The restaurant offers very good value for money. The dishes and the ambience are very clean and for this price I think the restaurant is really excellent. The food is replenished quickly and is always fresh. Plus, it's right in the city center, which is very convenient. Therefore I can definitely recommend it.

The food and service vary greatly, but all in all it's easy to get full and the robots and treadmill make it an inexpensive experience for the children, who "only" pay 10 euros

The sushi was good and was always freshly refilled or prepared. I paid 28 euros for one drink. Price/performance is okay

I was at this sushi restaurant on Friday. The food was fresh and tasted great. It would be better if the atmosphere was a bit expensive.

We went to the lunch buffet this afternoon. Since we haven't heard much good lately, we went there without any expectations. All I can say is the food was great. The selection of sushi was diverse. Everything was super fresh. The tape was constantly being replenished. The warm buffet was also fresh and appealing and tasted very good. The waitress was very friendly and the service was good. Overall, the tables were clean and already set before we arrived. I can only recommend it.

I've been in Hokkaido off and on for many years. I would really like to give more stars, but unfortunately I've been a bit disappointed since my last meal there :(. The dishes are OK, but definitely nothing exceptional. Unfortunately, especially lately, the food seems pretty sad. You rarely find fresh fish in sushi, almost everything only contains surimi + veggies (apart from the nigiri). But I would definitely like something with fresh tuna. The California Rolls also contain tomatoes and a fat layer of rice - that's not for me, but everyone has their own taste. But the service is nice. But the highlight was that another insect (maybe even several) ran over the sushi conveyor belt and then disappeared underneath it again. For a spontaneous meal, it's okay if you don't have high expectations of the sushi and don't mind a little insect protein.

After a few years, we had dinner at Running Sushi with five people. First of all, at least no one got sick. But there is no relationship between price and performance. 24.90 p.p. The food is not worth it for the dinner buffet/running sushi. Sure, an all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet always has a bit of a trashy character, but sometimes we feel like it, even the treadmill thing, and we didn't remember it being that bad (it was actually a few years ago). Back then it was also a little cheaper). - The buffet was typical buffet Chinese restaurant selection and quality. Nothing special. - Running Sushi, the upper "warm" floor contained various fried things such as spring rolls, wontons, baked bananas, shrimp, croquettes and even French fries (I've never understood why Asian restaurants have to have fries), mostly lukewarm at most the same thing over and over again. The lower floor had cold things like sushi, fruit, ice cream etc. The selection of sushi in particular was really disappointing, basically always the same thing garnished with different, brightly colored balls. For example, in the 1.5 hours I only saw two/three different types of simple maki and nigiri, and some of them didn't even look particularly fresh. Plates of the same stuff like seaweed salad, then meters of nothing. No more sesame balls, no fried ice cream, no more chocolate fountain, always the same plates with the same things, some of which have been doing the rounds for a long time. The drinks are of course quite expensive, as with all all-you-can eat restaurants. But here too the quality was rather mediocre. I've never had such a bad friend in my life. Just nothing. The service tried hard, but after a while we had to draw his attention to us as we walked past to order more drinks. Whether everything is OK Nobody asked what was/is. We had much better memories of the restaurant from 5 years ago and earlier. If the meal had been 12.50 or 15.50 euros per person I wouldn't have said anything about the cost, but for an average of around 32 euros per person. including drinks, it should at least taste good and with a running sushi there should actually be a lot of sushi on the treadmill. For the money, it's better to go to a real sushi restaurant or to a Vietnamese place around the corner, there is much better food for the money. I like to spend a lot of money on good food, but the price/performance ratio just doesn't match here, we certainly won't go there again.

We were there recently with friends and family, there was something for everyone - children, people who don't like fish and also vegetarians. The food was varied, fresh and tasty. The prices are completely fair, especially at lunchtime and if you're hungry. 
The service was top - and when the team found out why we were there, they quickly got a bouquet of flowers and a gift, which was a really great, touching surprise. 
I've been there many times myself and haven't found any reason not to continue doing so. I would probably eat “real sushi” somewhere else, but for the Running Sushi event it’s just very, very nice here.

