Ich bin gerne in der Hopfenliebe. Ein junges, nettes Team…das Bier ist lecker…als ich mich nicht entscheiden konnte, bekam ich 2 Probiergläser Bier 🍺 Klasse! Essen war lecker! Wir komme immer gerne wieder!

Wir hatten Flammkuchen bestellt, der jedoch kalt war, als er serviert wurde. Ähnliches traf auch auf den Leberkäse zu, der aber leider auch sehr stark gebraten war. Es hatte den Anschein, als wär die Küche überfordert oder die Abstimmung zwischen Küchenchef und den netten, aber leider auch ahnungslosen Studentinnen als Servicekräfte stimmt nicht.

One of the best restaurants we've ever eaten at! We were impressed by both the main course and the dessert. The various beers were also impressive. One star deducted for the service – they seemed a bit annoyed and took two drink orders only from our men at the table without asking us women. They then quickly disappeared. So we had to ask another server and order our drinks separately.

Freshly tapped beer, that's hop love xD ;) Snacks are also decent, and the staff have always been cheeky and rocking with their service. Top notch. Treat yourself!

We had a lovely evening at Hopfenliebe. The food (beef fillet, crispy chicken schnitzel) was absolutely delicious, and we would order it again in a heartbeat. The staff was attentive and friendly. As I said, it was very pleasant and there was nothing to complain about.

A great brewery, I really enjoyed it, which unfortunately couldn't be said for the food. My sausage salad consisted only of lettuce; you had to hunt for the sausage. My friend ordered a sliced ​​beef steak in a pepper cream sauce. The sauce was runny, the meat had no flavor, and my boyfriend had to wait almost 30 minutes for a piece of cake. We did a beer tasting with various beers, which was highly recommended, especially the additional information provided by our waiter, Hans. The food (shredded beef, pork medallions with Gorgonzola, and burger) was also excellent. We'd be happy to come back.

There were five of us for dinner, but we had only reserved for four people. The service was very flexible and easily arranged for us to sit together – a positive start to the evening. The tap was unfortunately broken that day, meaning not all of the beers on offer were available. However, the overall beer selection is good for a brewery, and the beer was tasty. The food was okay – rather mild in flavor, but could be adjusted with salt and pepper. The price is on the higher side, which wasn't always commensurate with the quality. The dessert was a negative: The portion of strawberries with a scoop of vanilla ice cream was quite expensive at €7.70 (€5.20 for the strawberries, €2.50 for the ice cream), especially considering the very small amount of strawberries. The service was consistently friendly and attentive. Overall, a solid place for a few beers and dinner – with minor flaws, but also some positive aspects.

If I could only take one bar with me to a deserted island – it would be Hop Love. Why? Because there's not only beer that would make even the gods jealous, but also people who make you think: Oh, that's what hospitality feels like! I particularly noticed Hoa - probably the friendliest, most charming and at the same time most efficient waitress north of the Elbe. I don't know how she does it, but she has what feels like ten tables in view at the same time, brings you the beer before you're even thirsty, and always has a smile on her lips that brightens up even a rainy evening in Hamburg. The mood? Relaxed, warm, a little crazy – just the way I like it. Not only hops, but also love is served here - in large jugs.

My husband and I went to Hopfenliebe on "Date Night" on Saturday. The ambience is beautiful, the food was fantastic and the service was just great. It started when I was able to tick “date” when making the reservation and promptly there was a candle on the table instead of a lamp. A small but very thoughtful detail. Since it was our first time there, we ordered a tasting set of 5 types of beer. We were thrilled by the different flavors. The home-made food and the attentive, friendly service staff rounded off the picture. It was a wonderful evening! Thank you!

Essen und Getränke (vor allem das eigene Bier) waren herausragend. Lage und Ambiente ist ebenfalls klasse. Service war sehr nett und aufmerksam, aber aufgrund der Fülle etwas langsam. Tisch direkt neben der Tür zieht etwas im Winter, da viele Leute immer noch rauchen und entsprechend rausgehen.

It was our first time here and we won't be coming back again. The service staff seemed untrained. 4 adults received one menu and three drink tickets. Instead of getting the correct number of cards, there was now one food and one drink menu. No information could be provided regarding questions about how the dishes were served. The food was ok, but we were still hungry afterwards. The dishes clearly had too few side dishes and too little sauce. Unfortunately, we couldn't order anything during the meal because we couldn't see anyone during the meal. The store was still quite empty at this point. When a larger group came into the store, it was so loud that we could barely hold a conversation. Of course, that disrupted the rest of the atmosphere. Another point of criticism: There is no children's meal on the menu. After asking, we had chicken nuggets with wedges and ketchup. Something “healthier” would be better for the little ones...

