**Evaluation:** We were very disappointed with our visit to the Hoi An Restaurant in Eberswalde. The service was almost non-existent. After we got our food, we had to wait forever to maybe order something else or request the bill. It seemed like the staff were busy on their cell phones the whole time and had no interest in serving the guests. At least the food was okay, but that's not enough to convince us to visit again. We won't be coming back any time soon.

Unfortunately, Pho tasted very neutral and the beef was full of fat and gristle. Sushi was very oily. Very disappointing this time. Addendum: I was eating at the restaurant. The soup tasted like Maggi broth, the meat was thinner than the breading, the toilets were cleaned, according to plan, on August 14th, 2024... today is August 24th, 2024. Even the bag of coffee beans does not change the pungent smell. You can't eat authentically here. The planting can also tolerate a little more love and water. TIPS are accepted incredibly ungratefully. I'm really disappointed.

You could almost think you were in one of Asia's stylish restaurants. The restaurant has a really unique atmosphere for a restaurant. You can tell that attention is paid to the details here. We were here for the first time and felt very comfortable from the start. The service was attentive, friendly, accommodating and the food was like a little work of art. We will definitely come back.

Food okay, slightly seasoned, just like any Vietnamese snack bar at any train station. Staff quickly. But both of our vegetarian meals had meat in them. The staff at least said sorry briefly, albeit with a shrug of the shoulders.

The female service is underground...unfriendly...can't do math. Changes to eating will not be tolerated. Only when you don't want to eat anything and go.

Language barrier absolutely terrible..

Unfortunately, I don't like going to Hoi An anymore. The food is still good. But in the first year after opening it was a lot better. The service is my problem. That's why I'm no longer a guest. The repeated rudeness from the waitress keeps me away. Also, the last time I made an exception, I got spring rolls with meat even though I ordered vegetarian. Since I wasn't sure because of the smell, I asked the waitress if she was sure that the spring rolls were vegetarian. After being assured that they were vegetarian, I realized after one bite that this was not true. Very unpleasant experience.

We've been there a few times now and have to say the food is great and the service is nice and friendly.

The garden is very nice with the tree and the partial roof. The staff is ❤️ friendly. The starters & drinks came quickly. The sweet potato chips 10 are just too delicious. You should also try the beef in bertel leaves. The main course was hot and rich. I love crispy duck 23f. It was really very good. The farewell was more than warm. See you next time. Thank you ☺️

Ate there today too. We enjoyed it very much, so we will come back. 4 drinks, 3 main courses, 2 starters totaled around 70 euros - phew, but it was still acceptable. Ordered today at 5:15 p.m. and picked up at 5:45 p.m. Food was already at the 'door' waiting for me. Paid and go home. Edamame beans were great, as was the starter soup (4th Tom Kha Gai soup) with tofu. The dumplings were great - 9. Wan Tan Chien. Sweet potato fries (10. Khoai Lang Chien) were OK - the mayo was missing. Unfortunately we didn't like the glass noodle salad (24. MIEN XAO) today - the crispy chicken, however, was again extremely tasty. The 23rd PHO XAO PAD VIET, however, was great!

We wanted to have lunch there. There were only 3 guests in total, including ourselves. Unfortunately, that was probably too exciting for the service. There were easily 6 employees walking around there, but we were ignored. After 20 minutes someone came to ask if we had made a decision, but then left without waiting for our answer. Then we got up and left. Conclusion: a pretty nice looking shop, no service. We couldn't tell whether there was food or drink there. In any case, we got nothing. And we won't find out anymore because we don't go there anymore and can't recommend it.

