausgiebig, reichhaltig und von sehr guter Qualität – genau das Richtige, um gestärkt in den nächsten Fahrradtag zu starten. Vielen Dank für diesen tollen Service. Ich komme auf jeden Fall gerne wieder!

Wir kamen von einem Fahrrad Trip, völlig durchnässt und wurden sehr freundlich aufgenommen. Für Fahrräder gibt es eine extra Garage, da stehen sie trocken und sicher. Sogar unsere Wäsche wurde uns getrocknet! Zimmer sind super ausgestattet und auch das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und lecker. Vielen Dank für den angenehmen Aufenthalt.

Ein nettes Hotel, mit pragmatisch eingerichteten Zimmern. Gut gelegen, wenn man zum Bahnhof muss. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr gut. Die Angestellten sind alle sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Mein Mann reist beruflich häufig in die Gegend und übernachtet dann oft hier. Diesmal begleitete ich ihn, und ich bin so froh darüber! Das Hotel wird offensichtlich mit viel Liebe und Sorgfalt vom Besitzer geführt – er ist außerordentlich freundlich und liebenswürdig, und auch alle Angestellten sind überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auf jedem Flur gibt es eine gemütliche Sitzecke, die wunderschön eingerichtet ist. Unser Zimmer war größer als erwartet, blitzsauber und geschmackvoll. Wir reisen oft und haben schon in vielen Hotels übernachtet, aber das Hotel Grader ist eine echte Wohltat. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wieder mit meinem Mann verreisen und hoffe, dass wir beim nächsten Mal das bekannte Restaurant im Hotel besuchen können.

Came here to visit a friend in the nearby hospice , the rooms were clean , and comfortable , but I think what makes it special is the people running the place , they are so kind and go out of their way to accommodate you . Reccomended for sure

A wonderful hotel after a strenuous hike on the Goldsteig. A very warm welcome and a wonderful foot bath were prepared.

The room was very clean, not my decor but clean. The deduction is at breakfast... better not mozzarella than pieces, better no bacon than that... and there is also milk and yoghurt for lactose-free people (not everyone likes oat milk)... the breakfast wasn't that great, open jams... the lady in front of me had a nice sniff... delicious... fresh fruit out of place, yes fruit sdalat in mini pieces with apple and kiwi... nice for the winter, but now...?! There is currently great fresh fruit... maybe instead of 4 jams one and more fresh.

Due to a car breakdown on the way to our well-deserved short vacation, we had to book an overnight stay. The car repair shop booked us a room at the Hotel Grader. Here we were warmly welcomed by the manager of the house and a colleague at the reception. Our room was very clean and well furnished. The breakfast was also great, everything was there and plentiful. Here too we were greeted and served by very nice ladies. It is a small hotel, but is run very lovingly, with rustic and tastefully furnished rooms (corridors, staircases, lounges) We would definitely recommend the Hotel Grader and would book it again ourselves.

Very friendly, very clean. Had a renovated room, nothing wrong with it. In general, the hotel is no longer the newest and could use a general modernization. Good breakfast.

Best hotel service: I had booked and the check-in day was postponed without any problems. Goodwill: Then canceled for health reasons. No costs

Everything you want is great, close to the center

Small, cozy, family-run hotel with friendly and courteous service. What is definitely worth highlighting is the rich breakfast buffet and, above all, the star-level restaurant run by the son. Not recommended by the Michelin Guide for nothing!

Good value for money. A lot of understanding for a larger, sometimes somewhat chaotic group. Breakfast is extensive and cozy (at least in the large hall) and dealing with small children is very friendly. The rooms weren't modern or particularly well-equipped (mini TV and barely usable hairdryer), but they were very clean and the size and location were great. The staff was extremely friendly.

When I arrived at the hotel, the owner seemed overwhelmed. She was unfriendly and responded snippy. When we asked another question, she just walked away and left us standing at the reception. I found this to be very unprofessional. The staff, however, were polite and helpful. Due to the negative experience with the owner, I unfortunately cannot recommend the hotel.

Nice, simple hotel, unfortunately the restaurant was closed... the ladies at the reception were very nice, got us (10 soaked bikers) a case of beer 🍺, unfortunately warm when we arrived the first time, but cooled down the second time 🤪....a good pizzeria was recommended to us and reserved. Unfortunately the room had very few sockets Breakfast was very good.

Rooms are nice, space enough, bathroom sufficient. Breakfast for 6 euros has a lot of choice, the only thing that's good is the selection of sausages? Two kinds is not enough, salami and two kinds of ham, more is possible.

Inside a more quiet town, but only a few minutes from Weiden if you like larger crowds, the Grader is the place to stay. Friendly staff, great breakfast, and restaurants in walking distance, not to mention the restaurant in the Grader itself, it’s not a surprise to see 5/5.

Good, clean mid-range hotel with a good price/performance ratio. The rooms are a bit old but very well maintained and clean. There are only 2 sockets, only one of which can be used conveniently, for example for charging devices. Breakfast quite varied, but at the time of the stay there were a lot of craftsmen who had to get out early so that eggs, sausages and bacon were available almost cold for those who had a late breakfast (9 a.m.). Extremely friendly staff. Overall, I was satisfied with the hotel stay and would or will book there again.

Very nice hotel. The rooms are comfortably furnished and you can feel very comfortable. There are seating areas where you can sit together in a cozy atmosphere in the evening. The breakfast is very tasty and sufficient. There is something for everyone.

The hotel staff is wonderful and very helpful. The breakfast is very good. They also have a restaurant that only open on certain days but has amazing food and service. The rooms are comfortable. If you’re over 6 feet then you might have a problem with the beds because they are built into a fixed platform. Overall the hotel grader has exceeded my expectations. Thank you.

Stay far away from this hotel if you want to avoid developing allergic reactions! The hotel is very old and has wall to wall carpets that smell both sour, old and bad! You notice it well in the mornings with a runny nose and a swollen face. If you step on the carpet barefoot, you will notice that it is sticky under your feet! Keep away!

Very hard beds, the older rooms are very worn out, right on the main street therefore very loud, a fan runs about every 20 minutes at night. If you have a room facing the inner courtyard. Staff friendly. Everything you need at breakfast
