We (4 people) came here for lunch during the week and were immediately given a very nice table right at the entrance without a reservation! Overall, we were satisfied with the food we ordered, only the vegetable plate could still have room for improvement in terms of taste and quality. Overall, the price/performance ratio is definitely good here, in contrast to most of the other places we know. The service was also great and professional. In any case, we would be happy to come back as soon as our next visit to the well-known garden center takes place.

Very good restaurant with a nice ambience and quick and friendly staff. We were there as part of a bus tour. We also looked at the town of Rain. Very nice and well-kept city. The destination of the trip was the headquarters of the Dehmer company. An absolutely recommended destination. Great park and of course flowers as far as the eye can see. I was surprised by the flamingos in the park.

Finally a great meal again at reasonable prices. For a while you couldn't eat here anymore because the food was really substandard. Now the map was reduced in size and that was successful. The food is great and affordable!

We had lunch with friends at Boarn and were very satisfied. Delicious dishes, prices are really reasonable and the atmosphere is rustic and cozy. The waitresses were on the ball, but could have been a bit friendlier. We'd love to come back :)

Wir waren mit Freunden beim Boarn zum Mittagessen und top zufrieden. Leckere Gerichte, Preise wirklich komplett in Ordnung und das Ambiente urig, gemütlich. Die Bedienungen waren auf Zack, hätten aber nen Ticken freundlicher sein können. Wir kommen gerne wieder :)

We ate there. Was a big menu. No wish remains unfulfilled. Cheap and very good. You should order a table.

Rooms are functionally equipped. The bathroom is a bit small, the shower cubicle is very narrow. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and well maintained. There is enough parking space behind the hotel. If it's not lunch time, you can also get a parking space. Very friendly staff. The breakfast buffet is very rich and with a large selection. Highly recommended.

We were disappointed with the food. It wasn't so bad that you could complain, but it just wasn't good. Neither roast pork, roast veal nor pork fillet could convince. The child didn't even like the spaetzle with sauce. Sorry, but you still have the large bus groups eating at your place. We don't need to come back.

We were there often with friends and family and were always very satisfied. Price performance was always top. I don't know what has happened in the last 3 months. It was full as always, only this time we had to wait forever. The service was so unfriendly. Prices have risen, but unfortunately the quality of the food has declined. Unfortunately it was just a canteen atmosphere. Even the drinks weren't good. Like syrup with water. The salad was wilted, the beef fillet was tough, and the potato salad tasted rancid. It's just a shame... If it stays like this, unfortunately we won't be coming anymore.

Farming with flair. Plenty of choice of food, cold or warm. Prices are appropriate for the portions. Meat is nice and tender, salad tastes good. Suitable for children, they keep an eye on you. Wheelchair users, you have to go through a step into the economy. We recommend!

You can't complain about the restaurant itself, but you can complain about the parking situation. We were a larger group, the mini parking lot that comes with it holds maybe 14 cars. The others had to park on the side of the road, a really wide street. It wasn't obvious to me that these peripheral spaces are supposedly also residents' parking spaces. The end of the song, 90% of our group then had a parking ticket from the city of Rain stuck under their windshield wipers. And each with a different amount! You simply change the offense and I was at €10 and my sister-in-law was at €20. You come as a mourning group and have to pay at 12 o'clock on a Friday afternoon.

Unfriendly reception. Had to wait and were not greeted. The first question was “Reserved or not?” Then: "Ok, come with me" puts down menus and moves on without a word. The restaurant is almost empty, but all tables are supposedly reserved. Order is taken. Comes very quickly. Schnitzel dry and it looks like it's twice fried. Fries are good. Cordonbleu isn't much better. Almost no filling. There is no space on the plates to cut. Meat is on the fries. A bag of ketchup will have to do. There used to be a side salad with it. Fillet pan is ok, sauce is over seasoned. 4, 1.5 cm thin slices of fillet. It's sad that there has been so much neglect here. Quality looks different, especially with your own butcher shop. And the fact that dogs are no longer allowed isn't a plus either. Sorry, but you won't see us anymore.

Unfortunately, there is nothing on the internet that says dogs are unwanted. We had our small dog with us, who was sitting in the dog buggy, and was rudely pointed out. Then they left immediately.

Hier kann man günstig und sehr gut essen. Bedienung ist sehr freundlich. Unser Menü schmeckte außerordentlich gut. Portionen sind groß. Gemütlich ist es auch.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Das Personal war zuvorkommend und freundlich. Das Essen war perfekt, wir hatten eine knusprige Ente die frisch und lecker war und einen wunderbaren Schweinsbraten.

