Friendly staff, food not bad, I was for Lunch Menu that costs 10 Euro but with a small mango juice and a bit extra rice I paid 17 Euro. For me it's too much and extra rice should not be charged. Anyway the environment is nice.

Great food, which we already know from Blaustein. Good quality, friendly and attentive staff. Great location on the city wall. We are looking forward to warmer weather, when we can even sit directly on the city wall. We will come back, again and again.

Unfortunately there was only space in the next room, which is probably also used as an office and lumber room - otherwise a highly recommended restaurant!!!

Very tasty food, nice and friendly staff for a normal/good price

Tested on a Saturday evening, I ate very well and it was very plentiful and economical. I'm not in the habit of not finishing my plates, but here, I stalled. The vegetable noodle soup was delicious. The waitress is very pleasant although I sometimes had difficulty understanding her. I recommend.

We were guided by the good reviews. Unfortunately I cannot agree with this. Starter was OK. The main course was unfortunately disappointing. Very little meat and too many vegetables. Rice very dry. I was missing salt and pepper and the soy sauce on the table. As well as the digestive spaps at the end.

We made a reservation and had to wait a while for our drink order. The next table came later and had drinks in front of us. Our starter was much smaller. We were expecting a larger portion for almost 10 euros... and for the main course the additional portion of rice cost 2.20 euros... in other restaurants additional rice is free. We're not coming anymore...👎

Very great location right on the Danube. The food was very tasty. The restaurant would have received a full 5 stars. Unfortunately the waiting time was a little longer and we were disturbed by bees while we were eating. However, I will eat there again when I'm nearby. Super delicious food and always very friendly service.

We went for lunch because of the good reviews. The food was average. The fried noodles weren't anything special, the curry with cooked chicken was much better. Overall it could be a bit cleaner and unfortunately the menus weren't appetizing either.

Great location, located on the city wall. There are rows of tables directly on the Danube, as well as on a large terrace slightly back. The service is friendly and attentive. The food was delicious (#31, chicken breast in red curry with coconut milk) and was delivered in a short time (approx. 12 minutes). One point deducted for the inadequate cleanliness of the drinks/menu. Like the tables, these should be cleaned regularly and should not feel sticky or sandy.

A really lovely evening at Hoi An Restaurant. We sat outside on the city wall and were able to enjoy the pleasant atmosphere. The staff was friendly and attentive, and we really enjoyed the food and drinks. A wonderful place to relax and enjoy good food in a special environment.

I have a wasp phobia and can't relax when there are wasps flying around all the time. The waiters noticed this and brought something that would drive away the wasps. I've never seen anything like that in a restaurant, really great service.

Quite a good Vietnamese restaurant, lunch at 10 euros is also reasonably priced. With a drink you can get away with around 15 euros. Service was standard. But the location is great, right on the Danube. If you're lucky, you'll get a spot with a direct view of the river.

The food was not so great, noodles were not well cooked, beef wasn’t good either, weren’t like the traditional Vietnamese Pho at all. We ordered some drinks and water, yet tap water was charged as bottled water.

The food is delicious and the service is really friendly! The view of the Danube from the wall is also worth it.

The Pho soup in particular is outstanding

The service was very very bad! There were seven of us in the restaurant when there was a moderate crowd and we had to wait 2 hours! waiting for our food. Half of the dishes were rice with fried vegetables, so no particularly elaborate special ingredients. Questions every 20 minutes were always answered with: “It’s about to start.” There was no apology, no compensation and no explanation from the restaurant as to why this inhumane delay occurred. We paid a total of over €100 and were very disappointed. The food was okay to good, but the mood and desire for the food were completely ruined and therefore difficult to enjoy. Because of these experiences we will not be returning and are very disappointed with this restaurant, which we originally came across based on the good reviews.

