As a complete package (entrance to the Porsche and Mercedes Benz Museum) you can definitely repeat it, the wellness area could be newer & equipped with better relaxation options, unfortunately the exit to an outdoor area is completely missing

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. I would especially like to highlight the beautiful pool, which is perfect for relaxing. I also really enjoyed the sauna and the small fitness room. A big compliment goes to the receptionist: He was extremely friendly, accommodating, and immediately made me feel welcome. Overall, a fantastic hotel that I can definitely recommend!

A very nice hotel. Everything was very clean and tidy, and the breakfast was excellent with a wide selection. The highlights are the large pool and sauna, perfect for unwinding in the evening.

Great food and excellent service

The hotel is located in a small, charming village. However, it doesn't deserve a 4-star rating. The rooms are dated and impractically furnished for 4 people. A very small bathroom. And then, the highlight was the breakfast. It's ridiculous that we had to pay a whopping €23 per person for it. Such a waste of money. We could have had breakfast outside the hotel. Cheaper and better. It's a shame.

This was my second time staying at the Adler and I would stay there again anytime. I can't comment on the restaurant, as we ate there for a music festival, but as a chef, the menu definitely appeals to me. Both the more expensive and the more down-to-earth options are a favorite. Perhaps next time. Otherwise, I can only say that the staff is really very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and well-maintained both years. The coffee, which was criticized in another review, was very tasty. The young man who served us and others at the hotel bar one night (from August 1, 2025 to August 2) was still quite new and couldn't answer every question immediately, but special praise goes to him as well. He did a great job despite the sudden rush and special requests. The amenities, including little details like a shoehorn, sewing kit, and other odds and ends, aren't something you find so often in this price range these days, but it shows that the hotel cares. Organic products for shower gel, shampoo, etc., reinforce this impression. Also worth mentioning is the vending machine for food and drinks across the parking lot, with a very interesting selection. A lovely, traditional establishment that I'd love to visit again. :)

A fantastic hotel offering excellent service. The quality, selection, and friendly service at breakfast are no longer as commonplace as they are at this hotel. The restaurant is excellent. In conclusion: we'd be happy to return.

The atmosphere at the Adler isn't pleasant. Everything is dark brown and clearly showing its age. Checked in today at 5:30 p.m., no restaurant options, and a completely worn-out mattress in room 403. Checked out again at 5:40 p.m., paid the bill, and drove the last 500 kilometers through the night. This is supposed to be 4 stars+? Never.

We had breakfast, and the selection was up to the mark, and the price was perfectly reasonable. My only criticisms are that the coffee isn't particularly excellent and that a fried egg on the buffet doesn't really taste as good after a while.

A truly fantastic hotel in a picturesque location, where vineyards add a touch of glamour. The staff are super friendly, both at reception and in the restaurant, which serves excellent tapas. The rooms are fantastic. The indoor pool is wonderful, especially for families. The hotel has a sauna and a small but nice and adequate fitness area. I was there for work and will probably try to stay there whenever I'm there. Highly recommended.

I've stayed at the Hotel Adler in Asperg three times now – once alone, twice with my wife – and each time it was a thoroughly positive experience. The staff is extremely friendly, from reception to service; you immediately feel welcome. The rooms are very comfortable and well-kept – just the thing to unwind after a long day. I'd also like to particularly highlight the excellent breakfast: fresh, plentiful, and lovingly prepared – a great way to start the day. Check-in and check-out are absolutely seamless, which is especially convenient for business trips or weekend getaways. There's plenty of parking available. The hotel's restaurant, Aguila, is also highly recommended: a brilliant blend of Swabian and Spanish cuisine, creatively combined and exquisitely executed – you don't often find something of this quality. For us, the Hotel Adler is our first choice when traveling to Stuttgart – we always enjoy staying there and are already looking forward to our next stay!