Absolutely disappointing! The Running Sushi Restaurant is far too expensive for what is on offer. The selection was extremely limited and the few foods that were available didn't seem fresh and even the foods that were supposed to be hot were cold. In addition, the restaurant as a whole was very unkempt - dirty tables and an unhygienic atmosphere made the visit even more unpleasant. One table was so cluttered with bills or other paperwork. For this price you definitely expect more quality and cleanliness. Unfortunately, absolutely not recommended!

What can I say, the food wasn't good at all, the place seemed pretty dirty, you have to wait ages for service and in the end it's extremely expensive. Never again!

We were in Hokkaido on September 14th, 2024. The staff are very friendly. The food is worth every penny, it's delicious. The ambience of Hokkaido is very beautiful. When we are back in Kassel, we will definitely go to Hokkaido to eat again. If I could, I would give more than 5 🌟.

Unfortunately I'm very disappointed with this one Restaurant. A few years ago (until 2017) we were there several times and we always liked it. I had lunch there yesterday and unfortunately the quality of the food was very poor. The vegetable rice in the buffet was dry and hard, as if it had simply been kept warm for days. The food on the conveyor belt was mainly fried bites (fries, chicken nuggets, squid rings). The sushi selection was more than modest. Unfortunately there was no vegetarian sushi (avocado and cucumber) like before and I didn't even dare to try the fish sushi anymore after the disappointment in the taste. The price (16.99 euros) was absolutely not justified and I will no longer visit the restaurant. Clearly NOT a recommendation.

The many bad reviews since the change of ownership have surprised us quite a bit. Since then we have been there both at lunchtime and in the evening and have always been very satisfied. It has always been like this that the buffet cools down over time. The last time we went was today for lunch and we were very impressed. New furniture, the chairs are bigger and you no longer sit like a monkey on the grindstone if you are a little fatter, new dishes on the production line, spicy chicken parts, etc. The dishes that would hardly be eaten are like red crabs and mussels no longer on the tape. Unfortunately, the sushi is no longer as varied as it used to be, but it's better to put less than throw away so much.

Went there for dinner in the evening. The restaurant wasn't very busy. The sushi looked like it had been going in circles all day. Only sometimes something fresh. Exactly the same picture at the buffet. For almost €60 for 2 adults & 1 child I expected a little more

We went there again after 2 years and found it okay, but would choose another restaurant soon. The food on the line could be much more varied, especially the sushi.

We were there at the beginning of opening hours and the food was okay. Since we were there for a very long time, we were able to observe wonderfully how the food never ran out. The salmon became drier with each round, the salad sadder with each round. In general you could just see the food becoming inedible. I then ordered a cocktail and got an orange juice with a dash of syrup that hadn't even been stirred. A few tables behind us, an employee picked at some meat and threw it into a warming container. At first I thought this was private for her since she also used her teeth to help. However, it would then be put on the buffet (luckily it wasn't our turn)

This doesn't taste like sushi. It's not sushi either. More of a “sushi illusion”. Tastes like plastic, feels like plastic – maybe it used to be plastic? An experience of a lifetime that I would not wish on any enemy. It's better to spend a few euros more on real sushi or become a sushi samurai yourself. Too bad, I wasn't expecting Michelin sushi, but this was beyond good and bad (and edible). The "sushi" rice is actually just sad, unseasoned, regular rice, and the fish... well, the fish has about as much flavor and texture as an old pencil eraser. Conclusion: Stay away and save your taste buds!

This restaurant was recommended to me and my children ate there in March 2024 and it was probably good. Yesterday, June 24th, 2024, I was there with my colleagues and it was a disaster. 😡 It wasn't a buffet, it was more like leftover food, everything cold, hard and dry. Based on the selection, we understand something different by buffet. Treadmill everything was the same, ice cream was liquid like soup, fries cold, everything dry...few parts you could eat. The top of the drinking glass was torn. A cocktail with 5 different exotic juices was offered, but you were given perfectly normal orange juice without fruit. When asked, it was said that it couldn't be possible, all varieties were included, served with a syrup. And that should be declared on the menu if it was served with syrup instead of fruit juice. Even that can't be the case, you just have it only tasted orange juice. Food wasn't refilled either, upon request, yes it was done straight away. After half an hour and still nothing happened, we went to ask again. The staff then became rude and seemed annoyed. There were 10 guests on site at lunchtime, and we basically had to share the rest of what was edible. So something so outrageous doesn't deserve more than negative reviews. That's a disgrace 😡😡😡😡😡😡

