We ate there with a group of 7 people and would love to come back 😃 The welcome was very warm and even though it was almost full, people kept asking questions with good timing and also had a nice chat/joke. The fun evening came to a great end when two musicians suddenly came in and started singing well-known songs with violin and guitar 😍 The food looked very appetizing and was really tasty. I found the prices reasonable. Conclusion: nothing to complain about 😁 Points deducted for slightly cold feet at the table and not so many parking spaces. Toilets are on the upper floor and would only be accessible to people with walking difficulties with assistance.

We ordered something to take away. The schnitzel is not recommended at all and unfortunately ended up in the trash. It's a shame that the quality of the rest comes down at the same time... But the ambience and service were very good.

The service and the ambience were really great. Unfortunately we didn't like the food. With a grill plate for €25 you expect a little more than a tough piece of neck, a dry grillie and a small piece of chicken. Really a shame. Tastes differ, that's clear, but unfortunately we can't recommend it.

We decided at short notice to go out for dinner on a Sunday evening and were inspired by Google recommendations/reviews and reserved a table shortly afterwards. We were absolutely not disappointed. It was very cozy, the food was great and the staff and the boss were really funny, nice and friendly! We were definitely not there for the last time! Highly recommended!!!

Great service, wonderful atmosphere. Food was okay, I just expected a little more from a charcoal grill house.

The service was good, no problems, the ambience was also good, the food looked great (Adana) but unfortunately it wasn't to my taste, although I often eat in other Adana restaurants, yours wasn't enough and the taste was far away from the others. You can argue about taste and colors, but if you're ever out and about in Edewecht, stop by and see for yourself. I think when I'm in the area again I'll come back and eat something different. My 3 stars really only refer to the Adana.

We had dinner together in the restaurant, at first everything was really great, although we had a relatively long wait for food and drinks, but the boss came to us personally and gave us schnapps. After we had our food and were mostly finished, the boss suddenly came up to us and said quite loudly to my husband that he should put his cell phone away (my husband has to answer his cell phone more often for work reasons and that should be during the week not to be reprehensible and in general it's not forbidden to look at your cell phone on a cozy evening), he repeated it several times and we then had to explain to the boss that my husband only speaks English. He then tried to speak to my husband in English to make understand what he wants to say. Everything would have been fine if he had simply clarified it personally at the table and the boss hadn't shouted loudly across half the restaurant, and his waitress was eating in the middle of the restaurant at that moment and was on her cell phone herself. We were visiting family and wanted to end our last evening together and this evening was significantly spoiled by the boss's behavior. I work in an upscale restaurant myself and this behavior is really dubious. And just as a small note, €7.90 is simply cheeky for a half-full Lillet. The food itself was really good and plentiful (so maybe as a little tip, pick it up instead of eating there if you have to).

Every now and then I travel by truck in Edewecht. When I get off work there, I really like to eat at the “charcoal grill house”. The food there is always plentiful and super tasty.👍 The prices are totally okay.👍 The staff is always very friendly and nice.👍 I will go there again when I get the chance.

It's crazy, I haven't eaten so well in a long time. A beautiful restaurant. I come here often, cold draft beer and the grilled plate is a culinary delight. Always my pleasure.

A more than perfect restaurant. Everything is perfect here, from the food to the service and the restaurant itself. The boss knows how to maintain a very friendly relationship with the guests. And as people living close to Cologne, we can directly compare the quality of Adana Kebab with the stronghold of Turkish cuisine in Cologne Mühlheim/Kalk. The Adana tastes really, really good. We're going straight back here tomorrow evening. However, reservations are recommended.

We came here spontaneously. It was around 8 p.m. and the weather was fine and the outside seating was accordingly occupied. A very friendly employee called the boss to check whether we could still get a table. The boss tried incredibly hard to meet our wishes and was honest. He offered us a seat in the restaurant and said that due to the high number of guests it would certainly take longer until we could eat. He saw that I am currently disabled and allowed me to use the toilet on the ground floor as the guest toilets are upstairs. Very attentive! So we chose a table inside and sat down. A friendly waitress immediately came and took our drinks order. The drinks came in no time. We ordered food and expected a long wait. However, this was limited and we were rewarded with an incredibly delicious meal. Whenever we are in the area again we already know which restaurant we will visit. Thank you very much for this exceptional hospitality.

My wife and I eat there regularly. The selection of dishes is varied and the food is fantastic! Really highly recommended.

Unfortunately we were unable to reach the restaurant by phone on 3 different days. We will not try this again in the future. Since there is unfortunately no information about a vacation on social media or even an announcement via the telephone, I assume that there is apparently enough sales and that in some cases you don't need to accept customers at all. Very unfortunate!

Unfortunately after 8.30 p.m. there is no more heat in the kitchen. Otherwise it's actually quite pleasant there

Four of us spontaneously went there for dinner and were welcomed like friends. A great place, very good service, nice staff, delicious food. Portion just right so you still have room for dessert and drinks without feeling too full. We will definitely come back as there is also a lot of vegetarian options on offer. Thank you very much....

I love the Charcoal Grillhaus restaurant! The food is always delicious, especially the delicious burgers. The owner is very nice and always makes you feel welcome. The atmosphere is cozy and the food is prepared with high quality ingredients. Definitely a place I would happily recommend!

Ein sehr schönes Lokal. Für einen Steak Liebhaber ein Muss, Rindersteak war auf den Punkt👌🏻👏Gemüse und Süßkartoffeln als Beilage waren super. Salat war knackig frisch 👌🏻

Das Essen war gut, aber nichts Besonderes. Die Wartezeit war recht lang, so dass die Laune leider etwas gelitten hat. Lag vielleicht daran, dass wir eine relativ große Gruppe waren... Das schlussendliche Bezahlen war nicht so einfach, wie man denken könnte. Das kann fluffiger laufen! Summa Summarum in Ordnung!

Ein sehr angenehmes eingerichtetes Restaurant mit sehr angenehmer Hintergrundsmusik. Die Spare rips sind nicht günstig aber empfehlenswert. Das Personal ist sehr höflich und servierte kostenlos ein sehr leckeren Nachtisch.

Super leckeres Essen. Wir sind durch Zufall auf der Durchreise etwa eine halbe Stunde vor Öffnung vorbeigekommen. Uns wurde trotzdem sofort ein Platz angeboten. Extrawünsche bei der Bestellung waren überhaupt kein Problem. Das Essen selber war absolut lecker. Preis-Leistung, Qualität und Service passen perfekt.

Bestes grillhouse überhaupt 👍 Definitiv immer wieder empfehlenswert. Entertainment pur 👌 Man wird immer sehr herzlich empfangen und fühl sich sehr wohl 🫶.

Sehr lecker. Unfassbar schönes, kleines, familiäres Ambiente. Die Bedienung war sehr nett und hat sehr glücklich bei der Arbeit gewirkt, was für mich persönlich entscheidend ist. Das Essen war super und ich kann mich wirklich null beschweren.