The food is incredibly good! So that's my recommendation for anyone who wants to try the kitchen. Also our first point of contact. But only when the weather is nice! Sitting on the city wall is wonderful. But you sit way too low in the chairs, which makes it a bit uncomfortable. The service is mediocre. You really have to wait a long time for food on a bad day. You often get the feeling that you have been forgotten. The interior design doesn't particularly suit everyone's taste. It's not mine, so I'm always looking for the way out. A little more eye for detail and a little work on the service makes it the perfect restaurant with the kitchen. (to sit outside)

The location of the restaurant is really great, right on the Danube. Even though it was raining where we were, we were lucky and got a table inside right by the window. The service was great and quick. The food was tasty and good. Would recommend it.

We have visited Hoi An several times. Great service every time, the food is really great and when the weather is nice you can enjoy the view of the Danube outside in a prime location. We like to come back every time and can absolutely recommend it!

Food was lukewarm and took a long time to use

The food was very tasty. The prices are high, but this is self-explanatory given this location. Unfortunately we didn't have a reservation. We were still given a table for a maximum of an hour (evil looks included 😅). So be sure to reserve in advance.

Because of the good reviews, I was looking forward to Hoi An. The service was friendly, the atmosphere right on the Danube was nice. The food was okay, large portions, but nothing special, neither in terms of taste nor presentation. I was annoyed because none of the four meals came at the same time. When the first meal came, the waitress didn't know what dish she had in her hand, so we had to guess what it was and who it was for. 5 minutes later the second dish came, 10 minutes later the third. The last meal came when the first meal had already been cleared away. After the second complaint I was even asked what I had ordered. We decided to change venues for dessert. What is missing here is a restaurant manager who can see where something is going wrong and then take care of it professionally.

We ordered something to pick up. It was checked again whether everything was there. Unfortunately my dish was missing rice. Nevertheless, the full price was charged for it. There may have been a misunderstanding when ordering. Still very annoying. In addition, the prices on the website do not correspond to the current prices on site. The taste was ok.

Beautifully located on the Danube. Unfortunately my chicken and fried noodles were cold...however, my colleague's food was exquisite...rice with duck If you want to sit on the wall facing the Danube... it's best to make a reservation.

Located directly on the Danube, on a terrace with a view. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Even though there was a lot of people, my drink came immediately and the food came very quickly. I had shrimp with vegetables and rice. The shrimp were cooked to perfection and the vegetables were very crunchy. Perfect! I can only recommend.

The food is fresh and super tasty. I like the traditional Pho Bo soup but I also always enjoy Bun Cha Gio. The staff is quick and very friendly. Since there is a lot going on on weekends, I recommend reserving a table because the ambience on the Danube is priceless. Always happy ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The best tofu pho I've eaten so far.

One star because unfortunately it has to be. I was there with my friend last night, reserved a table for 7 p.m., then left the restaurant at 8:15 p.m. without food. The service was unfriendly, brought the wrong beer then the wrong food. We still waited but after 1 hour and 15 minutes we left without eating. A no go, once and never again. PS: we still had to pay for the beer.

Update: Unfortunately, the two of us didn't get to eat yesterday. First the wrong beer was brought, then the starter. After half an hour one of the main courses was brought, but not what we had ordered. Unfortunately, the waitress had more to do with blaming everyone else on the team, but she didn't try. After more than an hour, neither of the two main courses came, we left. Unfortunately the lady didn't want or couldn't make sure we got the food. Blaming others, such as the kitchen, is unprofessional. And instructing guests what to do is also a no-go. Unfortunately we had to take care of everything ourselves. I have been there once and know that it tastes very good. But unfortunately the service was subpar yesterday. ---------- Had very good food. My test is honestly the peanut sauce and it is awesome. And the spring rolls even have a filling ☺️This is different from other restaurants. In terms of price it is also totally recommended

The menu is so poorly specified that you end up eating a dish that is not. Furthermore, in a plate of noodles with vegetables, vegetables are conspicuous by their absence. I wanted to talk to the managers and the only solution they gave is that the dishes are that simple and that's it. I hope they improve, they have a beautiful place and much more to offer!