24.50€ For extremely old food, half-rotten oranges do their rounds, the salmon on the sushi is so old that it's already getting dark. NEVER AGAIN WILL NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE

A few days ago, we sat down at a table in a group of two. With no expectations, we were surprised to find ourself locked in the restaurant since the owner keeps the doors shut. We had to ask for a restroom key like in a gas station, sadly the sushi wasn't much better than gas station sushi either. The runway which it get's distributed to the guests on was only rarely filled with ice cream, chicken nuggets, french fries and algae. The salmon smelled and tasted like it was from yesterday, there were no mochi which I was hoping for the most. Also I recommend an unfriendlier customer service. The whole experience was bad but it wasn't horrible enough to be funny, this needs improvement! Maybe start serving currywurst with the fries. +4 Stars because the weather was very nice and the chicken nuggets were tasty.

Delicious food, something for everyone, the line always changes the food that comes and the employees are very accommodating if you have a question or request!

Once and never again, pure disappointment. We assumed that a restaurant that has been around for a long time should actually be okay, but that wasn't the case here. Some of the sushi is very unsightly and doesn't taste good, and the service and friendliness of the staff are also second-rate. On evenings that I spent alone in front of the TV, I had sushi from Lidl or the gas station that was much better quality than what I got here when we visited. The sad thing is, we went to a sushi restaurant and at the end of the evening we ate chicken nuggets and fortune cookies from the buffet for a lot of money. For the same money I can get sushi of the highest quality a few hundred meters away, with sufficient portions and first-class taste. Hokkaido doesn't get any recommendations from me and the store won't see us again.

Loading dirt, eating, driving around for 30 minutes. Robot serves women, but not me. No card payment possible, and I had to pay €28 for it plus water. Yikes prefer McDonalds. At least the nuggets are warm there

I can only agree with the preliminary criticism. I have been to the restaurant several times and have now noticed that the quality of the food has deteriorated significantly. On the upper band there are small spring rolls in all geometric shapes on what feels like half of the plates. The rest tends between chips and indefinable fried foods. There are some good Maki offers on the lower band, but, as already mentioned in the previous recession, they are hardly refilled after around 8:30 p.m. Unfortunately, many Uramaki are decorated with artificial-looking neon decorations - I have no idea what it is. And the “icing on the cake”: there is mayonnaise on many of the offerings! I wonder what she's doing there. During an hour's stay, you actually come across several plates again and again, and you have the feeling of wanting to make friends with some of the scampi that are offered and sadly drive by. Regarding the service itself: when an employee comes to the table, they are actually very courteous and friendly. The belt has only rotated once until this happens. It just takes too long. And yes: the rolling computer control is a nice gimmick. Oh well. At least with the drinks it's quicker. All in all, the quality was better. The service is okay and the ambience is good. I wish for the good old days again. There used to be more tinsel.

Food was moderately warm, tasted okay. The plates were hardly refilled around 8:30 p.m., the food sometimes goes so many rounds that ice balls turn into milkshakes or yoghurt. The operator would rather sit at the table with his colleagues with a bottle of schnapps or wine than take care of his customers. The robot that brings you drinks is a nice gimmick but unfortunately nothing more. Unfortunately the food is not justified for the price, even though this restaurant is not expensive.

CAUTION!!! We had dinner there yesterday (April 5th, 2024) around 12 p.m. and both got extreme nausea and chills towards the evening. This continues to this day and is something I have never experienced before. I can only advise everyone not to eat there and hope that the health department will check this.

We haven't been here for a very long time. We were initially concerned because of one or two bad reviews here. But we are very pleasantly surprised. Food looks fresh and tastes good too. Maybe that's because yesterday was a rest day and today the food was freshly prepared. Or we were just lucky. As I said, we can only report positively from here.

