A completely worry-free service! A friendly welcome, very comfortable rooms, and a top-notch breakfast! The restaurant prices are reasonable, and the staff are very accommodating. We'd love to come back.

A welcoming establishment with very friendly and courteous staff. Everything is clean and tidy, everyone is helpful and takes time for their guests. The breakfast was also extensive and delicious. In the evening, I ate in the restaurant with a friend. It was delicious, freshly prepared, and the staff were very attentive. The atmosphere within the team seems to be very good; they worked together very well and supported one another.

Our wedding reception at Becher Donzdorf was very disappointing! None of the courses were presented as they had been at the tasting: While the tasting menu was presented in a "fine cuisine" style, the reception unfortunately took a turn for the more "home-style" style. There was too much time between serving each table, as well as between the main course and the accompanying side dish. The waiters seemed slightly overwhelmed by the wedding party and the other guests in the restaurant, but they remained very friendly and accommodating nonetheless. As a small compensation for a disappointing wedding menu, my better half and I were offered a free coffee :-)

The food and staff deserve full marks, but the guesthouse is very dated. The carpet is rusty, the furniture, and the bathroom are worn. The bathtub drain, probably from the 1980s, is already rusted. The bathroom is pitch-dark. The unpleasant smell in the rooms comes from the rusty floor. The curtains are dirty and gray and need replacing or urgently cleaning. The fewer staff members are giving their all. Please urgently take care of the guesthouse. The main building is excellent.

My room didn't match the online photos. There were also mildew stains on the ceiling, dirty towels, an unpleasant odor in the room, and the bathroom fan didn't work. To top it all off, I was woken up in the middle of the night by the neighbors' toilet flushing, which ran very loudly and for a very long time... The service was positive: The towels were changed quickly, and both the food in the restaurant and the breakfast were very good.

The hotel is conveniently located, you can go hiking, and the Alb Card gives you great flexibility, allowing you to travel to the surrounding towns and villages by bus or train.

We were there for a wedding and stayed overnight. The hall was very beautiful, and the restrooms were top-notch too! The food was delicious, but the dessert was a bit lackluster. The service was attentive. I felt a bit sorry for the head of the waiting staff, as he was the only one who did his best. I still considered the party itself a complete success! The reason I'm giving it such a bad review, however, is the floorless rooms. We booked a double room, and there were only two absolutely ugly single beds next to each other. When we entered the room after the party, I couldn't believe my eyes. The carpet was completely outdated and stained, the bed was totally "cheap" and not up-to-date. The toilet and sink were very clean, but the shower was completely worn out, and there was black mold in the corners. The shower head was completely eaten away by limescale. When I showed the lady the pictures at checkout and asked if she would sleep in a room like that, she immediately shook her head and wanted to write everything down, but she didn't. We paid €108 for one night with breakfast... In my opinion, that's a total disgrace, since you can get rooms 100 times nicer for that money. My recommendation to anyone thinking about planning an overnight wedding there: Invest your money and your nerves elsewhere!!! :) P.S. That's by no means all that went wrong.

We were invited to a wedding. The dining rooms are really beautifully rustic and look very inviting. A really delicious tarte flambée was served at the champagne reception. But that was the only tasty thing. According to the menu, the first dish was supposed to be burrata, arugula with basil pesto, then guinea fowl breast with pearl barley risoto and vegetable pearls, and to finish with white chocolate mango parfum on a strawberry mirror. Almost none of it was on the plates. Burrata was mozzarella, pesto from a jar, arugula was fine. The guinea fowl breast was more like a chicken thigh with extra loose skin, there were no vegetable pearls to be found, pearl barley was fine, and the sauce was delicious. There was no taste of mango in the mango parfum, it was just sweet and tasted exclusively of vanilla, and the strawberry mirror consisted of sweetened, chopped strawberries. So, brides and grooms, pay attention to what you order on a wedding menu like this and what is actually served. The service was generally okay. One would have preferred the staff to be more formally dressed for the occasion. Personally, I didn't find the gray T-shirts with the large caterer logo particularly chic. Overall, it was still a nice celebration, but I would never hold my own wedding there.