Extremely good service, with a very smooth booking, check-in, and check-out process. Our needs were completely catered to, something I've rarely experienced so comprehensively; thank you again for that. The hotel is spotlessly clean and has, among other amenities, a beautiful, well-maintained indoor pool. Breakfast (very tasty and of excellent quality) is served in a charming courtyard or in the breakfast room. Personally, we found the location almost too central (traffic lights), but that's a matter of taste. I would have preferred a small refrigerator in the room.

I was just having breakfast. The waitress was incredibly lovely. Her name was Ms. Brückner. I've rarely had such friendly service. 😊😳

The reception staff is very helpful and pleasant. The restaurant is open until 23:00. You can have dinner if you arrive late. The pool is clean. There are towels in the pool. There are bathrobes and slippers in the rooms. Very small selection of food at breakfast, no additional food. When we asked for omelettes, we received an answer that one employee could not cope with the work. Does not correspond to 4 stars.

Everything was great in terms of cleanliness and comfort! The only negative point is that the breakfast buffet, which is relatively expensive, stops being refilled shortly before 10. Breakfast is until 10:30 and I also want to have the sauces for the salmon or fried eggs at 10 because I paid for them! That didn't leave a good impression.

Very good management, even with the arrangement booked in the hotel. For five stars, a kettle or coffee machine is still missing.

I was absolutely thrilled with the Hotel Adler in Asperg! I was warmly welcomed upon check-in, and this friendly service continued throughout my entire stay. The rooms are modern, tastefully furnished and absolutely clean - you can tell that a lot of attention is paid to details. The breakfast is particularly noteworthy: varied, fresh and with lots of regional products – simply great! The restaurant is also a real highlight with excellent cuisine and great service. The central location is ideal, whether for business or pleasure. I'll definitely be back - clear recommendation!

We were there for the second time and were very satisfied again. Especially with the very attentive and friendly employees at the reception. At this point I would also like to thank the lady who was on late shift during our first stay. The rooms have everything you need. TV, save and a small refrigerator are available. The swimming pool and the small sauna are also very nice. The breakfast buffet offers everything that goes with it and is very tasty. There is a large selection of open teas. At the small bar next to the reception you can get something to drink late and end the day comfortably. We will definitely come back at some point.

For my birthday party, I booked catering from the Hotel/Restaurant Adler. The food was first class, the organization was phenomenal, the service was perfect!!! The guest is still king! All of my wishes were implemented perfectly. This level of professionalism is hard to find. A big thank you to everyone who made it an unforgettable celebration!!!

Very friendly and pleasant boss of the house and the reception was also extremely friendly and attentive. My son and I wanted to enjoy dinner in the Schwabenstube restaurant. As an alternative to the 4 or 5-course menu, we “only” ordered the main course. Maybe I'm not used to first-class cuisine, but I personally found the price-performance ratio to be manageable. For two with drinks around €100.00 and then the need to drive to McDonalds... But as I said, we were very happy to get to know the boss of the whole thing because he was very, very approachable. Lunch at RichardZ will be judged. The quality of the food is excellent. The best roast onion I've ever eaten! If a meeting is taking place in the building, you should bring some time with you.

Perhaps my expectations were too high. I expected a panoramic view from the Signature Room and hoped to enjoy a swim and a bit of relaxation. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. The rooms seem dated but pleasant—like the tour group that occupied the wellness area. The woman at the reception was very friendly. And the beds weren't bad. But if the restaurants are closed, there's no reason for me to book here.

New Year's menu in the Schwabenstube - a culinary start to the year in a class of its own The menu was creative and of the highest standard. A highlight was the individually tailored intermediate course as a greeting from the kitchen. A big thank you to the entire team for this successful evening with friends.

