Hotel Carola in Olbernhau

We spent a weekend vacation here with family. The hotel was the base station for trips to Seifen and the surrounding area. Rooms very good value for money. We also ate here every evening and were completely satisfied with everything. Great staff, courteous rooms were cleaned daily a clear recommendation. We'd love to come back

Beautiful, quaint, rustic hotel. The rooms are clean and functional. The breakfast was very good and there was plenty of everything. The food in the mRestaurant is freshly and regionally prepared. The staff is super friendly and has an open ear for everything. We stayed here with our friends for 4 days and chose half board. We were able to choose the food and our wishes were catered for. We would be happy to come back and can recommend the hotel with a clear conscience.

There were 6 of us (3 generations) staying here for 3 nights. We all felt really comfortable and warmly welcomed. The family rooms are clean and nice and big (a big plus if you are traveling with 2 children). At breakfast there was a delicious selection, it was always topped up and our special requests were fulfilled. We haven't had such delicious scrambled eggs in a hotel for ages. Overall, a great price/performance ratio and a very nice host. We would love to come back again. Regarding the location, a good starting point for a day trip to Seiffen.

The hotel itself makes a good impression at first glance. But then it started. The bathroom was not clean, hair on the walls, mold on the edge of the shower. The owner is not open to criticism at all and was of the opinion that we do this as a scam everywhere, sticking our hair to the wall. She didn't even want to look at the room. Here I will inform you what the situation was. Look at the WhatsApp history, at the beginning she was reasonable, but then the mood changed. The owner was unbelievable, she kicked us out and still withheld the tourist tax for the second day. People make up your own mind, but the lady is incredibly unreasonable.

Hotel is no longer in the newest condition, but clean and tidy. Breakfast is very good... Got my warm Kaba and good selection. Scrambled eggs were also delicious. Rooms are well equipped with everything you need. WiFi reception is really good in the room. It is recommended for 1-3 days. And last but not least: the landlady is such a nice, lovely woman! That's how you want it.

Rustic hotel, breakfast is good... coffee and scrambled eggs are very good. Rooms adequately equipped with what you need. The room is prepared every day. Reception is very friendly. It is recommended for the weekend.

Here we had a family celebration with an overnight stay. Everything was booked at short notice. And we weren't disappointed! We had a very good dinner a la carte. We can recommend therechnerberger beer👍🍻. The rooms were well equipped, WiFi worked. The breakfast buffet was sufficient. Overall, the price-performance ratio is also right!!! Special thanks to the manager of the house, we can only recommend the Hotel Carola. Thanks again for the lovely evening!

It is a very clean hotel that was probably recently renovated. There was a plentiful breakfast and the service was very accommodating. Unfortunately we didn't eat dinner because the prices were a bit high!

I travel a lot and you always need good accommodation and here in this hotel it's like home, it's furnished normally, it's very clean, very friendly 😊. The food tasted very fresh and very tasty 😋. I would very much like to come back to this house. Until then, many great guests for this great hotel!!!! 👍🏻