Reasonably good. It appears to be completely modern. However, there's a guesthouse that's just part of the old hotel with significantly cheaper prices. Overall, though, it's okay. The price is reasonable for the amenities and cleanliness. The main building is very modern, and they serve breakfast there. The staff is also mostly friendly, although sometimes a bit overworked.

We attended a wedding from Saturday to Sunday. The buffet was perfectly balanced, and everyone could enjoy all the dishes. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The rooms were a bit dated, but spacious and clean. The price per night for the older-style rooms might bother some people. Breakfast had a wide selection and was also very good quality. We would be happy to come back.

A very beautiful, rustic hotel with fantastic service and very reasonable prices. There's also plenty to do in the surrounding area, including hiking and wellness. A visit is definitely worth it.

Small town with a castle. We went to the beer garden for sausage salad. It was delicious.

Friendly, attentive staff. Lovely outdoor area to relax in. Large, stylish room. Excellent blackout blinds. The faux leather headboard of the bed is very loose and crumbling. Very hard, uncomfortable mattress of the simplest design (Bonell springs), which we were very disappointed with given the price. Considerable noise pollution from two busy streets, especially in the morning hours. Unfortunately, lunch is only served on Sundays. Value for money not satisfactory for us.

We attended a wedding at the Becher Hotel on Saturday. The champagne reception was good. Unfortunately, the food and the portion sizes per person weren't well-chosen. The last guests only got leftovers, and the buffet wasn't refilled even though not everyone had eaten. I thought that was a real shame and shouldn't be happening. I was very disappointed.

We spent four nights here and had a very pleasant stay at the Hotel Becher. It is located near the beautiful castle gardens. Ample parking is available directly at the hotel or nearby. Our room was spacious and very clean. The food was very good, and menu changes were always possible. The dedicated staff were extremely friendly.

Only stayed one night. Everything was fine. The shower was a bit dated, but it was clean and quiet. Plenty of parking. Very good value for money. I'd be happy to come back.

We spent a weekend at the hotel as a group. The reception was very friendly and the service was excellent in all areas! The breakfast left nothing to be desired, and the dinner was also delicious! The rooms in the annex and some areas of the restaurant (chairs) are in need of renovation! We all felt very comfortable and welcome!

Unfortunately we didn't have any fresh towels in our double room.

Rooms are a bit old. Still clean and comfortable. Bed comfortable and back-friendly. Food was super tasty and very cheap for the portions. Highly recommended!!!

I spent one night in the Becher guesthouse and was thoroughly impressed. I received a very friendly welcome when I checked in, which immediately created a pleasant atmosphere. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable - ideal for unwinding after a long day. I was particularly impressed by the loving furnishings, which give the house a charming, personal character. The breakfast the next morning was also great: fresh, varied and prepared with great attention to detail. Exactly what you want for a successful start to the day. Overall, an all-round successful stay - I would be happy to come back and can recommend the Gästehaus Becher without reservation.

They contact Lieferando, but delivery times are three times longer than the specified time.

A large evening event. Everything was good and delicious. Then, when it came to paying, there was only one server for the hall. Long wait times. A shame, it spoils the otherwise good overall impression.

We were the only guests on a Saturday evening. The service was awful, they barely understood German, and they were very inattentive. The starter plates sat empty in front of us for 30 minutes before we cleared them ourselves. My food tasted very good, but the other four people's food was abysmal. Unfortunately, we won't be coming back.

Dear people, spend your hard-earned money elsewhere! You'll only be annoyed if you leave it at the Becher Hotel.👎🏼 The rooms are okay, and that's about it. The hotel also calls itself a restaurant. Then you'd expect the food to be impeccable. Far from it. Very far. Fortunately, there are enough alternatives nearby, as the food is terrible. Ready-made sauces, Metro convenience products, and no eye for presentation on the plate. I ate better and, above all, fresher food at the school camp. I don't know if it's simply the Swabian hospitality that leaves something to be desired, or specifically the hotel itself. You really felt more like a guest there. The pictures on the website are very misleading. The sauna and wellness area are not what they promise; they're rather improvised, and the pictures of the food are stock footage from the internet. Etc. Anyone who wants to spend time together must be lucky, because if the hotel is busy (for whatever reason), you'll end up sharing a very small dining table with complete strangers. From breakfast to dinner... You'd love that sort of thing. 🤗 I could say more, but I think the point has been made. Worst hotel experience I've ever had to endure. I'm happy for the people who gave it 5/5. I just can't understand it.

