Roast beef was tough, the dumplings were completely cold and one of the waitresses was very unfriendly! Once and never again!

Very, very tasty 😋 my salmon was super fried, big on the outside, very tender on the inside. The noodles were also very tasty. We'll be back.

Because our gourmet block is about to expire, we decided to try something new in the region. That's why we ended up in Ramstein-Miesenbach where we wanted to try the Hopferei Wirtshaus. Location: When we arrived we first thought “Oh my God, what industrial area have we ended up in?” However, we discovered that the first impression was very misleading. There were some parking spaces available and the surrounding area didn't look like it either. As soon as we arrived inside, the stylishly furnished ambience and the delicious smells of good food quickly whet our appetite. Staff: The waitress welcomed us with a smile and was always friendly and very attentive. We had reserved a table, but arrived earlier than expected and were allowed to choose one of the free tables. The waitress took our order and helped us order so that we could make the most of our gourmet block. That was super friendly and accommodating. Without being intrusive, great care was taken to ensure that no empty glasses or plates were left standing for long and we were asked appropriately and very kindly whether there was anything else that could be done for us. After paying, we had a very good chat with the waitress and felt very comfortable (and if you're reading this, greetings from Kirchheim-Bolanden 😉) Drinks: Among other things, we had the “Hopferei Hausbier” which we really enjoyed. The fruity, tangy but also spicy note for a wheat was very refreshing. If there hadn't been a car ride to get us home, we would have definitely ordered a second or even third one 😊 Appetizer: As a starter we had baked feta in a pan. The tomato cubes were draped on it, stylishly presented and well seasoned. A little highlight in terms of taste. We also shared a Caesar salad with chicken strips. This was also very well presented and there was no skimping on the chicken, Grana Padano or bacon. That was already a 10 out of 10 for us. Main course: As a main course we had braised beef (seasonal dish). The braised beef, prepared as a low-temperature cooked beef bread roll, is a poem on the plate. The meat literally melted in your mouth, perfectly cooked and full of flavors. The side dishes harmonized very well, especially the apple and red cabbage was my personal highlight in terms of taste. I once had the beef burger myself. The meat was juicy and on point, the bun was crispy and tasted homemade. The sauce was strong and rounded off the taste of the whole thing. The cheddar might have needed another 10 seconds but was still melted well and had a very harmonious overall package. The steakhouse fries were well seasoned and went perfectly with it. All in all, it was a 9.5 out of 10 for us. Dessert: For dessert we had the chocolate soufflé which, contrary to the menu, was served with a dark center. When we asked, we were told that the concept had changed but the maps had not yet been updated. Even though that was a shame, we were still very impressed with the dessert. The core was still liquid and ran out when the soufflé was torn. The taste was very chocolaty and intense. The blueberry yoghurt ice cream tasted very good and the vanilla topping rounded it all off. Minus the missing white core, the dessert was a 9 out of 10 for us. Conclusion: We had a very nice evening in a restaurant with a wonderful, stylish atmosphere. We were able to smile about one or two little things, but all in all there was no negative criticism to be noted. I think we will be happy to visit again whenever we are in the area. PS: I didn't take many photos because of all the conversations with the companion. Will catch up next time :)

Mega! We were there with our 4 children (between 6 and 11 years old). While we waited for the food, the children were given coloring pages and markers to color with. The staff was very friendly and the food tasted great. We'll definitely go there again.

There are simple dishes such as burgers, salads or schnitzels. All well done. You have a house beer that wasn't to my taste.

Very nice staff. You can sit inside and outside in a pleasant atmosphere. The menu is varied and there are also several dishes to choose from for vegetarians. We had the vegetarian gnocchi and a burger. The portions are very large and the price is reasonable.

Had a delicious quick meal. The quality of the food is very good and the service fantastic. My daughter immediately received a coloring page and a small fork for dinner and when we left we had some sweets to put in the chef's car. I would recommend it to everyone!

This place has a friendly vibe and the food is fresh and tasty! Eva (Ewa?) is a quality host, always welcoming and provides quality service! The menu is varied but has seasonal additions that are a great addition. Can't go wrong with the onion rings or chicken Caesar salad but I have not had a bad meal here!

