Wunderbare Lage des Hotels,herrliche Wanderwege. Sehr freundliches, kompetentes Personal und das Menü schmeckt einfach gut. Bin sehr begeistert

Zimmer war alt, direkt neben dem Lift mit Blick darauf und das Fenster könnte man nicht wirklich verdunkeln

Sehr sauberes Zimmer im Zentrum. Der Empfangen und das übrige Personal waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir werden wieder kommen.

Ich war am Muttertag zum Mittagessen im Restaurant. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich von Manuel! Ein ruhiges Plätzchen in der Ecke wurde uns zugewiesen. Leider waren wir an diesem Ort so versteckt, daß uns die eigentlich zugewiesene Servicekraft nicht bemerkte. Manuel der aufmerksame Retter hatte es dann nach 45 Minuten bemerkt und uns mit Getränken versorgt. Leider wurden später von der Servicekraft wieder vergessen und Manuel musste wieder einspringen! Nach Schichtwechsel wurden wir durch die kompetente und sehr bemühte Ewa hervorragend betreut. Das Essen hat dann alles rausgerissen ❤️ Geschmacksexplosive Kombinationen... die Begeisterung hält noch länger an! Wir werden schon allein wegen dem Essen und in Hoffnung auf guten Service durch Manuel und Ewa wieder kommen!

Haben noch nicht Übernachtet, wurden freundlichweise durchs Hotel geführt mit Zimmerbesichtigung. Sehr geschmakvoll eigerichet. Sehr freundliche Dame. Beim nächsten Asona Besuch werden wir hier buchen.

Aufgrund eines langen Staus auf dem Weg nach Süden haben wir spontan in der Alten Post ein Zimmer gebucht. Eine gute Entscheidung! Das Zimmer in der Etage der Dichter & Denker war sehr schön, ein Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür und ein tolles Frühstück mit bestem Service. Dazu ein sehr freundlicher Empfang/ Verabschiedung, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Essen war phantastisch und sehr lecker! Service sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, sieht man selten einen so guten Service. Toll das durchgehen warme Küche und auch am Sonntag und Samstag, weil in Müllheim sind praktisch alle Restaurant am Mittag oder Samstag/ Sonntag geschlossen. Die alte Post hat eine Marktlücke entdeckt hoffe es bleibt so, weil wirklich ausgesprochen hohe Qualität und sehr freundliche und schöne Atmosphäre, man fühlt sich sehr wohl! Danke an das Team!

Es ist ein sehr schönes und traditionstreiches Hotel was auf eine interessante Vergangenheit zurück schauen kann. Das Personal ist überaus liebenswert und hilfsbereit. Ich habe mich von Anfang an wohl gefühlt. Das Zimmer war sauber und das Bett bequem, tolles Frühstück hat meine Aufenthalt abgerundet. Ich kann es jedem empfehlen.

Das Hotel ist: okay. Nicht mehr und nicht weniger. In unserem Zimmer war das Bad so klein, dass es nicht möglich war, dort zu zweit zu sein, auch für beleibte Menschen allein eher eng. Wir hatten im Zimmer einen angenehmen Holzfußboden, das hat uns gefallen. Generell wirkt der Anbau von innen und außen sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Fenster uralt...viele schwarze Flecken am Rahmen, Farbe blättert ab. Den Stil der 80er (inkl Geruch - könnte man einfach verändern) mögen wir gar nicht. Aber es war sauber. Personal in Bar und Frühstücksbereich sehr freundlich!! Für meine Verhältnisse etwas zu hochpreisig für das, was man bekommt.

Ich hatte einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in der Alten Post. Als Geschäftsreisender mit Sinn für gute Küche und erlesene Weine war mein Aufenthalt im Hebelstube ein absoluter Volltreffer. Die Speisen war hervorragend — besonders das Tatar am Abend hat mich begeistert. Der Wein war eine perfekte Empfehlung und ideal auf das Essen abgestimmt. Der Service war professionell, aufmerksam und herzlich. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Hotel Alte Post ‑Team – ich komme sehr gerne wieder!

I stayed there for two days for a company meeting. The location is right on the main road at the roundabout and not exactly ideal. The traffic noise in my room was manageable in the evening, but in the morning, the traffic starts as early as 5 a.m., which can be a problem for light sleepers. The bathroom (especially the shower) is quite small, but it has underfloor heating, which I couldn't find anywhere to turn off. I'm sure you could ask the staff about that. The mattress was too thin for me personally, but that's certainly subjective. The access to the hotel is good, there are plenty of parking spaces, including some with charging stations for electric cars. The rooms themselves are clean, but the furnishings are simple (at least mine were). The food is upscale and really delicious. Kudos to the chef. This isn't home cooking; you have to like that. The barbecue in the evening was good, though! The breakfast is fine; everything you need is there, and the staff keeps you supplied. There can be a queue at the coffee machine at certain times, but that's manageable. The attentive and friendly staff deserves special mention. A real highlight.

We stopped there on our way home from Lake Maggiore. A beautiful organic inn, lovingly run, with lovely rooms and a unique decor. Absolutely recommended, please eat there. The cuisine is second to none. Absolutely fantastic, impeccable service, a perfect evening, and that means something to us.

