Hof Löbke in Ibbenbüren

Today we went to Löbke's breakfast buffet with our eldest son, his fiancée and our daughter-in-law and grandchildren. I was there for the first time. The atmosphere was calm and pleasant, despite being well attended. Noise level was limited. The regional dishes on offer were very plentiful and tasty. Various rolls, types of bread and vegetables (raw, pickled or steamed) were offered. Dishes Eggs, scrambled eggs, various cold cuts, cheeses and for non-vegetarians or vegans even baron, fresh meat and scrambled eggs with bacon. All in all, it was a tasty morning. The whole environment should also be mentioned - farm shop, farm cafe and the playground (charges apply). So I can only say that the farmer did it right. Keep it up. Thanks for the lovely morning.

Top overall. Unfortunately very expensive, but also understandable given the quality.

We always enjoy being here. The burger was quite good; Unfortunately the fries were almost cold. The pumpkin schnitzel was a disappointment. These were just four small and very thin breaded/fried rings, almost cold and without any pumpkin flavor. But the salad was tasty again.

Farm is great, especially for children. Playground was also great, only the staff in the restaurant were very unfriendly (October 31, 2024). A three-year-old child was not allowed to have his own chair because several guests were supposed to come today. However, the tables were not reserved and were empty at that time.

Were there several times. It's really nice. Always happy.

A wonderful afternoon for young and old :))

The place is beautiful, the playground is really varied but unfortunately that's it. The playground costs an entrance fee for children and adults, which is outrageous for what is on offer. The employees are overwhelmed. The lady who collects the entrance fee at the playground also has to sell food and coffee. When the coffee is empty, she has to close the cash register to get more from the yard, meanwhile the queue of people who want to go to the playground is getting longer and longer. Unfortunately the food isn't any better. The prices were mediocre and the queues were endless. Not recommended with children. Similar in the dirfladen, a lot of it is not even regional. (Spain etc.) The store is very crowded and crowded with staff at their limit. Too few staff, too many tasks. The animals are cute alpaca and cattle. It's nice for decoration and for strolling, but in the end everyone has to decide for themselves whether it's worth it.

Very nice place, the large playground is also very interesting with children. There is delicious food and drinks at reasonable prices. Gladly again.

Beautiful farm with a great organic shop. A large playground for children. It is an adventure farm where regional seasonal specialties are grown and sold. You can also eat something good there with all meals of the day. A trip with children is particularly recommended.

Great farm shop, playground for the children (although there is a fee) and a nice restaurant with good food.

A beautiful yard that was decorated with a lot of love. The playground offers many options for the little ones - but there is an entrance fee. At the weekend, combined with nice weather, it gets very crowded here! During the week you can move around here in peace and see everything. The home-style food is very tasty and large portions for a fair price. The pumpkin waffle is an absolute recommendation!

I expected more according to social media etc. Playground for five people isn't that great either.

Good breakfast in pleasant surroundings. I found the price/performance ratio to be okay.

The farm is beautiful to look at from the outside. The lunch buffet was somewhat reduced 90 minutes before the end and some of the side dishes lacked heat. The service was ok, the interior had a “youth hostel” feel.

If you have kids you might enjoy this. Otherwise there's not much to see here and the food isn't great.

The atmosphere is beautiful and the pumpkin animals are very good. The playground is for all ages. The picnic huts offer space to rest or eat.

Hof Löbke is an absolute insider tip, especially in autumn! The whole yard is lovingly decorated with pumpkins and impressive pumpkin sculptures, which creates a great atmosphere. There is a large selection of fresh, regional vegetables that can be purchased locally - the quality is excellent. A visit is worthwhile not only for shopping, but also to enjoy the autumnal atmosphere and creative decorations. If you are looking for fresh products and a special experience, you should definitely stop by!

You feel at home at the Löbke farm. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The farm shop offers delicacies from our own production. You can get everything your heart desires. The ambience in the restaurant and on the outside terrace is overwhelming. Anyone who has been here will 100 percent be happy to come back next time. The landscape around is a poem.