The restaurant offers two changing daily menus on weekdays, which are cheaper than the usual dish. The menu offers a wide range of starters and main courses. Furthermore, the range of sushi is also diverse. As a starter I had the Tom Kha Gai soup and dumplings with chicken filling with some glass noodles. The soup was deliciously fresh thanks to the spices and at the same time creamy thanks to the coconut milk. The dumplings were crispy and delicious. Unfortunately I didn't like the fish sauce. Would have preferred fever sweet and sour sauce, but it was only offered in the vegetarian version. The drink was a homemade iced tea with mango and lime and it tasted wonderful. The main course was breaded chicken (Monday's daily menu) with vegetables in curry coconut sauce. A salad and rice were served on the plate. Tasted wonderfully creamy and spicy. Could have had a little more rice. For dessert there was breaded ice cream. Tasted very good. Crispy on the outside and creamy and soft on the inside. Overall, highly recommended. I subtracted a dime for the ambience because the rooms were very dark, but still modern and clean. I deducted a point for service because the waitress simply left while I was ordering, even though I hadn't finished ordering yet. I found it very borderline. However, the food was served very quickly. The sanitary facilities were very clean. Unfortunately there was only cold water when washing hands. I think the price-performance ratio is good for the location. The restaurant is located in a small side street in the center of Eberswalde. On good days you can also sit outside on the terrace. Overall, highly recommended.

Very tasty food - udon soup with chicken is essential and nutritious, noodles with shrimps are also great; the big minus is the service that doesn't speak English and is therefore misleading and there is no card in English. Additionally, it is not possible to pay by card, which we asked about before placing the order, but the staff does not understand 😊

Good food and ambience, but pushy service and unclear payment The culinary experience in this restaurant is excellent and the ambience is very appealing. Unfortunately, intrusive operation spoils the overall picture. Billing errors often occur when paying in cash, and even the receipt is missing when paying by card. The haste shown leaves the guest with the uneasy feeling that they may have paid excessive prices. Here, improved communication and transparency from staff could significantly improve the overall experience.

I was hoping some of the bad reviews wouldn't be true, but unfortunately we weren't that happy either. The food and service came so quickly and often that we had the impression that we should leave quickly. Communication was sometimes very difficult, my food continued to cook on the table because it was so hot. Curiously, card payments are only possible from €30. Every now and then there was an unpleasant smell in the store. The food was okay, but unfortunately it didn't correspond to the description on the menu. I felt like I had gotten something completely different. Freshness and taste so-so. A pity.

Actually good food, but the service and ambience have deteriorated significantly. At times the service is annoying, it feels like it comes to the table 10 times and gives you the impression that you should quickly end your stay after eating in Hoi An. In the entrance area you are now greeted by a table that is obviously a work table for the take-aways. And ingredients are often missing from the dishes (e.g. sesame) or there are dishes on the menu that cannot be offered. I used to like going there, but today there are better alternatives (e.g. the Oishi behind the Rathauspassage). Cash payment is often required, although there is the option of paying by card. It always shows up when you don't have enough cash with you. Then suddenly it works!

Hat mich nicht umgehauen. Die Bedienung hat zu wenig deutsch und kein Englisch gesprochen. War etwas kompliziert was zu bestellen. Die Edamame waren sehr lapperig und fast gar nicht gesalzen. So schlechte Edamame hatte ich noch nie. Die Shrimps waren aber ok. Enttäuscht waren wir alle vom Sushi. Die Platte für 4 reicht bei weitem nicht und ist mit 60€ nicht gut im Preis-/ Leistungsverhalten. Es kam auch unspektakulär an. Kein Trockeneis oder Special Effekt. Nur das „Boot“ auf den Tisch gestellt fertig. Rechnung konnten wir nicht splitten. Nicht sehr Kundenorientiert. War mein letztes Mal da. Muss man nicht unbedingt hin.

Ich fand das Essen total lecker,Bedienung total sympathisch freundlich und nett. Auf dem Essen mussten man auch nicht lange warten. Würde auch sehr gerne wieder dort hingehen.

Ein sehe gutes Restaurant mit nur einem Stern Abzug für den Winter 2022, weil die Heizung nicht gut funktioniert hatte. Es war doch etwas kalt. Ein sympathischer Kellner mit Schlurfgang. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Ich komme gerne wieder. Update: Heizung funktioniert 2023. Anderes Personal. Freundlich und bemüht. Das Essen ist immer noch sehr gut.