I definitely recommend this hotel. It was our second stay, and both were excellent. The staff were friendly, and we received very helpful service at the reception. The rooms are very spacious; we had the Walnuss room. One minor point: we had a small bathroom. The food in the restaurant was truly excellent. Breakfast was also good, with fresh produce and tasty rolls, but the scrambled eggs would have been nice with a bit of bacon. Dinner was truly excellent. Plenty of variety and fresh produce. Definitely recommended.

Beautiful hotel. Large rooms and a comfortable bed. Friendly and helpful staff. We arrived late, but they arranged for us to eat at the on-site restaurant. This was also the case last year, so not a one-off. Delicious breakfast. And very dog-friendly.

Nice hotel in Müllheim! The 'Alte Post' is conveniently located on the main road and close to the old town. It's a historic old building that formerly served as a post office. There are additional buildings that house the rooms, and in the courtyard, there's a lovely beer garden under plane and fig trees. The rooms are adequately large and well-equipped. Next to the beer garden, there's a restaurant serving good food. The service is very attentive, polite, and courteous. The breakfast buffet, which starts at 7:00 a.m., is well-stocked, with one suggestion for improvement: offering bacon with the scrambled eggs. This is a good place to stay, comfortable accommodations, and excellent food. Anyone looking for accommodation in Müllheim or the surrounding area can highly recommend the 'Alte Post'.

Just stopped for a drink. Beautiful place and the staff are charming. Nice beer garden and plenty of parking. Dog-friendly. I can imagine this would be a lovely place to stay.

The hotel was fine, the staff friendly and the breakfast delicious. However, the beds were very uncomfortable. The sofa bed in the room was more comfortable than the sagging mattress. At a price of €200 per night I expected more. Since the bed is one of the most important things in the hotel, I can unfortunately only give it two stars.

Search through classifieds for employees. But I've been waiting for an answer for 2 weeks. You don't have to be surprised if you can't find any staff.

What a fantastic boutique hotel! The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The room was both comfortable and inviting, blending modern amenities with traditional charm. The restaurant was absolutely outstanding. I was here on a business trip and was pleasantly surprised to find such a high-quality hotel and restaurant in a small town.

Successful modernization of a historic 'post office' into a sustainability-oriented and inviting hotel! No musty carpets or plastic, but light hardwood, pastel-colored walls, and various details of the interior decoration and furnishings impress with a 360° panoramic view. The imaginative and delicious fusion cuisine and the friendly, attentive staff round out the positive impression. We enjoyed a delicious meal in the Hebelstube restaurant in the old post office late one evening on our way home from vacation and were then able to rest our weary limbs in a wonderful bed overlooking the garden. EXTRA *: Electric charging station directly in the parking lot! Dear Mack family & team – thumbs up for your skillful combination of professionalism with creative zeitgeist, including the many imaginative details – keep it up!

Excellent hotel in a small town. Very friendly staff. Toy box at the reception. Welcome soft drink for us. Very smart and minimalist design. The restaurant was also good. The rooms are in a different building behind the reception and you have to go outside to access them though there is a covered walkway. Parking was easy and free. The room itself was spacious and clean. The bathroom is a little small but sufficient. There is a balcony which would be great for the summer I imagine

I really enjoyed my stay at the Alte Post. The location is very convenient, not far from the major German and French motorways, and despite the proximity of the B3, there is a pleasant silence in the hotel. The service was excellent: I travel a lot in Europe and have never found a warmer welcome anywhere else (including for my dog, who was allowed to come to the restaurant - thank you very much!). Furthermore, the dinner and breakfast were absolutely great: the dinner starter looked so beautiful, I had to photograph it and admire it for a long time before I could bring myself to eat it! My room on the ground floor looked directly out onto the garden (very convenient for my four-legged friend) and there is also a charging station for electric cars. Keep it up, dear Old Post employees! There is very little to improve! We'll be back!

We were at the Hotel Alte Post for the annual kitchen party. The service was excellent, the rooms were very comfortable and the food was outstanding! Everyone was very open and approachable, and food and drinks were explained upon request. Top support without being a bit annoying. There is also an electric car charging point from Naturstrom in the hotel parking lot. The inner courtyard is also beautifully designed and invites you to linger! We had a really good time and would love to come back!

A defect in the car meant that we “had to” spend a night in this very tasteful hotel. We had a spacious room facing the inner courtyard, which creates a real Mediterranean atmosphere on warm summer evenings. The breakfast left nothing to be desired and the service was also very attentive

From the outside it gives the impression of a "standard" hotel - but it's far from it. Very fine “retro” style mixed with modern elements. This runs through the entire hotel, including dinner and breakfast. I was on the "vegetable floor" - great idea to name the rooms that way. Here too, great floors, good mix of “preserved” and new elements. Thank you very much for that, gladly again!

Planned as a simple stop over on the journey south, we discovered a real pearl. Normally you are enthusiastic about the cuisine, yes, we are too. But now it's unfortunately rare for the service to be inspiring. From the wine presentation to the conversation, it's so professional that you hardly notice it. And a tattoo with a vine shows real passion for the profession. All in all: a real insider tip that you shouldn't drive past. A small downside: the “upgrade” to the dog room doesn’t feel like one.

Gute Zimmer, gutes Frühstück, freundliches Personal. Alles in Ordnung. Fitness und Sauna nicht im Haus, sondern gegenüber im Fitnessstudio.