Spent 1 night here to celebrate our son's 18th birthday and to eat in the star restaurant. The deluxe room we had I found dated and not like in the pictures. The rooms and hallway have dark carpets and worn here and there. Bed was ok, but room for 3 adults is not very spacious. Bathroom was ok. There were 3 bathrobes in the room, 2 of which were for children, even though we had booked a room for 3 adults. Receptionist was friendly and gave another one, which apparently had to be taken from another room. I found the swimming pool too cold, sauna was only at 42°, despite the fact that someone else had already reported to reception that the sauna was not warm. So did not enjoy the wellness. Restaurant was good, first time in Germany eaten a Michelin star, still a bit different than in Belgium, e.g. only 1 snack to start. The different courses were very tasty and nice wine. In the morning I was looking forward to breakfast and to our great surprise there was no table available for the 3 of us. Some tables were empty and reserved and at other tables for 4 there were only 2 people. We were offered to sit separately in the restaurant where it was cold and which meant that we had to go through 2 courses with our plates and bags. I found this unacceptable. The other proposal to have breakfast in the lobby even less so. After waiting for 10 minutes we said that we would rather have breakfast somewhere else and checked out immediately, which the receptionist apparently thought was a very good idea. To be honest, this is the first time I have experienced something like this. Tip: if you book breakfast for a large group, make sure that there is also room for the other guests to sit and place your group in a separate room, for example. Not to be repeated and had a nice extensive breakfast in a café bakery around the corner for less money.

Fantastic / top notch!! The owner-run house near Stuttgart is always worth a visit! You can notice the love for all the details as well as the extreme friendliness. Courteous and at the same time competent employees can be hand-picked! Combination of the tapas restaurant with star cuisine as well as tradition and modernity are reflected in the menu as well as in the building! Great!!!

Very friendly owner, met at check-in, pleasant, calm demeanor. The rooms are also comfortably furnished, the bed is nice and soft, everything in the bathroom is clean and tidy, enough towels, good water pressure in the shower. You should definitely keep in mind that the price is absolutely fair. Therefore deserves a full 5* stars.

I stayed at the Hotel Adler Asperg for the first time in December 2021 for professional reasons and now again in 2024 I had the choice between a newer hotel or the Adler Asperg. Out of loyalty, I chose the Adler again - and I have to say, it was the right decision! The staff are incredibly warm, and as a guest you feel completely comfortable and well looked after. The food, especially the beef fillet with spaetzle and vegetables, was, as in 2021, absolutely first-class. It's now become a tradition for me to order food to my room - and it's fantastic every time! A particular highlight: I was thirsty in the middle of the night, so I picked up the phone around midnight to ask for water. A nice young lady brought me the water so quickly and saw me back to bed with a friendly smile - just great! Keep it up, Hotel Adler Asperg! I would love to come back.

I stayed at the Hotel Adler for 2 days. The room and in general everywhere in the hotel was very, very clean! . I would definitely give the cleaning staff 5 stars, they do a great job! I would deduct a star for the service, because not all of the employees were friendly, some of them had the feeling that they didn't like doing the job, which is a shame. There was also a vegan dish for me at Aguila (I had informed them in advance). It was delicious. I would have liked to have seen something more vegan at breakfast, there was only a spread on bread, which I found a bit poor.... There are enough hotel parking spaces. The boss was always there to see and was very friendly. I can recommend the hotel!

The price ratio "overnight stay in a 2-person room" to the calculated "2-person breakfast" price is beyond understandable proportions in comparison to other, comparable hotel addresses in Germany! SHAME!!

Very well maintained, clean hotel with super friendly staff. We had a great time as a family of four in the spacious, air-conditioned room. Simply a hotel with a feel-good character. The swimming pool with sauna area is also a great area to relax, even for children (if they can swim). Sufficient parking spaces available, also free of charge, just a few minutes' walk away. A few restaurants, a bakery/café and a delicious ice cream parlor can be found in the immediate vicinity. Overall: 100% satisfaction! Highly recommended!

Was there 2 weeks ago. The shower door was missing in the first room. Shower curtain fell on my head. In the second room there was something stuck to the light switch. Was there again today on September 9th, 2014. Shower head and shower in general leaking. At that price I can imagine something better

Very average hotel. Stayed for 1 night and honestly was very eager to leave since arriving and seeing the room. Pros: - Pool was very nice - Sauna (didn't use but looked nice) - Front desk service, very nice Cons - Cleanliness was lacking within the room - Carpeted rooms, trapped smells & really didn't help air quality - Ventilation in room was lacking. Air was extremely stale despite windows open. Hallway was better. - Bed was uncomfortable, poor heat distribution. Overall, I will not be returning. Was quite disappointed.