Tolles Ambiente und leckere Speisen. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Überprüft unbedingt die Rechnung. Es tauchen ziemlich oft Posten auf, die einfach nicht konsumiert wurden. So lässt sich auch Umsatz generieren.

Im Grunde ganz okay jedoch waren bei uns die Speisen zum Teil kalt. Der Service war okay aber die Frage nach darfs noch etwas sein hätte Öfter kommen sollen.

Wir waren schon 1x hier, vor Corona, und waren damals schon begeistert. Vom Sushi, vom Ambiente und der Freundlichkeit des Teams... Und vom fritiertem Eis. Und diesmal... Diesmal war es einfach himmlisch. Wieder 1x essen ohne Pflicht, Freundlichkeit des Service und das leckere Essen und... Das fritierte Eis... Vielen Dank und wir sind bald wieder da. Was ist passiert im Hoi An...ich habe geschwärmt vom Hoi An...habe meine Freundin heute an ihrem Geburtstag Juli 2023 hierher eingeladen. Gut , ich habe nicht reserviert. Wollte trotzdem mit ihr im Hof sitzen. Prima hat geklappt .. okay, war dann der Tisch hinter der Hoftür ...aber später kam ein Paar, die auch im Hof sitzen wollten , sollten aber draußen Platz nehmen , weil alles reserviert war im Hof(stimmt überall standen die Schilder/nur es kam kaum jemand an diese Tische )und erst als sie erwähnten, woanders hinzu gehen, bekamen sie den Tisch neben uns. Die Wan Tan waren wie immer lecker knusprig. Die Hauptspeise war gut, Reisnudeln mit Hühnerbrust (wobei die Hühnerbrust nur die Hälfte von dieser war ) ...als tollen Abschluss sollte oder besser gab es TempuraEis(frittiertes Eis) ...also ich bin enttäuscht. Die 2 Kugeln waren ( vor Corona eine gute Handvoll mit krosser Hülle und in Sesam gewälzt) diesmal etwas größer als ein Tischtennisball und die Teighülle naja ...ohne Sesam und nur ein Hauch von Kross. Schade , sehr schade und es war noch nicht mal Wochenende wirkten das Servicepersonal hektisch... Und wieder einmal ein Besuch im Hoi An (November 2023) ...unter der Woche am frühen Abend...alles leer... ich war gespannt...und ja, was soll ich sagen...so wie ich das Hoi An kennen und schwärmen gelernt habe ..wieder ein voller Erfolg...die Wan Tan friert, mega lecker und heiß, dann das Sushi Menü 3 , schaut selber...ein Gedicht im Geschmack, der Auswahl und der Anordnung...Leute was bitte will man mehr...im Anschluss noch gebackene Banane ohne Eis, weil ging nicht mehr rein. Also hier nochmals gesagt ...Danke für das heutige Erlebnis

Asiatische Überraschungen bietet das vietnamesische Restaurant Hoi An. Die Speisen sind wesentlich abwechslungsreicher und damit ein echter Genuss als beim Asiaten um die Ecke. Europäische Gaumen brauchen sich aber nicht zu fürchten, dass sie ungewöhnliche Geschmacksrichtungen vorgesetzt bekommen - außergewöhnlich sind sie aber allemal. Auffallend sind die freundlichen Servicekräfte, die sich nicht nur bemühen, sondern die Gäste auch spüren lassen, dass sie willkommen sind. Freunde der Braukunst sollten unbedingt die exotischen Biersorten testen, vorsichtig aber, sie könnten zu warm sein, was aber angesichts der übrigen Leistung keinen Punktabzug gibt. Ganz nebenbei sind die Gerichte nicht nur richtig lecker, sondern auch äußerst preiswert. Wir kommen gerne wieder und öfter mal vorbei.

Essen ist top, aber der Service ist grottig!