Vorab erwähnt.. Ich gebe hier nur meine persönliche Meinung ab und nicht die meiner Freunde! Insgesamt hat es uns (wieder mal) gut gefallen. Sehr freundlicher Service von Anfang bis Ende und das Ambiente stimmte. Leider waren die Haxen diesmal ein Reinfall, denn sie hatten weder Farbe noch Geschmack. Das bin ich von der Hopfenliebe anders gewohnt. Die Beilagen eher lieblos.. vielleicht hätte ich im Vorweg um Krautsalat und Semmelknödel bitten sollen, aber das Kartoffelpüree war nicht so mein Ding und das Sauerkraut haben meiner Frau und mir zwar geschmeckt, aber auch zugesetzt. Bin mir momentan nicht so sicher, ob ich noch einmal kommen sollte.

We didn't have a reservation and were seated at the bar...we sat next to each other and had to shout at each other at times because it was very, very loud in the restaurant...next time maybe just outside in the summer. and reserve in advance if necessary...

Wir hatten heute einen Tisch reserviert mit unserer ganzen Familie. Alle waren bestens zufrieden. Das Essen war ausnahmslos super lecker. Service spitze!! Bier sowieso. Fallen wir mal wieder in Hamburg sind, kommen wir gerne wieder.

Die Auswahl und die Qualität der Speisen sind hervorragend. Auch ist der Service super zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Was mich gestört hat, ist, dass die bei Open Table hinterlegte Speisekarte nicht aktuell war.

Meine Frau, meine Tochter und ich hatten das Vergnügen, im Restaurant Hopfenliebe zu essen. Es war einfach klasse ! Die Atmosphäre ist warm und einladend, perfekt für einen entspannten Abend. Die Karte bietet eine wunderbare Auswahl an kreativen Gerichten, die alle frisch zubereitet sind. Ich war besonders begeistert von der Vielfalt der Biere, die hervorragend zu den Speisen passten. Der Service war aufmerksam und freundlich – man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Ich kann Hopfenliebe nur empfehlen und freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Besuch!

Bei der Tischtreservierung ist es von Vorteil, wenn abgefragt wird, wie lange der Tisch beansprucht wird. Wenn ich für 17.00 Uhr reserviere, wird oft gesagt, dass der Tisch besetzt sei, weil der ab 19.00 Uhr reserviert wurde. Ich will aber nur bis 19.00 Uhr bleiben und in dieser Zeit wäre er frei. Immer wieder gerne! Die Getränke, das Essen und der Service sorgen bei uns regelmäßig für ein schönes Erlebnis, also auch immer wieder gerne für eine Wiederholung/Fortsetzung!

Ich hatte einen Tisch im Außenbereich reserviert. Als ich eintraf sagte man mir das das gar nicht möglich sein. Vielleicht sollte man das ändern oder besser kenntlich machen. Ansonsten war es wie immer super.

Der Service war nicht sehr freundlich und wenig zuvorkommend. Wir wollten etwas nach Bestellen, haben nach langer Zeit unseren Kellner darauf ansprechen können und haben dann etwas bestellt, was uns nicht gebracht wurde. Daher bekommt der Service nur maximal 1 von 5 Stern. Das Essen war sehr gut und hat angemessen lange gedauert bis es fertig war. Da wusste man, dass es frisch zubereitet wurde. Leider lag der Salat mit auf dem vorgewärmten Teller, was den Salat mit warm gemacht hatte, daher da auch nur 4 von 5 Sternen. Das Ambiente war sehr rustikal/modern eingerichtet was der Atmosphäre sehr geschmeichelt hat. Es war dort sehr belebt und hat uns sagen lassen, dass man sich dort gut gerne mal mit Freunden oder Kollegen treffen kann. Falls man sagt man will mal kurz was trinken gehen ist es super...man darf aber nicht zu viel vom Service erwarten.

Das Essen war hervorragend. Der Service wirkte ziemlich unorganisiert, kam diverse Male an den Tisch. Sehr laut im Restaurant, Unterhaltung war nur eingeschränkt möglich.