This place seems authentic but is very far from it. I have to say that this is one of the worst places I’ve ever gotten food at and I don’t understand how it can have so many good reviews. I came here based off upon the reviews and it was an experience .. there is no such thing like taste and richness and flavour, it tasted poor and cheap on all levels. The chicken came uncooked twice ! The first soup over cooked and sour, the fried tempura just mushy slimy inside, the main course plain rice with veggies, chicken and some bought sauce in a cup, the noodles in the soup not done, watery consistency ans just the taste of plastic & coriander. I was disgusted to continue to eat due to the visible quality of the dishes. The menu looks great and mouth watering but I tried 4 dishes and I can say that this is not Vietnamese food. Maybe if you’ve never left Germany you might find it exotic but please, do yourself a favour and find an authentic place with well picked food with reasonable prices. For me this was an absolute disaster on many levels

Very tasty food and friendly service. You should also try the wine. Both the white wine and the rosé were excellent and next time I will try the red wine too.

Everything very tasty! Were here several times and every time it was delicious! 😋 Today there are 5 of us here and there is something for everyone, everyone enjoyed it very much and the service is friendly too :) We can recommend it to everyone!

The location is great, there's nothing to complain about. However, what is made of it leaves a lot to be desired. The actually beautiful terrace is devalued by a dingy corner and tables all over the place. The staff seems overwhelmed and acts chaotically. When the food finally came after an hour, it wasn't as ordered. Some of them were suddenly even sold out. Next time we will go back to the original location in Blaustein. The location is not that appealing, but the service and quality are good.

A surprise located in one of the most beautiful places in Ulm. The attention received by employees is extraordinary, professional, courteous and friendly. They make you feel at home. The quality of the food is outstanding, it should be noted that we arrived at 3:00 p.m. and the kitchen was still open. Personally, I found the duck delicious and I can't wait to come back to eat it again!!

Schönes neues Restaurant, Essen sehr lecker, Ente super knusprig und Garnelen tolle Panade.

Sehr lecker, sehr frisch. Schärfe für Speisen wird seperat serviert - find ich sehr gut. Draußen zu sitzen ist sehr schön - wie überall mal ein zwei Wespen. Ich hatte die vietnamesische Limonade die sehr gut ist - der Kellner war sehr aufmerksam und hat ein Schälchen mit rauchendem Kaffeepulver gebracht - das hat super gegen die Wespen geholfen die meine Limonade wollten :). Den Trick kannte ich noch nicht. Alles super !

Aufgrund guter Google-Rezensionen war ich heute mit meiner Schwester hier essen. Wir saßen bei schönem Wetter draußen. Die Plätze sind wunderschön direkt an der Donau gelegen. Das Essen war sehr schmackhaft und das Personal sehr freundlich. Empfehlenswert!

Wir sind heute spontan im Hoi An gelandet und sind begeistert! Mit süßen Lichtern mit Blick auf die Donau haben wir die uns empfohlenen Gerichte (Pho, Bun) probiert und lieben sie. Außerdem ist das Personal unglaublich herzlich und sympathisch. Leider wohnen wir nicht in Ulm, aber wir kommen wieder! :) <3

Wir haben uns von recht guten Bewertungen leiten lassen das Restaurant zu besuchen. Leider konnte es nicht wirklich überzeugen. Der Reis ist relativ trocken, die Gerichte für eine vietnamesische Küche viel zu fad. Die Aussicht über die Donau ist natürlich schön. Das hat man nicht häufig in Ulm.

Super leckeres Essen, leckere Getränke (ich hatte eine hausgemachte Limo) und ein toller Platz zum draußen sitzen am Wasser. Die Bedienung war auch außerordentlich freundlich. Weiter so, ich komme gerne wieder! :-)

Buonissimo vietnamita lungo il Danubio con tavoli all'aperto in zona pedonale. Tranquillo con bella vista. Ottimi i piatti, con sapori autentici. Belle le porzioni e la varietà di condimenti. Staff gentilissimo. Servizio veloce e attento. Menù anche in inglese (molto raro). Consigliatissimo.