The room was clean and nice, but cold; we felt uncomfortable because of the cold. The bathroom vent was broken. Despite repeated complaints, nothing was done. Dinner was too little, and we weren't able to get it. The hotel has an old bowling alley, which we had a lot of fun on.

It was with great anticipation that we went to the Christmas dinner in the Becher today. A great ambience awaited us and a warm welcome. But after eating our menu, we unfortunately have to say that the price-performance ratio leaves a lot to be desired. At such a price we were expecting a warm meal food and a warm plate. It's a shame that the enthusiasm quickly faded Stoll family.

After consulting by phone, we had a table online for December 25th. reserved. Everything in front of the restaurant was dark, no one was there. After calling, the door was opened and we were told that the restaurant was always closed over Christmas. The fault lies with the telephone exchange. No excuse. Absolute failure.

Rooms in the annex probably haven't been cleaned in a while. Cobwebs on the ceilings, dirt stains in the bathroom on the flow, headboard on the bed totally scratched, terrace storage area from the hotel old and uncomfortable, restaurant for breakfast the cushions on the benches were dirty. The only positive thing was a good breakfast. We had the feeling that we weren't doing any work and were paying for a room that couldn't be rented out for the price

We booked one night with breakfast with our two children. The room we booked with an extra bed was great. Bathroom was very spacious with a large shower. The only thing missing was a sink on the toilet. You had to go to the main bathroom to wash your hands. We were a little disappointed at breakfast, no service, milk for coffee and cereal was sour, some rolls were no longer refilled for other guests. It always had to be pointed out. This is not normally the guests' job. He should always have a service person look after him. The tomato mozzarella salad was also not fresh because the mozzarella was hard. So I think when you're in a "hotel" you can expect something different. But overall the one night was okay.

The rooms in the annex where I stayed remind me very much of my grandmother's apartment. And I don't want to say anything more about it.

The rating is based only on the delivery service! For the price, the pike perch was a measly portion and the potato salad was totally acidic due to the gherkins. Spare ribs were also mukrug and the fries were rock hard. The only thing worth mentioning was the schnitzel. You can't go wrong there. Portion was out of quantity. All in all for just under 65 euros, it's a bit of a waste when you consider that everything is bought almost ready-made wholesale and is quickly put through the deep fryer. Next time? No!

What's a bit annoying is that you're not offered the AlbCard right away when you check in, which is why we had to come back because we didn't think to ask for it right away. This caused unnecessarily long waiting times because it was busy the second time. The room was very clean and nice, the light in the bathroom was a bit dim. Breakfast was delicious when it was there. In other words, you had to actively ask the staff to refill certain things because they couldn't keep up. There is a coffee machine, but milk drinks were blocked.

Rooms clean, spacious and quiet. The neighboring house is a bit old. Staff friendly and accommodating. They always took care of our concerns right away. Unfortunately the staff was totally understaffed. Therefore a big compliment to the entire staff at the hotel.

We celebrated our wedding at the Hotel Becher. The entire team was very committed and friendly. Every wish could be implemented. Everything went smoothly on the wedding day too. We accommodated our guests in the hotel and were more than thrilled. We would like to say a big thank you again.

I'm not a fan of not staying in the main house, so I deducted a star for the room. The room itself as well as breakfast, service, price and location were absolutely great - we would come back!

Room was nice and clean. The sauna and the great view on the balcony are an absolute highlight! Service can be expanded. Instead of the sparkling wine I ordered, I received a Pinot Blanc in my room. When we booked dinner, I had to announce again that I was a vegetarian. My dinner was also rather improvised. Breakfast buffet was also rather poor for me as a vegetarian :( A nice stay in itself, but the service could be improved!

We stayed in the main house for 4 days. The room was actually an apartment, very nice, super clean and very quiet. The service left nothing to be desired. The employees make sure that the hotel guests don't lack anything, they are very motivated and friendly. We cannot understand these negative reviews. This is my first hotel review ever and we will definitely recommend the hotel!

The hotel consists of two houses. The building next door has spacious, clean rooms with TV and WiFi. The rooms and furnishings are getting old. The service is very good.