I ate the burger with fries and dip. To the point, perfectly medium, juicy and good. For a starter I had the breaded onion rings, which were also very tasty. Service good, we were served promptly and the food was served in a reasonable time. Ambiance is okay, but not my cup of tea, I like it rustic, but that's up to each individual. House beer is not my cup of tea either, but tastes vary here too. My colleague complained that there was no cream with the ice cream and never was, you should consider that because the ice cream with the grumble looked very tasty

Today we were at the inn with the voucher book. Everything was great. Great from reception to ordering. They even apologized that the table next to us got their food first even though they had ordered later (quicker prepared ones). I had ordered the steak medium rare, which came rather rare, but that wasn't a problem. Quality of the meat is good. Because frying a steak medium rare is not easy for a chef. My wife had the pretzel dumplings which were also delicious. Since we were sitting right next to the counter, I would like to compliment the young bartender and the waitress, great job.

While they consistently meet expectations, they often exceed them with their inspired takes on dishes from other cultures. It's a lively spot suitable for families and small groups, though occasional kitchen delays may occur, the overall experience is highly satisfying. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend both the delectable pork medallions and the overall experience at Hopferei Wirtshaus to anyone seeking a quality meal in the company of family or friends. This restaurant is a welcome addition to the Landstuhl culinary scene, offering a harmonious blend of modernity, flavor, and inviting ambiance.

Food was very good...unfortunately the service rarely came by.

A great restaurant, location, parking spaces in front of the door, the food is simply a dream. Had a romantic meal with my partner and had a wonderful evening. We will be back definitely !!! Thank you for having such a great restaurant near Kaiserslautern.

I have to say, I've eaten in Kaiserslautern and the surrounding area many times, and I always leave the inn in Ramstein completely satisfied! The food is super delicious and the service makes you feel comfortable every time, nothing is too much and your wishes are literally read from your lips, so really accommodating and very friendly. I really don't understand some of the negative reviews here...

Ambiance, staff, toilets, food… everything is great. Food arrived after 25 minutes, staff was very friendly, food tasted amazing! Call, reserve and see for yourself! We are thrilled and will be back - PROMISED!

Service is underground. We were in the restaurant for 2.5 hours. If we wanted drinks we had to go to the bar. There was never any question during service and not in between. Never again…

Not sure if it was because we are Americans, but three tables came in after us and got their food before us, and we spent over 3 hours with very little service.

Exceptionally good service from Eva! We'd love to come back. A friend asked for spaetzle and was given knöpfle on the house to try. All I can say is: hats off!

We haven't eaten so well in a long time. We ordered the beef burger and the rump steak (lady's cut). Both were cooked to perfection and very tasty. There was also the Caesar salad which was also great. The waitresses were very friendly and accommodating.

Haben 2 Std vorher angerufen, noch ein Platz für 2 bekommen. Bei Ankunft wurden wir sehr freundlich Begrüßt und zum Tisch begleitet. Die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam und schnell und lebt den Job. Essen war nach 25 min am Tisch - geschmacklich eine 10/10!!! Also das Steak ist sowas von gelungen, der Burger 9/10 (Geräucherter Geschmack sollte man mögen - sonst echt lecker) Alles in allem einfach spitze 🤩und wir kommen gern wieder und empfehlen euch auch weiter.

Modern und mit Wohlfühlfaktor! Für mich muss nicht nur das Essen passen, sondern auch alles drumherum. Die Karte ist übersichtlich, es ist für jeden was dabei und man wird immer fündig. Das Lokal an sich ist super warm gestaltet, man hat einen ausreichend großen Tisch und viel Platz drumherum. Es ist sehr gemütlich und gleichzeitig privat genug, um einen schönen Abend zu verbringen. Die Bedienungen sind immer höflich, zuvorkommend, arbeiten schnell und ordentlich. Für mich ist die Hopferei ein gelungenes Lokal, für mittags und abends, mit viel Liebe zum Detail, einem Koch der sein Handwerk beherrscht und mit fünf Sternen für das Gesamtpaket.