A beautiful farm, great farm shop, delicious food...but absolute mass processing, staff overwhelmed by the large number of visitors and the absolute blast is that the entrance fee for the playground is 5 euros, I find it impossible.

Full of commercial store. This is where the masses of people are processed. Tranquility...out of place. There is a €5 fee to use the playground. Incredible!!

Very nice and large soil area, I would have expected more from the animals. 2 goats, 2 ponies and 2 small buffaloes, nothing more. Don't buy the food at the checkout, the animals won't eat it. I'd rather do it directly at the enclosure

Beautiful farm and very attractive offerings in the farm shop! Pumpkin display suggestion for next year: Pokémon! This will definitely attract some children (and big children :-)) to the yard.

UPDATE 10/24 --- Unfriendly and expensive. You are simply processed there, which I have experienced several times now. Feeling good is different. 1.50 euros for a boiled egg, which you order separately from the breakfast offered, is simply outrageous. Never again! --UPDATE 10/24-- Today I dared to do it again at my mother's request. What can I say, it was another failure! The coffee was lukewarm, the fries were cold but the nuggets were hot. The waiter apologized and that was it. It's better to complain straight away and have it returned. We paid a proud price for this. There are also “Reserved” signs on all the back tables. We already wanted to leave. If the waiter hadn't intercepted us and explained to us that we shouldn't just sit down but rather report to the staff and then we would be assigned a table. Whether this is beneficial to customers remains to be seen. We have experienced guests leaving because they thought it was really reserved. There is really something on offer for families with small children and the farm shop is also nice, but I can only advise against drinking coffee or eating.

It's really bad... we've been sitting here for 50 minutes waiting for a waffle... we've already asked 3 times... the staff is completely overwhelmed and unfriendly. This will be my last time here in the restaurant.. thank you for wasting my life time

A really great farm with great play opportunities for children, well decorated for the seasons, great shopping experience, always great interesting food, great bread, great gift ideas, the buffet is also delicious. Only the friendliness leaves a lot to be desired, they just always seem very annoyed , definitely tried but annoyed. Too bad

Nice ambience but tasteless, overpriced food for the quality. We imagined it differently. The buffet didn't look very inviting so we ate a la kart. A tough schnitzel with dry fries. Ketchup and mayonnaise 0.50 each extra. Well, the motto is quantity before quantity. We also found the so-called farm shop to be too expensive. The fresh vegetables were okay but comparable to market quality. The pumpkin presentation was successful and worth seeing. Conclusion: we will not be repeat offenders

We treated ourselves to a gourmet breakfast buffet on Sunday. The breakfast was rich and delicious. What I would like to emphasize again is that there is as much coffee as you want, which is not common everywhere. The only thing we were missing was fresh fruit. The Löbke farm is always worth a visit because you can buy great things there. Fresh fruit, vegetables, homemade meals and much more. There is also a playground for children. Great farm with a really wide range of attractions, especially for children! Now in autumn there is a great pumpkin exhibition and the farm shop has also adapted to autumn. The food was really good and the prices were very fair!! The children's playground (fee payable) is quite large and has great play equipment. The only negative point was the organization of the cash registers in the farm shop and at the ice cream parlor, which was unfortunately a bit chaotic... Otherwise, thumbs up, we can recommend it!

The location is very nice and child-friendly. It is clean and very natural. Unfortunately the staff is very disinterested and unfriendly. Unfortunately, there are no cafes in the play area. I didn't eat so I can't rate it.

A nice place to linger, there are always promotions/events that match the season. Nice farm shop with regional products. Food is solid but not a revelation, service is okay.

A real experience at pumpkin season. There were figures made of pumpkins to marvel at, plants such as kiwis, figs, hops, etc. were full of fruit. You could buy many regional foods in the farm shop. There was an ice cream stand, outdoor dining in self-service, a large buffet if you ordered in advance and also a stand for buying decorative pumpkins. It was also great that there was a children's playground. The celebration on October 3rd was a success.