The restaurant is highly recommended. Onion roast roast tastes good. The soup beforehand also tasted very good. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

Very friendly staff, cheap and good restaurant, but the rooms in the adjacent building really need renovation. Carpeting and old upholstered furniture, rotten silicone joints and old sanitary facilities are no longer acceptable these days. Unfortunately not recommended for those with house dust allergies... it's a shame, as many other efforts will unfortunately come to nothing.

We stayed there for one night and had a very nice room with a terrace. We really liked the hotel. Parking options were very good right outside the door. The breakfast was very good and rich. We got the Alb Card which is a great thing especially for families with children. The staff was always nice and helpful.

We were there for a weekend. And should go to the guest house... and go back to the main house to the reception. Of course the rooms are very old, but you have a mouth to speak. The gentleman at the reception couldn't help us straight away, but the nice lady gave us room 93 in the main building for an extra charge... and we can only say... very nice. Of course there is a lot to do at breakfast when the hotel is full, but after a certain time everything is no longer filled up and if you have any wishes you can get it. I am myself Breakfast management and that's how you work so as not to throw away a lot. We were completely satisfied. The kitchen also has to be praised, what we ate was very tasty and a lot. The entire staff was very friendly, Mr. Weber is a blessing for your hotel. His eyes are everywhere, despite a lot of stress he takes time for his guests. We were in the hotel for a wedding (very nice hall and a great terrace). I describe the room and breakfast in detail separately, but I would like to say something about the staff here: The staff was available and not unfriendly, but almost invisible. Even at breakfast there was no one to contact if you had any questions; overall, there was no one who approached you or at least gave the impression that you were allowed to speak to them. The check-in was short and painless, and when checking out you weren't asked if everything was okay. I found the whole thing to be a correct check-in, but not as "they're very nice here, I'd love to come back." The housekeeping, on the other hand, is very nice, a greeting to the cheerful lady who had to quickly prepare our room so that it was ready before 3 p.m.

Very nice hotel in Donzdorf. The rooms in the guest house are a bit old (but I was informed of this and could have slept in the main house as it is newer and more expensive) but very clean. It was only for one night and therefore completely sufficient. The breakfast was also perfectly fine and the staff was very friendly. PS: I'd love to come back 👍

We were only in the cup for breakfast. Basically it was ok for a price of 21 euros per person... if everything had been there. A wedding party from the previous evening had probably stayed there overnight and it was accordingly full. The buffet was pretty empty... only leftovers of scrambled eggs or fruit... basically everything. Every now and then something was filled up a little bit, but it was always quickly empty again. The prosecco that was supposedly included in the price was not available, which was a shame. We weren't guests in the hotel, we just wanted to have a delicious breakfast on Sunday... I can definitely get better deals elsewhere for the money... although it wasn't bad, but I had imagined it differently.

Had a single room in the guest house. The room was simply furnished, but sufficient for an overnight stay. Clean. There was no hot water at the sink. The ventilation in the bathroom didn't work.

We stayed here for an overnight stay at a wedding reception. The restaurant and the festival hall were very nice and modern, the food tasted good, but the room was very old and not appropriate for the price. It also smelled very musty. You would expect something different for the price. In addition, the organization and coordination with the service team was anything but good. The wait staff was sometimes very unfriendly and far too few for the number of wedding guests. You had to wait too long for food and drinks, which was unfortunately organized in an absolutely unprofessional manner. The champagne reception was simply served in the festival hall instead of outside as agreed, which caused confusion. The main course was 40 minutes late. Unfortunately, we can't recommend this at all!!!

Unfortunately, we don't understand the overall rating of 3.8 stars at all. We paid a small extra charge and slept in a business room in the guest house for 2 nights. The room was very clean, the Samsung Smart TV was very large, the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately we didn't sleep well on the pillow, but okay. The breakfast was great, nothing was left to be desired. Service great. We didn't hear the weddings on Friday and Saturday and were therefore not disturbed.

Unfortunately it turned out very bad. Clogged sink and rusted shower tray. The staff is totally overwhelmed 30 minutes until a drink comes and almost 45 minutes for a schnitzel with potato salad. I think the hotel era is over. I'll look for another place to stay next time.

Hotel employees are very and very customer friendly. They allowed me to check in a few hours early because of my dog. Room and bathroom clean but not the latest furnishings.