Vielen Dank für den schönen Abend :-) Die Servicekräfte waren super freundlich und total aufmerksam. Das Essen bombastisch und zwar optisch, als auch geschmacklich. Man könnte meinen, Pommes sind nur Kartoffeln, aber die hier waren mega. Der Buger um Welten besser als z.B. der im 21. Anfangs war es etwas kühl, weil die Heizung gesponnen hat, dafür wurde uns vom Haus ein Espresso spendiert. Heutzutage keine Selbstverständlichkeit, deshalb dafür auch nochmal vielen Dank. Dass wir länger waren, als das Wirtshaus geöffnet hatte, war uns zunächst nicht klar. Dennoch wurden wir weiterhin freundlich behandelt und nicht hinaus gekehrt. Wir waren bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal hier und meine, sowie die Empfehlung meiner Begleiterinnen ist dem Wirtshaus sicher. Absolut TOP :-)

Mega Essen aber bedinung war heute nicht ganz aif der Höhe leider

Nettes Restaurant, das Essen war soweit lecker nur etwas zu teuer. 3 Stücker Filet mit einer Handvoll Rosmarinkartoffeln für 21,50€ und dann ist nicht mal ein Salat dabei (kostet 6€ extra). Nun zum Service, die Bedienung an dem Abend war seeehr Unaufmerksam. Trinken wurde vergessen, wir haben nach dem Essen länger gewartet bis wir einen Nachtisch bestellen konnten obwohl vorher schon angemerkt wurde das wir einen bestellen wollen wenn die Kinder fertig sind mit Essen. Wir werden wohl nicht nochmal hingehen.

Nice place to eat in Landstuhl. Close by is the Kino. Everyone loved the shrimp appetizer. I tried the kasenudel and liked it. The burrata starter is good.

Das Ambiente ist schön und die Servicekraft ist sehr nett sowie zuvorkommend. Das Essen war nicht schlecht aber für fünf Sterne reicht es leider nicht aus.

Wife saw it online and had never been so we decided to take a chance. My steak was excellent. My wife's salmon ok. Not bad but just ok. The drinks amazing the pumpkin soup delicious. I gave it 5 across because clean, fast and food was well presented and I know different dishes would have been better.

Sehr leckere Frische Burger gegessen. Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Was mein Mann etwas Schade fand, war dass unter Hopferei Wirtshaus gedacht hat, dass es dort ein eigenes Bier gibt oder ein Gericht mit Biersoße. Aber ansonsten sehr zu empfehlen. Gerne wieder 👍

Leckeres Essen und netter Service

Habe den Beef-Burger mit Pommes gegessen. War sehr lecker, die Komponenten wurden heiß serviert. Einziges Manko - viel zu viel! Mir wurden die Reste aber freundlicherweise eingepackt. Ist sehr zu empfehlen! Freundlicher Service, tolle Location und gutes Essen.

Wir waren nun schon das 2. Mal dort. Das 1. Mal hätte ich gesagt mega (samstags). Bei dem 2. Mal ist es ein bisschen blöd gelaufen wie ich finde und dürfte nicht passieren ( ein Sonntag). Wir ware wie eben erwähnt samstags schon einmal essen es war top. Ein paar Wochen später waren wir sonntags essen und es war ärgerlich. Wir hatten einen Tisch für 18 Uhr bestellt und waren 8 Leute. Bis wir alle Vor und Hauptspeise bestellt und gegessen hatten war es ca. 19.30. Vor der Nachspeise legt man meist eine kurze Pause ein. Um 20.15 wollten wir unsere Nachspeisen bestellen. Sagte die Kellnerin, dass die Küche seit 20 Uhr geschlossen sei und das es nur sonntags so wäre. Ok wäre aber nett gewesen dies vorher mal anzukündigen, denn vier von uns hätten noch liebend gerne eine Nachspeise gehabt. Auch das Hausbier und mindestens eine Hauptspeise waren aus. Alles in allem ein sehr schönes Lokal vorallem drinnen ! Auch das Essen schmeckt lecker ! An alle Mamis mit Kleinkindern, welche den Drang haben sich ständig zu bewegen. Ich würde einen Platz draußen weniger empfehlen, da viele Autos auf dieser Straße rasen und es schon gefährlich werden könnte.

Das Essen war in Ordnung, mehr aber auch nicht. Die teueren Preise werden nicht gerechtfertigt. Preis/Leistung passt nicht.

And here I go again! Food is absolutely on point. It’s comfort food, it’s pasta, it’s steak, it’s something for everyone and for something for everyone of all ages. The staff is friendly, the place is cozy and immaculate. The isn’t a bad thing that can be said about it here!