It was an experience again. Unfortunately, due to the rush, the toilets are not cleaned often enough. The men's toilet is literally under water, and the cleanliness of the women's room leaves a lot to be desired.

Nothing gets better than Hof Löbke

We saw a lot in the 3 hours and we liked it. The children's area is very well done, prices are also OK. We noticed a few things like, there was a lady working at the ice cream counter who needed to brush up on her fingernail hygiene. Totally dirty/long fingernails and the hygiene of the toilets needs to be checked more often. Exhaust air in the toilet areas would also be an advantage against the stuffy warm air.

We went on an alpaca hike, everything was explained very well beforehand and there were a lot of interesting things during the hike. Will definitely come back.

Nice location with an extraordinary ambience in the outdoor area. The breakfast buffet was sometimes not refilled quickly, which gave the impression that some of the plates were “eaten away”. The selection and quality corresponds approximately to a 4**** house. So not bad, but not special either.

I ordered a beer. There were little stippkes floating in it. Then wanted to have a new one. The beer would be poured down a little and refilled. Not so satisfactory now. I also wonder why adults still have to pay €4 for the playground. I'm not coming back.

Delicious, simple self-service food, friendly staff and sitting outside under the chestnut tree was very pleasant. I felt a bit sorry for the two girls when they had the ice cream because they could hardly keep up with the amount of orders. There were enough parking spaces and the farm shop still had a sufficient selection despite there being a lot of people on Sunday. Toilets were still in good usable condition. What I didn't like was that there was an entrance fee to the playground...

I was there on the day they had the Greek-Turkish buffet. Very tasty, great service and enough space outside for the children.

The two of us went there for the breakfast buffet. There was everything you needed on the buffet, the table was set and a pot of coffee was already ready. However, I personally didn't like the coffee that much, others may see it differently. Afterwards we sat outside with a non-alcoholic cocktail. The cocktail was extremely delicious (rhubarb/blackcurrant)!!

We always like the adventure farm. You can do a lot with the kids here for just a small dollar. The paid playground is beautifully laid out and there are lots of things to let off steam here. But I don't understand why adults now have to pay €4 here.

The yard is really beautiful. The farm shop also has a lot of delicious things to offer. We were there for breakfast and the experience was a bit disappointing. I had reserved a table with a high chair in advance. When we arrived they asked my name and said: Oh, I just gave away your table because there was a family with a child there. I thought that was them...we got another table, which unfortunately wasn't quite as pretty and was next to a door. A waitress wore a T-shirt with a large inscription: Don't rush me! Sorry, but that doesn't work AT ALL in the catering industry. The tea water was cold but was reheated when asked. At 9:50 a.m. there was only one type of cheese left...a shame. Overall, rather sobering. Still, it's worth a visit because the farm is really pretty.

We are there every year for the asparagus buffet and occasionally for the breakfast buffet. The ambience is great, the service staff are very nice and the food is delicious. I can also only recommend the farm's own bakery, where we also ordered our wedding cake.

On the drive from Rotterdam to Hamburg we wanted to take a nice lunch break and came across this restaurant by chance. Very tasty food, friendly service and reasonably priced. Vegetables are home-grown, there were delicious chanterelles.

We had a consistently positive experience. We discovered the farm by chance while passing through and treated ourselves to the delicious food there. The farm shop is also unique and incredibly diverse and offers something for everyone. Even if we were just passing through, if we are in the area again we will definitely plan a full day to enjoy all the wonderful things that are on offer :)

A play paradise for children, a shopping paradise for mom and dad. And delicious food for everyone too. Only the ponies urgently need to lose weight. 🙈

The staff could be a little nicer here and there. But now I blame it on the stress they had there. The cake and coffee were great. And my son was really looking forward to the playing opportunities 😊👍.

I don't think paying €5 to go to a playground is a good idea.