Die Kürbiscreme Suppe war wie Wasser und schmeckte nach nix. Und das ist nicht übertrieben. Die Kellnerin gab mir Recht. Bezahlen musste ich Sie trotzdem. Als Ausgleich wurde mir ein Dessert angeboten. Die Rinderfiletspitzen waren sehr gut. Es ist hier immer ein auf und ab mit dem Essen. Mal ist es gut und mal echt richtig schlecht. Der gute und freundliche Service, reißt es raus.

Gutes Essen faire Preise nettes Personal

Ach ist das herrlich entspannt hier. Ein sehr großes gemütliches Gasthaus hat uns empfangen. Es ist hell und dennoch gemütlich beleuchtet. Hier wird sogar noch Karten gespielt. Bayerische Gemütlichkeit eben. Der Service ist schnell und aufmerksam. Das Essen sehr schnell serviert. Die Qualität ist Standard, wobei das Fleisch deutlich vom Standard abweicht. Sehr gute Konsistenz und auf den Punkt gebraten. Das Dunkle Bier aus dem Faß empfehlenswert. So sitzt man hier auf typischen Holzstühlen und gemütlichen Eckbänken und lässt sich gleich ein zweites Bier einschenken. Im Sommer gibts sogar Außenbestuhlung an der Straße.

Essen ist immer reichlich preislich vollkommen in Ordnung! Wir gehen wenn wir in ein deutsches Restitution gehen nur da hin! Absolut empfehlenswert, bitte 🙏 haltet das auch bei

An einem Montag Abend beim "Boarn" eingekehrt. Was soll man sagen: Fast voll die gute Stube!! Das Essen war sehr gut, preislich sehr in Ordnung und die Bedienung freundlich. Zudem gibt's Bier vom Fass! Auch nicht überall zu finden. Passt soweit! Den Boarn kann man empfehlen!

Schöne Karte,sehr gute Essen, aufmerksame Bedienung, was will man mehr! Und die Preise sind TOP Die Zimmer im Hause sind auch schön bayrisch eingerichtet und der Preis stimmt auch hier!

Bewertung für die Gaststätte: sehr gutes, bürgerliches Essen zu vernünftigen Preisen. Portionen sind groß, aber nicht übermäßig. Schön, dass sich hier noch Kartenspieler treffen können. Sehr gut ist auch, dass es kein lästiges Hintergrund-Gedudle gibt. Bedienung ist freundlich und fix, ohne aufdringlich zu sein.

Leider gibt es keine Milzwurst mehr!!!! Das war noch eines der wenigen Wirtshäuser. Ich erhöhe auch 5 Sterne sobald sie wieder erhältlich ist.

Essen war schon besser, aber soweit ok, leider kein Salat bei den Hauptgerichten, deshalb auch etwas günstiger.

Leider hat sich die angrenzende Metzgerei nicht bei der Qualität des Schnitzels bewährt. Es hat einfach nicht geschmeckt. Schade. Das Seelachsfilet war knusprig und die Remoulade lecker.

Wir wurden sehr unfreundlich empfangen, Kaffe musste man betteln, Eier gab es keine mehr, dafür nur noch eine Breze und Fabriksemmeln, Käse und Wurst war sehr spärlich und die Bedienung war unhöfflich-forsch und unverschämt.....

In der urigen Gaststube geht die Post ab. Die Bedienung ist freundlich und flott. Die Speisenauswahl ist deftig und reichlich. Die Portionen sind groß; der Entenbraten ist sehr zu empfehlen. Die Preise sind sehr moderat.

Gute bayrische Küche in der Mitte von rain. Wer keine Pizza mag ist hier richtig. Einiger Plätze sind auch draußen, somit kann man auch das City Flair genießen.

Waren auf dem Weihnachtsmarkt in Donauwört sehr schön und klein aber fein.Anschließend fuhren wir nach Rain das sind 25 km aber für ein gute Essen macht man es gerne.Nette Bedienung schneller Service nach 15 Minuten stand das Essen schon auf dem Tisch.Schweine Haxen mit Salat Knödel und Kartoffelsalat riesen Portion für schlappe 9,80 Euro.Das bekommt man bei uns nicht um den Preis,sehr Lecker und Schmakhaft nur Empfällenswert.

Wir sind im Zuge einer kleinen Motorrad Tour nach Rain gekommen. Der Hunger hat uns hier her getrieben. Wir waren nachmittags um 15 uhr hier und sind schnell bedient worden. Toll sind die Menüs. Da bekommt man was für sein Geld. Wir kommen wieder.