Had a wonderful time at the hotel. We were there for 7 days and every day was a pleasure. The check-in was friendly and quick (already done digitally beforehand). The room with a fantastic view and air conditioning. The bed has really good mattresses - great. Organic products in the bathroom, finally a hotelier who doesn't use chemicals on your skin and head - thank you very much for that. Breakfast varied, the Zwergenwiese spreads are nice, even for non-vegans. It's perfect that you can't just find the usual range. Loving breakfast service here too. Food excellent in all restaurants, crowned by perfect service - always there, but not intrusive and friendly; that's very high school. Parking is not an issue and is ideal as a starting point for visits to winemakers (the service helps with recommendations here), Ludwigsburg and Stuttgart. There are enough hiking trails and cycle paths too; the hotel could expand its offerings here - bike rental. Again any time.

The swimming pool is just TOP TOP TOP. A great sauna, but 82° is a bit too much for me, 70° is optimal for me. (my feelings)

The hotel and restaurants can be recommended. There is an on-site swimming pool. The room was quiet. The size and facilities were fine. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. Organic cosmetics were available in the bathroom. The meal was excellent. The onion roast with Trollinger sauce alone is worth repeating. Luckily, there is a gourmet refrigerator in front of the hotel where you can take some delicacies with you from the hotel.

A positively exceptional hotel! The rooms are large and modern. There are shutters on the windows so it can be really dark. Despite the location close to the center, you can't hear the street because of the very good sound insulation. Everything was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly without being intrusive. The indoor pool is large and the whole atmosphere there is friendly and calming.

On May 5th we celebrated our son's confirmation with 22 people. Although there were 3 other confirmation ceremonies that day, everything went perfectly: we had various special/children's meals; it was always refilled and refilled; A contact person was available at any time. A wonderful example of a high quality family run hotel. Suitable for private visits, holidaymakers or day trippers as well as for business travelers or professional events. Christian Ottenbacher and his team take care of all guests' concerns all day long and in an extremely friendly manner. 3 great gastronomic concepts, from classic Swabian to a Spanish-style tapas and cocktail bar to elegant Michelin-winning top cuisine. The Adler in Asperg is very centrally located in the middle of Asperg. The Hohenasperg Fortress can be reached on foot in about 30 minutes and is very well preserved above Asperg. From here you also have a wonderful 360 degree view of Stuttgart and the surrounding area. At the fortress in the corner tower there is also a highly recommended stop that offers very tasty small and large dishes that were extremely tasty. Zum Adler: what a culinary jewel outside of Stuttgart, which has been awarded a Michelin star for several years. The star is easily well deserved, the price/performance ratio is excellent. Also recommended: the Spanish tapas bar. No matter what was served, it was a dream. Authentic and delicious - we couldn't stop eating. You felt like you were in Catalonia. The cocktails were also very tasty and creative. You can see how hospitality is lived here. Good breakfast. The entire staff was always friendly, helpful and professional. Any time!

We were guests at the Adler for two days. The tapas restaurant impressed with its ambience, the dishes on offer, its appearance and, last but not least, its taste. In the gourmet restaurant the food is beautifully presented and the taste is excellent. The wine selection in both restaurants was sufficient and very good. We were very happy with the service, slept very well and the breakfast was wonderful.

The Adler is a house with tradition. We were welcomed very nicely and shown to the table. In the afternoon there is a daily menu and you can choose a dish from the normal menu. The quality of our food was very good. For the price, the roast could be a little bigger. Our dessert was also very good. The eagle is recommended!

I wouldn't recommend to any American this hotel. It is dated and the staff was highly unprofessional and rude. We were very unhappy with our experience here. Parking was impossible.