Not good sushi. Lots of fried foods. Not beautifully presented. Price-performance doesn't fit! There are no drink menus with prices on the tables🤔...

Middle class sushi. Some things on the treadmill are visually unsightly and dried out. Differences in fish quality. Large selection to try, especially for sushi beginners. Wide range, also for children.

Unfortunately I was very disappointed. Three adults had dinner there. It seemed to us as if the leftovers from the lunch special were being put on tape again. There used to be a lot more choice. For example, the duck meat from the buffet was dried out. In the past there were salty shrimps on skewers, sesame balls or fried squid. Let's get to the food: On the cold line: Sushi that has certainly already made more than one round on the production line. Sometimes you were afraid to take some because you were afraid that you would come across the sushi a second time that night. When the shushi once looked presentable, it was dry and any slight touch would cause it to fall apart. On the warm line: Everything is just fried. Everything tasted old and as if the fat hadn't been changed in a while. At the same time, some of it was no longer identifiable. What wasn't fried definitely had better days. The fact that it didn't wave when driving past is everything. Summarized: Unclean, not tasty and the service was also rather bad. One star because Essen didn't say hello to us again that night.

It used to be much better (Tokyo). Now the food is cooking in the conveyor belt and the selection is poor. The buffet is always empty and is not refilled. Sorry, that doesn't work at all. Have tested this several times and always the same result. That was probably the last time today. Unfortunately I had to give 1 star.

Were here for about 2 hours, during which time we spent 1 hour eating 4 to a maximum of 5 different things (wasabi, spring rolls, ginger, oranges) comfortably driving the 24 hour race at Le Mans... no variety, catastrophic compared to the food on the conveyor belt and dying due to dehydration watching... Food that should actually be warm is ice cold and doesn't taste good at all... The store wasn't even 20% full and there was enough service staff... but there was no demand if you wanted something to drink... All in all a total failure you should definitely avoid NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

Don't understand the good reviews here. Hardly any choice when it comes to sushi. Enough fried stuff for that. The plates have apparently been making their rounds for hours. Staff not attentive, tables full of empty plates. Chaos behind the counter. Prices not justified. Really terrible and definitely not recommended! To everyone who might visit the store often: You can get something like that in Gut ;-)

I ordered from too good to go, then came at the right time for collection just to find it closed. I find it very disrespectful to let someone drive all the way just to drive back with no food. Says a lot about the management of this place.

It's good that you make a reservation for a birthday dinner, then you're reminded and then a quarter of an hour later you're standing in front of the locked door at lunchtime

A real letdown from a culinary point of view. The sushi on the conveyor belt was noticeably dried out, with no difference in craftsmanship to the packaged one at the discount store. There was a lot of fried food on the top conveyor belt. From croquettes to chicken nuggets to shrimp skewers. Unfortunately the temperature was rather lukewarm. The atmosphere is also very old. The employee who brought us to the table was friendly, but then he wasn't at the table for 30 minutes. So you couldn't order any more drinks. The first round was recorded at the beginning and delivered by robot. There is one star for the pure event with the band. That's it

Yesterday I was there again after probably 8 years. It's like before... the conveyor belt where the food runs through doesn't look so appetizing... we had our table at 6:30 p.m., but we still had to wait 15 minutes for it. Then we were allowed to go to our table. 20 minutes later we were asked if we would like something to drink. When I had finished my glass, no one came and asked me if I would like to drink anything else. It's loud in the room, the service staff seem very stressed and we were glad we were outside. For me, the sushi there is nothing special.