The rooms were standard, logically no longer the newest, but nicely furnished, nothing more, nothing less. Some deduction for the fact that there is no socket next to the bed. The breakfast is quite steep at €23, but there is everything your heart desires! I'm happy to pay for that. We were warmly welcomed and served by the service everywhere. Use of the swimming pool is included in the price.

The room was very cold. There was no active response to the possibility of making the room warmer or adding a second duvet. It just said "We'll look at it" but apparently no solution was found because I was freezing all night. The next morning this was no longer discussed. We were 2 adults and 2 children (3y & 2y). The room was large, clean and nicely furnished. The service (reception & restaurant) were very helpful and very friendly. It had a small indoor band that was also very clean. The only point is that the water from the pool was a bit too cold for our children. It was very nice and we would recommend it.

Verbrachten schöne und erholsame Tage zwischen den Jahren im Hotel Adler in Asperg. Sehr aufmerksamer Service und die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter war wunderbar. Frühstück war hervorragend und Abends immer das Highlight in der Schwabenstube die Halbpension. Ganz hervorragende Küche welche selbst aus einem Schweinerückensteak noch einen Hochgenuss zauberte. Schwimmbadbereich ein wenig dunkel und auch das Wasser könnte 2 Grad mehr gut vertragen. Sauna muss an der Rezeption angemeldet werden und braucht gut 30 Minuten Vorlauf. Zimmer war in Ordnung, sauber wenn auch etwas klein mit Ausblick auf den Hinterhof. War aber das günstigste Standard DZ und insofern absolut ok. Der Ort Asperg gibt nun nicht so schrecklich viel her aber die zentrale Lage war ein guter Auagangspunkt für viele Ziele im Stuttgarter Norden. Check-Out und Check-In absolut problemlos und uns wurden sogar ungefragt noch 30 Euro abgezogen wegen eines zu hoch angesetzten HP Preises, der so erst ab 2024 gilt. Genügend kostenlose Parkplätze im angrenzenden Wohngebiet so dass nicht auf die kostenpflichtigen Hausangebote zurückgegriffen werden musste. Alles in allem wunderbare 4 Tage im Hotel Adler in Asperg die wir wirklich genossen haben.

Hatten am zweiten Weinachstag ein 4 - Gänge Mittagessen, sehr aufmerksamer Service, kompetente Weinempfehlung, diskrete Deko. Die Speisen waren geschmacklich sehr gut, leider haben wir von einem Sternerestaurant ein raffinierteres und interessanteres Anrichten auf den Tellern erwartet. Uns waren die Teller vor allem bei den Hauptgerichten zu überladen.

Schöne sauber Zimmer. Rezeption freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zimmer war auf die Strasse daher etwas lärmig. Kinder die im Gang spielten und dies um 23.00 Uhr!!! Weiterer Aufenthalt im Dezember, dieses mal gab es keine Heizung im Zimmer. Obwohl an der Rezeption gemeldet! Zur Gutmachung hätte man evtl. die Parkgebühr erlassen können. Wurde einfach zur Kenntnis genommen.

I lodged at the hotel for a total of 12 nights during my observership at OKM. The single-bed room was both spacious and impeccably clean, situated in a tranquil area conducive to undisturbed sleep. The affiliated restaurants offered quality dining experiences that justified their prices. In sum, it was a delightful extended stay.

Wie hatten Abendessen im Aquila, einen Abend an der Bar und eine Tagung am anschließenden Tag im Adler. Der gastronomische Service und die Qualität im Aquila ist wie schon lange einfach fantastisch. Wir haben herrliche Tapas gegessen und einen tollen Abend verbracht. Die Bar hat ein sehr eingeschränktes Sortiment, trotzdem ein schöner Abend. Bei der Schulung am nächsten Tag haben wir mit dem leckeren Frühstück im Adler begonnen und später einen tollen Mittagstisch genossen. Rundum ein gelungenes Paket.