Eenzijdig eten op de band en slechte kwaliteit

Wir waren spontan das erste mal da und hätten uns diese "wilde" Erlebnis wirklich sparen können. Wir kamen gegen 17h und auf den Laufbändern liefen ein paar traurige Teller mit fettig frittiertem Zeug und ein Stück trauriges Sushi, das glaube ich schon seit dem Vortag seine Runden drehte. Wir fragten ein paar mal nach, ob denn noch was anderes kommt und es dauerte 45 Minuten bis langsam mal neue Sachen über das Laufband liefen. Weitere 15 Minuten bis tatsächlich mal einigermaßen ansehnliches Sushi kam. Aber auch das was kam, war von der Qualität her auch nicht besser als fertig verpacktes Lidl-Sushi. Da haben mir die 23 Euro pro Person echt weh getan. Das Ambiente ist ebenfalls eine Katastrophe. Erinnert eher an einen Schnellimbiss... Keine Musik, keine Stimmung, nichts, wo man länger verweilen möchte. Die asiatische, lebensgroße Puppe die am Eingang steht, sieht eigentlich genauso aus wie der Gesamteindruck: Traurig und veraltet. Das Personal war aber soweit nett. Sie waren stets bemüht sozusagen.

Essen echt lecker! Leider waren wir beim heutigen Besuch nicht so zufrieden. Geöffnet ist bis 17 Uhr. Ab 16 Uhr wurde dann kaum noch aufgelegt, es wurde vermehrt nach Eis oder Garnelenspießen gefragt, diesen Wünschen wurde auch nachgegangen. Mehr Auswahl wäre schöner gewesen. Man hätte wenigstens bis halb 5 auflegen können, Restaurant war gut besucht zu dem Zeitpunkt.

Wahnsinn einfach klasse für jung und alt ob alleine oder mehrere Leuten dort Essen zu gehen. Tolle Service Kräfte

Klare Empfehlung, das Personal ist unglaublich aufmerksam und super zuvorkommend. Wir fragten, ob wir etwas mehr vegetarisches Sushi über das Band bekommen könnten. Prompt kam eine Kellnerin und brachte einen ganzen Teller voll mit vegetarischen Sushiröllchen direkt an den Tisch. Das Essen war für das Mittagsmenü für 15,90 Euro pro Person sehr fair und gut. Für den Preis gab es sowohl das Band mit Sushi als auch das Band mit allerlei frittierten Kleinigkeiten und ein Buffet mit Nudeln, Reis, Fleisch, Salat und Nachtisch. Außerdem gibt es einen Roboter, der die Getränke an die Tische liefert.

Ich finde das Essen ist ganz gut und ganz frisch. Und ich persönlich finde es ist auch nicht so treuer und ich wurde sagen das schmeckt ganz gut . Auch der Service ist sehr gut.

Zu nüchtern und ungemütlich, aber gutes Sushi, Familienbetrieb.

Второй раз вряд ли бы пришли. Хоть ресторан и называется Суши, но выбор суши не большой. Да их ещё и выжидать и высматривать приходится. Хорошо если не заберут первыми, понравившееся блюдо, люди сидящие перед вами))) Нет тебе, в обычном китайском ресторане: захотел суши - пошел взял, захотел десерт - пошел в любое время взял! Тут же, за время которое мы там были, десертов так и не дождались. Может их там и нету... Кроме бананов в кляре и "страшненьких" апельсиновых долек??? Тут ты берешь не то что хочешь, а то что пустят на ленту, и что до тебя доедет, если до тебя это не заберут другие (не повезло, если ты сидишь в конце ленты))).

Wir waren gestern zum ersten Mal dort. Es war ok, aber für mich war es zu wenig Sushi bzw. kam bis zu uns meistens keins mehr. Ich hatte Hunger und da auf dem Band fast gar nichts mehr war, sind wir halt zum Buffet. Erst später war das Band gefüllter, da waren wir leider schon satt. Ich gebe aber trotzdem 4 Sterne, weil es mir geschmeckt hat.

Große Auswahl an Essen. Komme jedes Quartal hin aber man darf nicht den besten sushi erwarten. Was nicht heißt dass man sich nicht eine Kugel anisst.🤤

Wie immer wenn wir mal in Kassel sind haben wir hier gegessen, aber heute zum letzten Mal Es gibt 1 warmes und 1 kaltes Laufband, sowie ein Buffet. Wir waren am Nachmittag da, 2/3 der Tische waren frei trotzdem haben wir teilweise über 10 Minuten gewartet bis wieder mal etwas Sushi vorbei kam. Auf dem warmen Band waren die Speisen nur lauwarm. Die Bedienung musste man suchen. Beim nächsten Besuch in Kassel suchen wir uns ein neues Restaurant

Das Essen ist gut. Ich esse Sushi nicht so gerne, gehe aber für meine Frau mit. Deshalb hole ich mir mehr von Buffet. Nur wurde Das leider nicht aufgefüllt. Darum leider enttäuschent

Leckeres Essen und sehr kinderfreundlich.

Habe über Too good to Go Mittagsbuffet gerettet für wirklich wenig Geld mega viel bekommen von allem was auf dem Buffet war mehr als genug wurde eingepackt hab das ganze 2 mal bestellt konnten mit 3 Personen auch 3 Tage von essen. Können wir nur weiterempfehlen. Alles top 👍

Habe hier zum ersten Mal bei Too Good To Go eine Überraschungstüte bestellt. Ich muss sagen, dass das Essen super lecker war, viel Auswahl bot und die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich waren. Ich komme auf jeden Fall als normaler Kunde wieder und empfehle das Restaurant weiter!

War okay. Essen war lecker, nur teilweise frisch aber kann man sich ja raus picken. Geringe Auswahl, hat sich eigentlich immer wiederholt. Leider ausschließlich Sushi mit Fisch. Abwechslung mit Hähnchen oder Gemüse wäre nicht schlecht gewesen. Obst gab es quasi gar nicht.

Wir gingen früher öfter hier essen, werden aber nach heute nicht mehr wiederkommen. Alle von uns gegessenen Speisen waren kalt und haben im Gegensatz zu früher nicht wirklich geschmeckt, ständiges Aufstoßen im Nachhinein inklusive. Auswahl am Buffet sehr gering.

Essen ist super lecker. Man kann ja essen so viel man möchte.

Im ganzen ist es OK. Ob das essen immer frisch ist, wage ich zu bezweifeln. Das Personal ist ist nett und zuvorkommend. Das Ambiente ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und die Möbel teilweise sehr abgenutzt.

Immer ein und das selbe, aber wenn man kein Gourmet ist, ist es okay

Sehr leckeres Sushi. Nach 17 Uhr dauert es eine Weile bis das Band wieder lecker bestückt wir aber dann ist es mega lecker. Sehr nette, freundliche Bedienung. Wir kommen wieder!

Wir waren schon des öfteren in diesem Restaurant und immer zufrieden aber mittlerweile hat die Qualität sehr nachgelassen. Freitag abend und es war in dem Laden nichts los, kennen wir so überhaupt nicht. Wenn wir mal Lust auf Sushi hatten mussten wir immer bis zu 40 min am Wochenende auf ein Platz warten. Wir waren am Freitag das letzte mal dort.

Hokkaido ist für mich der Inbegriff eines großartigen Running Sushi Restaurants. Ich bin immer wieder beeindruckt von der Qualität und dem Geschmack der Sushi-Sorten, die sie anbieten. Die Frische der Zutaten ist unübertroffen, und man schmeckt die Hingabe, die in die Zubereitung gesteckt wird. Was Hokkaido wirklich herausstechen lässt, ist das Konzept des Running Sushi. Man kann die frischen Sushi-Kreationen direkt von der Laufband-Station wählen, und es ist immer ein Fest für die Sinne, die verschiedenen Gerichte vorbeiziehen zu sehen. Die Auswahl ist vielfältig, von klassischen Maki-Rollen bis zu kreativen Spezialitäten, und es gibt immer etwas Neues zu entdecken. Die Preise bei Hokkaido sind fair, besonders angesichts der Qualität der Speisen. Es ist ein Ort, an dem man wirklich das bekommt, wofür man bezahlt. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit, und die Atmosphäre im Restaurant ist einladend und entspannt. Insgesamt ist Hokkaido ein Ort, den ich gerne besuche, wenn ich Sushi genießen möchte. Die Kombination aus exzellentem Geschmack, frischen Zutaten und dem unterhaltsamen Running Sushi-Konzept macht ihn zu einem klaren 5-Sterne-Erlebnis.
